"Tvs, Radios, and Text via book or newspaper... when those are around..."
I let out a quiet yawn as I trudge through the mountainous path, hand resting upon the cliff face beside me.
"Man... this is a pretty perilous trip..." I mutter mostly to myself as I look over to the sheer drop on my other side.
"Es-peon." A white Espeon nods as it quietly pads behind me.
"Buuut it's a lot quicker and easier than cutting through Driftveil, crossing the Charizard Bridge into Nimbasa, cutting south through the desert and into Castelia... then getting a boat to go across the Virbank Bay into Virbank city... and then having to travel through another city and like two more routes just to get to our destination."
"P-Peon." The Espeon sighs.
"I know, right? Why the fuck don't they make a road from Driftveil to Virbank?! Those cities are literally the closest thing to each other!"
"Espeooon." The fox agrees.
"Anyways, I'm hoping with this heading we can skip Virbank entirely and slip into Floccesy Town, then from there we can continue south west along Route nineteen into Asperita."
"Espeon?"
"Why are going this far for our first gym?" I question as I glance back over my shoulder.
"Esp-Peon." The fox nods.
"It's a normal type gym... and frankly, at the higher end of battling... there's not too many strong normal types... sure, there's some pokemon... Exploud, Snorlax, and Slaking for instance, yet... the Gym leader there has only been a gym leader for about a year... there's no way he has trained up pokemon to that level yet... and while the League would give him normal type pokemon to flesh out his team for different levels of challenges, I doubt he has formed a good enough bond with said pokemon to completely make use of their talents... in addition, there are probably dozens like me who see him as a 'starting' gym, so he potentially gets less challengers at higher levels of strength giving him even less opportunity to fight with his stronger teams."
The Espeon behind me lets out a hum of acknowledgement as the path begins to widen.
I look to my watch and nod quietly as a holographic map is projected up into the air above it.
"We're making good progress." I mutter lowly. "We'll probably make it to Floccesy within five days... maybe a week if we get hit by some unpredictable spring weather."
Pov: elsewhere.
A cloaked girl leaps through the treetops as a fluttering dragon type follows along behind her.
So, this is Unova, huh?
It's colder than Hoenn.
The girl's Altaria lets out a low titter as it continues flying behind her, merely there to catch her if she misses a jump.
Traveling in the wilds like this is pretty dangerous... most of the truly impressive pokemon tend to stay away from humans... thus, places like this are their domains.
She pauses as she hears something, quickly shifting her leaps through the treetops and pausing at the edge of a clearing.
A whitish-grey haired teen is walking through the forest casually, a small vulpine pokemon trailing behind him, it has a blue gem on its forehead and large mysterious looking blue pools for eyes.
Its ear twitches abruptly as its long cat-like tail which forks into two lashes through the air.
"Espi... Espeon..." It mutters to the trainer.
"Hn?" He hums as he stops walking. "Yeah, I felt it too."
The hairs on the back of her neck raise as the teen looks in her general direction.
He abruptly turns the other way. "But I feel that this is a much larger thing to worry about."
A figure dashes into the clearing, arms held out behind it as it slightly hunches in its run.
It stops at the edge of the clearing and waits, glaring towards the trainer.
'what the hell is that?!'
It is bipedal and almost completely covered in metal plates, it looks as if it is a living suit of red armor with accents of black, silver, and gold here and there, it has large gnarly looking metal blades on its forearms, and a large axe-like blade aligned with its head, in between its eyes, at its chest it has more large blades, pointing forwards like a ribcage made of swords.
"A Bisharp huh?" The trainer hums disinterestedly.
Bisharp?
"Espe?"
"You didn't sense them? Hn. Must be the dark typing... they are steel-dark, so fighting is extremely good against them." The seen lazily shrugs.
"Es- Espeon."
"Oh... you can sense them?" He mutters.
"…"
"You may need to clarify that later." He notes as he watches
Dozens of smaller red knight-like creatures rush out of the forest. Some form of pre-evolution to this 'bisharp'. Unlike the big one, instead of something that even slightly resembles hands, these just have extendable blades.
"Ah. They never go around without a bunch of goons, huh?" He humorlessly chuckles.
The trainer lets out a long sigh as he closes his eyes. "Alright, I wasn't able to trigger this against Watchog, but let's see if it works now."
He suddenly opens his eyes.
A foreboding pressure descends on the black haired Draconid, her eyes widen as her hands shiver and shake the Altaria who had landed in the branches beside her stiffens, it looks around in surprise before eventually locking onto the trainer.
The miniature knights halt their charge, all seemingly locked in place.
One by one they begin collapsing to the floor, fainted without a single attack being thrown.
Even the leader pokemon is affected, falling to its knees at it lets out a surprised gasp.
After a moment... that pressure is gone, the teen lets out a low hum. "Oh hey... it worked that time. Neat... sort of didn't expect it to work this well..."
What the fuck what that?!
The Espeon shakes itself off and lets out a cute cry. "Espe-ooon!"
"Yeah... sorry about that... seems like I still can't control it, huh? At least I can sometimes willingly activate it instead of it coming in random bursts."
He crosses his arms as he watches the steel type pokemon force itself back up to a standing position, it lets out a feral growl as it launches forwards.
"BISHAAAAA-"
"Flamethrower into warp kick." He abruptly commands.
The Espeon behind him glows brightly as it steps in front of him, then without a moment of hesitation, a tremendous cone of flames shoots forwards, engulfing everything in roughly thirty feet from the gleaming figure.
Thin in the next moment... its gone.
A grey Flareon appears in the air beside the screaming steel type, its tail lashing out behind it as its entire body seems to tense.
*THOOM*
It kicks both of its back legs out abruptly, much like a raging Rapidash might, launching the steel-dark type away from it like a shooting bulletseed.
After around four seconds of air time, it finally makes contact with the floor, rolling to a stop a short distance away, a crumpled heap of a pokemon, its body broken and deformed. It doesn't get up.
The Flareon scoffs and walks back over to its trainer, standing beside him as both turn their attention to the tree the girl is stood in.
"So. It's unusual to meet someone so far out in the middle of nowhere... who are you?" The white haired teen questions.
the girl audibly gulps as she carefully looks to her pokemon.
He is-
Well-
It'll look more suspicious if she runs right now...
Meanwhile.
According to the readings... that power should be right... here?
A girl covered in high tech armor stands at the entrance of a cave, a small floating alien-like purple dragon hovering around her.
"Well... this... is it, right Poi-boy?"
The little poison type's glowing blue eyes gleam slightly as it floats past.
"Poi! Poipole!"
This darkness allows her to stop using this stuffy visor which is pretty nice.
As she steps into the cave, her helmet clicks back allowing her murky silvery eyes to see through the cave.
There's some form of humidity coming from deeper within the cave that feels cold upon her bare greyish blue skin.
She sharply inhales then exhales.
"Alright, Poipole... let's do this!" The girl exclaims as she enters the cave.
She slowly wanders into the darkness, coming to a fork in the path.
She decides to go left, continuing on for about four minutes...
She comes to a rock wall, causing her to click her tongue and turn back.
She goes down the right path, eventually coming to another fork in the cave causing her to let out a quiet sigh, seeing how this is going to go.
After around an hour of getting lost in the tunnels the girl pauses as she comes into a large cavern, her eyes widen as she looks around, a large crystal glitters in the center of the room, rainbows are cast all over the ceiling.
"Woah..." The girl breathes as she looks over the abandoned city. "it's... beautiful..."
She lets out a cry of surprise as numerous vines abruptly sprout from the ground, pinning her arms to her sides and with a single yank, pull her down onto her knees.
"Poi! Poipole!" Her partner gasps as it flutters down.
*Vmmp*
It is trapped in a cage of psychic energy.
The entire destroyed village seems to come alive, foxes of all sort seem to peek out from behind rubble, reddish lizards and black haired reptiles too.
Orange dinosaurs with flames at the tip of their tails, fluttering fuzzy bat-like creatures with large round yellowish eyes, a couple stubby little bird pokemon with purple glowing symbols on their fluffly looking heads, even a few scampering lizards with large blades at the corners of its maw.
But primarily fox and dog-like pokemon...
"POI! POIPOLE!" Her partner shouts as it tries to reach out only to let out a weak cry as it is zapped by the bars of its psionic cage.
Psychic energy is super effective against poison types...
"Stop it!" The blue skinned girl shouts. "Don't hurt him!"
Two fox pokemon slowly wander forwards, one a minty green color with an orange gem on its forehead and the second a white and light blue pokemon with large pink-tipped streamers coming from a bow on its ear and a bow on its neck.
The girl's eyes stray from the green one to the other as it slowly approaches and stops in front of her.
Even in this dire situation one thought comes to mind.
'cute...'
Its streamers wave through the air for a brief moment as they reach back.
The restrained girl lets out a squeal of terror as a serrated combat knife is pointed at her face, the pokemon with bows letting out a dark giggle. "Syl-ve-ve-veon!"
"Espeon..." The other sighs.
"Syl?"
"eon..." The other nods.
The knife droops slightly as the remaining three streamers gesture to the girl. "Sylveon?"
"Eeeespeon..." The other titters its eyes glowing dimply.
The red haired girl flinches as her helmet is swatted off her head, it clatters to the floor behind her as the white and blue fox looks back to the other.
"Espeon." The greenish fox nods as it gazes into her eyes, its milky white pupils gleaming within the dark purple iris as the orange gemstone on its forehead begins to brightly glow.
"What are you?"
"H-Huh?!" The girl gasps. "W-Who said that?!"
"Me. The green one in front of you."
"W-What?" She whispers to herself, her eyes growing wide.
"I am speaking to you telepathically. Now. What are you. Who are you. And why are you here."
A massive lizard slowly lumbers forwards, a sack on its throat inflates as it lets out a low growl that sounds eerily similar to the low rumbling of a vehicle.
"I would suggest answering quickly... Kori here isn't exactly the patient type."
"M-My name is Zossie. I am a Solunarian who is a part of the Ultra Recon Squad. An organization that was created to investigate ultra-wormholes. I am so so so so sorry if I offended you by being here. I-I didn't mean it. Our sensors were alerted to something in the surroundings that felt like a pokemon that had passed through an ultra wormhole and I came here to take it back to where it belongs."
"Koraaaidon..." The large reptile huffs as it looms over the girl, looking down at her.
It sniffs the trapped poison type and lets out a scoff as it turns away. "Don."
The silvery eyed girl fearfully looks to the minty green pokemon.
"He said that you won't find anything like that... strange one... behind you here." It supplies. "The only thing that smells even remotely similar is young master's pokemon... Gaia... and even then, it's not Gaia herself. She is a native pokemon... it's just her armor."
"C-Can I speak to this... 'young master' of yours?" The girl weakly questions.
The fox stares for a long moment.
"The young master left on a journey four days ago. He said it would be quite a long one so it is unlikely that he will return any time soon."
"O-Oh..." The red haired girl whispers as she looks down sadly. "I see."
"But. He will return someday."
"Sylv? Sylve-vion~" the blue and white fox giggles.
The psychic type pokemon blinks at the other's apparent suggestion, its gaze slowly scouring the girl. Eventually it cocks its head to the side and lets out a low hum of intrigue.
It closes its eyes as it seems to think about something for a few moments, eventually standing from its seated position and looking over its shoulder and calling out into the cave. "Espeon."
The vines around her slacken and fall off her body as the cage of energy falls from her friend who protectively flies in front of her.
"If you wish... you may stay here." The psychic pokemon offers. "We would have some issues with humans remaining here... at least those not approved by our young master... but... you aren't human... you also don't use those detestable spheres to forcefully catch pokemon, thus I suppose you are better than the average human."
"I... can stay here?!"
"Yes. If you wish to, follow me. I will lead you to where Xander used to stay. If not. Leave and never speak of this place."
"I... I'll stay here... I really should talk to him about how he managed to gain something from the ultra wormholes..."
"as you wish..."
Pov: Later.
"So... why did you want her to stay?" A fox with brown fur and a tail that resembles a long leaf questions the lime green psionic fox.
"Fae gave me an idea..." It quietly answers. "An idea that... certainly intrigued me just a little bit."
"Oh?" A third questions as it walks up, a greenish spikey fox with a white mane, it takes a seat beside the two other Eeveelutions.
"It's pretty simple, Triad." The psychic begins. "Fae brought up a couple points about her that certainly intrigued me. she doesn't use the spheres, for one. That little purple thing following her is doing so of its own will."
Two glowing eyes peek out of the window of their adoptive child's house.
"Poipole! Poi!" It gasps as it darts away, the three Eeveelutions ears twitching as they hear it exclaiming something to the girl within.
The Leafeon and Jolteon look to the Espeon, the prior voicing a question on their mind. "Is that how humans hear pokemon?"
"Yes. Yes it is." The psychic answers.
"Hn. Not very... verbatious." The Jolteon notes.
"You two do realize that... that... is exactly how Xander hears most of us, right?"
"R-Really?" The leafeon stutters.
"Not you, no... nor the ferroseeds... But most of us, yes." The Espeon nods. "His mind is quite defensive, so even I with my telepathy cannot speak with him unless he is willingly lowering his mental defenses. It's times like that where I wish I could become a Leafeon instead of only an Espeon and Umbreon."
"Anyways." The psychic grouses. "As I was saying. She does not use the pokeballs which most humans use... in addition she is... strange... her eyes aren't meant for sunlight. Her body is well muscled despite her diminutive frame. She's strong... really strong..."
"I was able to glean some basic things when I was connected to her mind... this world is a lot bigger than any of us had ever thought... an infinite number of worlds exist out there... each having the potential to have even more unseen... 'pokemon' Like that one with her... and as a part of this 'research scout' thing she has been to many of these worlds... doing things that would be impossible for the standard human... lifting several hundred pounds, running at speeds that would put even some of the more nimble pokemon to shame, and fighting alongside her little partner there in order to complete her missions."
"Okay?" The leafeon questions. "What does that have to do with her staying here?"
"Well, Greenie, it's once more quite simple." The Psychic grins, its bared teeth possibly appearing to be quite threatening if you ignored its lime green ears perked up. "She looks human, right?"
"Yes?"
"But she's not." The Psychic continues.
"I guess? Humans don't have grey skin." The grass type nods.
"She's also better than a human and respects pokemon."
"Well, it hasn't been long enough to figure out the second thing, but the first is correct if what you say is true." The Leafeon nods yet again.
"So, she's a strong, fast, and durable person who respects pokemon as friends and doesn't use pokeballs... wouldn't she be the perfect mate for Xander?"
"ooooh." The Jolteon hums. "That is an idea. It wouldn't do to have the Welsh tribe die out... madam wouldn't have wanted her legacy to end that way..."
"Indeed." The Espeon nods.
"How do you even know if they can do that?" The leafeon questions, being the youngest, bashfully and embarrassedly skirting around the topic in question. "and successfully make... a child?"
"Oh. It'll work... if we can mate with a Rapidash, surely... suuuurely Xander can successfully mate with somethings that's looks just like a human... only with a different skin tone."
"Hrn... I don't know if he'd like the fact that we are trying to pair him up here." The Leafeon sighs.
"Oh, believe me, he wouldn't mind." The Jolteon scoffs. "I saw how lonely he was getting here... those times where he got on that... com...puter thing to do some research... those pictures of women at the edges of the flashing window that sometimes showed up. I saw how sometimes he'd stare and stare. Honestly, I think the main reason he left the Welsh village in the first place was to find a mate to come back with."
"Maybe. Only time will tell." The espeon lowly hums.
Pov: returned.
My eyes widen slightly as someone slides down the trunk of the tree.
'What the hell?! Why is she here?'
"Hey. Neat trick there." The girl compliments as she offers a wave.
A fluffy looking dragon type flutters down from the treetop with a small melodic tweet. "Altaaaaaria."
The girl has short black hair with a portion tied behind her head, tan skin, and red eyes, she wears a black tanktop-like shirt that clings to her figure, red accents on the straps and the chest area, a pair of tan short shorts with a red rope tied through the top part and used as a belt, around her shoulders she has a tattered white cloak with large black scales used as what's basically shoulder pads.
She wears some form of open toed shoes with long white leggings that reach up to just past her kneecaps in the front and below the bend in her knee at the back, around her right leg is a piece of coiling metal shaped like a large spring that is made to look like a long eastern dragon, in its head is a rainbow marble with a Dna symbol deep inside of it.
A keystone...
"My name is Xander Welsh." I begin quietly.
Her eyes widen. "Welsh?! Are you serious?!"
"Does... that mean something to you?" I mutter with a raised eyebrow.
"You are telling me that you are a part of the ancient Welsh clan?!"
"Mental note... don't say my last name around people." I sigh.
'What? Did the system's meddling truly extend this far? Huh... neat. That works in my favor, then.'
"Ah, I wouldn't worry about that. That name wouldn't mean much to anyone but me..." The girl waves off, now far more at ease, tension bleeds from her shoulders as she gives me a prideful grin. "I'm Zinnia Draconid."
"Draconid? Oh... so a tribeswoman, hn? You're quite a ways from Hoenn... what brings you out this far?"
"That..." She begins quietly before letting out a quiet sigh. "I came looking to capture the black and white dragons that crashed that little pokemon tournament Unova has... a little over two years ago."
"You seek to capture Reshiram and Zekrom?" I question with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh? You know of them?" The girl hums, a slight glint in her eye.
"Probably more than you... yes... you are probably more in tune with Hoenn legends." I shrug.
"I am." The girl pridefully nods. "But... before anything else... is the Welsh village somewhere around here? My journey was... eventful... and I'd like to have a place to rest where I don't have to worry about something like..."
She gestures to the numerous unconscious Pawnard.
"Them. Sneaking up and gutting me in my sleep."
"Flareon." Loki mutters while looking away, being uncharacteristically downtrodden by her question.
"The Welsh Village... is no more... I am the last Welsh... or rather, my mother was... I hold most of the secrets of the clan, I know most of its legends and lore... but the traditions died with my mother."
"Oh..." She whispers almost mutedly. "You... You too?"
"Huh?"
"I am also the last Draconid... at least... the last that I know of... that makes me the Lorekeeper for the tribe by default I guess... and you for the Welsh."
"Well... damn." I sigh as I scratch the back of my head. "It sort of sounds like we have quite a bit in common... want to join forces?"
"I... should really continue to search for the black and white dragons... wait... are you also doing that?" She questions.
"It's more of a side goal." I nod quietly.
"What could possibly be your main goal if securing legendary pokemon are merely a side goal?" The girl mutters.
"The Gym challenge." I shrug with a small smile as I turn and begin walking away, Loki perking up and strutting behind me.
The red eyed girl looks confused and begins following along behind me. "Why are you wasting your time with the Gym Circuit? Don't you have better things to do?!"
"Better things to do than challenge the strongest in the realm? Pushing my pokemon's strength higher and higher as I test my mettle against far more experienced foes who the very region deeply respects slowly working my way up higher and higher until I reach the summit and can fight against THE strongest pokemon trainer in the entire region?!" I question with a grin of wanderlust.
I pause and look over my shoulder. "Wait... a 'waste of time'? Are you sure you're a dragon trainer? Your types are typically the kind to go crazy over this sort of stuff, right?"
"I-" the girl begins only to frown and look away. "Normally, yes, I'd be all for pushing myself and my team... but there has been a lot on my mind recently... and I don't think I should be goofing off right now."
I look to the three pokeballs at her hip.
"Look. I get that you really need to catch Reshi and Zek for some personal reason... but if that Altaria is the strongest on your team... you'd get absolutely slaughtered... what's your plan if you find them? Try to talk it out? Out of all the legendary pokemon you've quite possibly picked the trio where that little route will be the hardest."
The girl hangs upon a single word in that sentence. "Trio? There's a third?!"
"There is... well, I suppose calling them three would be inaccurate... there's a reason why they are so weak compared to most legendary pokemon... they were originally a single pokemon... but they split into three."
"They split? Why? How?!"
"There were two princes a long time ago who used the original dragon to bring prosperity to their land, with something called the 'Dragon Force'. Lo and behond, the two princes started fighting, thus the dragon split into truth for one of the twins, and ideals for the other... there of course, was Kyurem who was the bits left behind... the 'nothingness'… while Reshi and Zek are pretty standard among dragon types personality wise... Kyurem... isn't the same... he is like a ravenous animal. Constantly eating and destroying to try and get what he lost back."
"Could... this Kyurem theoretically return to its complete form?"
"That is my goal." I nod quietly.
"Hnn..." The girl lowly hums. "Alright... I suppose we can work together. I sort of doubt that I'd be able to beat them by myself... so it'd help to have an extra pair of hands."
"I'd suggest not even bothering until you've got a full team." I note as I glance over my shoulder. "You've got three pokemon, right? And the draconids are dragon-type specialists, right? Kyurem is a dragon-ice type. He'd fuck your shit up so bad."
"Especially if that Altaria of yours is a key part of your team..." I continue with a frown towards the blue and white cloud-like dragon circling overhead.
"I feel like I would be fine." The girl frowns.
"…" I stare in absolute silence for a moment. "Do you even fucking hear yourself?! I get that you have that 'dragon trainer pride' but my god. Are you actually being for real right now?"
"I am! So what?"
"…"
"What pokemon to you even have?" I frown at the girl.
"Well... I have Altaria... and a Shelgon... and a Whismur..."
"You want to fight a legendary pokemon... and your team isn't even fully evolved." I question as I rub my temples. "Are you suicidal?!"
"I- I was planning on fleshing out my team a little on the way..."
I shake my head as I continue walking. "It wouldn't be enough. Mega evolution might help... but I don't think you have any megastones, do you?"
"Oh... so you know of mega evolution?" The girl mutters.
"Quite a bit, yes." I nod as I fold my arms behind my head. "The Welsh tribe didn't have a keystone... but we did know of them... plus we sort of kept a list about which pokemon could mega evolve."
"Oh? Any dragon types?"
"Altaria, and Salamence for two... then Garchomp... oh, and Charizard is special in that it has two forms, one where it keeps its original typing, and a second where it gains the dragon type."
"Hydreigon?"
"If you plan to add a Hydreigon to your team... I wouldn't bother... just skip over that pokemon... Hydreigon is called the 'brutal' pokemon because of how many people it kills. The number of people who can say to have 'tamed' its murderous wrath can be counted on one hand and it has nothing to do with the trainer in question, it just depends on if they are lucky enough to find a neurodivergent Deino... also no... I'm fairly certain the only Unovan pokemon that can mega evolve is Audino. That fluffy stubby pokemon that most nurse joys here use."
"So, it's impossible to train a Deino?"
"If you don't get a special one, I'd say so... the most you could do is keep it in its ball and only let it out when you want it to 'kill' something."
"That sort of firepower is just what I need!"
"Your funeral... besides... even if you do somehow survive, you'd just be overshadowed by the lucky ones... like me..."
Her eyes lock onto the back of my head, a slight mad glint appearing in her eye. "You have a Deino?! Show me! Come on! Please?!"
"If you are still around when I make camp for the night, sure, I don't see why not."
"Woah... is... this normal?!" The tanned girl asks, throwing caution to the wind as she rubs her face into the fuzz around the dragon type's neck.
"No. He's around six times larger than the standard Dieno." I answer as I sit by a small fire pit, Loki laying across my lap in his small black Eevee form.
"An alpha?! That's badass."
"Do you... have no fear at all?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.
"I've seen a true legendary dragon before. The type that's as big as skyscrapers and could eat an entire herd of Donphan in a single bite." The girl snorts. "That sort of puts the rest of the type into perspective and makes them look cute in comparison."
"Hn." I hum. "I see... I still wouldn't recommend doing this to other Deinos... Azi here is probably the most well behaved Deino out of them all... normal Deinos just chew and bite whatever moves around them... and, well, Azi, show her your teeth."
The dragon's gums pull back revealing a row of dozens of inch-long serrated, and hooked fangs.
"Oooh! What a pretty smile!"
"Alright. You're fucking bonkers." I scoff as I cross my arms over my chest.
"Heheheh." She lowly laughs to herself.
We fall into a silence a short moment later... eventually the Draconid girl breaks it. "So, what was that spooky intimidation mumbo jumbo you used on the red knight pokemon?"
"You know the aura a fully evolved pseudo legendary pokemon projects?" I answer.
"Oh? So, you've figured out how to do that but as a human?"
"I was raised by a Hydreigon, after all." I shrug with a sly smile.
"Damn... that's pretty hardcore." The girl notes. "Anyways... I've thought about it for a little bit and I've decided... I'm going to travel with you for a little bit... I also might as well attempt the gym circuit... as, well, you're right in saying that my team isn't the best it could be. I want to really push them, so I guess the Gym circuit thing is where it's at... I can prove myself better than the best of Unova and take the crown of that new dragon trainer that sits as Champion!"
"Champion is a lot of work, though." I point out.
The girl blinks for a moment as she corrects her statement. "I will rise through the rankings, defeat the most elite trainers, topping the champion, and when her team is on its last legs I shall gracefully surrender to avoid the position entirely while having a majority of my team healthy and rested as to not debate if I could have taken down her final pokemon!"
"Big dreams." I note with a small frown.
'well, I guess there are worse travel partners to go with... I could have been stuck with someone like... I don't know... Gary? Or that one disgustingly nice guy from Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee... or fucking Goh. A feral dragon woman is pretty neat all things considered...'
Plus, she wears a tight form-fitting shirt and casually shows off her thighs, bringing some much needed eye candy to my little quest.
Maybe she'll make my journey just a little bit more interesting...
Well, here's another chapter! We finally meet Xander's first traveling partner, a psychopathic dragon trainer who was fully willing to let Team Aqua and Team Magma kill possibly millions in order to call down Rayquaza to stop a meteor from 'extinct-ing' the planet.
At least it works well with Xander... as long as it helps save the planet, it's clear that she's cool with basically whatever.
And while this is going on, in the background, a horde of fluffy boys and girls are grooming an alien to fall in love with their 'adoptive child' who is older than all of them... they just don't know it.
Guest Reviews:
Guest 001: Him saying 'five percent' was correct because that was how much it improved by.
His Base: Creating a pocket dimension would be EXTREMELY expensive... like, far more than the skills he bought recently.
Guest 002: Why breath fire when he can casually just rip them in half.
Guest 003: Yep, technically, the only weakness Gaia has at the moment... is fighting type... but even then, I doubt they'd be ever effective due to the sheer durability of life alloy.
Guest 004: Why did they make PRIMAL Salamence weaker than the original is what I want to know. Like, they've got so many cool looking paradox pokemon, but at the end of the day it's sort of disappointing when you have a bunch of pseudo legendaries that are a good 30 base stat weaker than the average model of their species.
E.D.I: A marshadow would be pretty interesting... if you learned supernatural martial arts, it could copy your movements by hitching a ride in your shadow.
Guest 005: I imagine that the revival of ancient pokemon is HEAVILY regulated and patented... and there's a slight difference in between bringing back something that died and toiling over the microscope for years and years to produce a pokemon that is FAR better for murder.
Guest 006: I mean, he's alreadying giving ONE champion a headache... how much longer until he moves onto all 8
JustAFan123: He protects his mind through the system. It's a boon for merely having it. It also mentioned that he DID have a family in the first chapter.
Guest 007: Loki can be a fairy type at will, so he really doesn't need one.
Guest 008: No, Gaia doesn't speak english. Xander can just understand grass types.
Anyways, I'll see you all later!
