Chapter 2 Home sweet hell

Walter sat there riding in the back of the taxi thinking about everything that has happened over the past 3 days from working with Collins to coming out of the rabbit hole and not understanding how he should have been lost in the hole and he didn't want to come back he wanted to leave all this pain behind, and he wanted to keep everyone safe.

Cabe and Happy both took the driver seats in the two cars they got as they started to get ready to go get Walter and try and fix things. He decided to call the Garda "This is agent Cabe Gallo I work with Homeland back in the states on of our assets is here and we are chasing them down in two Honda Civics and would very much like it if we could go uninterrupted to the location, we believe he is going to be at" Cabe rattled off in a quick but clearly worried voice to the man.

"Hello, agent Gallo this is Garda Murphy, and I will patch you through to our commissioner and you can explain it to him" Murphy stated as he put him on a brief hold before the commissioner answered.

"This is Commissioner O'Neill who am I speaking to that is so important that I need to be interrupted from helping other Garda members and keeping order straight here" O'Neill stated in a very annoyed voice.

"I'm agent Gallo and I need the quickest route to Callan residents Sean and Louise O'Brien's house cleared we have a top government asset running from us and don't want him spooked till we get him" Cabe stated slightly annoyed that the man could not brief the commissioner quickly.

"Alright I can do that but be quick I don't want to mess up and want our men tangled up for long" growled O'Neill.

Happy driving past Cabe only speeding up faster and fast till she was doing 110 km as Cabe chased her down. They kept going not once slowing down as they flew through the town making their way to the O'Brien house. Finally, 30 minutes later the house was coming into sight as the two cars slowed down as they came to arrive at the house

Walter sat there in traffic waiting as he had another hour to an hour and a half until he would even get to his parents and was trying desperately to stay away from everyone else. Finally, traffic slowly started to move again much slower than before he was guessing about two hours until he could see his parents.

-Knocking on door-

Louise made her way to the door no knowing who would be coming over so late at night. Paige stood there in front of everyone as nobody wanted to face the mother's wrath and Sly most of all did not want to be there fearing the disappointment of what he did to his brother.

"Mrs. O'Brien…" Paige started before she was cut off "Don't call me that call me Louise or mom" she stated.

"I am sorry, but I don't think I will ever be able to call you mom seeing as everyone here left or hurt Walter in some way but these two bringing Walter Jr. and Ralph to the front" was all Paige could get out before crying once again reliving the pain all over again.

"What do you mean" Louise said looking directly at Sylvester. "Walter took the new work neighbor to a convention because he heard Paige didn't want to go and none of us was able to go and to be efficient he asked her and when it came out I accused him of making her fall in love with him and he told me I was being a big baby and I shoved him when I told him I quit, then Paige followed me, and as we walked away Happy and Toby told him good job now your in the middle of a mine field and he yell thank you know-it-alls and then they walked out and Cabe hurt him by calling him half-baked when he was originally trying to tell Paige that he loves her but she took her comms out and the guy she was dating at the moment to get revenge got mad at him for it and Toby told Walter to move on since she was with him even though we all knew Paige and Walter love each other and now we are trying to fix it all but he is running away from us so we wanted to ask if we could stay here and catch him off guard and hopefully stop him from running away and we might of started a separate company also" Sylvester let out while crying and looking at the ground knowing he could never face them again and even looking at the ground was to good for him he just wanted to melt away into the earth.

"Jesus you all need to learn to face problems and not run away and quit your jobs because of it and starting a new company because a fight is childish now when and if Walter comes, we will have a long talk, and nobody is leaving this house without my permission that goes for you too Sean" Louise moved and let them all come in as she finished in a loud voice so that Sean was sure to hear.

"Thank you so much" they said as the quickly got inside not wanting Walter to see them before his mom did.

Walter sighed finally he got home and with just the clothes on his back he walked up onto the porch as he knocked on the door. "Walter welcome home now get inside and do not think about running" his mother said as she glared at the man standing there knowing full well if he saw them before she said anything he was liable to try and run away. Walter walked in and quickly moved past everyone and hid in his room only to notice it was boarded enough to stop him from getting out through his window and with how many people were in the house the likelihood of getting out the front door was too low. Taking a deep breathe Walter laid in his old bed and slowly was letting sleep fall over him when his door had opened, and he heard footsteps coming closer as his breathing increased "GET AWAY MARK LEAVE ME ALONE" Walter yelled when Paige ran over with Walt Jr. and Ralph all of them holding him and soothing him realizing he ran not because of them but because Mark somehow destroyed him mentally and emotionally.
