My second update of the day, I hope you all like it! This will be the last update for a bit, but I nearly have Chapter 4 complete, and it should be out in a few days at most. I am also working on a surprise one shot about Zach and Violet that will come out this week!
In this chapter the moment we have been waiting for happens, Zach and Violet finally meet, but not under the best of circumstances. His villainous ways are showing in their first meeting ;)!
There is also a bit of foreshadowing to later portions of the story, if you catch it, let me know in the reviews!

"You are sooo lucky, Violet!" Paige whined as we neared the Greatest Minds of Our Youth Science Camp. We had been on "vacation" for about a week now, and the day came when we were scheduled to arrive at the camp for me to move in and begin my "summer of educational fun."
"Why do you think so, Paige?" I asked, already knowing her answer. She tossed her bleach blond curls to the side and looked at me with her striking hazel eyes. I was envious of her good looks; my straight, light brown hair was so boring.
"Well, there are going to be so many cute boys there, and they are going to be so smart." She looked out the window with a dreamy gaze as Amy spoke up, "You are only 15 years old; it is not time to worry about boys yet, and that goes for you to, Miss Violet."
"Yes, ma'am," Paige and I responded in unison. Paige with an annoyed voice, and me with a hint of laughter. Paige believed she would be married and have a baby on the way by the time she was 20. Boys did not like me, so I doubted that would ever happen for me.
As we pulled up to the camp about an hour later, Paige howled, after seeing a few of the older campers and counselors, "Ohhh, they are sooo cute, mom, please, please let me stay!"
"Nope, no can do, little lady, you are coming home with me to spend the summer working on improving your grades in summer school," Amy responded as we got out of the car and began unpacking my belongings.
The camp was a whirl of activity with parents and guardians, campers, and counselors all congregating in the main courtyard as they greeted each other and looked for where they needed to go. We knew which cabin I was assigned to, so Amy and Paige asked a counselor standing near us, and she pointed us in the right direction. As Amy and Paige trekked ahead of me, I lagged and took in my surroundings.
I noted that the cabins were named after the stages of the scientific method: Purpose, Research, Hypothesis, Experiment, Analysis, and Conclusion; I was in the Hypothesis Cabin. Aside from the cabins that housed the campers there was a dining hall, an observatory, and a mammoth science lab, among other buildings I had not yet identified.
The camp was surrounded by trees and a large lake, which I was drawn to. I figured growing up on an island chain, surrounded by water, makes one who is used to seeing it comforted by the sight of other bodies of water.
I turned around and walked backwards while I gazed at the glimmering lake. A few moments later I bumped into someone, and we both tumbled to the ground. A shrill, whiny male voice soon filled my ears, "WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING!"
We all know who she bumps into, right? Yep, it is Zach! Who else has that signature whine you can hear even through the screen you are viewing?
Trust me when I say overtly whiny and mean Zach will not be around for more than a few chapters. A revelation will allow him to forgive Violet for her "terrible transgression" against him. Do you have any guesses as to what the revelation might be?
