"I can't believe you're letting me drive your car." Isaac exclaimed happily with a grin as he bounced slightly in the driver's seat of my Camaro and I shot him an amused look as I flipped the overhead mirror down. I had rushed to get dressed into an Alice + Olivia Porla Collared Sweater, Alice+Olivia Tweed Pleated Skirt and Pleaser Sophisticated Black Satin Concealed Platform shoes with my hair in a French twist.

"Well, thanks to someone I shall not name, I didn't get to sleep until 3am and overslept this morning so I didn't get to do my make up." I replied with a pointed look in his direction as I narrowed my eyes playfully and he rolled his steely blue eyes at me as he glanced over at me.

"Don't pretend you didn't want to see end of that movie!"

"I'm a girl. It's not embarrassing for me to watch the movie." I countered with a sly grin as I pulled my makeup kit out of my bag and grabbed the tube of lip-gloss from the top of the pile.

"Hey! Clueless is a classic, okay? There's nothing wrong with wanting to expand my cinematic knowledge!" he argued firmly as he looked back out the windshield and I scoffed out a laugh as I applied the lip-gloss expertly.

"Next time I'm choosing the movie. Be prepared sit through hours of sparkly vampires." I warned him jokingly with a smirk on my lips as I reached for the mascara and Isaac gaped in horror as he looked over at me with wide eyes. "Or maybe some 'classic' like High School Musical."

"Please tell me you're kidding."

"I don't know. Sounds like a fun night to me." I said in mock excitement as I applied my mascara with a smile and he groaned in dismay as he scowled at me playfully. I laughed at his disgruntled expression as he pulled into the high school parking lot and he cracked a smile with a chuckle as he parked the car at the front of the school in my usual spot. I frowned slightly when I saw two familiar motorbikes parked next to Scott's and I leaned forward anxiously to see my brother standing with Aiden and Ethan. "Oh, crap."

"What?" Isaac asked in concern as he leaned forward to see where I was looking and I sighed in frustration as I started listening on their conversation while collecting my make-up.

"You're back in school?" I heard Scott ask the twins curiously as he tilted his head to the side slightly and the twins looked at each other before looking back at my brother.

"No, just to talk." Ethan corrected him with a shake of his head as he crossed his arms over his chest and I bit my lip nervously as I sat back in my seat to watch the scene unfold in case I needed to step in.

"Oh. That's kind of a change of pace for you guys. Usually, you're just hurting, maiming, and killing." Stiles said sarcastically as he walked up to the small group with a tight smile and the twins looked over at him in annoyance before turning back to Scott.

"You need a pack. We need an Alpha." Aiden told my brother bluntly as he crossed his arms over his chest and Stiles huffed out a disbelieving laugh as he shook his head at them.

"Yeah. Absolutely not. That's hilarious though."

"You came to us for help. We helped."

"You beat his face into a bloody pulp. That's not helping. In my opinion, that's actually counter-productive."

"Why would I say yes?" Scott asked the twins curiously as he placed a hand on Stiles shoulder to stop him from saying anything sarcastic and I gave Isaac a pointed look as we both exited the car at the same time.

"We'd add strength. We'd make you more powerful. There's no reason to say no." Ethan answered for both of them as Isaac met me at the front of the car and he grabbed my hand as we walked over to the assembled group.

"I can think of one. Like the two of you holding Derek's claws while Kali impaled Boyd." Isaac said pointedly as he glared at the twins with narrowed steely blue eyes and I squeezed his hand gently in warning as I ignored Aiden's gaze burning into my skin. "In fact, I don't know why we're not impaling them right now."

"You want to try?" Aiden taunted him as he flashed his bright blue eyes at him threateningly and Isaac smirked back at him as he stepped forward but Scott wrapped a restraining hand around his wrist to stop him. I rolled my eyes at their confrontation as I crossed my arms over my chest and glanced around to make sure no one had noticed Aiden's eyes change colour as they morphed back to their natural chocolate brown.

" Sorry, but they don't trust you. And neither do I." Scott told the twins honestly as he shook his head slightly and then pushed past them as he walked towards the school with Stiles right next to him. Isaac smirked at the twins as he walked passed them and I heard them sigh in defeat as I started following after my pack mates but Aiden's hand shot out to grab my arm. I stopped in my tracks with an annoyed huff as I glanced down at his hand before looking up at his handsome face with a quirked eyebrow and he smirked at me as he tugged me towards him slightly. I hadn't seen him in a few weeks but it seemed that the absence of his presence hadn't done anything to stop the instantaneous butterflies that filled my stomach at his mere touch.

"I'm calling in my favour." He told me with a smirk as he pulled me closer to him so that our chests were brushing against each other and I hummed in the back of my throat as I seductively ran the hand he wasn't holding up his muscular chest.

"You wanna try that thing we talked about the other day, don't you?" I said knowingly with a smirk on my lips as I leaned closer to him and he chuckled lowly with a small genuine smile as Ethan made a disgusted noise behind us.

"No. Well, yes, but that's not the favour."

"What is it then?" I asked him curiously as I tried to keep the disappointment from seeping into my voice and he gave me a pointed look as he ran his thumb over the inside of my wrist. I tilted my head to the side in suspicion until realisation hit me and I pulled away from him slightly with a small gasp escaping my lips. "No. Nope. Can't do it. I'm not going to make Scott let you and Ethan into the pack. And before you ask, I'm not going make him let just you in either."

"Not make him. Just put in a good word for us. That's all, I swear." He said honestly as he pulled me back into his chest and I let out a small groan as I leaned my head back with a pout.

"Urgh. Fine. But then we're even."

"Deal. Now, about that thing we talked about –."

"It's not going to happen, Aiden." I interrupted sternly as I shook my head at him in amusement and I stepped backwards out of his arms as he reached out to grab my wrist before I could move away from him.

"But – ."

"No."

"Sophie – ."

"No."

"You were going to – ."

"No." I stated bluntly as I plied his hand off my wrist with a smirk and he made a face as I waved my fingers mockingly at them before walking towards the school. I could hear Ethan's laughter behind me as his brother hissed at him to shut up and I giggled to myself as I entered the crowded school hallway. I saw my brother and Stiles standing near the entrance as other students threw toilet paper rolls and I walked over to them with a smile as they turned to me with matching smirks on their faces. "Shut up."

"We didn't say anything." They denied in unison as we fell into step walking down the hallway with Scott in the middle of us and I rolled my eyes at them as I linked my arm through the crook of my brother's elbow.

"Hey, dude, good decision, buddy. Good Alpha decision." Stiles complimented his friend as he patted both of his shoulders and Scott looked over at him with a slightly apprehensive expression on his face.

"Um, no. It was a bad Alpha decision, actually." I corrected him honestly as I quirked an eyebrow at the human and they both looked over at me in surprise as Stiles frowned at me incredulously.

"What!? You think he should have let them into the pack?!"

"I think you need at least three Betas' and you're two down." I said to the Alpha pointedly with a small purse of my lips and he blinked at me uncomprehendingly for a second before sighing heavily.

"One down. He has you and Isaac."

"Don't insult me. I'm not a Beta. I'm an emissary. When you guys performed the sacrifice it gave power back to the Nemeton and now supernatural creatures, both good and bad, are going to be drawn here to Beacon Hills. It's literally a beacon for the supernatural. We need to be at our strongest and for that to happen, you need more numbers and since I assume you're not going to give anyone the bite, you need the twins. Think about it, Scott."

"I don't trust them. And neither does anyone else. What do you suggest?" Scott asked me genuinely with a frown as we stopped next to Stiles locker and he leaned his shoulder against the metal as Stiles opened up his locker door.

"Probation. Let them help out and prove to you that they can be trusted."

"Fine. But I don't want anything to do with them until they've proven their loyalty so everything goes through you." He told me firmly as he pointed a finger at me and I grinned back at him as I nodded in agreement. He sent me a small smile as he rolled his eyes at me and I leaned my back against the row of lockers on the other side of Stiles with my arms crossed over my stomach. Scott bit down on his lower lip as he gazed absently down the hallway and I followed his gaze down the hallway to where Kira was placing her books into her locker.

"What are you looking at?" Stiles asked his friend in curiosity with a frown as he turned his head to see what had caught Scott's attention and Scott snapped his head back around as he pointed a finger at himself in question.

"Me?"

"You. You looking at her?"

"Her? Who her?"

"Her her, Kira. You like her?"

"No. I mean Yeah, yeah, she's okay. She's new." Scott said sheepishly as he looked down at his feet with a small smile and I scoffed out a laugh as I pushed myself off of the lockers behind me.

"How romantic. I think you just wrote your wedding vows." I muttered sarcastically with an amused smirk on my lips and my brother chuckled softly in embarrassment as he nudged my shoulder gently. "So, ask her out."

"Now?"

"Yes, now." Stiles told him with a roll of his eyes as he slammed his locker shut and Scott's dark brown eyes widened slightly with panic as he glanced at Kira's retreating back.

"Right now?"

"Right now. Scott, I don't think you get it yet. You're an Alpha. You're the apex predator. Everyone wants you. You're like the hot girl that every guy wants." Stiles exclaimed excitedly as he started walking down the hallway and we followed after him as I bit down on my lower lip to stop from laughing at his expression.

"The hot girl?" Scott asked him incredulously as he fidgeted with the straps of his backpack and Stiles stopped abruptly in the middle of the hallway as he spun around to hit Scott's chest with the back of his hand.

"You are the hottest girl." He assured my brother calmly as he pointed at him with a smile and started walking backwards towards the classroom as a wide grin spread across Scott's face. I felt someone wrap an arm around my waist from behind and I turned my head to see Isaac watching the two of them in confusion as Stiles disappeared into the classroom.

"I'm the hot girl."

"Yes, you are." Isaac agreed wholeheartedly with a serious expression even though he had no idea what they were talking about and Scott laughed at him as he walked pass us into the classroom after his best friend. "What just happened?"

"Scott stole my title." I explained with a playful pout on my lips as I grabbed Isaac's hand and started dragging him towards class as he laughed at my offended expression.

I was standing at my locker after class as I placed my books inside and I suddenly felt familiar presence next to me. A small smile spread across my lips as I bit my lower lip and I shook my head to myself as I forced a blank expression onto my face. I closed the door to my locker as I turned my head to look at the intruder and Aiden smirked at me as he leaned his shoulder against the metal locker next to mine.

"Oh, no. I don't think so. There's no way you come back here after two weeks of nothing, with your cute little smile, the dark eyes, the brooding forehead, the muscles – ooh, the muscles." I cooed slightly as I raised my hand to rest on his chest with a small pout on my lips and he looked down at my hand with a raised eyebrow before I shook my head to myself as I dropped my hand back down to my side. "– and suddenly we're ripping each other's clothes off in Coach's office. No way. It's not gonna happen."

"Sophie…" he whispered my name huskily as he stepped forward with heated chocolate brown eyes and he placed a gently hand just above my hip bone as I tensed at his touch with narrowed eyes. I raked my gaze down his muscular body hungrily as I bit the inside of my cheek to try and stop myself from giving in but the urge to rip his clothes off was stronger than my resolve. I turned on my heel as I held my head up high and I started striding down the emptying hallway in the direction of the coaches office as his footsteps hurried to catch up to me. Nearly everyone was in class by the time I reached the hallway where Coach's office was and I felt butterflies of anticipation in my stomach as I came in sight of the office door. A genuine smile spread across my lips as I felt Aiden grab my wrist in his hand and spin me around so fast that I nearly toppled over in my heels but he steadied me by wrapping an arm around my back. I giggled in surprise as he pressed me against his chest with a smile on his lips and I cupped his neck with my hand as I brought his lips down to meet mine eagerly. Our lips moved together as he tightened his hold on my waist and I slipped my arms up to wrap around his neck as my finger tangled in his sandy brown hair. One of Aiden's hands fumbled behind us for the door handle as we moved backwards without breaking the kiss and the door swung open as we stumbled into the room still locked in our embrace. I moaned into his mouth as he lifted me so my feet came off the ground and he pulled back slightly to look at me with a small smile as our laboured breath mixed together. His chocolate brown eyes drifted over my shoulder in confusion as he slowly lowered me to the ground and I frowned at him before following his gaze to the broken desk in the middle of the room as my arms dropped from his shoulders.

"What the hell? Oh, I'm looking to kill them."

"Scott and Stiles?"

"Yeah, they play a prank on Coach every year for his birthday."

"Guidance office?" Aiden asked me eagerly with a grin on his lips as he turned to look at me and I smiled back at him as I grabbed his hand before leading him out of the office. We rushed next to door to the guidance office hand in hand and I opened the door with a giggle as Aiden peppered small kisses to the back of my neck. His hand grasped my hip gently as we stumbled into the empty office and I gasped in pleasure as he sucked on the side of my neck hard enough to leave a mark.

"You know that's going to heal, right?" I teased him playfully as he soothed the skin with his skilled tongue and he groaned in disappointment against my skin as he wrapped his other arm around my waist.

"I'll just have to give you lots of them then, wont I? But, uh, there's just one problem." He told me in amusement as he spun me around to face him and I hummed in acknowledgement as I wrapped my arms around his neck with a small quick of my lips. "You are far too clothed."

"Ooh. We'll have to fix that."

"Yes, we will." He agreed softly with a smile as he leaned down to press a gentle kiss to my lips and I smiled against him as his hands found the bottom of my sweater. I sucked his lower lip in between my teeth as he pulled away from the kiss with a groan and he slowly pulled my shirt off over my head as his hand grazed my shoulder making me shudder slightly. Aiden gazed down at my black lace bra with lust swirling in his chocolate brown eyes as he placed his hands on my hips and I pulled his lips down to meet mine eagerly as I automatically closed my eyes on instinct. He walked us backwards until I hit the desk behind me as I opened my mouth to allow him access and our tongues tangled together in a fight of dominance as his hands lowered down to my thighs. I gasped in surprise as he lifted my up onto the edge of the desk making me break the kiss and his hands slipped down to rest on my hips with a wicked grin as he dug his fingers into my skin roughly. I moaned in the back of my throat as he placed a line of wet opened mouth kisses down my jawline and he gripped my hips harder as I ran my fingers up into his light brown hair. I was breathing heavily as I titled my head to the side give him better access to my skin and he gently bit the sensitive skin under my jaw as I gasped lightly in pleasure. I reached down to the hem of Aiden's green t-shirt blindly as I moaned in pleasure and he slowly eased away from my throat to lean back as he easily ripped the shirt off over his head. My hands instantly ran up his muscular chest as he smirked at me seductively before lowering his lips back down to skin and he grinned against my skin as his teeth grazed the base of my neck. I shivered in bliss as his teeth gently pressed into my skin without breaking it and I felt my whole body shutter underneath him as he sucked hard enough to leave a mark on the skin above my collarbone. I giggled softly as he soothed the bruised skin with his tongue before he pressed a lingering kiss to the mark and lifted his head up with a proud grin on his lips to look at his handiwork.

"Aiden… what are you even doing at school?" I asked him breathlessly as I scooted forwards on the desk to wrap my legs around his hips and he reached up to brush a stray strand of my hair off of my forehead with one hand as he offered me a small genuine smile.

"Ethan and I re-enrolled. We're coming back full time."

"This is about getting Scott to let you in the pack? Because I may have gotten you a chance to prove you're trust."

"And how did you do that?"

"I'm Sophie." I stated plainly as though it was obvious with a small tilt of my head and he laughed loudly at my proclamation as I smiled at the sight of him so carefree. Aiden smiled at me softly as he reached up to take out my straightened brunette hair so that it fell down around my shoulders and I cupped his neck with a smile as he leaned forward to meet my lips eagerly. My lips instantly melded against his passionately as he wove his hands into my long brunette hair and I reached my hands on his chest as ours tongues tangled together in a brief fight for dominance until he got the upper hand of the situation. My hands ran up his muscular body teasingly as I wrapped my arms around his neck he slipped his hands down to my thighs as he lifted me up so that I wasn't on the desk with my legs still wrapped around his waist. I heard the door open abruptly behind us and we both froze in shock as Aiden slowly lowered me to the ground. "Please, tell that it's Lydia or Allison." I pleaded quietly as I rested my forehead on Aiden's shoulder with my eyes tightly shut and he squeezed my hip reassuringly as he reached over to grab my shirt from the desk.

"Nope. Just me. Isaac." I heard Isaac correct me sheepishly from the doorway and I sighed in relief as I picked my head up from Aiden's shoulder.

"Oh, that's okay then. You've seen me shirtless." I said calmly as I took the sweater from Aiden's hand and quickly threw it on over my head as Aiden did the same. I straightened the shirt as I turned around to face a blushing Isaac in the doorway and I cleared my throat to get his attention with my hands on my lips. "What do you want, Isaac?"

"Stiles told Lydia to tell Allison who told me to come and find you." He explained in rush as he looked over at me with earnest steely blue eyes and I blinked at him uncomprehendingly as I tried to make sense of what he'd just said.

"Do you know what's going on?"

"Yeah, William Barrow, the shrapnel bomber, escaped hospital during surgery and is in the school. Apparently, he went after the teenagers on the bus because they had glowing eyes and we all have glowing eyes, so we're freaking out. Oh, and Lydia says she can hear flies."

"What do flies have to do with anything?" Aiden asked him in confusion as he stepped up next to me with his arms crossed over his chest and Isaac glanced at him dismissively before looking back at me with a frown.

"When they opened him up, they found a tumour full of live flies, which in any other circumstance would be all kinds of awesome."

"So, we are going to search the school for a serial killer that's targeting werewolves?" I asked him nonchalantly like we dealt with something like this every day and Isaac nodded his head in answer as I sighed heavily with an exasperated eye roll. "Okay."

"Let's go. Scott's getting Barrow's clothes from your mom." Isaac told me as he walked out of the guidance office and I started following after him but Aiden grabbed my elbow to stop me.

"Hey, wait. Let me call Ethan and we'll help you." Aiden said softly as he tugged me towards him gently and I bit my lower lip as I nodded hesitantly in agreement. He offered me a small smile as he leaned down to kiss the corner of my mouth and it was so different than our normal kisses that I felt my eyes go wide in shock. We'd never kissed just for the sack of kissing because they were normally rushed or passionate and not sweet little gestures of affection.

"We need to go." I said abruptly as I turned on my heel and hurried out of the room without looking back over my shoulder because I was internally freaking out over what had just happened. Isaac was waiting for me at the end of the hallway and gave me a questioning look as I joined him but I just shook my head at him. He shrugged his shoulders carelessly as he draped an arm around my shoulders and he started leading me down the hallway to where I assumed Scott was waiting for us.

"So, uh, what was going on back there?" Isaac asked me curiously with a hint of disapproval in his voice and I immediately knew that he was talking about whatever had me freaked out when I came out of the office.

"Isaac! You want the all the dirty details?" I asked him innocently with a smirk on my lips as I looked up at him and he rolled his steely blue eyes at me as he bumped my shoulder. Thankfully, we saw Scott waiting down at the end of the hallway so he didn't question me anymore and I sighed internally in relief because if I didn't want to think about it at the moment. "Hey, Scott. I have Aiden and Ethan meeting us here in a minute."

"Good. That's good. We need as many wolves as possible helping find this guy. I take it Isaac filled you in?" Scott asked me quickly as we jogged up to him near the entrance to the basement and I nodded in answer to his question as the twins came around the corner. I steadily avoided Aiden's eyes as I shifted on my feet and they approached us as Scott nodded in greeting to them. "Lydia thinks that Barrow's still here even though the cops searched the whole school. But they didn't have one thing, our sense of smell. He's probably in the basement, so that's where we'll start. Isaac, come with me. Sophie, go with the twins. We'll meet up in the middle at the boiler room."

"Okay." We all agreed with him as he handed around a t-shirt that I assumed was Barrow's and we all sniffed it with our enhanced sense of smell. Aiden, Ethan and I headed to the left side of the basement as we tried to catch a trace of Barrow's scent in the darkened halls underneath the school. When we reached the bottom of the stairs, I slipped out of my high heels so that they didn't make noise when we were searching and ignored the confused looks the twins were giving me as I set them down near the bottom of the stairs. We were all trying to walk as quietly as possible down the east hallway of the basement with Ethan in the lead when he suddenly stopped with a frown on his lips and Aiden grabbed my hand as he pulled me towards his brother with a concerned expression.

"You got something?" Aiden asked nearly inaudibly as we came to a stop near the corner and Ethan held up a hand to silence him as we crept forward. Ethan surged around the corner as Aiden and I followed his lead and I stifled a laugh when I saw Danny and his ex-boyfriend Sean making out up against the concrete wall. They both jumped in surprise when we appeared at the end of the hall and Aiden stifled his laughter with his fist as Ethan stared at them with a disbelieving expression.

"Oh, really?" Ethan asked in a choked voice as Danny looked at the ground sheepishly and Sean glanced away from us in embarrassment. I turned my face into Aiden's shoulder to muffle my laughter as he wrapped his arm around me and hid slightly behind me to smother his own laughter.

"Okay. Um, Ethan? We have things to do." I reminded him gently as I touched his arm and he looked over at me blankly as he nodded once. I watched his retreating back as he stalked back down the hallway that we came down and Aiden followed after him as I turned back to Danny with a quirked eyebrow. He opened his mouth to defend himself as he stepped forward but I just held up my hands in mock surrender as I started walking backwards and I mimed wiping my hands clean of the situation with a smirk as I turned around. I met back up with the twins at the end of the hallway where Ethan had his arms crossed over his chest with a serious expression and Aiden had his lips pressed together in a tight line like he was trying not to laugh at his brother's misfortune. I let out a startled gasp as I reached up to clasp my hands over my ears against the blaring fire alarm and the twins both cringed as they shared a confused glance. I realised that something must have been wrong so I immediately turned on my heel and started running towards the stairs that lead back up to the main level of the school. I could hear the twins running after me as I reached the stairs and grabbed my shoes without stopping. I saw the back of Stiles head out the window as I ran towards the exit and I slowed down to a jog as the twins caught up to me. Scott, Isaac, Lydia and Stiles had formed a small circle outside the front of the school and we walked over to them as they noticed us approaching.

"We didn't find anything." I informed them helplessly as I shook my head slightly and we all looked grim at the news as Scott nodded in agreement. "Not even a scent."

"It's 3:00, so school's over. If there was a bomb, wouldn't he have set it off by now?" Stiles asked rhetorically as he looked up at school building behind us and I bit down on my lower lip nervously as I folded my arm over my stomach.

"Does that mean everybody's safe?" Ethan asked curiously as we all looked over at Lydia for an answer and I could see the honest confusion in her pretty green eyes as she meet my gaze across the group.

"I don't know. I just I don't know." Lydia said softly as she shook her head slightly with a helpless frown and I knew how much it was bothering her that she couldn't be more help.

"Okay, well, someone call me when you work it out." I said with a small sigh as I started walking backwards from the group and they looked over at me in confusion as I grabbed Aiden's hand on the way past him.

"Where are you going?" Scott asked me curiously with a frown marring his face and I gave him a tight smile as I continued to pull Aiden backwards with me.

"Oh, um, we just survived a serial killer trying to blow up the school so Aiden and I are going to celebrate being alive by having sex. Bye!"

Lydia: Can you meet me and Stiles at the school?

Me: On my way.

Me: Why are you with Stiles?

Lydia: We were trying to find a clue about Barrow.

Me: In his bedroom? Alone?

I read over the text message as I hurried down the empty hallway later that night and I followed Lydia's familiar floral scent into the chemistry labs. I caught sight of the strawberry blonde as she entered one of the chemistry labs and I hurried after her as she turned around to smile at me.

"Hey, what'd I miss?" I asked her as we entered the room where Stiles was looking around like a detective without a magnifying glass and he snapped his head around at the sound of my voice as jumped in fright.

"Oh, god! Don't do that, Soph!" Stiles scolded me in a whisper as he scowled over at me and I rolled my eyes at his dramatics as I slipped my hand into Lydia's.

"So what are we looking for?"

"That was supposed to be locked." Lydia pointed out bluntly as Stiles opened up the chemistry room storage closest and we hastily followed him into the small room filled with chemicals.

"Yeah. I know. Notice anything else?" Stiles asked us in a rush as the smell of the chemicals started making me eyes water slightly and I covered my nose with my hand to try to block out the strong smell.

"It smells like chemicals. We wouldn't have been able to catch his scent." I murmured in realisation as Stiles crouched down to the ground with a frown and I followed his gaze to a pile of staples surrounded by drops of scarlet red blood.

"He was here, performing very minor surgery on himself. You were right, Lydia."

"Then why don't I feel good about this?" Lydia whispered softly as she squeezed my hand tightly with a small frown and I rubbed her arm soothingly with my other hand as she swallowed roughly.

"Probably because he was here to kill somebody."

"But who?"

"That's what we gotta figure out. We could spread out, start looking for anything." I ordered them sternly as I pulled Lydia out of the storage closet and she nodded in understanding as Stiles followed us out into the main classroom. I let go of Lydia's hand as the three of us started searching the room for anything that could lead us to whom Barrow was after or where he was now.

"Lydia, what are those?" I heard Stiles ask as I slammed closed a cabinet at the back of the room and I turned around to see Lydia standing in front of the blackboard.

"Atomic numbers." She answered him nonchalantly as she tilted her head to the side and I walked forward with a frown as I read the numbers 19, 53 and 88 written on the board.

"Is it a formula?"

"Not really. 19's Potassium. 53's Iodine and 88's Radium. The first two make potassium iodide." I explained to Stiles as I stood on the other side of the teacher's desk and Stiles stepped up to stand next to me as Lydia wrote a 'K' next to the number 19 in chalk.

"Potassium is K?"

"From kalium, the scientific neo-Latin name. 53 is Iodine, which is 'I'."

"What's radium?"

"R-A." Lydia told him softly as she wrote an 'I' on the board in chalk next to the corresponding number and then a 'Ra' next to the number 88.

"Kira." I whispered in shock as I stared at the name Lydia had written on the board and I shared a horrified look with Stiles as I reached for cell phone. Scott had informed me that he'd been asked to have dinner at the Yukimura's house and if Barrow was out to kill Kira than Scott could be in danger just being near her. I hit the speed dial as I held the phone up to my ear and started walking out of the classroom with the other two following after me. The line rang out as I groaned in frustration and I walked out into the parking lot as I glanced over my shoulder at my friends. "Meet me at Kira's house."

"Got it." Stiles called back at me as they ran over to his light blue jeep and I printed towards my Camaro as I tried not to panic about my brother's safety but it was hard because he was also my Alpha. I need to protect him was doubled because of that and I gripped the steering wheel tightly as I sped towards Kira's house. I pulled to a stop out the front of the Yukimura's house where Scott's motorbike was parked and Stiles' jeep stopped next to me as I scrambled out of the front seat.

"Scott! Scott? Scott!" I shouted loudly as I ran towards his motorbike with Stiles and Lydia doing the same thing and I saw my brother's legs hidden behind motorbike as I dropped to my knees next to his unconscious body. Stiles and Lydia both called his name as they knelt down on the other side of me and I slapped my brother across the face so he jerked upright with a gasp.

"Barrow, he took Kira!" Scott exclaimed wildly as I sighed in relief and I helped him to his feet as he staggered slightly.

"We know. He was after her the whole time." I said quietly as I pulled out my phone while Stiles and Lydia explained what we had found out at the school. I dialled Isaac's number by memory as I held the phone up to my ear and he answered after the second ring with a soft 'hey'. "Hi, have you and Allison found anything on flies in the bestiary?"

"No, nothing. Just stuff about flies and the dead. Nothing else." He answered me calmly with a hint of annoyance in his voice and I groaned in the back of my throat as I ran a hand through my hair in frustration.

"Alright, thanks, hon."

"Wait! Wait, uh, listen, I need your advice on something."

"Is this something private? Because I'm near Scott and he can hear you."

"Uh, yeah, it can wait. I'll call you if we found anything."

"We have to think of something. He's going to kill her." Scott said firmly as I hung up the phone and slipped it back into my bra out of the way.

"I knew he was there. How did I know that?" Lydia asked herself quietly as she frowned in confusion and I reached over for her hand because I could see that it was making her feeling helpless.

"Because you heard the flies, right?" I asked her softly as I squeezed her hand gently and she looked over at me with her lips pursed slightly as she nodded a little. "What do you hear now?"

"Nothing. I feel like I can do this. But I don't know what to do. It's like it's on the tip of my tongue, and I don't know how to trigger it." she proclaimed in a frustrated voice with tears in her pretty green eyes and I ran my thumb over her knuckles as she pulled her hand out of my grip. She ran both her hands through her strawberry blonde hair as she shook her head slightly and walked a few feet forward from our small circle. "I just I swear to God, it literally makes me want to scream."

"Okay, then scream. Lydia, scream." Stiles suggested to her sternly as he stepped towards her with a serious expression and Lydia took a deep breath before let out a piercing high pitched scream that made me cringe in pain. I closed my eyes tightly with a grimace as she slowly stopped screaming and I opened my eyes as she stared up at the overhead street light with a look of realisation. Lydia broke out in a smile as she spun around so fast that Stiles jumped back in surprise and I frowned in confusion up at the light before I realisation exactly what she had.

"It's not flies. It's electricity."

We all arrived at the power plant at the same time because I had caught a ride on the back of Scott's motor bike instead of taking my car and my brother ran straight into the building without me as I scowled in his direction.

"Okay. Wait here, all right? Just wait for the cops to come." Stiles ordered Lydia as he climbed out of the driver's side of his jeep with an aluminium baseball bat in his hand and I waited by the motorbike for Stiles because I knew that the human would need me more than the Alpha werewolf.

"Me? Wait, why?" Lydia asked him in confusion from the passenger seat and he started walking backwards as he held up the bat in his hand for her to see.

"I only got one bat."

"Stiles, let's go." I called to him impatiently as he jogged over to me and I opened the door to the substation as Stiles used the flashlight on his phone to light the way.

"Scott! No! Look out!" I heard Kira shouted within the building with my werewolf hearing and I froe for a second in horror before sprinting the direction her voice had come from.

"Sophie? Sophie!" Stiles yelled after me as I sprinted deeper into the substation and I could hear his footsteps following me as I rushed pass abandoned offices. I came to the bowels of the electricity substation and I saw Scott lying on the ground shaking like he had been electrocuted while a man stood over Kira with a live-wire in his hand. I stayed hidden in the shadows as the man I assumed was Barrowed touched Kira's arm with the wire and she started to glow a blindingly bright white as I covered my eyes with my arm from the glare. Barrowed was thrown backwards into a wall as Kira stared down at her hands with pure shock written on her face and the light subsides as Kira absorbed the electricity into her hands with sparks flying wildly. I glanced over at Scott's utterly confused expression with a smirk on my lips as I filed away the titbit of information I had just discovered. Kira Yukimura was a Kitsune and she didn't even know it.
