Shido slept soundly as a storm raged outside. Feeling extra weight on his chest, he moaned and opened his eyes before he looked down and saw a frightened Kaguya and Yuzuru staring at him, surprising him, "What the…what the hell are you doing in my bed? And…why do you look like scared children?"
"Scared? Us,' Kaguya laughed, "That's hilarious, Shido, when have you ever known us to fear anything an-" lightning stuck and thunder clapped, causing the two sisters to flinched and Shido's eyes widened, "Okay, okay, we'll talk…Yamai wasn't one Spirit…she was our mother, and after a storm like this…we got separated and thought the one of us were going to have to fight to become the next Yamai,"
"I…what?"
"Response, what Kaguya has said is the truth," Yuzuru looked up and frowned, "Our mother was very kind to us, and after we got separated, we started our competition to become her successor…until you saved us, Shido,"
Shido stared at the two as Kaguya lightly whimpered, "So…go ahead…make fun of the Hurricane Children for being afraid of a stupid-' before she could finish, she and Yuzuru looked up as Shido patted the top of their heads, "What…why are you petting us, Shido?"
"You two are afraid of the storm because you were separated from your mother…that's understandable,"
"Sadness, we can't go looking for her because she won't recognize us since you sealed us,"
'Perhaps we can still find her," Shido sighed, "Hey Reine, do you think-"
"Already ahead of you, Shin," Reine's voice spoke through the earpiece, "We'll be looking for Spiritual Waves matching Kaguya's and Yuzuru's. In the meantime, try and keep those girls in a calm and happy state," Shido hummed and nodded before ending the transmission.
Shido continued to comfort the Yamai sisters as the storm continued to rage outside. Looking down, he saw they Yuzuru and Kaguya had fallen asleep and he slightly smiled before he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep himself.
