After the funny yet awkward moment at the riverbank, you guys walked back to school grounds. Dropping Yuji off at his room, you excused yourself instead of staying another night there. You innocently smiled at him. "I'll see you later. I have to pick something up at Satoru's estate." A dark and heavy feeling lingered inside your heart. It's too hard for you to ignore it. It has to be done.

On the other hand, Yuji didn't think too much about what you said. It's just Gojo's house, nothing can go bad plus you're in a good mood right now too. "Alright y/n, be safe out there! See you tomorrow!" Yuji waved off then shut the door behind him to get ready for bed.

You immediately ran out of the school and found your way at Gojo's estate. You knew he'd be gone because he said that this morning. "Has the moon been red today? It looks red to me." You stared at the red moon, letting it witness what you were about to do. Standing in front of his black mahogany double door, you grabbed the spare key underneath the pot of plant and wiggled the key in the hole until the doors unlocked.

Gojo had no security or servants since he preferred to live alone and independent. No one would dare to break inside his house since he's the second strongest person here.

The light wind danced through your hair as you tucked it behind your ears. Your eyes darkened at the shoji panels and began walking your way up to the entrance. Each step you took felt muddy and heavy. You carried vengeance on your shoulders and no one else could complete it but you. It called your name, lulling you under a tight spell that'd be hard to dissipate. It thorned your soul as it bled mercilessly.

As you walked inside the estate, the lights were off and the place was silent. Only your shadow followed you down to the basement. Right in front of you was the thick metal door where sound and light couldn't penetrate the walls. It's a way to keep a person in and never let the outside know about their whereabouts.

You knew the code on the door because it's Gojo's birthday. He brought you inside once and openly told you about the passcode which was the biggest mistake he ever made. Now you had access to do whatever you wanted. Pushing the hefty door, it creaked loudly and the freezing temperature blasted in your direction. It caused goosebumps to rise as it welcomed you with big arms. The lights were out which made you feel relieved because you wanted to scare the living hell out of this man.

"Did you think starving me was going to scare me?!" The murderer shouted from his chair as he's shackled down with chains, limiting his movement while trying to move around.

CLICK CLACK CLICK CLACK

Your eyes immediately adjusted in the dark. You made your way to his cell where he's tied up so his cursed energy couldn't leak out. In this room, he won't be able to escape because there were talismans everywhere, blocking any type of jujutsu to be unleashed inside their cell besides yours.

"Just because you're Gojo Satoru—"

Freeing your power, you produced spikes from the ground as it stabbed the man's feet. He screamed in agony, letting his voice echo off the concrete walls. You watched him throw his body back from his nerves being played with. He clenched his teeth and breathed harshly from his nose.

"I'm not Satoru. You know who I am." You placed your hands on the metal bars and stared deeply into his vicious eyes. "I'm y/n. Your best friend Satoru is out of town, so I'm taking over to make sure you see death." You hissed as your voice rumbled like a storm that was about to come in and wipe out a whole nation. Animosity coated your words, and you summoned your ability to hurt him until he couldn't breathe. You'll make sure he gets what's coming at him. "You took away the people I love, and now I'll make sure you repent your sins as it kills you over and over again!"

The curse user was unconscious from the cruel torment you gave him. Blood oozed out from his deep laceration, and his face and body was discolored. Your heart still raced from releasing your pent up anger and resentment. Nothing could calm down the darkness lingering in your soul. You were already doomed for this evil path on the day you were born. Your body couldn't settle down the jitteriness you felt. It was exhilarating to watch him suffer under your fingertips. Now you want the higher ups to go through the same motion. You'll carve your blood into their soul so they know who owned them.

"Ugh, I wish I did this in a cleaner method," You wiped your bloody hands on a brown rag, cleaning it to a certain extent. Though your hands were a bit stained, it didn't bother you as much since there's more to come. You're certain that your deep and scary thoughts were going to play out into reality. There's no saving you from this gruesome path. Fate knew this was going to happen sooner or later.

Grunting as you threw down the rag, you casted your eyes on the curse user. "At least it didn't take long for him to confess… It's all because of the higher ups. It's their fault just like what grandma and Kameko said. I was never supposed to live like this until they stepped in my life before I knew this world existed." You clenched your fists and you breathed out heavily from your nostrils. "If the higher ups try to deny this after the evidence, I'll kill them regardless. They can die with no remorse." Your blackened heart didn't care about the consequences nor cared about what others think of you. You already knew you were in the right because outside the higher ups, nobody knew the truth about Kameko's death. Even if you were to explain your action, who would believe you? All they would care about was you killing the higher ups.

During the process of taping the curse user, you dropped the duct tape in your hands and thought about Yuji out of nowhere. He snaked into your thoughts even though your mental state wasn't stable. There was a small part of you believing that he'll convince you to stop this and come back home, and before you knew it, you dialed his number and placed the phone to your ear.

RING RING

"Hello?" Yuji said in a groggy voice, waking up from his sleep to answer your call.

Your lips twitched as your mouth opened and closed. You wanted to tell Yuji the truth but it couldn't come out. Your words didn't want to devastate him, so you bit your lips to think about your words.

"H-hello?" He asked again, wondering if you called him by accident.

Hearing his voice caused your heart to break. There's a thin line of you coming back to your senses or going mayhem. You chewed the inside of your cheeks before speaking to him. "Yuji, if I were to get my hand dirty, would you still be by my side?" You carefully said without hinting too much details to him. Your hands were getting clammy from your nervousness peaking through.

"Huh? What do you mean? What are you going to do?" Yuji didn't understand what you meant as it threw him off. His half awake brain couldn't process anything. It only made it harder for him to think coherently.

Your lips frowned as you genuinely felt sad knowing that this conversation was going to be your last. This call didn't compel you to stop anything. Your heart was already numb from the start so nothing would've changed you and your dooming decision. Putting on a fake smile behind the phone, you only wished for him to sleep and forget about this. "Well… it doesn't matter whether you forgive me or not. I'm glad I met you, and tell Satoru that I'm sorry." You ended the phone call with a push of a button and held it against your chest.

On the other hand with Yuji,

"Huh?" Yuji drew back his phone and stared at it with confusion. "What was she talking about? Well I might be dreaming because I miss her or something…" His droopy eyes closed as he tried going back to sleep.

Your lips trembled and you told yourself to keep it together. "The curse imprinted in my soul won't allow me to escape this fate anyways. I must fulfill it to lay Kameko to rest."

You duct taped the curse user and threw him into a duffel bag. You dragged his heavy body across the floor. Grunts and sweats came from you as you made your way to campus. Your right shoulder ached. It felt like you were dragging a dozen bricks, that's how the man's body felt.

Hours passed and you were finally on campus. The adrenaline that wasn't there before spiked out of nowhere. Your heart rate intensified and the spell casted on your soul told you to commit murder. You balled your fists tightly as you breathed harshly from your nose.

On your way meeting the higher ups unannounced, you encountered Master Tengen standing right in front of you.

"Y/N, don't do this."

It surprised you how he stepped out of his shell just to tell you this. It baffled you to the point where you laughed insanely in his face with a smile on your lips while your eyes contained malice. "Don't fucking play with me, Tengen! Did you forget they killed your beloved sister?! How can you live knowing they did that?! As you live on freely, her descendants like me are shackled to her curse! I bet all the people before me lived a miserable life! If you loved Kameko then you would've done something. Now I have to get my hands bloody. Don't try to stop me because I will take you down! We might be related, but I have no ties with you."

Master Tengen felt horrified after hearing you speak in an aloof tone. It sounded like the devil has possessed your body to make you sound so aggressive and empty. When he looked inside your eyes, he only saw Kameko's angry face hiding inside your fiery orbs. He gulped knowing that you were right and he was wrong. He should've done something when Kameko looked distressed. Not a day goes by as he still remembers the day where she died. Master Tengen really could've intervene and killed the people who murder his sister and her family. As guilt ate him till this day, he stepped out of your way so you can go kill the higher ups. There's no stopping you when Kameko cursed her offspring. The damage has been done, so he had no choice but to watch it play out like the useless fool he was back then.

Meanwhile, Yuji kept flip flopping in his bed, having a hard time sleeping. No matter how long he closed his eyes, he couldn't fall back to sleep. Something was not allowing him to go back. "Ugh," he sighed in frustration, smacking his arms on the blanket covering him. "I can't sleep," Yuji groaned, turning on his side and checking his phone to see what time it was. "It's one in the morning. I closed my eyes for thirty minutes and it's not daylight."

Putting his phone down, Yuji couldn't understand why he couldn't go to sleep. He listed out many possibilities that could interfere with it. As he used his fingers to count all of them, he finally realized that the recurring outcome was you. You kept popping back in the circle. "It's because of our call…" He mumbled and recalled how weird you were acting. "Y/n wouldn't normally call me when I'm sleeping." The more he thought about you, the more he wanted to seek you. His heart was telling him that something was wrong, and he was genuinely scared. To suppress his feelings, he tried calling you but you didn't pick up. This caused his heart to drop and anxiety swept in.

"I have to go!" Yuji frantically said, jumping out of bed to find you.

"What are you doing here, y/n?" One of the higher ups called, questioning your present as none of them expected to see you.

"Why are you covered in blood? Did you get hurt?" Another asked in a fake voice soothing over an open wound.

You knew they were snakes whispering lies because they obviously knew what's been keeping you up at night. It's them and they had no remorse for it either. Even behind the shoji panels, they were heartless beings who craved power and authority. It sickened you to the core.

BAM!

You purposefully kicked the duffle bag towards them, peaking their curiosity. You stared at them with contempt as you wanted to kill them on the spot, but you knew you needed answers before that. "You can gladly open the bag because it's a gift from me to you." You tried your best holding back the attitude in your voice because you didn't want to ruin the surprise. You wanted them to fall into your trap. It'll be easier to capture your prey when they least expect it and force them to follow your will. "Come on, it's an early Christmas present. We all love free gifts because we're greedy humans."

The higher ups were hesitant about it and one of them popped out from the shoji panel with a mask covering their identity since most of their loyal servants were gone. They slowly unzipped the bag while your body and soul anticipated their reaction. You were hungry for their petrified expression so you slowly got closer to them.

Then the higher up who was opening your gracious gift stopped their action and looked up at you. "Can I not have space?"

Hearing that made you want to laugh. They spewed the most ridiculous thing you ever heard beside Gojo's. An eerie smile plastered your face as you loomed over them and your hair fell forward from looking down upon them. "Oh, don't be like that. I want to see if you'll appreciate what I got you all. I put a lot of time and effort into creating it. I'll be disheartened if you don't like it, that's all."

Not knowing if the higher up bought it, they continued unzipping the duffel bag. Once it was fully unzipped, a big whiff of death exploded from it. The high up started coughing from the horrible stenched. They didn't know what you gave them if it smelled this bad.

"Sorry for the smell, I had to do it really quickly to give it to you today."

Instantly, the higher up used their two hands to pull the fabric apart and gasped in horror when they saw the face of the curse user they assigned to kill your grandma. They crawled back in terror as if they've never seen an unconscious man before when they've totally killed innocent people.

"What's the problem? You don't like my gift?! I thought it was an honorary present since you sent him to kill me, my parents, and my grandma." You effortlessly took the curse user out and tossed the duffel bag aside. The beaten up man laid unconsciously in front of the higher ups. Their dirty work failed his mission again—he was caught. "He led me back here to you guys. If you wanted me dead, you could've just called and finished me off personally. Sending assassins is so cliché and low. You guys are cowards!"

You summoned spikes around the room as it threw everyone in a frenzy. The higher up in front of you was stunned. They couldn't speak but only shook in fear. Leaping over the body, you opened your hand to create a double edge spear and lodged it to their leg. They screamed in agony, crying from your cursed energy invading their cursed energy.

"There's more to come," you uttered out, toying with the spear in their leg so their nerves could shoot all over their body. The higher up's back arched resembling a bridge as it pained them like electricity running from head to toe.

However, the second you ignored everyone else, they all attacked you and you swiftly fought back with everything you got.

One higher up came charging towards you which you dodged and tapped their chest. You automatically stopped their flow of energy from producing. "This is a curse from Kameko to you!" You yelled, wrapping your hand around their wrist and then swooping behind their arm to dislocate it. The harrowing scream filled the room as you continued on your killing spree. Blood splattered everywhere as you were careless. Their bodily fluids didn't faze you. It's just an act of their sins being atoned by your hands.

Then one of the higher ups conjured a domain expansion, covering up the playing field and everyone was trapped inside.

Looking at the ceiling, a scoff left your crooked lips. You were amazed they pulled this off thinking they could confine you in here. You weren't sure if they were stupid or not. They underestimated you just because you don't put yourself out there. Tilting your head to the side, you smirked confidently at everyone who was waiting to pounce on you. "Did you really think your powerful move would stop me? I feel like if you know so much to kill me, you would've figured this one out."

They had a perplexed look on their faces.

Your eyes darkened and narrowed, turning the table on them. They can't outsmart you and your outstanding abilities. "Your domain expansion is weak against mine. I have an anti-domain expansion, so no matter what domain comes into my way, I can always cancel it. I'm mother jujutsu!" Snapping your fingers, the domain expansion shattered before everyone's eyes. That's when the higher ups knew they were up against a monster—the creator of the system who gave life to all users.

Nearly killing half of the higher ups, you threw the red stained rock aside and picked up one of the breathing leaders by their collar.

"When people find us dead, they will all turn on you. Even if we're dead, we still have power to trample your life!" They coughed out, glaring at you with dangerous eyes.

"So let it be!" You didn't care if people turned their backs against you. "Throughout all these years of sorcerers living and dying, they lived under a lie by your control. There's no way for me to prove to them that I'm innocent and you're guilty because Kameko died many years ago. I'm fine letting this system crumble after your death and my betrayal. I don't care how everyone will portray me because I know I did what was right!"

You threw them on the ground as they grunted loudly from their aching body slamming on the hard floor. "GAH!" They wheezed, trying to gasp for air. Their lungs weren't obtaining enough oxygen to live.

"I'll pluck out the truth whether it means I keep healing up the wounds I inflict upon you!"

The trail began now…

"Why did you hire the assassin?"

"I don't know what you're talking about—! AHHH!" The higher up was interrupted with a spike penetrating their body.

You were merciless. "Wrong. Try again!"

You kept repeating the question and hurting them until you were satisfied with the answer you got.

Meanwhile with Yuji, he ran around the school searching for you. He tried not to make too much noise in case he woke up his friends. He doesn't want to bring up their suspicion since you want to keep your problem on the low.

"y/n, y/n, y/n, where are you?!" Yuji called your phone many times but you didn't pick up. He began losing his mind. "She should be back now! What does she mean if she got her hands dirty?! I'm so confused." Nothing made sense in his head. Where could you have gone? What were you hiding from him? He had to find you.

"Fufufu… You want to know where your precious y/n is?" Sukuna popped out of nowhere as he knew where you were.

This caused Yuji to stop in his tracks and he stared down at his cheek where Sukuna's mouth was. "Why would I listen to you? Anything coming out of your mouth is a lie."

"Oh no, I truly do know where she is. I'm not asking for anything in return. You of all people know she has lots of enemies. If you don't cooperate with me then we don't know what's going to happen to y/n. She could be dying as we speak." Sukuna sarcastically cried, tugging Yuji's heart string. His weakness was you. Anything that dealt with you he needed to be by your side.

"Fine… Tell me where she is," Yuji complied for once.

/

"Why did you hire the assassin?" You asked the umpteenth time. You had time to kill since no one would be looking for you. It's night time. People are dead asleep. Who would disturb you?

The higher up succumb to your repeated torment: slash, beat, and heal. That was the devilish cycle you put them in. They breathed out softly, making direct eye contact with you. Their eyes began turning dull but still uttered out what you wanted to hear or else you'll make sure they relive their pain once again.

That's when Yuji entered the building quietly. He's surprised to see dead bodies and blood splattered everywhere. It was a slaughter house and it reeked badly. He wanted to throw up as his esophagus contracted, being on the verge of puking or toughening it out and swallowing it down. No matter how terrible the smell of dead bodies and blood filled the air, Yuji controlled his urge to puke because he's seen worse.

Yuji hid behind a pillar and poked his head out and observed his surroundings. Sukuna said y/n would be here, but where is she? I don't see her… Just when he said that to himself, his eyes spotted you and he couldn't believe how bloody you looked. It's as if you had a blood bath. From afar, Yuji could see that your eyes were void of emotions as you peered down at the higher up.

"Is that really y/n?" Yuji muttered. He's never seen you in this type of state before. "Did you really lose yourself after your grandma's death? Why didn't you tell me these dark thoughts?" Although Yuji felt mad that you decided to kill the higher ups for some reason, he wished you had confided in him first before taking action. Now you're a changed person that he doesn't even recognize.

The higher up confessed. "For many years, sorcerers who've been chosen as the new higher ups knew about Kameko's curse. It's installed in our brains that the true Kameko will come and kill us all… and throughout centuries, he or she wasn't born with her powers until you stepped in. We knew that you were going to be a threat in the future because your bloodline is cursed! So we tried killing you once and it failed, but not only that, you were protected under Gojo Satoru so now you were untouchable because he found you."

"Mmm, so if it wasn't for him, you guys would've attacked again… You have no guilt in killing a child." Their insane reasoning made you roll your eyes. They were truly blinded by greed and power.

"Yeah, we don't deserve to die by your hands! Kameko failed to secure her place in this world!"

In a spark of rage, you kicked their face and their body rolled over from the brute force. "What do you know? You're not from this prestigious bloodline. Kameko has been so nice to everyone and this is how you repay her. But today, you will see her in hell!"

Before you were going to slay their life in front of their bleak eyes, Yuji popped up and pleaded for you to stop. "Y/n! Is this what you mean about getting your hands dirty? Why are you doing this?! This is not like you."

You tiredly turned your head to face him and sighed. You didn't know what to feel. Should you feel sad that he saw you in this light? Should you feel insecure because your relationship with him will never be the same? You didn't know. Your heart was numb. Nothing could pierce the broken walls when there wasn't anything. Yuji, the person whom you care deeply for, couldn't bring you back to your senses. You were already gone like the wind during the hot summer day. There's no way anyone can pull you out of this mess you created.

"I'm cursed, Yuji." You said in a monotone voice as you resembled the dead.

"What? How?"

"The higher ups killed Kameko due to greed and power. They wanted control over everything. They murdered her and her husband as she left her newborn child behind. Before she died, she cursed them all and her future bloodline to kill the higher ups. Even if the circumstances were different, the curse lies inside of me and will forever be there until I kill them."

"N-no, y/n!" Yuji objected as he was in denial. "There could've been another way to deal with this! You didn't need to kill them!" His eyes widened and on the verge of crying. He hated this sight of you because deep down you're not a bad person, but you're portraying yourself as the villain so now everyone will hunt you down. "Y/n, let's call sensei! He can fix this! He can always fix everything!" Yuji tried to take a step forward to comfort you with his fidgety hands but you backed away which caused his heart to ache. You knew Yuji wasn't in the right state of mind either. All he wanted to do was to protect you and cover up your mess and that wasn't right.

"There's no alternative, Yuji! Imagine living in my shoes and having the people I love be taken away! What did me and Kameko do to deserve this?! Kameko lived a virtuous and hardworking life and ended up dead! I haven't done anything bad in my life yet people want me dead. How much good can you give to this world before it backstabs you? They pay the price of their throne and I sacrifice my title in this society… Don't forget that they want you dead. Be happy that you don't have to die. You have another chance at life."

Yuji bit his lips as tears streamed down his face. He felt so hopeless. He could've prevented this, he knew he could have yet he didn't catch the signs of you turning your back against him and the world. "y/n, please…!" He sobbed, opening his arms but instantly closing them when he knew you're not going to run back. You made your point clear and your actions spoke louder than your words. You can't go back in time to stop this anymore. It is what it is and the consequences of your actions don't scare you.

"Leave. I don't want to see your face," You scornfully spat, glaring at him with your sad eyes and stormed away. You're going to miss him but you can't have him dragged into your mess.

"Y/N!"

BUBBLE BUBBLE

Yuji chased after you. "Y/n, you don't need to hide! We can fix this!" He sounded so desperate and scared like a little boy asking his parents to not leave him home alone.

"Go away, Yuji! I said what I said!" You yelled, without giving him a glimpse of your distraught face.

BUBBLE BUBBLE

"Y/N!"

Stomping as your arms flew down to your hips, you had no choice but to put on a facade and acted like you hated him. You whipped your head back and contorted your face in the most disgusted manner ever. "GO AWAY—"

However, someone's maniacal laughter echoed in the room as a bubbling noise was also prominent in everyone's eardrums.

"Kukeke hahaha!"

"What is that?" You and Yuji said in unison.

Before you guys knew it, a gigantic Sukuna emerged from Yuji's shadow. He was well over six feet tall, very buff with four arms and four eyes, and his pink salmon pushed back. Sukuna was in his prime. He stood behind Yuji like a predator ready to attack his prey.

"It feels so great to have my body again! What perfect timing for this to happen during a red moon!"

Yuji slowly turned around and faced Sukuna. He couldn't believe he found a way out of his body. It doesn't make any sense because his body was the only catalyst to trigger Sukuna's return, but now he has his own body from the golden era. "What the—"

BAMMM!

Sukuna knocked Yuji unconscious as you screamed for him and tried running towards him when Sukuna blocked your way with his monster-like body. You were terrified. So many thoughts were running in your head because this seemed too surreal.

"How…?"

"Oh, little lamb." He crouched to your level so you could face each other. "Congratulation on being a murder! It's time to purge the world on my master's behalf!" You couldn't even react as Sukuna hit the back of your neck, causing you to black out instantly.
