"Yeah…I know," Kotori sighed as she began eating her lunch and her friends stared at her with concerning looks crossing their faces.
Kotori sighed as she stepped through the front door and saw Shido on the couch, "Hey…Shido?" Shido hummed as he looked back in confusion, "What are we?"
"What are…who, Kotori? I'm a little confused,"
"Us, you and me…what are we?"
"Adopted siblings an-"
"Exactly, we're adopted siblings, so there's no blood between us," Shido's eyes widened as Kotori moved and sat on his lap, "When mom and dad first adopted you, I was too shy to talk to you because…because I love you, Shido and I want us to be more than just siblings and since we're not technically related, we won't be breaking any laws,"
Shido sighed as Kotori frowned, "Kotori, for the past five years I saw you as my little sister, and that nothing will change that," Kotori sighed as she hung her head and shook slightly, "But…living under the same roof with you, seeing how much you've grown…I want to make you happy, and…I believe it's worth a shot at the very least," Kotori looked up with wide eyes, "Why don't we go to Danny's for dinner tonight? I know not the most ideal place for a date, but you always enjoy their food and plus we won't have to worry about the others crashing it," Kotori slightly smiled and nodded.
