(A/N: *searches for Izatake Enemies to Lovers Actor AU on this site and found nothing*. Let me fix this and contribute this fic that no one asked for. Fourth part of my short, collection series called, "Fire in my Heart." I've had enough of Izatake angst and manga angst for today so, I'm taking a break on that. Also, I might be able to do the one-shot sequel fic for my fic "chasing your paradise" in the future once I have the right inspiration and mood to write drama and angst once again. Additionally, ratings might change in the future because of mature content. Lastly, I don't own this franchise.)
Chapter 1
By: Aztec999
"I'm in love with you for a long time. I tried to fight it because I know it won't get anywhere since you just see me as a friend, but I guess I'm an idiot because I ignore what my common sense is telling me and just listened to what my heart says. And that is to tell you and let you know that I'm irrevocably and hopelessly been in love with you… for a long, long time." His voice cracked as tears stream down from his face and his expressive blue eyes glimmered with intense emotions as he stared directly into the beautiful silver haired man who possessed a pair of deep, mauve eyes that also shined with pent-up emotions.
The rainfall mingled with his tears but they both don't care about that as the raw admissions from themselves were engulfing their mind and senses.
"You…" The other man trailed off as he walked slowly towards the crying male and closed the gap between the two of them, cupping his cheek gently and claiming his lips in a deep kiss.
The crying male seemed taken aback briefly but slowly closed his eyes afterward and returned his kiss soulfully.
"You don't know how long I've waited for you to say that. I'm willing to wait for you if the price is going to be with your arms forever since the feeling is mutual. I'm also deeply in love with my best friend…" He murmured against his lips and carded his other hand through his wet locks.
"And cut!" Someone yelled over a microphone.
The rainfall had ceased dropping from the machine at the top of their surroundings and there's less than two seconds before the two male leads sprang away from each other like they're allergic to one another.
The once warm and expressive facial expression of the silver haired man turned into annoyance and dissatisfaction as he walked away from the set, the staff parting for him as if he owns the place.
"Izana! Wait up! We need to check the next scenes for the movie with the director!" A young lady with a long, blond hair yelled from behind.
"I needed a short break. These fucking clothes are heavy and sticking to me like a damn luggage because of having to shoot several takes in the rain scenes." Izana replied in irascible voice as he went to his designated room and slam the door shut.
"Izana being on one of his mood swings again." The lady shot the director an apologetic smile.
"I'm used to it. Our darling Izana knows he's the big thing here so he had certain quirks that is usual for a high-end star like him." The director sighed as he reviewed the latest scenes from the camera.
Meanwhile, the other male who was left behind was shivering now because of the coldness of the water pouring down earlier and how his clothes were wet and cold against his skin.
"Here you go Takemichi." One of the staff handed him a towel to which he gladly accepted and wrapped it around himself. "You can take a quick bath and probably a short break since we're going to prepare some stuff and interiors around the building for the next scene." The staff stated to which he nodded before the staff left him. Takemichi didn't bother to speak since his voice might shiver and crack from the coldness of the water and he made his way into his own designated room.
Takemichi took a deep breath as he shed his own clothes inside the bathroom and took a quick, warm bath under the showerhead. He could still feel his lips tingling from the sensation of having to kiss Izana thrice in a row because their meticulous director wanted to get the perfect shot of the scene in their upcoming movie that is one of the highlights of the film itself. Their director once berated them earlier for their lack of certain emotions that's needed for the romantic confession scene between the two main characters who are in love with each other since their childhood year. In short, a friend to lovers' trope kinda story.
It's not his fault that Izana was a goddamn asshole most of the time that it kills the mood and his skill as an actor.
"Fucking bastard. Who the hell does he think he is acting like a big shot like that?" Takemichi grumbled in annoyance as he scrubbed his head with some shampoo.
While it was true that Kurokawa Izana was one of the hottest male celebrity right now in their generation it doesn't erased the fact that he's a high maintenance bastard.
Or in other words a goddamn male prima donna.
While Izana was one of the most sought out and talented actors of their generations because of his oozing sex appeal in television and numerous acting awards that he received in the past, it was no secret that he was also a temperamental, vain, picky and difficult to work with. A lot of staff and other celebrities can attest to this. If he didn't find the script to satisfy his tastes, he was outspoken about it. If he finds someone irritating to work with, he will tell it to their face and report it to the director. Nevertheless, his fanbase kept growing and lot of fans were still head over heels for him. He wasn't even active on his social medias like Instagram and Twitter but when he posted something, it will garner to thousands up to millions of likes and retweets in just a span of few minutes.
That's how powerful and magnetic his aura and personality was.
But it doesn't really excuse the fact that was an asshole and a bastard to boot.
And the staff only tolerated him because of his star power and talented acting skills.
Takemichi scoffed as he turned off the showerhead and reached for the towel to dry his hair. If not only for the requests of their fans to pair up together for this movie, he also wouldn't accept it regardless of how promising the film was since he didn't want to have anything to do with Kurokawa Izana.
He would only consider his company if the world was ending, or some desperate shit would happen to the planet right now.
"For how long we're going to shoot this goddamn movie?" Izana scowled as he entered the director's office and sat down cross legged in one of the available couches.
The young blonde followed him behind, a sigh leaving his lips. "Izana do we have to—."
Izana cut her off sharply. "No Emma. I've had enough. I can't stand working with this newbie Hanagaki. He's late, he can't deliver his lines well and he's not good at picking up the right momentum to execute the correct facial expression for an important scene!"
"He's just late one time and it's not his fault that he got lost!" Emma defended him.
"Well, it's also not my fault if he can't adjust his time properly and just shit at navigation." Izana scoffed.
"Hey, you two be quiet." The director slammed both of his hands at the table, catching their attention.
"Izana darling we all know that you're the important thing right now, but you really need to tone down your high maintenance attitude sometimes. I get that Hanagaki Takemichi is still a rookie in this industry, but the fans want both of you together. And both of your management had already agreed and signed a contract for you to work together in this movie so no amount of tantrum would stop us filming this one and make Takemichi kick the bucket out of this project even if you dislike him. Besides, we're almost near at the end of the movie and we're just going to shoot few important scenes in a span of at least 2 weeks so you can bear with that right?"
"Ugh. Fine. But I'll talk to the management after this one." Izana sighed in half exasperation and in half defeat.
The director just threw up his hands placatingly. "Right. Why do you even dislike the newbie that much? Takemichi isn't that bad. Yes, he had his own faults but he's learning from them. And have you seen the latest shot of the scene? It's splendid. Artistic. Fans wouldn't even suspect a damn thing about the real status between the two of you because of that mind reeling emotion and chemistry that you displayed in that scene together!" He gestured his hands animatedly.
"Oh, please. Don't remind me of it. And again, how long did it take before we get that shot?" He rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Stop acting like a kid Izana." Emma piped up. "It's a good thing Takemichi is still a professional and was trying to tolerate you. If I were him, I would've sock you in the face a long time ago."
"And this is why Draken is still not dating you because of that attitude my dear, little sister." Izana shot back.
"Why you—?!"
"Okay, okay! I guess all is well now. Maybe you can bring that outside and not in my office." The director intervened and arched a brow.
"You're lucky the director cut off this time." Emma sticked out her tongue at him.
"God, I can't stand your childishness sometimes." Izana's brows twitched in annoyance as he stood up and was about to leave the room when the director's next words stopped him, and he didn't know what to feel if he was just damn unlucky today or destiny was playing tricks on him.
"By the way Izana, prepare for the next scene because there will be an intimate shot in the building. And what I mean by that is that there will be a bedroom scene in the next shot so you and Takemichi better prepare yourself. I need to get the right results for this one."
(A/N: Reviews are entertaining so let me hear them from you.)
