Here is the next one!

Disclaimer: I don't own the characters or the tv show. I just like to write them!

"Haley, we're gonna be late!" Nathan Scott called from the living room couch. He had been sitting on the sofa for nigh on an hour, waiting for his wife. He had the TV turned onto a game on mute.

"The champagne is going to be flat by the time we get there." Nathan mumbled to himself.

"What was that?" She shouted over the music that was blasting from her portable bathroom speaker.

"Nothing." He called out and went back to watching the game.

It was date night and the two of them were going out to eat at La Cher, the fanciest restaurant in town. It was this cute french bistro down on the boardwalk. It was where Nathan had taken Haley on their first date. It also happened to be her favorite place to eat.

"I'll be out in a minute."

"That's what you said twenty minutes ago."

"Well, it takes longer than a couple of minutes for me to look like this." Haley's voice came from behind Nathan. Just as he was turning around, she spoke up again. "Why am I doing this again? I didn't even want to go out tonight."

Earlier that day...

Haley was exhausted, dead tired. She could not wait to get home and relax with Nathan. They could make a whole night of it, together. Maybe rent a movie or two, binge on popcorn and junk food. Have Ice Cream Sundaes for dinner or banana splits. It was after all date night. Now all she had to do was convince Nathan.

She closed up her classroom for the evening and made her way out of the building to her car, dialing her husband's number as she went. She listened to the phone ring as she unlocked the driver's side door. Before she knew it she was sitting in her car and the phone was going to voicemail.

"Hey babe. I am on my way home. Can we just stay in..." She started to leave him a message. As she said the last bit, her phone announced a call waiting. "Oh, that must be you. Hold on."

"Hey Hales. What are you and boytoy up to tonight?"

"Hello to you too, Brooke." She turned the key in the ignition and started the car. She pulled out of the parking lot and made her way along the streets of Tree Hill towards her house.

"I said hi. Sooo, what are you guys up to tonight?"

"Wel, it is date night, but I am hoping we can stay in. I am so tired. I feel like I could fall asleep right now. Of course, I am driving so that would be a very bad idea."

"Student teaching kickin' your butt?"

"Yah. Like you wouldn't believe. But today was it's own form of hell. I was asked to help out with today's afterschool program. So what are you and Julian doing tonight?"

"Haley... We aren't doing anything tonight because we are taking a little break. Remember our fight last week?"

"Oh yeah, the whole intimacy issues thing. That didn't get sorted out?"

"No." Haley could hear the annoyance in her friend's voice. She was distracted, paying attention to the road as she talked on the phone.

"I don't know what to do, Haley. My love life is in shambles, my company is just about bankrupt and my mom is an absolute bitch."

"I'm sorry, Brookie. Is there anything I can do?"

"Yes, you can go have hot, hot sex with your perfect husband and tell me all about it, so I can live vicariously through you." She pleaded over the phone. "Because I surely am not getting any."

Haley smiled and laughed at her friends antics. "I think I might be able to do that for you. As long as I don't fall asleep before then. Oh, who am I kidding? That is definitely going to happen tonight."

Now it was Brooke's turn to laugh.

...

Nathan's jaw just about hit the floor when he was finally fully facing her as she walked down the hallway. Haley smirked at him as he tried to come up with a response for her.

"Do I look okay?" She questioned, looking down at her dress self-conciously again, to make sure everything was where it was supposed to be. Her rusted copper wrap dress was securely fastened at her waist, the spaghetti straps tied securely on top of her shoulders. Her pendant necklace hung between the v-neckline, accentuating her cleavage, which was tucked in rather nicely.

When Nathan finally found his words, he walked towards her. "Are you kidding? You look like a dream. In fact, I think maybe I've had a dream just like this before."

She looked up at him, and smiled. "You don't think it's too much?"

Nathan gathered her hands in his while gathering his thoughts.

"No, no. I love it. It's perfect, you're perfect." Damn, he couldn't believe his wife was this sexy. Now that he's seen her he also couldn't believe he talked her into going out. He dropped one of her hands to weave his arm around her waist, pulling her close. She closed her eyes as he hovered over her ear. "You know, you lookin' all sexy like this just makes me want to get you out of this dress as fast as I can."

He pulled away to watch her cheeks turn her signature shade of pink. He definitely didn't know what he had been thinking. Her eyes opened then and found his, their gazes locked on each other.

Earilier that day...

"Hey babe." Haley called out as soon as she entered the house. She closed the door behind her. When she didn't get an answer right away she called out again. "Nathan."

She heard a sound from up the stairs, a voice calling out. She then heard the sound of footfalls on the second floor as the person moved across the floor. "Hales? Is that you?"

"Who else would it be?" She mumbled rhetorically, half-heartedly. She set her bag down just inside the door and looked up the stairs just in time to see her husband descending them. He was still dressed in his work wear, his tie loosened around his neck and the top button undone on his button-up blue dress shirt. He leaned forward and gave her a peck on the lips as he brounght his arms up to her sides. Her hands went to his shoulders. She leaned towards him, putting her head on his chest, her hands finding their way to his back while his wound around her shoulders. She closed her eyes, breathing him in as he rested his chin on her head.

"You tired?" He asked, already knowing the answer. He could feel her nod her head against his chest. His lips found the top of her head.

The couple stood like that for some time, but Nathan had something he needed to bring up. Before he said anything though, one of his hands found her hair and stroked her honey-colored hair.

"I know you've had a long day and are probably not feeling like doing anything or seeing anyone, but I made us a reservation."

She pulled away just then, knowing that her relaxing night in was slipping away with each second.

...

Haley felt herself getting pulled in closer by his gaze which was followed not long after with his arms pulling her closer. She setlled her hands on his arms, moving them very slowly up to his shoulder. She could feel the sinews in his arms as he curled her into him even more. She closed her eyes once more and leaned forward, her forehead meeting his. Her arms made their way around the back of his neck, playing with the baby hairs there.

Nathan breathed her in as he held her in his arms. But he couldn't take it. He pulled away, knowing if he stayed where he was they would definitely not make it to the restaurant.

"You're driving me crazy, Hales." He ran a hand over his face while the other propped his body against the wall.

"Well, who's idea was it to go out again? Oh yeah, that's right, yours."

"Yah, I don't know what I was thinkin'." He starts, a smile playing across his lips as he turns his head and feels her behind him. She reaches out her hand and puts her hand on his shoulder.

"Thank you Nathan. I know I didn't want to go to begin with, but this was very sweet of you." Her hand made it's way down his arm to his hand. She brought her other hand and clasped his in between both of hers. She pulled on his hand to turn him towards her.

Instead of him turning though, he pulled her towards his body, moving out of the way so she was now positioned between him and the wall.

She hooked her fingers into two of his belt loops on his dress pants and pulled him towards her. Her eyes went to his lips as his tongue wetted his lips.

He watched her bite her lip and leaned down to giver her a breathless kiss, all thoughts of leaving for dinner erased from his mind. Their tongues danced against each other and when air became an issue, he pulled away but not much. His breath coming quick and mingling with hers in the small space.

She pulled him towards her again, this time each small kiss was puncutated with a word from him, "We could... say we... went... and pretend... we just... got back... from the... bar."

She pulled away and looked at him through her eyelashes, biting her lip again. She answered as she grabbed at his neck to pull him to her once again. "This is more fun anyway."

Their lips met in a searing hot kiss, hopefully without the chance of interruption again. He pulled his lips from hers, making a trail towards her ear. Her breath came out in a breathy moan. He nibbled at her earlobe, taking it into his hot, wet mouth. After a minute he was on the move again, down her neck to her pulse point.

She let out a little laugh, "Hey, that's my ticklish spot."

He smiled as he continued his ministrations on her neck. He took her in his arms and walked her away from the wall. He lifted her up in his arms, and backed up against the wall once again. Haley tore his mouth from her neck and brought his lips to hers. She felt like her skin was on fire and the new position did not help with that at all. She desperately needed some friction, rubbing herself against Nathan trying to find what she so desperately wanted.

They definitely weren't leaving now.

He definitely didn't think it would be that easy.

I was pleasantly surprised with how this turned out. When I was halfway through it, I wasn't really liking it all that much.

Hope you liked it! Please review! What song do you think it is? Take a guess. It's a good one!...

Oh, and by the way, no one has guessed any of the last chapters right. If you really want to know.
