It had been a slow day for the Special Victims detectives, once all the detectives had gotten their paperwork finished and put away. Normally it had taken forever but for the first time in forever they got it done. The Captain, Olivia Benson had let her detectives leave early.
Amanda Rollins had risen rather quickly as she became very eager to get home to her two young daughters and boyfriend, Sonny Carisi. Fin was ready to get home to his beautiful wife Phoebe who had been carrying their first child, a boy. And the newest detective, Kat Tamin, wanted to stay and learn more but wouldn't ignore Olivia's orders.
Just as the group was heading out for the night a woman came rushing and when Fin had seen her he stopped freezing in his place.
"Clarissa?"
The woman, Clarissa, stopped seeing him. "Fin"
"Everything alright?"
She noticed the other detectives watching in a state of shock, Olivia had even been surprised. Clarissa looked at him nervously.
"Can we go somewhere and talk privately?"
Fin looked to find and Olivia had spoken up. "Feel free to use my office Fin"
The older Sergeant had sent a grateful smile to his longtime friend and guided Clarissa to the office and closed the door. Clarissa stood nervously as she looked at him and it had been making him grow more and more nervous.
"It's been a long time Clarissa, about what? 15, 16 years?" Fin asked.
"Just about. Listen Fin, I need your help with something" She replied, just as nervous.
"What's wrong?"
"I haven't heard from my kids in almost a day"
"Have you checked with their friends?"
"They said they haven't seen them and this isn't like them. Liam and Holly are more responsible than this. They know if they are going anywhere to call and check up. Neither of them has called me"
"Would their father have them?"
"No. They don't know their father. I haven't seen him in years"
"Could they have tried to find him?"
"I don't know, they don't have any of his information"
"Could he have found them?"
She swallowed hard. "No because he doesn't know about them either"
"Is there any way to get in touch with their father?"
"There's no need. I know who their father is and where to find him"
"What's his name?"
"You. It's you, Fin. You're Liam and Holly's father"
