A week has passed since the incident occured. You and Yuji hadn't spoken a word from that day onwards. You didn't want to text or say anything first because Yuji got mad at you for speaking the truth.

Throwing on your school uniform, you dashed out from your room. Today was the sister goodwill event, and you were going to be in the monitor room with the staff. There was no way in hell you were going to participate. It would be unfair for all the students who want to get promoted if you stepped in the ring.

"It's going to be a long day…!" You sighed, wondering if food was going to be served or not. There's no way you're going to stay at the school on an empty stomach. They better serve some type of food because you didn't ask to be there in the first place. "Ijichi should be coming soon," since you don't live on campus, Ijichi is your uber driver from school and back home.

You folded your arms above your head as you did side stretches, pulling your side muscles for the long day coming. "Now, it's time to slip on my shoes,"

After putting on your shoes, you opened the front door to see a red envelope in front of you. You tilted your head to the side, wondering how it got here. You didn't have neighbors; your house was secluded from others.

"What's inside?" Picking up the envelope, you examined it as you flipped it back and forth. "There's no sender on it… Was it really meant for me?" Your brows knitted and you decided to open it anyways. Curiosity convinced you.

Your pointer finger hooked under the sealed tab and carefully ripped it open. Once the tab was unsealed, you pulled out a letter which said: I know who killed your parents. It wasn't just a curse user behind it

Immediately, you dropped the paper as it fell to the floor and stared at it in horror. Your body shivered from the eeriness, and your heart raced a mile away as this seemed so bizarre and terrifying. Blinking a couple of times as you regained your senses, you poked your head through your door to see if the perpetrator was hiding, but you saw no one. The street was empty like usual.

"What…? Who could've sent me this? Is this just a prank?" For some reason you believed it could've been Gojo, but he would never cross the line and bring your parents into this. He can be an idiot but he's not that heartless. "But," you bent over and picked up the paper. "Maybe this is real? Who else would've known a curse user was behind this? This information about a curse user causing it is confidential till this day. It's written as an accident on the report, and my existence was known to the world after their death too."

It made you contemplate really hard because it felt too true to be real. Nobody would be able to know unless they're the higher ups or clan members.

I know I should be scared and turn to Satoru for help, but if it's true that this sender knows the mastermind of my parents' death, I need to know too. Their life ended too short and put me into misery. It's also a coincidence that it's sent to me after I made contact with Kameko. It feels like this is meant to be! I want to contact them, but I'm not too sure yet. I can't let my hasty feelings get in the way. I need to think about this…

Biting your lips, you threw the paper in a nearby drawer so you can think about it later. It wasn't the time when Ijichi would be arriving soon.

After being picked up and dropped off at the school, you decided to waltz to the monitor room instead of gathering at the meeting grounds. You remembered Gojo telling you that he's gonna present the revived Yuji to everyone. It would've been great to see everyone's expression, but since you guys didn't make up, you didn't want to go. You can't pretend that it didn't happen when he literally got mad at you.

Meanwhile with the Tokyo and Kyoto students…

Once Yuji witnessed his friends' displeased expression of his return, he was extremely bummed. He really thought they would be crying since he's been 'dead' for a whole month, and he died saving them too so their reactions should've been better.

However, his brown eyes scanned the area and couldn't find you in the crowd.

Is she not here? I recalled sensei saying y/n would be here but where is she? I've been wanting to apologize in person to her.

Yuji did some self reflection and knew he took it too far and let his feelings control him. You were spitting facts that made it hard for him to accept. Yuji even talked to Gojo about it, and he even said something similar to you….

[Flashback — A day after the conversation between you and Yuji —

"Sensei, if Junpei was alive after the incident, would he still be able to become a sorcerer?" Yuji asked Gojo since it's been on his mind for a while. He wanted to hear it out of Gojo's mouth. He hoped Gojo would refute your statement because Yuji believes the second most powerful sorcerer can change people's fate.

Gojo, drinking his white chocolate mocha on the couch, looked up from his phone as he took a big sip from his drink before answering.

SLURRRRRRRP!

Then smacked his lips together, being the extra man he was on this planet. "That's a good question," he slightly nodded his head as he thought about it. "But why're you bringing it up?"

"Because y/n said he would be executed if he did live."

"Well, she's not wrong. He used his ability to hurt people, and the higher ups are strict with their policy. If you break the rules then you're dead. They don't give second chances unless I'm there, but they're cautious about what they can let me get away with too."

"E-even if he was innocent?" Yuji choked, still wanting to cling onto the small hope.

"Executed," Gojo emphasized and sliced his hand horizontally in the air. "Y/n didn't say it to hurt you and you know that. She's speaking the truth when it comes to serious consequences like that. Personal feelings cannot be intertwined when the hands of the innocent are involved. Justice has to be serviced fairly. Mother Kameko established a rule where you can't use jujutsu to hurt sorcerers or non-sorcerers. We've been following that rule for thousands of years."

Yuji's heart sank after hearing his response. There's really no way of saving Junpei huh?

"Did y/n offend you? Is that why you're asking?" The observant Gojo asked, noticing how different Yuji was acting. It's rare to see a sulking Yuji in Gojo's eyes.

Yuji simply nodded his head.

Sipping his drink, Gojo produced a tight laugh from his throat as his head was tilted up to the ceiling. "Raw emotions can clash against being astute, and that's what y/n is. Just like you, she carries the world on her back. She's a prominent figure who maintains balance and justice, overseeing all jujutsu activities. You know she never wanted this position, she was born into it."

As Gojo blabbered on about your duty, Yuji began feeling guilty because he completely forgot you're an important character in the jujutsu society. He recalled you don't get to live in luxury. Your normal life was cut short because of him and Gojo.

"Damn, when I see her at the goodwill event, I'll apologize in person rather than through text. I want her to see how genuine I am," ]

Yuji turned to Gojo and whispered in his ears. "Sensei, where's y/n? Didn't you say she'd be here?"

"Oh, Ijichi sent me a text saying she's in the monitor room. Maybe she's still mad at you."

Gojo only skyrocketed Yuji's anxiety even more as his face severely dropped into his glum state. He doesn't know how to deal with girls who are angry at him for good reasons.

Damn how should I handle this now? Yuji mentally punched himself as he didn't think you would evade him.

Before the game began, Yuji pulled Nobara to the side and asked for her opinion. He believed a girl would know a girl better than a boy. Her advice should gladly help him. "Kugisaki…" Yuji nervously tapped his fingers together as he felt Nobara's fierce glare attacking him.

"Hah?" Nobara projected her hurt feelings into her words, still trying to accept Yuji's action of pretending to be dead instead of letting her and Megumi know.

"So what do you do when a girl is mad at you? How do you confront her about it when she's avoiding you?"

His questions irritated Nobara. It bothered her that Yuji got into a relationship before her. She wondered who would date an airhead like him? Biting the inside of her cheek as she folded her arms, she spoke from her brain with no filter. "Damn, did you really get a girlfriend while you were playing dead? What a way to live a double life,"

The word 'girlfriend' stunned Yuji's heart as he didn't expect her to say that. To be fair, he felt embarrassed that Nobara misunderstood his situation as his face turned red. "N-no! I don't have a girlfriend!"

"Then why are you blushing?"

"You caught me off guard that's all!" Yuji tried to explain but Nobara wasn't going to hear any of it.

"Yuji, let her cool down until she's ready to talk about it. If she's avoiding you then she's not ready. It's as simple as that! If you keep chasing then she's going to find more reason to stay mad."

After that, Nobara left Yuji more confused than assured.

"Oh okay…" In the end, Nobara's advice wasn't helpful. A week is too long for someone to still be mad at him, but he'll ask another person later before the day ends.

Back to the monitor room, all the staff were sitting and watching the battle go on between both schools. Everyone was making bets and predictions whereas you wanted to go home. What made matters worse for you was the fact that you were placed between Utahime and Gojo. All you could hear was Gojo's stupid taunts spitting from his mouth as Utahime tried ignoring him. There's only so much Utahime can bottle up before she explodes on his ass.

Oh my goodness, why am I here?! It's like I'm cat-sitting Satoru. This man is going to be 30 in 2 years and he can't sit quietly without causing a ruckus… You were so close to punching him because he wouldn't shut up. You wanted him to be quiet for everyone's sanity. His own former teacher can't even control that man.

You were slowly losing your patience as your wick was at its end and the flame disappeared. Clenching your fists and holding onto your last string of imma-kill-that-bastard, you forced a tense smile at Gojo as your eyes were hollow. "…Satoru, if you don't shut up," you heavily emphasized on the word 'don't' so he knew you meant business. "I will slap the living hell out of you!"

Gojo gulped from your stern expression beaming into his soul. He knew when to stop messing around when you turned into the hulk. In fact, he's aware you can take his power away too so he doesn't cross the line. He prefers when you're calm and unbothered.

"Y-YES!" He stiffened up, following your order as he finally closed his mouth.

Utahime and the others snickered from his quick response. They couldn't believe you had the ability to control Gojo. They just didn't know how scary you can get when you unleash hell to the world. Gojo witnessed it himself when he ticked you off as a kid.

"Y/n, how does he listen to you?" Utahime asked in curiosity, flickering her brown eyes from you to the poised Gojo.

A chuckle slipped out from your mouth. "Because, he knows I can overpower him and I made sure that he remembered it too. I showed him who's boss!"

After the Gojo incident, the monitor showed a fight between Yuji and Todo.

You shivered from the sight of Todo. You couldn't forget your first encounter with that dude. He fell before you and cried. It's a good thing you didn't go to the meeting grounds or else he would've pounced you or something. You don't even want to know.

Although there wasn't any audio on the screen, you understood what's happening. From Yuji getting beaten up to him becoming besties with Todo. It baffles you but it shouldn't surprise you when Yuji's the type to attract friendship in his direction.

"I wonder what they bonded over—" Then it hit you. You remembered that Todo's ideal type is the same as Yuji. "Of course they would be friends… Tall girls with big butts,"

For some reason, you wondered what kind of woman Gojo likes? Your eyes gravitated to him as he felt your eyes and turned to look at you.

"What's up?"

"What's your ideal type?"

Gojo's brows rose from your question but decided to answer it anyways. "Ummm… Nice girls."

You blinked, closing your eyes for a few seconds longer than usual then opening them back up. His answer compared his own personality was too different. They're literally polar opposite. "You sound plain as fuck. Add some realistic traits to it. It's like saying you like eating chicken with no seasoning." You rolled your eyes at him. He disappointed you but what's new? He's too good at everything except getting into a serious and stable relationship. "Don't talk to me,"

"Y/n, what's up with your attitude today?!" Gojo cried, wondering what he did to offend you so easily. He saw you as a ticking time bomb.

"I said don't talk to me," you flicked your hand in his face with a lot of sass.

Meanwhile with Yuji and Todo…

Todo was training Yuji to improve his skills. Todo noticed Yuji's full attention wasn't there as something else was occupying it.

"Stop!" Todo loudly announced with his hand extended in front of him.

Yuji listened and wondered what Todo had to say.

"Your mind is not fully focusing on what you're doing." Todo's index finger poked Yuji's forehead as he talked. "There's something that's taking over your head and you need to let it go. Focus on one thing at a time. You can't let it hinder your performance."

Is it really showing that much? I'm trying my best to ignore it until later. Should I ask him? Yuji pondered and went with it anyway. It wouldn't hurt to try and seek out other people's advice rather than sticking with one.

"You're right. I do have something on my mind and I don't know what to do. Me and my friend—"

"Male or female?" Todo wanted to specifically know the gender so he could assess it correctly.

"Female. We haven't spoken for a week because I got mad at her for speaking the truth about a situation. I'm supposed to see her today but… She's avoiding me."

Oh? Does my brother have a girlfriend?! I bet he said 'friend' to cover it up because he's shy. And he's coming to me for girlfriend problems?! I'm so touched. Todo said to himself, physically holding his tears back as he felt so proud of Yuji. Although he doesn't know the girl he's talking about, he wishes him the best. Todo will give him the advice that all men need to hear.

"Brother," Todo landed a hand on Yuji's shoulder, giving him a comforting smile. "Chase after her. She's going to think that you're still mad at her if you don't. You have to make the first move so your relationship with her doesn't crumble. Show her that you still love and care for her."

Immediately, this boosted Yuji's morale as he grinned brightly. He ignored the part about 'love' since it wasn't like that between you and him but regardless, he does care deeply about you. His heart felt light and airy, and his chest wasn't heavy any more. Yuji couldn't wait for this battle to be over so he can find you and apologize.

"You're right! Thanks, Todo!"

Cutting off communications between me and y/n was hard when it extended more than 24 hours. The days felt so long and boring because we would text all day, everyday. But now that we stopped, it felt so lonely and troubling because I grew used to the daily routine. I really miss it! I want us to be normal again! Yuji's determination to see you soared.

On the other hand with you…

You were getting drowsy in the monitor room. Everyone including Gojo were all quiet, watching all the students fight each other than exorcising curses. You blinked a couple of times, trying hard not to doze off with your bobbing head slipping in and out of consciousness.

Shit I need to get out of here before I sleep on the spot…

"I'll be back," you excused yourself to the restroom to wash your face and to escape from the room.

After splashing cold water on your warm face, you gripped the rim of the sink and stared at your reflection in the mirror. Just looking at yourself reminded you of Kameko. It scared you how you guys look alike. In addition, because you saw your reflection, you recalled Kameko telling you to meet her brother Tengen.

"Since I'm on school grounds, I'll try finding him…" You mumbled. It might be an impossible mission because it's a maze to find Master Tengen in the first place. No one really knows where he's located unless you're the school principal, not even the higher ups know it either. Master Tengen is a mysterious person who's not talked about often. You weren't even sure if sorcerers knew Kameko and Tengen were siblings.

"If there's a will, there's a way, especially when I'm her descendant. I doubt Master Tengen will turn away from me either. Is he not curious? Because I am. I wonder how her child survived?"

Leaving the building, you went to find Master Tengen. You weren't really sure where you were going but it wasn't going to stop you anyways. Also, you didn't want to look or sound suspicious to workers on school grounds. Everyone knew the goodwill event was today and knew all students were participating in it, so you didn't want them to catch you in their view.

After 15 minutes of aimlessly roaming around random places on campus and popping in and out through many doors, you found it: the tomb of the star corridor where Master Tengen resides. You walked on the cobblestone, passing by a big stain of dry blood.

"Damn, what happened here?" You whispered, wondering why it hasn't been cleaned up but regardless you had other things to think about.

Then you spotted an elevator and went inside where it took you to another floor. There was a long and semi-dark hallway where you had to walk through. You didn't feel scared under the arched tunnel, it was the opposite feeling—it gave you warmth and comfort just like how your parents cherished you before their death. The familiarity made you wonder what environment Master Tengen lives in.

Does he reside in a place where it reminds him of home? I also wonder what he looks like too. From what I know is that he has to get a new body every 500 years or so.

A lot of questions filled your head as you felt excited to meet Master Tengen. Since you have Kameko's face, it made you curious about how he's going to react. You're not too sure if he ever met you.

Seeing a bright light at the end of the tunnel, you were met with a beautiful sight of a big tree trunk in the center of old Japanese houses surrounding it in a circle. You stood at the ledge where there were many levels beneath you, and on the top floor had staircases to reach the bottom.

"I'm guessing that's where he is,"

Carefully, you made your way to the base of the tomb. It was very quiet as the old buildings looked in ruins. It has preserved the old history of the past to the current era. You're surprised how the houses maintained their shape throughout these years. You wondered if Master Tengen goes inside the houses since there's so many of them surrounding the massive tree.

Once you made it on the main floor, you felt so tiny compared to the gigantic tree. It loomed over your figure like a tower on the verge of collapsing. It puts your heart in a small panic mode. Maybe if you came here often it wouldn't scare you but it does for now.

"Ah, my big sister's descendant. What a pleasure to finally meet you,"

Turning around you faced Master Tengen, and he wasn't what you imagined… He resembled an alien that has a thumb head. You believed he would've looked more human than not.

"H-hi…!" Your voice cracked, showing your astonished expression at his appearance. You didn't know where to stare without making him feel uncomfortable.

"Someone seems shocked. This is what happens when you don't have a vessel to merge into after 11 years. I'm more of a cursed spirit than a human."

"Huh?" He threw you information which you weren't even aware of.

"It's nothing to worry about for now, but what brings you here?" Master Tengen stood in front of you as his arms were folded across his chest.

You weren't too sure where to start but you were going to come clean about meeting Kameko. "I met your big sister and she said hi and she misses you. She told me to come find you if I ever have questions about her, Master Tengen."

Master Tengen's heartbeat ceased as you strongly resembled his big sister. No matter how many years it's been, he will never forget the face of his sister. A trembling smile tugged his lips upwards. Seeing your face reminded him of the day where he failed to save Kameko from death. He knew she had a gut feeling that she would die soon, but he didn't believe it would be faster than they expected. If he had the ability to reverse time, he would definitely do that to save her. Master Tengen's mind controlled his body as he threw his arms around you, pulling you into a secure hug and you knew the hug felt personal. His arms were trembling around your back.

"This tomb used to be my hometown where me and Kameko grew up, but it's now a secluded place where I reside alone." Master Tengen pulled back and sadly smiled as you felt your heart strings tugged. The pain of loneliness filled the cavity of his heart.

He stepped away from you, allowing you to have your own personal space. He didn't want to invade your bubble even if he missed the face of his beloved sister. Deep down he knew you weren't her and he had to restrain himself.

"What happened to her child?" You asked, wondering how her daughter survived the ordeal.

"I saved her when my attendant informed me what happened, so I raised her until she was old enough to fend for herself."

You imagined how heartbroken he must've been to see his niece be the only survivor, the only fragment of Kameko—his sister and mother jujutsu. Their house was probably painted in blood from the exterior and interior when he came.

"I lied to my niece that we had no blood relation. That was the only way of protecting her from the truth of her lineage. I didn't want her to be involved with the jujutsu world nor did I want anyone to know about her existence either. Who knows what would've happened if the higher ups knew. It'd be bad for both of us."

"You only did what you thought was right for your niece. I would've been the same too. Also, were you under surveillance like Kameko?" You assumed that if he wasn't then he could've done much more for his sister. Observing how much he missed and loved Kameko, he seemed a bit regretful and depressed about it, yet he's doing his best to compress everything for the sake of his humanity and job.

Master Tengen threw out a hefty laugh as nostalgia filled his mind. "Of course they did. Back then everyone knew we were related but now it's just a myth. They weren't as pressurizing like they were with Kameko but they did keep an eye on me. I didn't love it, but I managed to survive." A disdainful look was written all over his face.

Suddenly, something triggered your conversation to be cut short.

"F/n l/n, I would love to talk to you more but time is running short." His voice turned serious and grim compared to earlier. He knew something was up as he hastily analyzed it in his brain before telling you.

"What do you mean?" You weren't too sure what was going on except for the school event. Everything should be normal, or that's what you thought.

"Uninvited guests have entered my barrier, y/n. I don't know why they're here but I'm not safe." Master Tengen gripped your shoulders, spinning you around and gave you a small push to start moving you away. "You know where to find me, y/n. Also, never let your guards down especially towards the higher ups. I can't read into people's hearts, but I don't want Kameko's child to face the same fate as her though I have no power to intervene. Be safe!"

Master Tengen casted you out from his home, and you were forced to rush back to the outside world.
