Passing an alley, he heard a moan and he looked up and saw a young woman with ashy gray hair and wearing back garb, sitting on the ground, holding her ankle, "E-excuse me, are you alright?" the young woman jumped and looked up to see Shido approaching her, "Do you nee-"
"Please…just leave me alone…I don't want to go back to there," Shido stood over her and looked at her in confusion, "They'll torture me…I won't go back!"
Feeling the ground shake, Shido's eyes widened before he knelt down and tightly hugged the young woman, surprising her, "You're a Spirit, aren't you?" the young woman cried into his shoulder, "And the place you're talking about has something to do with the DEM, doesn't it?"
"I don't want to go back…they tormented me,"
"And you're not going back," Shido scooped her up bridal style before standing up, "We'll go to my house…there are a few Spirits living near there and you'll be safe,"
