Izuku woke early the next day, rising as the sun did. He poked his head out from his doorway looking toward the kitchen first and then the living room second, checking for lights. When he determined that there were none on, meaning his mother was still in bed, he ducked back into his room and quickly changed into workout clothes. Making his way to the kitchen he quietly opened the cabinets and fridge preparing a simple breakfast of granola and milk along with a banana. He ate silently thinking of his coming meeting with All Might. He knew from his looking through the plan that he was to clean the beach and do certain workouts at the same time. Raw muscle work along with targetted training of specific muscle groups. It was certainly a well laid out plan, but Izuku still had his reservations about the previous version of the plan. He really hoped All Might had been able to work something out for him to have the appropriate time for quirk training.
Finishing the last of his food he ran some water in the cup he had used before gently setting it in the sink. He scooted his feet across the floor leading to the living room where he took a stray piece of paper and a pen where he wrote a quick note explaining to his mom that he was going out to meet All Might. While that was where he was going, it was still several hours too early. All Might wouldn't be at the beach for at least another 3 hours.
Izuku locked the door behind him as he shouldered the work out bag he had made up last night. It contained water bottles, some healthy energy bars, and a change of clothes, all things that he knew he would need before the end of the day. He started off on a light jog towards the beach making sure to keep the bag he had slung over his shoulder level so it didn't slide off. It wasn't a long jog, but he figured that it would do him some good to start incorporating any little bit of effort when he could.
After his impromptu jog landed him at the beach he began stretching out in the same manner he had seen in the planner. It was fairly simple he supposed. Touch his toes without bending his knees, full-body bends forward to the sides and backward, bring his knees as high as he could and then swap legs doing the same. Along with several other simple exercises, he could remember doing before in gym classes. By the time he had finished what he could remember it had been thirty minutes and he was out of breath laying on the warming sands that made up his training area. His arms felt like lead pipes and his legs weren't really moving when he wanted them to. Finally, after he caught his breath, he pushed himself up to a sitting position using his arms to brace himself. He looked around him then, finally taking stock of the garbage piles that stretched away down the beach in both directions. It was... extensive, there was every manner of household appliances from microwaves to washers and dryers. Further down the beach, he could see what was once garbage bags but the weather had ripped them open spreading the contents in the wind. Even further down the beach were the... oddities, random bits of trash he couldn't really identify except for one thing that was haunting his thoughts, a full-sized pickup truck that appeared to be smashed up and wouldn't move. He didn't know what he would do to get it moving let alone get it off of the sand.

Bakuguo's POV
Silence, it was a rarity in the Bakugo household. Always some kind of movement or sound, always some sign of life. It was the way his mother and father had always been, and he fits into that just fine. He grunted as he rolled out of bed already halfway to the kitchen for something to eat. He sat at the table and a plate of food was placed in front of him. He didn't even pay attention to what it was he just shoved it in his mouth and started chewing.
"Thanks, dad. Where's mom?" He said after washing down the food with a glass of juice.
" Went out for a shopping trip." He replied without much thought as he placed the dirty dishes in the sink to be done later.
" Alright, I'm going down to the basement for training. If you need anything yell." Masaru stopped what he was doing and turned around his brain finally catching up with what was going on. His son, however, had already left the kitchen and was halfway down the stairs to the reinforced basement where he did his workouts.
"Son... Since when do you act so politely?" He whispered to himself watching after him.
The first thing he did was flip the lightswitch as he walked down the stairs. When the lights flicked on he went over to the sound system that had speakers scattered around the ceiling and turned it on. Instantly sound exploded outward drowning out anything else that could have been heard. Only then did he move over to the corner of the room where a rack of weights sat.
" Can't let it happen again, can't be so weak that I need saving." He said as he grabbed the next set up from the ones he normally used and began his workout routine.
" Can't save anyone if you can't keep yourself moving." He muttered as his muscles strained under the heavier weights. He continued lifting, switching arms applying the weight evenly between the two until a sheen of sweat had sprung up all across his body. He continued doing his normal routine with the heavier weights straining his muscles as much as he could. Once he had gotten a good burning in his arms he placed them back on the rack he took them from.
" I have to be stronger because right now as I am I'm not good enough." He said as he walked over to the treadmill and set it for a grueling five-mile uphill run. The machine whirred as the engine kicked on and adjusted to the settings he had put in. He stepped on it and had to start running immediately to not get launched backward. His footfalls came fast and steady as he worked himself into an even heavier sweat. Eventually, he was running full pelt against the machine's insane pace. The run left him exhausted and as the treadmill slowed and eventually stopped he let himself be carried off of it by the last rotation of the belt. He felt his legs wobble at the impact, but didn't let that stop him as he moved over to a set of hooks with what looked like oversized rubber bands on them. He took them down from the hooks and immediately began placing them under his feet before attempting to move in a variety of ways the bands tensing under his movements providing resistance.
It was to blasting music and the stench of sweat that Mitsuki was met with as she walked into her basement. Masaru had informed her that Katsuki had acted strangely, even thanked him before he went to train. Mitsuki frowned as she turned the blaring music off and looked around the basement training area. Normally her son would at least yell when someone came down the stairs. She spun around with a sense of urgency thinking the worst and she was met with something along the same lines. Katsuki was passed out leaning against the wall next to the resistance bands. She hurried over to him to check his pulse and was relieved when she felt it strong and steady if not slightly elevated.
" Fool boy," she muttered as she turned and walked to the connected bathroom. It wasn't much a small sink, a stack of towels, and a compact shower. She hmm-ed as she reached for a large spray bottle sitting on the counter next to the sink. The bottle was unassuming, clear with some sort of liquid sloshing inside of it. The most interesting thing was the pile of particulates that sat at the bottom but quickly disappeared as she shook the bottle. Walking back out of the bathroom she began twisting the head of the bottle off.
" Oh Katsu-Kun, wakey wakey." She said in a sweet voice as she dumped the bottle over his head.
"FUCK!" Bakugo screamed as he jerked awake and tried to activate his quirk only to startle as he realized that it wasn't working only resulting in slight pops of force instead of his normal explosions.
" I used the denaturing bottle on you(1). You were passed out in a pile of your own sweat and I was worried what would happen. Go shower, and come get something to eat it's noon already." She said as she took the bottle top in her hand and walked back up the stairs.
Bakugo frowned to himself, He had pushed it too far and he couldn't even keep up with his own training. He really was useless.

Todoroki's POV
Pain. That was normal for Shouto to wake up to. Sometimes it was the spot where his kneecap had its tendons ripped out. Other times it was the ache of his shoulder where it had been broken. On more than one occasion it had been one of his many scars that had phantom pains, the worst being his facial scar. He groaned as he rubbed his palms into his eyes and then dug the eye crust out. He got up after that, changing out of his sleeping clothes into something more presentable.
He walked out of his room yawning as he walked into the living room looking for... ah, there it was, the morning paper. He opened it up and began reading over it searching the hero news section. Hmm, nothing about his father that was odd.
" Father was called away, he said he would be back in a week. He left his card and money for us." Fuyumi said as she set a bowl of rice with two eggs sitting on top in his lap, a moment later she placed a mug of warm tea on the stand next to where he had sat down at.
" Eat up, I know how you are. You'll start training your self to exhaustion with your ice powers as soon as you get a chance since Father is out of town." She said with a bit of sass to her voice.
He looked down in embarrassment at his sister correctly guessing his intentions before he had even considered his course of action for the day.
" Well, It won't do to leave you to train on your own. Your quirk is stronger than mine, but I can still show you a few tricks, Little Brother." Fuyumi said as she walked out of the living room. " Meet me out back when you're ready."
He swallowed the bite of rice he had just taken and said "Okay I'll be out in a few minutes"
True to his word he met her outside a few minutes later changed into his workout clothes. Fuyumi was already there creating waves of ice as she moved.
" Alright Shoto, you know my quirk. Hypothermic Movement, when I move I can drastically alter the temperature of the air that comes off of my body(2). I know you can do something similar, but your real strength lies in your wide area coverage. For now, just focus on using your power as you breathe. Something I've learned is that my ice seems more sturdy when I exhale on my quirk usage. I don't know why, but I've proven it a few times." She demonstrated some arm movements for Shoto who watched her intently.
" Hmm, It still amazes me that your quirk can be used in so many ways. With a flick of your wrist, you can send a sharp needle of ice, but if you wave your arm a thick sheet of ice flies out. I'm honestly jealous. I have no ability to do anything small." To demonstrate his comments he kicked his heel on the ground and a light wave of frost spread outward in a wide wave.
" I had problems doing small stuff as well when I first started. It took a lot of hard work for precision effects, you will get there. I believe in you. For now, just focus on the way the ice feels coming out." She punctuated her words with a small smile and a tap of her foot on the ground which resulted in a direct line of ice the width of her foot being shot out.
" The way it feels? What do you mean?" Shoto said as he slowed down his breathing.
" Ice isn't something that is always going to come out the same. It has different qualities based on the type of ice you need. Soft Ice is the type of Ice you use when you want to change the temperature of whatever you are hitting as it will shatter and turn to "Diamond Dust". Hard Ice would be next when you want to impact someone with a lot of force. Thirdly would be Clear Ice, it's main use is for building or making things, it is very sturdy and difficult to break without significant force." She said as she formed all three types of ice for him to examine and experiment with.
" I never knew that there were such differences, I will need to take this into account when I practice from now," Shoto said as he sat cross-legged on the ground and tapped the grass attempting to create the different forms of ice.

Author's Notes!
(1): Nitroglycerin can be made inert with a mix of Sodium Chloride and Glucose, the exact ratios aren't publicly made available, but it's basically sugar and salt mixed with water. Just a fun bit of Chemistry for you
(2) Fuyumi's Quirk isn't listed anywhere that I could find so I made it up on my own. Her quirk directly affects the air that comes off of her body. A flick of the wrist? That's a blade of ice flying at you. A sweep of the arm? That would be more like a large sickle. Does she throw a punch? A chunk of ice flying at your face. ect ect. If you have any questions leave a review and ill try and answer!
