Taiga and Ryuuji stood on the balcony and stared out at the city below as the wind gently blew past them. Hearing opening up beside them, they looked up and their eyes widened when they spotted Yasuko stepped out of the apartment next to theirs, "Yasuko?" the blonde woman stopped and looked up with wide eyes, "Yasuko…w-what? We thought you walked out an-"
"I'm sorry, I'll leave an-"
"Why don't you stay," Taiga suggested and Yasuko looked at her daughter-in-law in confusion, "We've been looking for you for a few weeks and we'd like to talk to you,"
"I…I wouldn't want to be a bother an-"
"Yasuko," Ryuuji sighed and the blonde looked at her son and frowned as Ryuuji shook his head, "I didn't mean to yell at you the night Taiga and I ran off, but I'd like to make my own choices, I don't want people controlling my life…I wish you were there when we got married,"
"Ryu," Yasuko frowned as she stepped closer to the married couple and shook her head, "I didn't mean to control your life like that. I wanted to give you a better life than I have and…I just pushed you away,"
"Yasuko," Ryuuji frowned and shook his head, "Yeah, I wanted to live my life, and I shouldn't have yelled at you like that…but…well…like I said, I wish you could've been there when Taiga and I got married,"
Yasuko hung her head and slowly nodded, "Yasuko?" Yasuko looked at her daughter-in-law in confusion and Taiga shook her head "Why don't you join us for dinner tonight? It might be nice if the three of us got together and spent some time with each other," Yasuko slightly smiled as she nodded.
