So first off I would like to respond to the reviews(thank you by the way!) Katsuki's behavior is out of character, that is on purpose. He was affected by an outside source which you will meet this chapter. It was not a fully heartfelt apology, it was something he was told to do. Secondly, I'm glad you guys are interested in the pairings. Momo is always my personal pairing for Izuku and I think the other two would just be interesting pairings.

Bakugo's POV(1-hour Pre-apology)
" Bakugo are you okay sweety?" Mitsuki's voice was high pitched with worry and it grated on Bakugo's nerves. He could already feel his palms itching with the feeling of the slightly viscous sweat he produced.
"Shut up you old hag." Bakugo snarled as he brushed past her, he almost made it before she cuffed him over the back of the head. His mother was many things, but weak was not one of them. The blow caused him to misstep and that was all the farther he made it before he felt his ear get grabbed and pulled back to the front doorway.
" Apologize and thank the nice policeman for bringing you home," Mitsuki said with a smile, that had something off about it. Perhaps it was the radiating aura of malice she was producing. The policeman's smile, Bakugo noticed, became rather tight around his eyes at the display.
" Thanks for the ride home, and sorry for the trouble." It came out low and dispassionate even to Bakugo's ears, but thankfully it must have been good enough for his mother because she released him. He heard her talking with the policeman as he made his way down the hallway leading to the bathroom, where he immediately started stripping the sticky goo covered clothes on the floor and let the hot water start running. Before long Bakugo stepped into the burning water and felt some of the stress slide away. He lost himself there where no one could see him, he felt his eyes start to water and his breath start to come out in gasps. He punched the wall soon after, instantly feeling the first and second knuckle dislocate from the force. The hot pain burning through his hand was the trigger for the floodgates, he started crying. He had been saved by fucking Deku, he had been useless, he had gotten captured and had to be saved. He heard the door open slowly creaking and his mom's voice rang out louder than the sound of the water around him.
"Bakugo, when you're done meet me in the main sitting room. We need to talk." He didn't respond he kept laying into the reinforced wall of their home. Somewhere between the third and fourth punch, he heard the door close again.
It was fifteen minutes later he sat on the couch in the living room across from his mother.
" You don't have to talk about it, in fact, I don't expect you to. I'm your mother I know how you are. You're a good and strong boy Katsuki, but there is no shame in what happened. If you ever want to talk to someone, me, your father, a councilor. I will make it happen." Bakugo kept staring at the floor in front of him. His mom's voice wasn't judging, she may be shrill and a pain, but that was one thing that he could respect she never judged him.
"However," and here he heard that tone, the one that promised not only a beating but a swift and brutal one if he disobeyed.
"You will go thank Izuku, I know you aren't friends, I don't care. He..." Bakugo looked up then as he heard his mother choke on her words.
" He saved your life Katsu-Kun." He would never admit it, not even under pain of death, but he rushed over to his mother then and hugged her. She cried into his shirt and he hugged her. He hated hearing his mother cry, it was really all the motivation he would ever need to do anything.
" I'll go." It was short and blunt, but he meant it. He felt her nod into his shirt as she released him. He looked anywhere other than at her, he knew she wouldn't want him to see her like this. He slipped his shoes back on and was out the door before anything else could be said. Nothing else really needed to be said. He hit the sidewalk running, if he went fast he could catch Deku at the crosswalk.

Todoroki's POV
It was probably the third time he had been launched to the floor by his father Endeavor that he lost control. The temperature in the air dropped 20 degrees in an instant frost covered the immediate area around him and his breath came out as a thick fog. It didn't last long however then suddenly he was covered in water, the temperature in the room spiking harder than he thought possible, easily a fifty-degree swing. The heat was so high it was impossible to breathe, he chocked as he tried to draw in the arid burning air.
" NO!" and suddenly he couldn't breathe for another reason, the hand crushing his chest onto the floor being exactly it. He felt his vision going dark at the edge.
" Well." he thought to himself " It's not like its any different than usual" and then he thought no more. The last thing he heard was his father raving about how useless he was.
He jerked awake with the feeling of a cool rag on his face and his entire upper torso feeling like he had an elephant sit on it. As he leaned up he looked down at his chest. When he looked down he saw light first degree burns on his chest in the rough shape of a hand. The next thing he noticed was his sister sitting next to him in the same place he had been thrown.
" Oh Shoto, you're finally awake. I... I did the best I could. Your body's natural cooling made sure the burn almost didn't happen, but you know father." Her voice fell quiet after that.
" What, did you do to anger him this much? Shoto you know you can't do this, one day he's going to go too far." The way her voice fell to a whisper broke Shoto's frozen over heart.
" When he slammed me to the ground, a reverse grapple into a throw, I lost control. For just a second I saw his eyes light up, he must have seen something, but I reacted... wrong. I let out a burst of perma-frost, and he countered almost immediately." He explained as he ran his fingers over the newest scar on his chest. Another scar to add to the collection he already sported. He released just enough ice to soothe the burning feeling on his skin and then he stood. He wobbled dangerously close to falling when Fuyumi helped center him. He felt his lower back spasm and he grunted. A back injury was never good.
" When Father comes home send him to my room, I'll be in the bath my back is injured." It wasn't the first time he had used Fuyumi as a go-between, and he was thankful that she never complained. She was mostly safe from their father's wrath. Shoto however wasn't that lucky. He stepped into the bathroom and began filling the tub with hot water, hotter than most people could stand. An unfortunate side effect of his quirk was that he was temperature blind up to a certain point so if he wanted it to help him he would need to run the water very hot. After the tub was filled he stepped in and sat down letting the burning water work at the muscles of his back. He let out a hiss of pleasure before he sank down to his shoulders letting the water run over his entire body. he closed his eyes enjoying the peace while he could.
Izuku's POV
" This, young Midoriya, is what I call The All American Dream Plan." All Might said as he handed Izuku a notebook filled to the brim with notes and schedules and even an eating plan. He blinked at the notebook before he began flipping through it eyeing the plan All Might had set out for him. The cool breeze blowing in off of the ocean ruffled his hair slightly knocking a single strand down between his eyes, but he barely paid any attention to that. He was thinking, doing mental math, planning ahead, strategizing.
" It won't work." Izuku let out softly. " This timeline leaves me no time for quirk training, no time for even testing out the quirk you'll be giving to me. You're wanting me to take the quirk the day of the entrance exam with no time to get used to it."
"Young Midoriya, you must trust me." All Might said to him. " I know I may not look it, but I am quite intelligent."
"All Might I know how intelligent you are, but I've done quirk analysis, without the requisite time to train especially with a Quirk as strong as yours I won't have the necessary ability to use it. I'll need..." And here he paused raising one finger to the air and moving it at seemingly random and then grimacing
" Three weeks I think, listen give me a day. You need me at a certain muscle density I assume? Is it written anywhere in here? Maybe if I upgrade the scaling of the muscle growth part of the training up, no no wait that wouldn't help. Perhaps cutting the lipids down to a fraction and then increasing the carb intakeM Perhaps if we..." Izuku continued on in this matter planning forward muttering to himself. Finally he was shacking out of his mumbling when a hand landed on his shoulder which caused him to jerk his eyes upward.
" Young Midoriya, It seems I have underestimated you once again! Truly your heroic spirit is only UPLIFTED by your prodigious forward thinking! If you say you will need three weeks then three weeks you shall have, but I must warn you this training will be excruciating. It will drive you BEYOND what is normal, it will be... THE PLUS ULTRA AMERICAN PLAN! For now young Midoriya, you are free to go. I will meet you here once again tomorrow morning with an updated plan." All Might announced to Izuku, before bowing to him and then launching away notebook in hand.
Izuku kind of nodded his head and then looked out at the beach, he remembered when he was younger the beach was a nice place. His mother and father had taken him here once where he had run and played in the surf until nightfall. It was one of the last memories of his father that he had. It had been years now since the accident, and while memories sometimes strayed through his mind he tried to focus more on the present and less on the past. He found his feet carrying him down the steps and onto the sand where he kicked off his shoes and felt the sand slip between his toes. He continued walking forward as he carefully picked his way through the trash and refuse that people had left there. After nearly ten minutes he finally managed to reach the waterfront where he sat down and watched as the waves washed over his feet. The water was cooling after the jog he had taken to get here to meet All Might. He sat watching the waves for a while before he decided he wanted to feel more of the water. He pulled the legs of his pants up and wadded a bit deeper into the water until it was up to his mid-shin. He walked there for a short time until he lost interest in the waves and the cooling water. He stepped back onto the beach and looked back towards the city. He started to pick his way back to the steps where he had left his sandals when he noticed that if he just shifted a few of the things in his path he could clear a way for anyone to get to the water without any troubles.
It didn't take him long, a TV shifted to the side here, and a small pile of what looked like mechanic parts quickly picked up and thrown onto another pile of garbage there. His small project took him the better part of thirty minutes and he was winded by the end, but now there was an actual path from the base of the steps out to the water. Good deed done for the day he sat on the steps for just a moment getting his breath back when he heard
" Oh wow, did you do that?" Izuku whipped his head around to look at the lady who was standing there with her phone out.
"uh I guess, I did. It just looked like it needed doing." Izuku replied with a big smile.
" Can I get a picture of you down by the path you made? There is this section in the local paper I read where you can report people who are helping the community and I think it's amazing that you did this!" The woman said gesturing at her phone then down at the path he had made.
" She sure is bubbly" Izuku thought as he nodded in her direction then hopped up and stood next to his little path. He stood there awkwardly for a second not quite sure what to do with himself before he raised his right arm in the air, fist raised to the sky.
" Ooh so heroic!" She said as she snapped a picture and then waved as she began moving away. Izuku loitered for a bit, before finally deciding to head back to his house.
The walk back wasn't long thankfully, he didn't live that far away in all reality. Before he knew it he was back at the front steps of his house. He felt almost as if he was on autopilot as he slotted his key into the lock and turned it. He felt the door swing open before him showing the inside of the house in much the same way he had left it when he had received the text from All Might asking to meet him at Dagobah Beach before the end of the day.
" Zuzu, is that you?" He heard his mom's voice call out to him from the kitchen.
" Yeah mom, it's me, I just came back from my meeting with All Might-San." He said as he kicked his sandals off and made his way into the kitchen where his mom had been busying herself in. His mom was honestly a rather beautiful woman, he thought to himself as he moved around her. She was tall with beautiful black green hair, and a lovely smile. She had made quite a living as a real estate agent, and while she wasn't the most successful realtor ever she made a very comfortable living doing it. Her success made her very sought after meaning she could make her own schedule around Izuku's needs oftentimes being the parent who showed up to more events than any other.
" Oh, did everything go okay?" She said giving him a small smile looking away from the vegetables she had been chopping.
" Um, as well as it could go I suppose. All Might-San told me what the training would entail, but we kind of got into a disagreement." Izuku said as he leaned into the open refrigerator pulling out a soft drink.
"Oh Zuzu, are you okay? I know he's your idol." Inko said as she fully turned around leaving the vegetables unattended.
" Well he had come up with a training regiment and dietary plan, but it didn't leave me any time for when I actually... accept his quirk however that's supposed to work. So we went back and forth for a while and then he got really excited and said he would reinvent the plan to give me time to actually work with the quirk." Izuku said as he fidgeted with the can in his hands. He heard his mother hmmm and then turn back to the vegetables continuing to prepare the food. Izuku leaned against the wall sipping from the cold can in his hands making small talk with his mother about a new building she was being asked to look into selling when the phone began ringing from the living room.
" Izuku, could you get that for me while I wash my hands?" Inko said already moving over to the sink.
" Yeah, mom I got it." Izuku said as he picked up the receiver and answered " Midoriya residence, how can I help you?"
" Is this Izuku Midoriya?" the voice on the other end of the line asked him.
" It is, with whom am I speaking?" Izuku said as his mother finally stepped into the room. " I'm going to put you on speakerphone now, my mom just entered the room."
" Hello, My name is Kumi Shizuka(1), I'm calling to speak with the parent of Izuku Midoriya in relation to case: 1Z906YOO6. " The woman announced, clarifying her position and the reason she was calling.
" I just had some follow up questions and was making sure that everyone in the household knew about the event."
" Oh yes, as soon as Izuku made it home he let me know what had happened and to be expecting this call. What can we do for you today officer?" Inko noted in a cheery voice.
" Well that answers quite a few questions right off of the bat mam, so thank you for that. I just have a few more questions. Is Izuku hurt in any way? Will he be seeking any kind of medical treatment? If so please let us know we have a fund set up to pay for such things as per the Horrific Misuses of Quirks Law. Will Izuku be available if the police need him to answer any questions?" The several rapid-fire questions caught both Inko and Izuku off guard and Izuku answered first.
" Well, I'm not really hurt in any way, but I was thinking of seeing a therapist. I'm not quite sure how to deal with the fact that I... permanently disfigured the sludge villain. As for future questions, I have no problem answering anything asked of me" Izuku said slowly, looking at his mom. He hadn't actually had a chance to talk to her about it yet, but he didn't really think she would have a problem with him seeking help.
" Well that answers my questions, if you do decide to seek therapy please let us know, we would be more than happy to assist in any way possible. In the future, you can ask for me by name as I have been assigned your case on a permanent basis." Her voice was very light and cheerful clearly happy that she could assist in any way possible.
After a few more minutes of pleasantries, the woman hung up letting them know once again that they could call her if they had any problems at all. Izuku let out a low breath he didn't know he had been holding before looking up seeing his mother eyeing him he spoke
" I was planning on talking to you about it soon, I promise. I just, wasn't sure how to start. I'm not really sure how I'm feeling about what happened and I feel like a professional might help."
" Oh dear, I have no problem at all letting you speak to someone. If you think you need help then I will do anything I can to help that's my job as a mother, after all. Tomorrow after you talk to All Might we can go into town proper and look for recommendations for a psychiatrist for you to talk to. It will be no problem at all I swear." Inko said as she moved towards Izuku wrapping her arms around him.
" Thanks, mom, I know things have been hard, and I've probably not made it easier accepting what I have, but one day soon, we won't have to worry about anything anymore. I'll be the person who can make you smile, I'll be the hero who can make anyone smile." Izuku babbled as he hugged his mom back. He kept going for a while before his mom backed away smiling at him with tears in her eyes.
"I'm going to go finish dinner, why don't you go grab a shower and then we can spend some time together." He watched her leave after that, making her way back into the kitchen where he could hear her softly hiccuping after the tearful events that had just unfolded.
He went to his room first grabbing sleeping clothes before turning around and making his way back down the hall that lead to his bathroom. Once there he started the water first, giving it ample time to warm up. While he waited he pulled his shirt up over his head and looked at his chest. He wasn't in the best shape he admitted to himself, he had a bit of stomach fat, his arms while not noodles, lacked any kind of definition, and that's not even mentioning some of the scars he had from his run-ins with Bakugo and other bullies. They didn't really hurt, they just felt odd as he ran his fingers across his skin. Where normally it was unblemished skin every once in a while it would reach the raised edges of a scar. He didn't know how long he stayed there, staring, before he finally broke out of his trance and stepped into the shower letting the warm water make his normally untameable hair fall and stick to his head. He let out a happy sigh at the relaxing feeling of the water raining down on him.
