Kurumi's eyes shot open as she sat up and panted. Looking around, she narrowed her eyes, "What the…where am I?"

"You're awake," she looked back and saw Shido sitting next to the bed, "That's good…I was worried the others might have hurt you, and to answer your question, you're in my room,"

Kurumi growled before she slightly smirked, "You know, Shido dear, it's rather bold of you to bring a lovely young lady such as myself to your room without buying her dinner first,"

"Cut the small talk," Kurumi growled again, "You look like you've been through hell lately…is something wrong,"

Kurumi huffed and looked away, "I'm okay, no need to worry,"

"And now I know something is up," Kurumi looked back with wide eyes, "Every time someone says they're okay or that they're fine…they're lying…Kurumi, I stopped the others from killing you, or at least hurting you very badly…can you tell me what's bothering you?"

"Besides you," Shido frowned as Kurumi sighed and hugged her knees to her chest, "My Angel is eating up my time more and more…this world is getting colder and colder with each passing day…the only good I see in it are you and your little friends, but that's not enough…not enough to make up for the abuse in this world, but I'm so tired…I don't think I can continue to fight,"

"Then let me Seal you," Kurumi looked back in disbelief as Shido shook his head, "Kurumi, this can't go on forever. "Why are you like this?" Kurumi frowned and shook her head, "People try to hurt you, your loved ones and kill you and you still see the good in them…why? No one is this purehearted…you have to hold some resentment towards them,"

"The thing is…I don't," Shido narrowed his eyes, "As long as I'm still standing and I can still draw a breath, I won't let anyone, human or Spirit, get hurt or killed over something trivial…I don't want to see anyone suffer, no matter what they've done, they don't deserve something horrible like that," Kurumi sighed before she leaned closer and pressed her lips against his, surprising Shido as Kurumi felt her armor begin to fade.

Kurumi tightly hugged Shido as she frowned ad hung her head, "Don't look at me…I'm not ready for you to see me naked…not until our wedding night," Shido slightly smiled as he wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him.
