Leaving where you came from, you kept running as you passed by many buildings until… You met the cursed spirit who allowed you to meet Kameko, Mahito. From what Yuji briefly told you about him was that he's able to contour a person's soul.

"YOU!" Catching Mahito's attention, his eyes widened as he ran away from you. "What the?!" You weren't sure why he's avoiding you. You really wanted to pounce on him for hurting Yuji and other victims of his. You weren't going to let him get off the hook. He has to be exorcised now.

However, before you could chase after him, another voice grabbed your attention. "Y/n! What are you doing here?"

Spinning around, you saw Principal Yaga breathing heavily as his body tensed up. You weren't sure if he was mad at you or not, but hopefully your explanation can ease his suspicion of you. "I went to—" you couldn't even explain yourself because Principal Yaga cut you off and explained the dire situation.

"There's a veil casted," he pointed up at the sky as you anchored your head back, seeing the black barrier covering the area where the sister event is taking place. You would turn on your nullification technique, but you didn't since it'll also take down Master Tengen's barrier technique too. So most of the time you have it off on school grounds so you don't disturb his technique. "I'm not sure what's going on but I'm on my way to protect Master Tengen. The others are going to protect the students."

You got the gist of it and nodded your head. "Understood! And also, I saw a cursed spirit on the way here but he saw me and ran away. I'll go help my friends and you can send someone to chase after the curse." Your gut feeling told you to say that to him because you knew he wouldn't let you chase after an unknown curse. Principal Yaga allows his students to go on missions if it is suitable for them, if not then he gives it to someone else. In short, he'd prefer you to take the safer route and focus on them than the roaming cursed spirit.

"Yes, get going and I'll send a sorcerer to it!"

You parted ways with Principal Yaga and ran full speed into the curtain separating that certain area from the outside.

Once you were inside the curtain, you jumped on buildings to see what was happening. It surprised you how you've been gone for a good 30 minutes and this is what you get. Your eyes scanned the land, spotting a spikey fortress made from wood in one area and demolished forest in another.

"What in the world…? Are we getting attacked by cursed spirits?" Recalling back to meeting Mahito, it's a possible answer. But what concerned you was how they knew where the school was located. You definitely didn't take down Master Tengen's barrier so you wondered who ratted this place out? "I should—" You were about to ask yourself where you wanted to go, but another voice cut you off.

"y/n you missed all the fun,"

You shifted your eyes at the one and only man who would consider fighting fun… Gojo Satoru. Instantly your shoulders shuttered from the image of blindfold-less Gojo. It creeped you out. You're so used to seeing his eyes being covered that when it's the opposite, you don't even want to look in his direction.

"Don't look at me with those creepy blue eyes!" You turned your head away, refusing to look him in the eyes. It made you feel so uncomfortable because it felt like it's piercing through your soul.

"y/n, I know I have gorgeous eyes! Don't shame me!" Gojo snapped at you, hating whenever you commented about his eyes. He knows you like it better when it's covered as he still doesn't understand but disregards it. You wouldn't give him a proper answer even if he asked.

"Shut up! So what's going on here?" You tried making eye contact with him, but it seemed to be too difficult as you kept turning your head away. You couldn't face him without a blindfold on. You just couldn't.

Gojo relayed what he knew then asked you an obvious question. "Are you going to turn on your nullification technique?"

"No, if I do that then it's going to affect everyone else, especially Master Tengen's barrier technique." You always have to think about your power cautiously because it can cause serious damage. You didn't want to slip up and make others suffer by your mistake.

"But didn't you use it against Kugisaki?!"

Gojo had a point. You did use it during that training day. "...Yes, but that's different because our training was less than 5 minutes, and this circumstance is different because we have outsiders invading the school. If I turn it on now, who knows what's going to happen. I don't want to risk anything since we're unprepared. Besides, I know you want to show off," You hit his arm, keeping your eyes locked on an area where roots were being produced out of nowhere like the person or thing is attacking someone.

Gojo smacked his lips. "You're right. I need to show off because I'm the role model of my students' life. I have to show you what I expect."

Your face coiled into disgust as his head was getting bigger than his body. "Okay…" You had no words to reply back to him. He's just a person from another planet.

"Besides that, go help Todo and Yuji in that area," Gojo pointed at the location where you were staring. Your body became stiff by the fact that you're going to be near Yuji. Of course it shouldn't matter because you're fighting the same enemy, but you guys hadn't made up. You're not sure if he's going to be mad when he sees you. However, you have to be the bigger person and push your feelings aside. It's your job to exorcise curses and punish curse users. Your feelings can come in after.

"Okay. How about you? Where are you going to be since you're their target?" It piqued your curiosity that they're targeting Gojo. It's risky of them to even try and face him when he's powerful. Most people are fools to believe they can take down Gojo.

"I'm going to deal with someone else!"

After the exchange, you building hopped until you got closer to where Yuji and Todo were at. From where you stood, you saw they were fighting against a cursed spirit whose ability is to control plants. The two boys were effortlessly taking down the curse. Todo used his cursed technique to fool the curse as they both used powerful punches and kicks to weaken the curse.

The sight of Yuji's improved moves astonished you. He grew a lot after he left your house. He's not the same person from before as he can weave around curses without fail.

"Well, it's time to exorcise that curse…" You decided to strike from a far to catch it off guard.

You raised your right hand up, opening the palm of your hand as you created a spear from your cursed energy. You had the ability to manipulate your cursed energy and shape it. You can make weapons, or create them into webs and spikes. It's very versatile and dangerous. If an opponent is hit with your cursed energy in any way, they're unable to use their cursed energy. This one does more bodily harm as it can eradicate the opponent's cursed energy by your energy consuming theirs or can cause death.

Only 5% of your cursed energy went into creating the spear. The weapon was long as the tip of the blade was sharp which would penetrate through anyone's body even a cursed spirit. Once it took its shape and became solid in your hand, the hefty weight, filled by your abundant cursed energy, was ready to kill anyone on sight.

You swung your right arm back, balancing the spear in your hand as you gripped it tightly. You waited for a few seconds to see if the wind was going to disturb your work or not. You were going to exorcise the cursed spirit on the spot. No one will escape your grasp. Even if the odds are against you, you will keep pushing and uphold your title. It's your fate you cannot out run.

Meanwhile with Yuji and Todo,

"Brother," Todo whipped an arm in front of Yuji, preventing him from attacking the curse. His senses were telling him that something big was going to take place, and he didn't want anyone to get in the way of it. Todo felt the tremendous energy causing the hairs on his body to stand up. This one was bigger than Gojo's. It's the power of the founding mother of jujutsu, Kameko. "Stand back or else you're going to get killed."

Yuji saw the stern look on Todo's face and reluctantly agreed. He didn't understand why Todo would say that but Yuji knew he's more skilled than he is. It's better to trust Todo's instinct than running on his own.

"O-okay…?" It's hard for Yuji not to feel pumped to fight the cursed spirit since he and Todo were in sync and producing good combos. He wanted to keep pouncing the curse to the point of exhaustion and then make the final blow and exorcise the cursed spirit. "But what is it?"

Yuji and Todo took a few steps back to clear the path for whatever is coming to attack. Yuji closed his eyes to concentrate on a spiritual level to grasp what Todo sensed. Squinting his eyes shut and clearing his mind, Yuji's perception wasn't picking up anything. It felt nonexistent. It's not like the time where Yuji was able to see residuals by mere concentration. He knew this skill awareness comes with time and mastery of knowing his own potential and limitation to his jujutsu.

"What is it, Todo? What do you feel?" Yuji's curious to know what Todo can perceive so he can get the idea what's about to hit them.

A grin tugged on Todo's face as his eyes locked on the cursed spirit, who's standing there waiting for their next attack. "A powerful storm that no one can beat. If you get caught, you're already dead right from the start. This power shows no mercy to those who break the systematic world of jujutsu,"

Yuji had a confused look written on his face. He didn't know where the conversation was going. "So… What is it?" He just wanted a straight answer. His brain doesn't work once it starts getting all fancy with its metaphors and such.

Todo tilted his head and glanced at Yuji as his grin was still there. "It's a power that I haven't witnessed until now."

Then Yuji gulped when he saw Todo's eyes narrowed which emphasized his new following words.

"It's Mother Kameko founding power being used,"

Yuji gasped as his eyes widened. y/n is here? She's going to intervene and finish the job? Where is she? I want to see her.

Yuji began looking around, trying to find you but he couldn't see with all the tall trees blocking his view.

Simultaneously, you used a lot of force to throw the spear at the cursed spirit as it launched forward. The trajectory was a straight shot, and the momentum increased by the second.

You watched the spear do its job as you were fully confident in your ability. A small smirk curled your lips, making you feel a bit cocky because you knew the outcome of it. You made sure it'll purge the cursed spirit's body.

On the other hand, Yuji and Todo watched a large blue-black spear made from cursed energy flying towards the cursed spirit.

The two boys could feel the power difference. It's like you were on top of the mountain whereas they were at the bottom, trying their best to climb and reach your level. The superiority was visible and intimidating.

"We may never get to that level, but it doesn't mean we can't stop training our mind and body harder!" Todo said, feeling his heart in flames.

"This is the first time seeing her unleash her power…" Yuji muttered to himself, watching in awe.

Then the spear inched closer to the cursed spirit and pierced their chest, ripping their flesh apart as they were stuck due to the spear being lodged into the ground.

The frazzled curse felt your cursed energy corrupting theirs. They didn't want to die just yet, they still wanted to cause more destruction. Panicking, the curse grabbed a hold of the shaft and tried to pull it out but in turn it backfired.

You watched from afar as the curse looked like a helpless insect begging to survive. However, you weren't going to let the curse get off the hook so easily. You have something else prepared to end their life.

Snapping your fingers together, the spear produced spikes from the shaft. It stabbed through the curse's body from the head and down at the moment they touched the shaft. Blood spewed from their mouth like a waterfall. The sharp ends of the spikes were protruding out from the body too. You felt no emotions towards the curse despite the brutality. Your chest was empty and hollow from your course of action, but it's the way of being a sorcerer. Sorcerers tend to lose their humane side and succumb to numbness. They're just an empty shell, a stranger to human interaction and emotions.

When Yuji saw the spikes grow out from the spear, it shook him. He didn't expect that to happen, but he was unaffected by the ruthlessness. Yuji seen worse when he fought against Mahito. Nothing can compare this to Mahito's evil nature. All curses do is cause mayhem for everyone. Nonetheless, he's amazed how you could cause the curse to surrender.

The cursed spirit was stuck even more as they couldn't pull out from the spikes or the shaft of the spear. They felt your cursed energy scorching their entire body like they were thrown into a pit of fire. The curse tried their best to get out, but it rendered useless in the end when you decided to appear right in front of them.

Yuji blinked a couple of times and rubbed his eyes to see if it was really you. He wasn't too sure because you popped out of nowhere. "Y/n," he murmured your name and tried to get closer to you, however, Todo held him back so you could finish off the job.

"Don't. Our work here is done. It's her job to finish it. Let's go," Todo dragged Yuji away from the scene when he wanted to be by your side.

Standing in front of the tall cursed spirit, you shaped your cursed energy into a sword. You were ready to chop their head off execution style.

"You're refusing to die off, so I'm here personally to end it." You drew the blade up to their neck as the curse gritted their bloody teeth, staring daggers at you.

It's weird how the curse kept fighting against your cursed energy killing their body. There's no point in resisting when their life form is at its end.

"Humans…"

Your brows rose from the curse intelligently talking to you. Just like the other volcano curse I encountered, this one can talk like us too… How interesting. I wonder what's going to happen from now on? How bad is our future going to be now there's smart curses like them?

You had questions but you weren't going to get answers for them.

The curse continued speaking to you, "…are deceitful creatures, Kameko-sama."

Your body tensed up when the curse called you Kameko. You tighten your grip around the handle, breathing out harshly from your nostrils. You weren't going to your composure. It's obvious you look like Kameko and share her powers. Whether they were trying to get under your skin or not, you weren't going to let that happen.

"I am not Kameko. I am f/n l/n, the descendant of Kameko—"

A sly chuckle slipped from their mouth before dying off. "You might end up like Kameko… It's tragic the way she died by the hands of those who supported her."

"How do you know that…?" You growled. It's impossible for a cursed spirit to know that type of information.

"I am the cursed spirit of the planet. I see, hear, and feel everything… How could I not remember the special sorcerer who died in the woods?" The cursed spirit had the final laugh as it officially was exorcised, but you didn't feel satisfied. It left you dumbfounded and mad. You didn't know why you felt like that but you did.

The sword in your hand disappeared since you didn't use it, and so did the spikes and spear too. Hanging your head back, you stared up at the partly blue sky due to the curtain being dispelled by Gojo. "What kind of victorious ending is this? It felt like I lost." With your hands planted on your hips as you sighed.
