Chapter 5 The plan and the arrival
Russia
Collins sat there a week had past and though the pain was still there all over he couldn't remember a time when he felt so afraid of someone, but Yuri had brought him to genuine fear. "So, Yuri where do I find Walter now" he all but chuckled his plan would have to start from scratch, but he will have the data he will get him, and the brain-to-brain interface and time travel would be completed.
"We are still searching for him it's not exactly easy, but we will find him for you and as long as you keep your word, and we will have no problem" Yuri told him in a cold tone that told him that death itself could never save him. Yuri just walked around as he was getting annoyed with how long it was taking to find this man because with all the hackers, he had at his disposal none of them seemed to be able to find this man.
Ireland
Tim finally made it back to the hotel seeing Florence sitting there in the room as she was writing up formula after formula. "I have the chemicals" Tim stated as he walked straight into the room towards her desk.
"Good now I have all the stuff that will do two things to them one it is going to knock them out for a few hours and two it will cause memory loss for a while back and if I can make it strong enough we should be able to erase most of their recent memories then we can use hypnosis to make them completely forget each other" Florence said as she smiled cynically chuckling as Tim just sat there laughing knowing soon Walter would be out of his way.
"Good I want her back she deserves to be with a real man not so little boy a man who can understand her feelings but when do we do this" Tim said quietly in her ear.
"Walter is not a little boy but anyways I don't want Walter with that dumb bitch, and I think in four days I should have it all completed" Florence sneered but she nodded as they both understood they didn't like the other's lover.
O'Brien House
There they sat relaxing finally everything was over and once back in the states they all just have to go see the doc twice a week for the next year not so bad. "Thanks for coming to save me. I am sorry I hurt you all and realized how much it hurt being away from them and how much I still missed Megan" Walter murmured as tears ran down his face reliving the pain hurt but not as much but with his EQ skyrocketing just from Paige being right next to him, he could not help but cry seeing his family all there in front of him as he smiled.
"No need to thank us 197 we need the whole cyclone, or we just don't work I mean I became an egotistical asshole to everyone around me because you were not there to keep me in check and to take the brunt of my shenanigans, I miss you buddy" Toby said as for the first-time tears came down his face.
"I missed you brother I am sorry I fought with you over a woman you could never even consider to be a match for you, I cannot believe I thought you would want Florence to fall for you" Sylvester said as he hugged Walter letting all his tears and emotions flow out uncontrollably.
"We are sorry yes you damn well messed up, but so did we and we left you when we are supposed to have each other's back but we left you out alone nobody to keep you safe and grounded I am sorry best friend" Happy just stood there before Walter as she gave him a fist bump.
"I am sorry for saying you were not ready for Paige" Cabe looked at Walter as he moved over hugging his son.
"Walter I am sorry for calling you stunted and for saying that you would not progress any further with your EQ, and that I left you without talking to you about it privately I made it publicly, and I should not have accused you of that as you have shown that you had nothing but love for me and Ralph, and I am sorry I let my abandonment issues" Paige said as she curled up in Walter's lap crying.
"You all messed up but even after saying sorry and talking in front of that doc the fact you all said it after he left and none of us were in the room shows you all love him, and we know he loves you all" Sean said as he walked out of the kitchen with Louise's hand in his. She walked up to her son as he looked at her she grabbed his hand to put something in his hand as she whispered something in his ear and almost instantly blushing and stood up as he told Paige "I need to go somewhere would you come with me" Walter stared at her getting lost in her eyes as she nodded and Ramone came up behind him clutching Walter's shoulders "Well, sorry but James and I will be coming with you" Ramone said as he looked into his eyes before whispering "We will stay a little bit away and we can get a picture for you" Walter only stood there and nodded wondering how he knew what he is planning.
Driving down to the park Walter had mentioned as they pulled up to a deserted park that nobody was at but yet so many flowers were there in full bloom as a stream went down it the center with the most beautiful blue color as they finally walked over to it Walter stood right next to her "Since I met you I fell in love with you and Ralph and with each case and with each day I saw you help up and I saw you sit in your chair I first accepted it when we kissed after we used the EMP to restart the satellite to save California from becoming an A-bomb" Walter said as Paige stood there staring into his eyes. Slowly, Walter got down on one knee staring into her eyes "Paige, as I already said I am crazy in love with you and so I have to ask will you be my forever my one and only love as I never want to be apart from you" Walter asked with not even a second passing "Yes I will I don't ever want to be away from you again Walter" Paige cried as she choked the words out as Walter jumped up lifting her up in his arms and kissing her as Ramone and James both got a picture of them from different angles smiling as the two walked back holding hands as she wore the ring that he just put on her finger proudly as they got into the car with the two agents "Can we stop by this address really quick" Walter quipped staring at Paige.
"Yes, but we need to get back soon understood" Ramone said grinning as the man who he was told was a robot seemed to show so many emotions. They all walked in as Paige stared at the beautiful jewelry in the store more beautiful than anything she had ever seen "Could you pick a ring out for me to wear as I pick up something" Walter whispered in her ear. They walked around with one agent next to each of them as they looked at all the jewelry when Walter found it the perfect gift a necklace and earring set with both having Paige's birthstone the aquamarine in them and he had to get them just picturing how perfect they would look on her. Paige wandered the store looking at all the rings before she found one that looked similar to the one that he had given her as she asked the man about it "What is this ring here it looks like the one I have" Paige asked shocked she found one so beautiful and it matched hers.
"This is a ring that dates back 10 generations like yours it actually looks like they were a pair for a couple when they got engaged the tale goes as I remember that two lovers had gone through great pains of life they had lacked communication and for that they were young people when they had first met eye to eye the world around them disappeared but the man could never convey his feelings and the woman could not understand his logic many trials came between the two none was worse than a lady who had logic near the man's intellect but he still only loved the woman whose emotion was higher than his and she left him thinking with her high emotion and the pain it caused her until years later they found each other both still lonely and madly in love with each other and at that moment they had found a man off in the distance making two rings and when they asked him what he was doing he let them know these rings were his last and greatest masterpiece to represent the love he lost due to logic and emotion as alone they would never thrive but together it was an unstoppable force and seeing as you have one I think you should have the other three the one is the other engagement ring and the other set is wedding rings" said the man as Paige stood there smiling as she shook her head yes crying at the story behind these rings as the man wrapped the rings he walked up to her handing her the rings saying "Finding the fourth ring makes it worth more than any payment could ever be given so just take these and make sure to live a happy and loving life ma'am". Walking away as she finished looking with Walter circling over towards her as they stared again like life itself had just stopped before Ramone came back and startled Walter as they all turned to leave going back to the house. On the way back to the house Paige grabbed the ring she had found and quickly slipped it on to Walter's finger noticing how perfectly it had fit on his finger as her ring so happened to fit her finger perfectly and noticed Walter look at the ring and how it looked so similar to the family ring, he had just put on her finger not even an hour before.
"What is this? how did you find this ring? Why does it look so similar to the ring I put on your finger?" Walter stuttered as Paige looked and retold the story the jeweler had just told her as she smile thinking how that story sounded almost like her and Walter's relationship and how crazy their life has been since they met each other and finally everything was starting to settle down and hopefully Florence and Tim both were gone for good now as they finally got back to the house only to show Ralph the ring on her finger and the matching ring on Walter's finger before Sean and Louise came over followed by everyone else.
