Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or Recess. The story has nothing to do with the movie Recess: Taking The Fifth Grade. Miss Finster is still an assistant teacher, King Bob is still king, and the school is now an academy. Spinelli and T.J. do not like each other; they are best friends, nothing more. In the story, Grades Kinder through fourth grade only has one teacher, while fifth through eighth changes classes.

Chapter Four: Dinner With The Neighbors Part One

Getting off the school bus, Kagome, T.J., Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, Miroku, Shippo, Souta, and Spinelli began to walk down the street. "I'm tired~," Shippo whined as he dragged his legs. "You just got off of the bus runt." Inuyasha turned around and glared at him, only to stop when Sesshomaru and Miroku slapped him in the back of his head.

He turned around to glare at both of them. "What was that for?!" He angrily demanded. While he had a one-sided argument with Miroku and Sesshomaru, T.J. and Kagome waved goodbye to Spinelli as she walked into her home. "Do you know what time you and your family's going to come over for dinner?" Kagome asked T.J. curiously as they continued to walk to their houses.

"I think sometime around five or six?" With a slight shrug, T.J. said, both of his hands holding his backpack straps. "Inuyasha! You have until five or six to clean your side of your room!" Kagome yelled at him, knowing how their mom was when it came to having guests over their house.

"My side isn't dirty!" Inuyasha turned around and yelled at her. "It's a pigsty." Sesshomaru and Miroku told him dryly while Shippo and Souta giggled underneath their breaths. "You know mom's going to make you clean it cause we have company," Kagome stated while rolling her eyes at him.

She ignored the look he gave her as she looked at T.J. "It's like a tornado hit it or something." She shuddered before walking towards her front door while waving goodbye to him.

~ Kagome's Room ~

Kagome placed her shoes in her closet before taking off her backpack and hanging it on its hook. After that, she flopped on her bed face first and stretched. "I missed you bed." She said to no one although it did come out muffled due to her being face first in her covers. Picking her head up a little, she looked around her room for anything she knew her mom would make her clean.

She had what she would consider an ordinary room. She had white walls with her favorite book and anime posters on the wall. She had pink and white bedsheets on her bed; matching light brown nightstands and dresser; a tv stand that faced her bed; a desk that was in the corner of her room.

Not seeing anything she laid her head back down ready to take a quick nap.
