A/N: In this I'm using tmtcltb's headcanon that Sasha grew up in America but her family was Russian Orthodox Jew

Sasha and Ravit sang 'Maoz Tsur' as they lit the first candle for Hanukkah. Their friends watched on quietly.

When the women finished, they smiled softly at one another as it had been a few years since they celebrated Hanukkah and it felt good to return to their traditions. To celebrate with the family they found after surviving pandemic, famine and war. A moment of silence passed before Ravit and Sasha turned to the group.

"That was beautiful." Kara said.

"Now what?" Frankie asked, Ravit and Sasha smiled at the young child's impatience and innocence as he didn't know how Hanukkah was celebrated.

"We eat!" Ravit said excitedly,

"I got this." Burk said, he blew out the candles. Sasha and Ravit gasped in shock. "What?" he asked.

"You never blow out the candles." Sasha said, stunned as Ravit was speechless. She'd never seen anyone blow out the candles on a Menorah before.

"Oh shit." Burk said as he quickly re-lit the candles in a panic to fix it. "Better?" he asked.

"I-uh-" Ravit stammered as she was still processing what had happened.

"We should eat. It's fine but we'll talk later about it. Ok?" Sasha said Burk, she pushed the stuttering Ravit towards the dining room as she didn't want to make a big fuss out of the massive faux pas that had occurred. She made a mental note to tell Burk why it was important to let the candles burn out later in the afternoon.

"Dude." Cruz said disappointed.

"Bro, even I know you don't blow out the candles. It's not a birthday cake." Miller said.

"Didn't you read the books?" Wolf asked confused as he had read a couple of books and even he knew you did not blow the candles.

"None of them said it wasn't ok to blow out the candles. I just thought it's a fire hazard when left unattended." Burk said in a low voice.

"Don't dig your hole any deeper." Danny told him, he made a face that made Burk feel like he would be sleeping on the couch tonight. He clapped Burk on the back before he went into the dining room to join the others.

"It can only get better from here." Burk promised himself in a low voice before he followed the others.
