past present and future Love
A/N: 1st off I don't own these characters. Also I unfortunately don't have a beta and I can't find one. I have done my best with trying to edit and beta on my own but I'm dyslexic so that makes some of the editing and spelling hard at so I'm sorry ahead in advance. Also this is chapter one of my very 1st SVU fic!
Kathleen Stabler gripped her backpack and duffel bag with the unshod tears in her eyes as she made her way across Manhattan to the only place she could thing of that would be safe. A few minutes later she made way down the Nicely lit hallway. She found the apartment number she was looking for and knocked on the door subconsciously running her hand down her stomach as the door swung open.
"Kathleen this is a surprise! " Liv said hugging the younger girl.
"Liv I'm so sorry I didn't know where else to go." Kathleen said has Olivia ushered her into the apartment.
"It's okay sweetheart you never have to be sorry for coming to me." Liv said giving her a hug before leading her to the couch and sitting her bags down. Kathleen knew Liv could see through the bruise on her cheek that she has covered with makeup.
"Paul isn't the good guy I've told everyone he is. He's decided to become a drunk and whenever I do something he doesn't want I get a beating and I just found out I'm-I'm pregnant Liv and I have no wear to go. I can't go home because he knows where my mom lives plus that would require me to speak to my mom which is something I haven't done in years. " Kathleen said tears flowing down her face.
"Shh it'll be okay you'll stay here and me and Noah. We have a extra room now that we moved into a new place"
"If your sure."
"I'm sure" Olivia said standing up and grabbing Kathleen's bags and leading her down the hall
"Y'know you never told me how you can suddenly afford a bigger apartment." Kathleen said as they walked into the guest room.
"A friend is helping out" Olivia said
"Do I happen to call this friend Dad?" Kathleen asked causing Olivia to roll her eyes
"Get some rest Kathleen." Olivia said leaving the young woman in the guest room and walking down the hall toward her own room checking on Noah as she went. Once she had done that she made her way into her room grabbing a burner phone out of her night stand and shooting off a text.
We have a unexpected house guest, are you still wrapping up at end of the week ?
She waited a few mintues and got a reply back
Yes, I should be back in NYC by Thursday. Whose the house guest
The wild child I'll explain everything when your home. You just focus on getting back to us safely I love you

She quickly put the phone back into the nightstand as she heard her little boy Noah start to whimper over the monitor. She quickly made her way down the hall to get Noah before his whimpers tuned into full blown crys.
"How's Momma's big boy?" She asked picking up the 19 month old has she packed him to the changing table. She quickly changed him then took him out to the kitchen to find some of his food. She cuddled him to her and gave him a kiss on his head.
"Your DaDa said to give you that, he misses you so much little man hopefully he'll be home by the end of the week . But your sister is here for now to your going to love her." Olivia said to him as she put him in his high chair and pulled out some baby food. She had just finished feeding Noah and was cleaning him and the kitchen up when Kathleen came down the hall.
"I though I heard him up." She said leaning down and kissing Noah's head before releasing him from his high chair as Olivia finished cleaning up the kitchen
"I'm sorry I tried to grab him before he woke you." Olivia said as they made their way into the living room
"It's fine Liv I wasn't really asleep plus I'm a guest in this house no reason to tip toe around me." Kathleen said with the Stabler glare as she slid down to the floor to play with Noah. Liv slid her phone out and took a picture of the two of them playing on the floor. She laid her phone down on the side table and watched both of them. After a few hours Of playing with Noah, Kathleen helped Olivia put the little boy to bed. Afterwards Kathleen and Liv was seated on the couch with herbal tea while Liv tried to figure out where the girl's head was at.
"Have you thought about what to do about the baby ?" Olivia asked
"Honestly I want to keep it." Kathleen said
"Your welcome to stay here as long as you want and I'll even help you when the baby comes " Olivia said with a smile.
"Thank you "
"I also think you should report him so that he can be arrested."
"I think I need to also I need to be strong like my mom"
"I thought you didn't talk to Kathy anymore "
"I wasn't talking about Kathy, your more my mother then Kathy has been in years" Kathleen said laying her head on Olivia's shoulder.
"I've always thought of you as my little girl." Olivia whispered to her as the city lights lit up the living room, reminding Olivia of a night not to long ago when she sit on the same couch with a different stabler and embarked on a journey she had waited 15 years for.
"You'll be the grandmother to this baby right?"
"Of course Kat I would be honored." Olivia said kissing her forehead.
