Sorry for the long wait! And now the members of the Kreisau Circle will witness what the Doom Slayer is truly capable of. Enjoy!

(Berlin, Kreisau Circle Base)

All the members were either standing or sitting in front of the screens, currently off. The Slayer had already left to carry out his first mission for the Kreisau and VEGA had informed them they would be able to see him in action. The AI would link their screens with the Slayer's HUD, giving them a close up of how the Hellwalker worked.

"So, anyone having doubts about this?" Wyatt asked. "I mean, I'm still having trouble believing what they said, but attacking the Nazi's primary base of communications alone is a bit insane."

"You saw those images. They were too real to be fake." William said, his arms crossed. He was standing behind Anya, eyes fully focused on the screens, waiting for them to turn on. "And after seeing what he did to those guards back at the Nautica and at Deathshead's Compound, something like this will be a walk in the park."

Caroline raised an eyebrow at William. "That's high praise coming from you, Blazkowicz. In either event, if those two pull this off, we will have a major advantage over the Nazis. A back door to their communications, without them knowing too."

"Hold everyone, I picking up a signal." Anya responded.

Moments later, the screens came to life. First it showed the UAC's logo, before shifting to a scenery of a town, and a very large building. "Guess its showtime." Fergus said as everyone prepared to witness the Slayer in action.

(Heidelberg, Germany)

The Slayer stepped out of a portal on top of a cliff overlooking the town. The town looked mostly the same from the original timeline with only a few changes to it. The most obvious was the largest building built just near the city's borders, its back facing the Slayer and the front facing the river Neckar. The building was covered with banners and flags that showed the Nazi emblem. A typical trait for these fascist bastards. Their need to overcompensate was obvious for everyone to see given to the number of banners they have posted.

Suddenly his coms came to life. [Now patching into Kreisau Circle. Ms. Becker]

"I'm here. Now, listen Doom Slayer. 60% of Nazi communications come through this station. We could never risk trying to hack it as the station is too heavily guarded and they would find out in minutes.
Explained Caroline. "But now that you and VEGA are here, things have changed. VEGA"

[Though I can take over most of the Nazi technology, it is still too primitive for me to fully gain access. Not without risk of overloading them, that includes their communications, of which I can only track the radio frequency] VEGA stated. [However, if you can get direct access to the main console, I can install a virus that will allow the resistance's computers to access theirs without the Nazis knowing. This will not only allow us to listen in on their conversations without being discovered, but I can use it to create a hidden line between the rebel cells across Europe that I have located over the years]

"If we can hack into the communication console and set up that network, we could know the Nazis' every move and coordinate with other groups. That would be a great help in launching more effective counter offensive." Anya said.

"Good luck, Slayer" Caroline said before closing the comms.

The Slayer observed his location. The front entrance was on the other side of the building and charging in was not needed for this mission. [You may be able to reach the roof if you use the meathook. Scans indicate that there are guards patrolling the catwalk above. Recommend you move quickly] VEGA advised.

Trusting the AI's advice, the Slayer headed over towards the edge of the cliff he was on. As he suspected, the cliff only reached halfway up to the base. Looking upwards, the scans from his HUD showed guards near the edge on a catwalk, though. That was good enough for him. Taking out his super shotgun, the Slayer jumped off the cliff, followed by another jump from his booster kit to get him closer. Aiming, the Slayer fired the meathook, it impaled one of the guards and reeled the Slayer upwards. He saw another Nazi besides the one he just impaled. Pulling out his energy pistol, the Hell Walker shot at the second guard, shooting him right through the head. Once that was done, the Slayer gracefully landed on the catwalk as the two bodies fell over the rail.

With that out of the way, the Slayer looked around for any means of entrance. He eventually found one in the shape of a glass window, which also granted him a visual of what was inside. Down below there were about seven guards on the same floor. Four were spread apart while three were grouped up, none of them aware of his presence. Taking out his Vortex Rifle, the Slayer than changed to his Ice Bomb. [I begun transmitting through the Nazi's radio frequency. I will continue to send false messages and inform you of any new developments] VEGA informed.

Nodding, the Slayer shattered the glass, startling the guards below. Firing a bomb at the group of three, the Nazis were consumed by a white mist. When it cleared, they were frozen solid, stuck in place. The remaining four guards were shocked at what happened. Only of them spotted the attacker, and he barely had time to yell as the Slayer aimed his rifle. The laser sniper rifle easily pierced the heads of the first three, causing said heads to explode violently. The last remaining guard tried to make a run for it, but was shot through the back immediately, the round piercing his heart.

With those four eliminated, the Slayer jumped down, landing with a thud. Turning his attention to the still frozen three guards, he delivered a blood punch that shattered them instantly. As he swapped to his combat shotgun, VEGA spoke up again. [I have managed to hack the security cameras. Mapping a route towards the control hub onto your HUD. You are currently on the fourth floor while the control room is on the tenth floor. There are nearby staircases you can use to reach the control room. Be advised it will only be a matter of time until the Nazis realize there is an intruder. You must reach the master control room quickly]

The Slayer took a deep breath. Normally, there would be no problem when engaging the enemy. He would just charge in and kill anyone in his way. But this was different, the Slayer had to focus on completing his task, not risking the Nazis calling reinforcement and hampering his progress. And killing too many guards would attract attention. The Slayer thus had to revert to his old training, back when he was space marine, before he became the Doom Slayer and was inducted into the Night Sentinels. When instead of charging into battle with weapons blazing, and instead used stealth and silence to take down his targets and complete his mission. It would not be easy, as his armor was not made for stealth and the only weapon that would not make noise was his doomblade. Still, the Slayer would adapt.

Without wasting time, the Slayer took off. As he exited the room, he coincidentally ran into a patrol of five Soldats. Not wasting time, the Doom Slayer lunged at them before they could react. He rammed his doomblade into the throat of the closes Soldat, ripping it out as he punched the second one in the chest before he could raise his gun. The Soldat gasped in pain as he felt his ribs chattered, allowing the Slayer to deal with the third Soldat. Said man tried to get back but was not quick enough as the Slayer grabbed the sides of his head and turned it 180 degrees. The last two were both killed from a single shot from the Super Shotgun, the Wraithfire infused bullets tearing their bodies to shred. With them dead the Slayer finished off the second Soldat by slamming his face hard against the wall, his mask shattering upon contact and blood covering the wall.

Few minutes later, the Slayer's scanners picked up heat signatures around the next corner. Taking out his Energy Pistol, the Slayer fired a personal teleporter. The small, donut shape disk attached to the wall before generating an orb of energy. Activating it via the controls built into his suit, the Slayer teleported right in front of another patrol group, three Soldats. Taken by the surprise, the Doom Slayer impaled one Soldat through the chest, shot another through the head and slit the throat of the last one.

The process continued several times. The Slayer would run into either a patrol of one person or several people, dispose of them swiftly and move on. When he could, the Slayer would avoiding patrols when necessary or possible, but mostly when necessary. Old habits die hard when it came to slaughtering every enemy in your path. It was a bit difficult though since he couldn't use his larger and louder weapons, and mainly resorted to using his shotguns and pistol, as well as his doomblade. Still, he was making good time and none of the patrols had managed to get a word out to the rest of the base, also in part due to VEGA's interference. Word would get out eventually once someone discovered the bodies, but for now the Slayer continued on track.

The Slayer finally reached the staircases VEGA had mentioned. Going up, he spotted four guards coming down. They were obviously shocked by the Slayer's sudden appearance but were unable to do anything when he lunged at them. Fist raised the Slayer released a blood punch to the nearest guard. The shockwave not only destroyed the man's body but struck those behind the Nazi and sent them flying. Their bodies hit the wall with a sickening crunch and slid down lifelessly. Well, almost all of them. One of them was still alive if barely. The Slayer quickly put him out of his misery with a well place stomp to the face.

[You are nearing the main control room. Security cameras show there are two Super Soldiers guarding the entrance. The facility's commander is in the room, as indicated from Nazi radio chatter] VEGA reported.

The Slayer grinned. He always enjoyed killing those large freaks. Reminded him of when he slaughtered Hell Knights, though the Nazi's versions were weaker. And then there was the commander. Taking him out would cause the organization here to fall into disorder, even if only temporarily. Preparing, the Slayer took out his chaingun, putting it Energy Shield Mod and readying his Ice Bomb. He finished just in time, as he reached the floor of the command room, he slammed open the door leading into a hallway. There were two Super Soldiers, both carrying MG-60s.

Firing the ice bomb, the closes Super Soldier was hit. Not even his heavy armor soldier protected him from being frozen in place. The other soldier fired his weapon, but the bullets were blocked by the energy shield the Slayer activated, firing his own weapon at the same time. He first focused on the frozen Super Soldier. Despite the build and armor, the soldier was weaker than Hell Knights, thus was more brittle when affected by the frozen gases. It quickly came apart from the barrage of bullets.

Shifting his attention to the second Super Soldier, the Slayer fired more bullets and until launching the energy shield. Said shield struck the Super Soldier head on, the impact damaging the armor and causing him to stumble a little. That gave the Slayer the opening to rush him, grabbing the Super Soldier by the face and then slamming him into the ground hard. The Hellwalker followed it up by plunging the Doomblade into the Super Soldier's head so that the blade stuck out from the other end.

With the bodyguards now dead, the Slayer turned his attention to the control room. Kicking the door down, he was greeted with the Commander shouting out in surprise. Said Nazi then pulled out his sidearm and fired, yelling out curses in German. But the bullets merely bounced off the hellforged plated Praetor Suit, doing no damage whatsoever. [All Nazi Commanders in charge of facilities of importance carry security cards with the passwords. We will need his to gain access to the console behind him] VEGA explained, indicating to the large number computers on the opposite end of the room.

Nodding, the Slayer calmly pulled out his Super Shotgun and blew the commander's head off. As the body hit the floor, the Slayer walked over and proceeded to search the body for the passcode. He eventually found the card inside the commander's left breast pocket. Once acquired, the Hellwalker headed over to the console and punched in the code. Seconds later, the computers came alive. Next, the Slayer put in a drive into one of the slots. A bar appeared on the screens, slowly filling up. It took about a minute until the bars were completely full.

[Virus fully uploaded. I now have remote access. Sending to Kreisau Circle. Ms. Oliwa, please confirm] VEGA asked.

"Confirmed, VEGA" Anya replied. "We now have full access to all Nazi data and a secure link to their communications."

The Slayer removed the drive as a portal opened behind him. [Our mission is done here. We should leave] Advised VEGA.

Not responding as usual, the Slayer casually walked into the portal. The portal closed just seconds before Nazi Soldiers came rushing in. The only thing they saw were the active computers and the headless corpse of the base commander.

(Kreisau Circle Base)

The Slayer reappeared in the hangar where the helicopters from Project Whisper were being stored. Already there was Carolina, working on one of the helicopters when she spotted him. "Good work, Slayer." Caroline said as she rolled up to said man. "We all watched you through the link VEGA shared with us. Fergus and William were even cheering when you gutted some of those Nazi bastards." The woman smirked, and the Slayer returned one as well underneath his helmet. "In any case, Anya has already informed me that data from the Nazi's communication is pouring in. Once VEGA has secured a private line with other resistance cells, we can move onto the next stage of my plan. In the meantime, go and wait at the main room, we have other things to discuss."

The Slayer nodded and headed off. As he made his way towards his destination, he passed by Fergus who was arguing with Tekla about something. The former Royal Air Force Wing Commander spotted him. "Ah! There's are resident time traveler!" He said, glad to get away from Tekla. "Heard from Anya you got that virus or whatever shit set up. And saw your work too, mate. Fuck me, am I glad to have another Nazi killer with us."

Nodding in response, the Slayer revealed his doomblade, still covered in blood. Fergus laughed and patted him on the shoulder before heading off.

Continuing his trek, passing by J who was tuning his guitar, the Slayer spotted Max's bedroom door opened. Curious, he looked inside and saw said person in his bed, asleep. [While you were away, something Captain Blazkowicz did caused great distress with Professor Hass and he had to be escorted to his room to calm down] VEGA explained.

Seeing the problem, the Slayer had an idea that might make Max feel better when he woke up. Activating his Hammerspace Storage Device, the Slayer brought out one of Slayer toys he had found on Mars. Apparently, the UAC had designed them to be toys for children back on Earth and the colonies. This one was an exact replica of the Praetor Suit, and should make a good gift for Max. The Slayer made sure to move quietly as he could, placing the toy on the bookshelf beside the others.

Once done, the Slayer exited the room. He passed by Klaus. The ex-Nazi must've realized what he did, as he gave the Slayer a nod of gratitude. The Slayer returned the nod and continued to his original destination.

The main room, or meeting room, was very busy. Anya was practically glued to the screens as she was going over the information. Wyatt was beside her, busy on the radio, obviously speaking to someone on the other end. Meanwhile, William was just hanging around, helping when he could like bringing over boxes, notebooks, and other miscellaneous items for Anya. William had put down another box of books when he saw the Slayer. "Hey, the man of the day. Glad you could join us." William said.

Nodding, the Slayer walked over and helped move the notebooks Anya had already written in, giving her another blank one. Getting a quick 'thanks' from Anya, she proceeded to continue writing the data she was getting from the radio transmissions. Caroline wheeled in, followed by Fergus and Klaus. "Looks like she'll be there for a while." Caroline commented.

"There is just so much. So much info that can help us against the Nazis." Anya said. "And then there's the new friends we've been making too." She added, looking at Wyatt.

Putting down the headphone, Wyatt looked at the others. "I've already finished speaking to resistance cells in England and France. Looks like our little trip to the London Nautica got us some favors from the British. And the rebels in France are more than willing to lend us aid. Not sure yet about the cells in other parts of the world."

[We may be able to lend assistance] VEGA stated. [During the past fourteen years, many of the prisoners we freed went to join resistance cells and spread word about the Slayer's action. In return I informed them to wait eventual contact. Confirmation with the password D-12101993. I have confirmed that many of those former prisoners are still alive and with various cells] Wyatt looked at Caroline, who nodded in the affirmative. The former US Army Private prepared to reach out further, with the passcode memorized.

Fergus chuckled. "Bloody hell, VEGA. You sure have everything planned out."

[There is too much to lose if we are not organized. Remember, the Nazis are not our only enemy] VEGA said.

"That may be true, but at least we have the advantage over one of them." Caroline said, rolling up to the table. The others joined later, though the Slayer opted to stand. "But, back on track. Anya had made a discovery regarding another matter."

Anya, taking a break, pulled out what looked like a block of cement. Placing it on the table she began. "Uber Concrete. The essential building material of the Reich. It's based on Da'at Yichud technology, but with help from VEGA, we discovered something."

[The formula is near perfect, but it is developing mold and deteriorating over time] VEGA said. [Judging by my scans, this was not an accident, but a deliberate attempt at sabotage]

"Exactly, someone is tampering with the mix. Someone who knows it's secrets." Anya explained. She then turned their attention to Da'at Yichud papers, specifically those with lists of names. "VEGA analysis shows traces of this type of limestone that exists only in Northern Croatia. Now, the name Set Roth appears three times in Da'at Yichud documents."

VEGA took the stage. [Official documents state that he was detained in 1941 in Lodz, later sent off to a force labor camp in Northern Croatia. The same location where the limestone needed Uber Concrete is excavated. Ms. Oliwa and I have reached the same conclusion]

Anya nodded. "This labor camp is the place where we'll find Set Roth. A living member of the Da'at Yichud. VEGA says that while he knows the location of most of their safe houses, he cannot activate them on his own. It requires an actual member to get us into them, and finding those he does not know. Set Roth is our only key to getting to those secrets."

Caroline mulled over the information for a moment. "The problem is there are so many unknowns. This is an old man who could probably be dead for all we know. VEGA, is there anyway to confirm if he's still alive or not?"

[Unfortunately, there is not. I have gone through the radio transmissions there, but I cannot confirm if Set Roth is alive or not] VEGA replied. [However, given his value, it is unlikely the Nazis would execute him. The possibility of him being still alive are quite high. That said, I must direct to another problem: While scanning the prison, I have detected traces of Hell energy]

That made everyone go still, while the Slayer's brow furrowed, though no one could see it. They still recall the images they were shown, as well as what Hell energy could do. The idea of it actually being here was unnerving. Still, that did lead to one question: "Why would you be picking that up from a labor camp?" William asked.

[As you recall, many of the UAC staff had been possessed by lesser demons, while those who had not were instead converted into Gore Nests, the primary method for demons to enter our dimension. As the Nazis lack zero empathy to prisoners, it would make sense as the camp would provide the demons with an abundance of fresh 'material'] VEGA explained.

"So even if this man isn't alive, we can't allow that place to continue standing." Wyatt said, trying to calm his nerves. Out of everyone there, he was the one who was the most rattled as he recalled the demon zombies.

Klaus looked at the Slayer. "Can't you just storm in there, and blow the place up? Hell, you'd even be freeing the prisoners too." To his surprise, the Slayer shook his head.

"No, we still need to confirm if Set is still alive or not. If the Slayer goes in there gung-ho, a lot of people will die, possibly Roth himself." Caroline answered. "No, we need someone to infiltrate the facility and find out where Roth is. Only then can we plan the escape. Go undercover."

That made Klaus laugh. He looked around the table. "So, any volunteers?" He asked half-jokingly.

As if obvious, all eyes turned towards William. Out of all of them, he had the most experience in infiltration behind enemy lines. Plus, given how his recent achievements, William could be resourcesful too. "You ready for this, Blazkowicz?" Caroline asked.

"If it means shutting that place down for good, hell yeah, let's do this." William said as he got up. The Slayer walked over to his ancestor and made eye contact with him.

[Once you have confirmed whether or not Roth is alive, find a means to reach a radio and inform us. Afterwards, the Slayer shall do what he is most skilled at] VEGA said, followed by the Slayer cracking his knuckles loudly.

FIN

Finally! I am so sorry it took so long. Looking for jobs, working at my new job has taken a lot out of me. Just happy I could get this done before the New Year! Be sure to leave a review!
