-Rachel pov-
Today has been very tense to say the least. Judy and the girls have been at counseling. Mom and me had a counseling appointment yesterday. Hence why it has been a tense day.
A lot came out yesterday. She actually has not come out of her room. I have taken care of Beth all morning. I hear her door open and footsteps go to the kitchen.
"Alright that is it!" I put Beth in the play pen and walk into the kitchen "What the fuck?!"
"Language" Mom does not look at me as she makes a sandwich "It is not becoming"
"Did you know Beth is teething? Did you know she woke up with a small fever today? Did you know I was confused on what to do?" I see fist tighten around the knife handle "What did you do? What did you do while the both of us cried? You are supposed to open up! OPEN UP AND BE MY MOM DAMNIT!"
"I CRIED OK!" She turns and I can see her bloodshot eyes with tear streaked cheeks "I cried because I looked at photos! All of your damn baby photos and I finally realized everything I missed! Everything I missed because now you are grown up and you do not need to be my baby anymore!"
"I WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR BABY!" I feel tear start falling down my face "But if you do not want to be my mom then tell me now"
"I want nothing more than to be your mom" She pulls me into a hug after she puts down the knife "I just really want you to want to be here"
"I want to" I step back and look up at her "You are the only parent I want to be with right now! I never want to lose these moments!"
"I never do either" We both walk back to Beth who is playing around "You know this reminds me of a song"

"Let's take this all a day at a time" I nod and lay into mom after she sits down with Beth "I love you mom"
"I love you" She gives me a forehead kiss before giving one to Beth and making her giggle "And I love this slobber box here too!"
We both laugh as Beth laughs more. Things can get better. I will be there for the Fabray to help them. I just hope their situation is getting figured out at counseling.
-Judy pov-
"Like hell I will not enter that room!" I get held back by staff of the office "Let me in there! My daughter is crying for me! You monster will be sued!"
"Your daughters are insane" I growl at the doctor that walks toward me "They will be taken to a good place and helped"
"Fuck this" I take a deep breath and unleash my pepper spray "Fuck all of you!"
I break into the room and run to my daughters. I grab their hands and pull them off the couch. I lead us out and to the stairs. We go down them and get to the entrance.
"I see I came at the right time" I feel both my girls tense as Russel walks toward us with his stupid smile "How about we all talk and take a nice trip?"
"Mom please do not let us go with him" I turn and see Fran shaking "I can not take it"
"Shut you ungrateful whore!" I turn back toward Russel who's anger is breaking through "You are going to the conversion camp! I did not just spend hours bribing the owners of this place to have you ruin it! The Fabray name is important!"
"Carmichael" Russel raises a confused eyebrow "My daughters names are Lucy Quinn Carmichael and Fran Elizabeth Carmichael! I am dating Emma Something Pillsbury! You will never hurt this family again!"
"That's it!" Before I know it he has tackled me down "You are getting the beating you deserve!"
"If any of you help her you are fired" The man standing a little away is blocking the staff I sprayed and others "Your jobs are more important than a skank!"
"Let her go!" Russel is tackled off me and I see it is Emma "She is amazing! You will not hurt her again!"
She is shit up by a fist knocking her back "God you are glass" He spits on her and I see red "Now onto the whore before the dykes"
"Girls?" I hear two hums and crack my knuckles "Call an ambulance..but it will not be for me"
I see fear spread through Russel's body. I smirk as I stalk toward him. This man is going to get destroyed. It is not murder if he is still breathing when the ambulance and police arrive.
So I best make this beat down good.
-Time skip-Maribel pov-
I arrive with Shelby as we run to the counseling center. There are ambulances and police here. We run inside and Shelby runs to the girls. I look around trying to find Judy.
"So he punched her and I broke his jaw" I turn at the familiar voice "I also broke his pelvis, right leg, orbital bone on his left eye, and I did the same to the buildings owner! He tried to pull me off and he hit me until I got off!"
"I did not!" A suited man sits up in cuffs "Ask the employees! Did I do that?"
"He hit her and everything" A big security guard I sprayed points toward the desk "You want to review the footage?"
"That would be great" the officer looks to me "You can go with your girlfriend"
"Thank you" Judy sees me and walks over "Did you see Emma?"
"Emma was here?!" I look around confused "What the hell happened?!"
"Russel came in and tried to get us sent away!" I look over and see the girls in awe "Emma was a badass and then mom was a even bigger one!"
"Yeah!" Quinn looks and pretends to punch Fran "She went bam and boom! Then there was a wa-pow!"
"Y-you thought I was a badass?" I turn to see Emma walking over with a shiner "I got beat up"
"You are a life saver" Judy kisses Emma and turns toward me "Can we talk lawyer business over lunch I am hungry"
"I-I" Shelby just chuckles and I sigh "Sure! Shelby call the girls and we can make a meal out of this"
She nods and pulls out her phone. I watch everyone walk out and shake my head with a smile. This is my family from now on. This is what my life will be.
How did I get so lucky?
