More Bad Than Good:

"Here's where we found the den. It's right in the middle of the hiking trails." Stiles informed me as he pointed to a spot on the screen of his phone and I glanced down at the convergence of several trails as I hummed in acknowledgement. Apparently, Scott and Stiles had gone looking for Malia's body but discovered that she was a werecoyote that had changed on the full moon and accidently killed her mother and little sister that now refused to change back into a human. They had cornered me the minute they walked into the History classroom because they wanted my opinion on how to find Malia and they knew I was an expert on animals and their behaviour. I shifted my position in my Dorothy Perkins Petals Multi Coloured Print Playsuit, Hudson Jeans Signature Jean Jacket and Faux Leather Strap Cork Wedges with my brunette hair up in a messy bun.

"Well, that could narrow it down. Coyotes travel on fixed trails. But I think you're right about her not going back to the den. Coyotes don't like wolves. And they're really smart. If they don't want to be heard, they actually walk on their toes." I told them quietly so that we weren't overheard by the other students milling around the back of the classroom and Scott nodded silently in understanding as I handed Stiles back his phone.

"Coyotes tip-toe?" Stiles asked me incredulously with a sort of impressed expression on his face and I chuckled lightly as he slipped his phone back into his pants pocket.

"They tip-toe." I agreed with him with a small smile as I nodded my head and he mouthed the word 'wow' just as the bell rang overhead. I touched his arm with a smile as I started walking towards the front of the class behind Scott and Stiles wondered over to the other side of the room to take his usual seat. I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going so I nearly ran into Scott when he suddenly stopped in front of me and I scowled at his back as I took a step backwards.

"Hey. I'm Kira. You knew that. I knew you knew that. I don't know why I just told you that again." Kira said awkwardly as she nearly bounced on her feet with nervous energy and I quirked an eyebrow at her in amusement as I leaned my hip against the desk next to me. "Anyway, I have something for you."

"For me?" Scott asked in surprise as he smiled at her rambling and she nodded slightly as she searched through her backpack for something.

"Yeah. About the Bardo. My explanation was sort of all over the place, so I did some research and I printed it out for you."

"Ah, you didn't have to do that." he replied with a chuckle as he watched her fondly and I crossed my arms over my chest as I watched the pair in amusement.

"It only took a couple of hours."

"Wow. Then you really didn't have to do that."

"I swear I printed it out." She murmured to herself as she continued to search through her bag and I shook my head at her total lack of subtly but I couldn't help liking her naivety.

"Kira. You forgot all the research you did for that boy you like." Mr Yukimura said as he walked up to the pair with a smile and Kira turned around to face him as he handed her a stack of paper. Scott turned his head around to look at me with a startled but excited smile and I gave him a cheesy thumb up as I giggled at his expression. He quickly turned back around to face Kira as she slowly twisted back around to look at him and she looked completely mortified by her father as she held the stack of paper out for him to take. Scott grinned at her as she smiled back slightly before rushing over to her seat and I bit my lip to stop from laughing out loud because I didn't think they'd appreciate it.

"Did you hear that?" Scott asked me excitedly as he turned around to face me with a wide smile and I pushed myself off of the desk I was leaning on as I patted his arm gently.

"Good for you, Scott. Can we keep her? She's like a skittish kitten." I said jokingly as I pulled a little on his arm with a pout on my lips and he gave me a small push in the direction of my seat as he laughed at me. I pressed a kiss to his cheek as I passed by him and I gracefully sat down in my usual seat as Mr Yukimura walked up to the front of the class.

"All right, everyone. Let's get started. We were just talking about internment camps and prisoners of war. There's a passage in our reading that I'd like to go over in more detail. Who would like to come up and read aloud for us? Mr. Stilinski, how about you?" he asked cheerfully as he gestured towards Stiles with his hand and I turned in my seat to look at my friend with a concerned frown because I knew that he was having trouble reading at the moment.

"Oh, maybe someone else could." Stiles stated as he slouched further down in his seat and Mr Yukimura gave him a stern look as he pointed towards the podium at the front of the room.

"Everyone participates in my class, Mr. Stilinski."

"You know, I love public speaking. Can I read instead?" I asked eagerly as I raised my hand in the air with a smile and Mr Yukimura gave me an unimpressed look that I interpreted to mean 'no' as I slowly dropped my hand. Stiles offered me a grateful smile as he stood up from his seat and made his way up to the front of the room.

"Okay, okay. Come on, come on." Stiles whispered to himself as he gripped the edge of the podium until his knuckles tried white under the pressure and I frowned in concern as he squinted in confusion at the paper in front of him. His breathing started to come out laboured as he stared in bewilderment at the top of the podium and I licked my lip nervously as he staggered backwards slightly. I started to stand up from my seat but Scott quickly jumped out of his seat and ran up to the front of the room to help support Stiles so that he didn't fall.

"Stiles? You okay?" Scott asked him softly in concern as he frowned at his friend and Stiles just shook his head in answer as he continued to hyperventilate. "I should take him to the nurse's office."

"That's probably best." Mr Yukimura agreed as Scott led Stiles out of the room in a rush and I watched them go in concern as I bit down on my lower lip to stop myself from following them.

I absentmindedly tapped my pen on the edge of the desk to the rhythm of Radioactive by Imagine Dragons as I waited for the end of class and tuned out Mr Yukimura's voice as he droned on about World War I. The bell rang overhead as I jerked at the sudden noise and blinked rapidly as I sat up straight in my seat.

"Do not forget the chapters on President Carter and the Commission on Wartime Relocation." Mr Yukimura called out over the sound of students clamouring to collect their belongs and I quickly grabbed my book as I stood up from my seat. I glanced over my shoulder at Scott's forgotten bag when everyone had filed out of the room and I walked over to pick it up so that I could take it before finding him and Stiles. I lifted it on my shoulder as I turned around to grab Stiles backpack but I saw that Kira was already picking it up with her back to me.

"You do know that doesn't belong to you, right?" I asked her jokingly with a quirked eyebrow as I placed one hand on my hip and she jumped in surprise as she turned around with frightened wide eyes.

"Oh, um, I was just…" she stuttered unsurely as she tucked a strand of her jet black hair behind her ear and I tilted my head to the side with an expectant expression because I wanted to see how she would finish her sentence. "I just, I saw their bags still here and…"

"You do realise you'll have to finish a sentence at some point?"

"I wasn't going to doing anything, I swear!" she assured me quickly as she shook her head rapidly in denial and I couldn't help the chuckle that escaped my lips as I smiled in amusement at her flustered blush.

"Kira, calm down. I'm only teasing you. Breathe." I instructed her pointedly as I shook my head at her slightly with a smile and she took a deep breath as she smiled shakily at me. I walked over to her side of the room as I held up my hands in mock surrender and she shifted nervously on her feet as she fidgeted with her fingers absently. "Okay, don't tease Kira. Good to know for future reference."

"No! It's fine, really."

"Honey, you nearly had a conniption just now." I said with a small laugh as I picked up Stiles bag from the ground and she chuckled softly to herself as she ducked her head in embarrassment. I offered her a warm smile as I held Stiles bag out for her to take and she blinked at me in surprise as she took the bag from me hesitantly. I spun around on my heel as I sauntered out of the room knowing that she would follow me and I smirked smugly to myself when I heard her hurried footsteps catching up to me.

"Where are we going?" she asked me breathlessly as I slowed down so that she didn't have to jog to keep to me and I looked over my shoulder at her with a smirk on my lips.

"We're going to find Scott. Maybe he'll be extra appreciative…" I trailed off suggestively as I winked at her with a small chuckle and she blushed bright red instantly as she opened and closed her mouth multiple times. "I'm Sophie, by the way. Scott's sister."

"I know. I mean, it's not like I'm a stalker or anything. I just heard some things. Nothing horrible! Just rumours, ones that probably aren't even true." Kira defended herself in a hurry as she rambled in a high pitched voice and I laughed in delight as I glanced at her troubled expression before turning back around.

"Oh, they probably are." I drawled nonchalantly as I waved a hand in the air dismissively with a smirk on my lips and I heard Kira falter in her steps behind me before rushing to catch up to me as she breathed out a laugh. a low growl echoed through the empty hallway and I instantly froze with a frown on my lips as I held out an arm to stop Kira from moving.

"What are you – ?"

"Shh!" I hissed softly as I looked around the hallway for the where the sound came from and my eyes widened when I saw a coyote standing in the middle of the hallway with its teeth bared as it growled at us dangerously. Kira gasped next to me as her breathing hitched in fear and I grabbed her arm gently as I slowly walked us backwards without taking my eyes off of the coyote. I knew that if Kira wasn't here I could just flash my eyes at it and it would know that I was the dominate species but I couldn't risk Kira seeing my eyes glowing violet. The coyote growled louder as it stalked forward and I quickly glanced to the side of the hallway to see that the locker room was right next to us. I grabbed Kira's arm tightly as the coyote started running towards us and I threw open the locker room door as I pushed Kira into the room before slamming the door behind us. "Go, go, go, move!" I ordered her quietly as I dropped Scott's bag onto the ground and started dragging her away from the door as she let Stiles backpack fall to the floor. We ran behind the furthest row of metal lockers as I heard glass smashing behind us and I knew that the coyote had gotten into the room as I pushed Kira in front of me so that I could peek around the corner of the locker.

"Oh, my god. Oh, my god." Kira murmured to herself under her breath as she slid down the lockers until she was sitting on the ground with her knees up to her chest. I slowly sat down next to her with a sympathetic smile and clasped my hand in hers as she turned her head to look at me in surprise.

"Well, this is one hell of a bonding experience." I joked lightly in a soft voice as I offered her a reassuring smile and she smiled back at me gratefully as I squeezed her hand gently. I bit my lower lip nervously as I slowly leaned over to peek around the edge of the lockers and I ignored Kira's panicked breathing as she tried to pull me back behind the concealment of the locker. I heard the coyote's soft footsteps as it prowled around the locker room and I quickly ducked back behind the lockers when I heard the coyote on the over side. I turned back to Kira as I held my finger in front of my lips to tell her to be quiet and she nodded jerkily as I slowly helped her stand up without making any noise. The growling from the coyote intensified as I dragged Kira back a few steps and I licked my lips nervously as I started edging our way over in the opposite direction than the coyote so that we could make a run for the door. I heard someone's quiet human footsteps enter the room from the back door and I sniffed the air discreetly before sighing inaudibly in relief when I recognised Scott's familiar scent. My brother appeared at the end of the row of lockers with a slightly panicked expression and I gestured with my head towards the growling coyote as he slowly walked towards us. He let out a small grunt as he slammed both of his hands into the locker forcibly and the lockers knocked over like dominoes as Kira grabbed my arm in her vice-like grip. I wrapped my arm around her waist as she leaned into me and Scott grabbed us both as I heard the coyote run out of the locker room.

"Are you guys okay?" Scott asked us in concern as he turned Kira around to search her shocked face for injuries and she blinked rapidly in surprise before nodding jerkily in answer.

"Yeah, yeah, we're fine." I assured him in a firm voice as I looked in the direction that the coyote ran off in and Scott grabbed my arm gently to gain my attention as the door to the locker room burst open. I looked back at the door as uniformed police officers came into the room searching for the wild animal and I felt Scott pull me slightly away from everyone started crowded around Kira for details about what happened.

"It was Malia." My brother told me in a whisper once we were out of hearing range and I looked at him with wide eyes as I realised that he meant the coyote was actually Malia.

"What was she doing here? What did you and Stiles do to piss her off?"

"How do you know we did something?" he asked me in an offended tone as he stepped back slightly and I quirked an eyebrow at him in disbelief as I crossed my arms over my chest until he sighed in defeat. "We might have done something but I don't know what though."

That day after school, Scott, Stiles, Isaac and I gathered at the animal clinic to discuss how best to help Malia change back into a human girl after years of living as a coyote.

"Xylazine. It's a tranquilizer for horses. For a werecoyote, expect it to work within seconds. We only have three. So whoever's shooting, needs to be a damn good shot." I informed them as I walked back in the examination room with three small vials of xylazine in my hand and I set them down on the metal exam table where the boys had formed a loose circle.

"Allison's a perfect shot." Scott reminded me nonchalantly as he leaned both of his hands on the edge of the table opposite me and I placed my hands in the white lab coat I was wearing over my clothes from school.

"She used to be." Isaac said hesitantly off the end of the table as he crossed his arms over his chest and Scott looked up at him as I leaned my hip against the edge of the table.

"She can do it."

"If we manage to find the thing."

"Okay, what is the point of him? Seriously, I mean, what is his purpose? Aside from the persistent negativity and the scarf? What's up with the scarf anyway? It's 65 degrees out." Stiles said in an irritated voice as he pointed a finger in Isaac's direction and the Beta smiled back sarcastically as I stifled a laugh by pressing my lips together in a tight line.

"Look, maybe I'm asking a question no one here wants to ask. How do we turn a coyote back into a girl, when she hasn't been a girl for eight years?" Isaac asked in a slightly raised voice as he looked directly at Stiles almost challengingly and there was a tense moment of silence that followed the question that was on all of our minds.

"I can do it." Scott told us in a low voice as he stared down at the top of the table and I quirked an eyebrow at him in question because I knew that he was having trouble controlling his transformations. "You remember the night that Peter trapped us in the school?"

"Vividly." I interjected drily as I pursed my lip in annoyance and Stiles nodded in agreement with my assessment as Scott looked up at us with a serious expression.

"In the gym, he was able to make me turn using just his voice. Deucalion did the same thing in the distillery."

"This is a werecoyote, Scott. Who knows if it'll even work, if you can find someone who can teach you."

"That's why you called Derek first." Stiles said with a knowing sigh as he scratched the back of his head and I bit my lower lip in between my teeth as I pulled my phone out of my pocket to check that the ex-Alpha hadn't tried to call me back.

"Yeah, I had Sophie call him too. You know, just in case he was ignoring me on purpose. I could try it on my own. But right now, I'm too scared to even change into just a werewolf." my brother admitted sheepishly as he shook his head slightly and Stiles let out a heavily sigh as he scrunched up his face in frustration.

"We need a real Alpha. You know what I mean." He said quickly with an apologetic grimace when Scott made an offended expression and I raised both my eyebrows at him as I stepped back to lean against the counter behind me with my arms folded over my chest. "An Alpha who can do Alpha things. You know, an Alpha who can get it going. You know, get it…."

"Up?" Isaac suggested innocently when the human trailed off unsurely and I laughed lightly at the comment as Stiles kind of shrugged in agreement with a slightly impressed expression.

"Great. I'm an Alpha with performance issues." Scott complained with annoyance leaking into his voice as he leaned his hands against the metal table and I frowned sympathetically as my phone beeped to let me know I had a text message.

"Is there anyone else besides Derek who could help?" I asked them airily as I reached into my pocket blindly and I smiled when I read the name on the caller ID but didn't open the message from Aiden.

"I wouldn't trust Peter. Maybe the twins?" Stiles suggested in a question as he looked over at me expectantly and I shook my head with a small frown on my lips as I slipped my phone back in my pocket.

"They're not Alphas anymore. After what Jennifer did, almost killing them? It broke that part of them."

"Yeah, but what if they know how to do it?"

"Nobody's seen them for weeks." Scott reminded us morosely as he shook his head weakly and I bit my lip guiltily as I fidgeted with my fingers absently.

"Actually, that's not totally true." Isaac told them reluctantly as he glanced over at me pointedly and Stiles and Scott immediately followed his gaze in surprise as I looked up at the ceiling innocently.

"Sophie…"

"Hmm?" I murmured questioningly as I looked over at him with wide eyes and he looked at me disapprovingly as he raised an eyebrow at me expectantly.

"Are you still seeing Aiden?"

"No." I answered honestly with a smile as I pointed a finger at him and Isaac let out a chuckle as he looked down at his feet to hide his smirk. "I haven't seen Aiden in weeks."

"You should read her text messages though. I mean, wow!" Isaac said teasingly as he smirked over at me and I glared at him in annoyance as I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket.

"Isaac, you want to sleep on the street tonight? Shut up!" I snapped at him in irritation as I shot him another glare and he held his hands up in surrender as I started typing out a text message.

Me: I'm calling in a favour. I need you and Ethan to meet us at Derek's loft. Please.

Aiden: Fine. But I will collect.

"The twins are going to meet us at Derek's loft." I informed the boys as I slipped my lab coat off gracefully and avoided their disapproving gazes as I pulled on my jacket before heading towards the back door.

"Sophie, come on. We're just concerned for you." Stiles called out after me as they hurried to catch up to my long strides and I sighed as I turned around to face all three of them with a small smile on my lips.

"And I appreciate it, but I'm a werewolf slash druid with supernatural strength, control over the elements and training in nearly every type of weaponry and martial arts. I understood you're overbearing, protective attitude when Aiden was an Alpha but now he's an Omega. And I can easily kick his ass if he annoys me."

"We know that." Scott assured me softly with a smile on his face as he walked forward to place an arm around my shoulders and the other two made noises of agreement as my brother started leading me towards the car park of the animal clinic. "But you're my sister and I love you. Plus, you're pack and that means we're all going to be, how did you put it? 'Overbearing and protective'?"

"Oh, so I have this to look forward to the rest of my life?" I asked him sarcastically as I raised an eyebrow at him but a small smile played on my lips and he grinned at me happily with a sharp nod as he squeezed me closer to his side.

"Yep. For the rest of your life." Stiles agreed firmly with a crooked smile as he appeared on my other side and slid his arm around my waist as he pressed a brotherly kiss to my temple.

"Are you happy you have us?" Isaac asked me teasingly as he strolled in front of us and started walking backwards so that I could see the wide grin on his lips.

"Okay, we need to get a move on." I told them sternly as I rolled my eyes at them all with a fond smile and they groaned collectively as we approached Scott's motorbike, my Camaro and Stiles' jeep. "Isaac, take the vials to Allison's and fill her in on what's going on."

"On it, boss." He said with a mock serious face as he saluted me and I smiled back sarcastically as we stopped next to my car before he took off down the road. I turned back to face my brother and friend as I pointed a finger in between them and they mockingly stood up straight like soldiers as awaited their orders.

"You two, come with me. Scott's going to get Alpha lessons."

"Ma'am, yes, ma'am." they coursed in unison as I opened the driver side door to my Camaro and slid inside before slamming the door on their laughter. I stuck my tongue out at them through the window as I revved the engine and I smirked at them as they jumped back from the car. I drove out of the car park quickly as they scrambled to their respective vehicles and I turned the radio on so that it blasted out Clarity by Foxes as I drove the familiar route to Derek's loft. I tapped the rhythm out on the steering wheel as I pulled into the car park next to Stiles jeep and I wondered how the hell he got there before me as Scott parked next to me on his motorbike. I climbed out of my car as the boys walked towards the staircase that led inside and we walked in silence to the front door of Derek's loft. Stiles opened the heavy metal sliding door to the loft as I strolled into the room in front of them with my hands on my hips and looked around for the twins as I walked further into the room with Stiles.

"They said they'd meet us here." I told them slowly with a frown as I looked around the empty loft that I hadn't been in since that night with Jennifer and I felt a chill run down my spine at the memory of that night. I heard the sound of bones cracking behind me and I spun around in surprise to see Aiden and Ethan standing on either side of Scott. Aiden aimed a punch straight at my brother's face that sent him tumbling down the stairs and I winced in sympathy as I grabbed onto Stiles arm when he went to help his friend. the twins both grinned at each other at the top of the stairs as Scott rolled onto his back with a groan and I pulled Stiles to the side so that he wouldn't be hurt during the fight. Aiden looked over at me with a cocky smirk on his lips as he winked and I couldn't help the small smile that spread across my lips as he showed off by flipping off the stairs while Ethan walked down. Scott climbed to his feet as Aiden punched him square in the face and I grimaced slightly as the twins took turns pummelling him.

"I thought you guys were gonna teach me to roar." Scott stated weakly as he laid sprawled on the floor with blood seeping from his cut lip and I tensed with the need to run over to help him as Stiles grabbed my arm gently.

"We are. You do it by giving in." Aiden explained to him impatiently as he wiped the blood on his knuckles onto his shirt and I bit my lip hard to remind myself not to intervene.

"Giving in and letting go. That's how Deucalion taught us control." Ethan added in a calm voice as he crouched down next to Scott and grabbed him by the front of the shirt as he pulled my brother to his feet.

"Hey, you know, that's funny. I've actually tried something like this one time using a heart monitor and lacrosse balls. But you're right, beating the living crap out of him is probably a lot better." Stiles called out to them with a slight amount of sarcasm and they all looked over at him like he was crazy as he stepped back next to me.

"That's what you were doing that day?" I asked him in amusement as I crossed my arms over my chest and he hummed affirmatively as he nodded at me with a smirk.

"That's actually the plan? You kick my ass?" Scott asked the twins in disbelief as he wiped the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand and Aiden rolled his chocolate brown eyes as he looked at him in annoyance.

"You're afraid to turn. We're gonna make you." Aiden told him firmly as he walked backwards a few feet and I bit the inside of my cheek until I tasted blood in my mouth.

"You turn. Then you kick our asses." Ethan said with a smirk as he quirked an eyebrow at my brother and Stiles must have sensed my anxiousness because he slipped his hand into mine to comfort me.

"And then you roar." Aiden said as he let his werewolf features come out including his bright blue eyes and the whole loft echoed slightly as he roared loudly enough to make the glass in the window shake. I mouthed the word 'wow' as I looked around the room with an impressed purse of my lips and Aiden grinned arrogantly over in my direction as he walked towards my brother. "You don't think you can let go with us?"

"You think you're going to hurt us?"

"Come on, McCall. Give it your all."

"We can always heal." Ethan taunted Scott as he pushed him towards his twin and Aiden punched him in the face with a smirk before shoving him back at Ethan. Scott tried to punch Ethan in the face but the Omega twisted his arm back and tossed him towards Aiden who punched him in the face.

"You're an Alpha. You want to roar like one, you've got to give in full throttle. You've got to be the monster. Become the beast." Aiden told him sternly as he repeatedly punched Scott in the stomach with each sentence and I grimaced at the scene as I squeezed Stiles hand gently.

"Become everything you're afraid of. That's what gives you power. It gives you strength."

"Giving into it doesn't make you the bad guy."

"So long as you can control it." Ethan said firmly as he gave a pointed look to his brother and Aiden just grinned back at him as he elbowed Scott in the back.

"Sometimes control's a little overrated."

"Come on, Scott. Fight back." I murmured under my breath as I brought my free hand up to my cheek with a grimace and Scott spat out some blood as he sat up on his knees with a pained expression.

"What if I can't control it? What if I can't turn back?" Scott asked them in a strained voice as he looked down at the ground and I frowned in sympathy for my brother as he looked up at the twins expectantly.

"Then it takes over. You become Malia. You get further and further away from being human. You turn into an animal. Or worse." Ethan told him as though it was obvious as he walked closer to him and crossed his arms over his chest as he raised both of his eyebrows.

"You turn into Peter." Aiden finished for his brother with a smirk as he tilted his head to the side and I immediately straightened up as I dropped my arms to my sides.

"Hey!" I exclaimed indignantly as I scowled at them even though I knew that Peter wasn't the most lovable guy on the planet and Aiden turned to look at me with his arms held out to his sides in innocence.

"What? Babe, you know it's true!"

"Says the guy who was in a pack with the guy who calls him Death, Destroyer of Worlds!" I called back in amusement as I placed my hands on my hips and he smirked at me with warm chocolate brown eyes. Scott took advantage of Aiden's distraction as he launched himself at the Omega's back but Aiden quickly spun round as he flipped Scott up onto the table next to them by throat. I turned my head away from them as Aiden punched Scott in the face multiple times in a row and I heard my brother groan in pain with each blow as I bit down on the inside of my cheek with my eyes closed. it was killing me having to listen to my brother in pain as I did nothing to help him and I curled my hands into fists at my side as my nails broke the skin. I shook my head to myself as I turned back around with a new wave of determination and I marched over to the table as I concentrated on making the air in between Aiden and Scott incredibly thick. Aiden's hand froze mid-air as he went to punch Scott's face once more and he looked over at me in surprise as I stopped at the edge of the table next to Ethan with a blank expression.

"What? I thought we were helping him." Aiden defended himself as he stood up on top of the table and looked down at me with an easy smile on his lips.

"You help too much." I told him with a quirked eyebrow as he jumped down from the table and landed right next to me on the ground with a smirk. I pushed on his chest gently as I stepped closer to the table with a small frown and I saw my brother with blood covering his lips as his head lolled to the side. I grimaced in sympathy as I placed a hand on his cheek and closed my eyes as I concentrated on speeding up his healing process.

"Careful. Don't take too much." Aiden advised me softly as he stepped closer to my side and I felt him gently brush a fell strand of hair behind my ear as I removed my hand from Scott's skin.

I was sitting in my Camaro at the preserve entrance waiting for everyone else as I tapped my finger absently on the steering wheel because I had gone home to change into a Snake Arrow Tank, Mos Mosh LAURA Cargo trousers and ONLY Short Pu-Jacket with Madden Girl Gamer Combat Boots. I heard the sound of cars approaching as I climbed out of the car and Stiles' jeep, Scott's motorbike and Allison's car all arrived at the same time. I crossed my arms over my chest as Stiles, Scott, Allison, Isaac and Lydia all walked over to where I was waiting for them.

"Anyone else think we might be doing more harm than good?" Lydia asked the group as she folded her arms over her stomach with an apprehensive frown and I smiled at Isaac as he moved to stand next to me against the hood of my car.

"We're trying to keep a father from killing his own daughter." Scott reminded her gently as he looked over at her and she nodded reluctantly as she smiled slightly at him.

"Actually, we're trying to keep a guy from killing a coyote who is actually his daughter, who we don't know how to change from a coyote back to his daughter." Isaac pointed out drily as he crossed his arms over his chest and I chuckled softly at the comment as Scott closed his eyes in frustration over the situation.

"And again with the not helping." Stiles called out from the other side of the clearing and Isaac smiled back at him sarcastically as I linked my arm through his to keep him calm.

"Did you bring it?" Scott asked Allison gently as he looked over at his ex-girlfriend and she nodded sharply as she walked over to the boot of her car.

"Can you do this, Allie? I can always take the shot." I told her in French so that everyone other than Lydia and Allison didn't know what I was saying and she picked up the tranquiliser gun from the boot of her car as she turned back to look at me with a small smile.

"I can do it." she replied in French as she held the gun in her hands with a confident expression and I nodded back at her with a proud smile on my lips. the sound of a rifle firing echoed through the forest around us and Scott, Isaac and I all snapped our heads in the direction it had come from as the other's looked at us in question.

"We gotta go. Isaac, Allison, go left on the hiking trails. Sophie and I are taking my bike on the tracks. Stiles, Lydia, stay here." Scott ordered us in an stern tone as he pointed at each person he spoke about and we all nodded in agreement as I headed towards Scott's motorbike with him. Scott and I both climbed onto the back of his motorbike and were soon driving as fast as possible down the trail in the middle of the forest. We had been a few minutes when a loud yell echoed through the preserve and I immediately knew that it was Isaac that caused the painful cry. Scott clutched his head with one hand as he groaned in pain and the bike swerved out of control as it fell to the ground. I let out a strangled cry of surprise as I somersaulted to the side of the trail and I cracked my head on the ground because I wasn't wearing a helmet but thankfully I wasn't too badly hurt. I pressed one hand to my bleeding forehead as I winced in pain and sat up slowly as I gritted my teeth against the pain.

"Scott?" I asked weakly as I looked around the trail for my brother but I couldn't see him anywhere and I groaned in annoyance as I climbed to my feet. "Scott!" I shouted out into the forest as I brushed my hair out of my face and I sniffed the air delicately for his scent as I started walking in the direction he had gone. I internally berated my brother for not waiting for me as I started running into the forest and I could feel my cuts healing as I sprinted through the trees. My phone started ringing in my jackets inside pocket so I slowed down as I reached for it and I frowned at the sight of Stiles name on the caller ID as I held the phone to my ear. "It's not really a good time, Stiles."

"Sophie. Sophie, listen, it wasn't Malia's doll. It was her sister's. Malia left it at the car for her sister. It's like bringing flowers to a grave. Okay, and we stole the flowers. So, that's all she's trying to do, right. Bring the doll back to the grave, to the car wreck. That's where she's headed. The car wreck." Stiles rambled hurriedly as I started walking and I breathed out a relief laugh as I ran a hand through my hair.

"Stiles, I love you. Thank you." I told him honestly with a sigh as I hung up the phone and started running in the direction of the Tate car wreck. I broke into out of the tree line near the wreak as I saw Scott jumping across the small ravine that the car had crashed into and he landed in a crouch with his werewolf features prominent as he looked at Malia's coyote form. Scott let out a loud roar that echoed through the trees and I gasped slightly when I felt my eyes change colour as every fibre of my being was telling me to find my Alpha. The coyote's eyes started glowing a vibrant blue as she collapsed onto the ground and I slowly walked forward with wide eyes as she shifted back into a pretty human girl. I walked over to stand next to Scott as he changed back to normal and I took in Malia's tangled messed up brown hair as she looked around with wide confused brown eyes. "Scott, give me your jacket."

"What?" he asked me in confusion as he took his eyes off the girl to look at me and I rolled my eyes at him as I ripped his jacket off of his shoulders. I slowly walked towards where Malia was sprawled on the ground naked and she snapped her head up to look at me with wide eyes when I accidently stepped on a stick.

"Malia?" I asked softly as I held up a hand to show her that I wasn't a threat and her lips quivered as she let out a small whimper while sitting up slowly. "It's going to be okay. I'm Sophie. I'm just going to help you with the coat, okay? Can you talk to me? I know it's been a while since you spoke."

"I'm – I'm okay. I – I can talk." Malia muttered in a raspy voice as she nodded her head slowly and I smiled at her comfortingly as I nodded back at her slightly. I crouched down next to her as I held up Scott's jacket and she moved so her back was towards me as I helped slide her arms into the arms of the jacket.

"There we go." I whispered quietly as I rubbed my hands up and down her arms her keep her warm since she was still naked and she let out a small sob as she slowly turned around to face me. tears were streaming down her dirty cheeks as she wrapped her arms around herself and I felt my heart break for the girl as I wrapped my arms around her tightly. Malia broke down crying in my arms as she clung to me as though I would disappear the second she let go of me and I glanced over my shoulder at morose looking Scott as I mouthed for him to call the sheriff. He nodded back at me in understanding as I picked a leaf out of Malia's hair and shifted slightly so that I was more comfortable holding the sobbing girl in my arms as I tried not to cry along with her.
