A/N: Okay so yeah, part 2. pretty quickly after cause they're basically the same chapter right? Just, two parts. yee...

So, continuing from where we left off in Part 1, here's part 2...

Chapter 2 Part 2 - Trouble child & Aspiring investigator

After leaving Silco's office, Jinx started making her way over to her own little place, where she liked to experiment and create new weaponry. She took her usual stroll along the rooftops on the way there, scaring a few people looking out their windows. "Shitshitshitshit" she mumbled to herself when she arrived and turned on some kind of techno style punk rock music to drown out the humming of Claggor in her head. Feeling like she had to destroy something, she took one of her self made grenades off the bar counter, pulled the pin and looked at it for a bit, watching it blink faster and faster before throwing it down the deep dark ravine her hidey hole was stationed inside of. She sat down at the edge of the floor, her feet just at the edge of it.

"It wasn't Vi" she said to herself pulling the pin on one more grenade and dropping it in front of her foot "It wasn't" she said one more time, kicking the grenade of the edge and listening to the explosion as it went off far below.

You were wrong, again. That wasn't Vi… she heard Mylo say behind her. "I know. Just… Just some wannabe street trash." She explained to herself almost it seemed like. "I got confused, that's all. And now, he thinks I'm weak"

Well you are, aren't you? A weak useless jinx.

"I'm NOT weak" I'm not, you are, I'm not, you are, I'm not I'M NOT!

"Se- 'Sevika will clean it up' Sevika's a regular Johnny-on-the-spot after all." She said sarcastically in a crazy tone, imitating Silco's earlier words. She lied down on her back and rolled to the side releasing a long frustrating sigh.

I need to do something to prove to his- his thick. Fucking. Skull that I'm NOT weak! She thought to herself as she was looking at a zeppelin model sold at the Progress day festival that she'd found eariler.

Progress day… Steal something powerful… Mylo chimed in once again. That's right, I should just steal whatever it is that they're so fucking proud of up there! "I'm gonna show him… Oh I'm gonna show him real good, you'll see" She said, throwing one last grenade down the ravine… for now.

It was now starting to get dark out, Jayce is supposed to hold his speech pretty soon. Looking up into the sky she could see 4 gigantic zeppelins. Supposedly he was on one of them. Heh, good luck Jayce. You're a real superstar now huh? She thought to herself, shaking her head with a smile on her face. "Alright, to graveyard duty it is then…" *sigh*

When she arrived the rest were already there sitting on the stairs to one of the fair buildings, some of them smoking and some just hanging out.

"Ah, Caitlyn. So good to have you, milday" The duty captain welcomed her, sarcastically. Caitlyn ignored his welcome and instead just looked at him and gave him a stiff nod.

Having stood at her duty for quite a while she started listening in a bit to the conversation happening behind her, realizing they'd been watching Jayce's speech all this time over a live stream.

"Is that it then? I thought that Talis boy was some kind of genius. Last year didn't he launch a 'blimp' half way across the country?" The duty captain said. Caitlyn got a bit irritated at his choice of words and made to correct him.

"Airship, actually. An airship has a rigid metal hull. It's not a 'blimp' as you called it."

"Well it's a balloooon ain't it?" he said back "Sure as hell looks that way" another one of them said.

"Pardon us if we aren't quite as, refined as you are milady"

"What are you even doing here, Kiramman? Don't you have a cocktail party to attend?"

"Hahahahaha!" They all started laughing at the joke, all except Caitlyn that is. She was just listening in knowing they didn't mean anything incredibly mean by it, they were just poking fun at her for living in a rich family but working as an enforcer. Looking back to the fair Caitlyn noticed a bright light all of a sudden.

What is that…? Fire? It's a fire! She quickly realized

"Fire!" She yelled to get the attention of the rest and started running towards the fire in the middle of the fair.

When they arrived the fire had already spread pretty far inside one of the tents, just standing close to it was almost overwhelmingly hot.

"Get the fire brigade!" Caitlyn commanded to no one in particular, just knowing that they were needed right now. When the rest of the group arrived after Caitlyn running ahead of them they also noticed how much it had spread already. Suddenly there was a voice coming from inside the tent.

"Help. In here, please. Help me." It sounded like a very young girls voice. The duty captain and his two subordinates heard it clearly and decided it was best they get in there quickly to get her out of there, screw the fire!

Getting further into the tent they heard her once again "Help. It's so hot, please. I'm trapped."

Outside, Caitlyn and a few others were using fire extinguishers to make the fire die out.

Back inside though, they heard the voice again. "I'm a helpless little girl, and I've set the building on fire" Now the voice didn't make sense anymore… "By accident. Totally by accident." It said, not even sounding like a little girl anymore… They had been tricked, lured in to a death trap, from the ceiling was a voice recorder hanging and a massive amount of grenades.

Finally getting the fire to die out on the outside of the tent Caitlyn noticed something…

She took in a quick deep breath No…. Nononono… It's that graffiti of a monkey face again! She's here!? They need to get out of the tent RIGHT NOW! "Get out. NOW!" She shouted to everyone around her.

Back inside… "Also, I brought this dynamite… Goodbye…" The voice died out and the grenades started twitching, this is bad. And sure enough just a couple seconds after the voice died out, everything exploded.

Explosion, the monkey face started glowing and all of a sudden a big shockwave bursted out of the tent throwing everyone outside the tent of their feet.

Wha- What happened Caitlyn thought with panic as she was lying on the ground, still in shock from the explosion. She tried to get up but she felt so incredibly weak… No… I have to… stop her… Just before she passed out she saw her, a girl with long blue hair, tattoos on her arm, walking towards the main building of the fair. And just for one second she looked back at Caitlyn, and evil smirk on her face, snickering to herself before walking inside as Caitlyns world turned to black.

I did it! I did it I did it I did it! Those gullible fools fell for it, haha!

Yes you did it, now get in there and get what you came for! Came Mylo's voice.

I'm on it! Shut up! While fighting with herself inside her head she was making quick progress on finding the room where they kept all new discoveries.

This one? No. This one? NO… Hmmm Maybeeeeeee, THIS ONE! Yes! Happily walking inside with a spring in her step. "Woooooooooow, look at all this… stuff!"

Get what you came for Powder, don't screw us over again! "Fine! I guess I'll not be so fucking curious this time… although this place needs renovating I think, yeah. And there's a few interesting books around here, could be useful." And then she saw it That has to be it! A blue shiny crystal on the middle of an anvil. It looked incredibly smooth to the touch. "Oooooooh" Picking up the crystal she could feel some kind of vibration coming from it This feels kind of familiar… hmm… she put the little ball in her pocket and got to work redecoration the room, spraying almost everything with her signature style. After she was done she stood in the doorway looking at the room.

"Something's missing" She mumbled to herself. Looking at the anvil she quickly realized what The zeppelin model! Yes! Walking forward she took it out of one of her many pockets and put it where the blue ball little crystal thing had been before

Perfect. Alright, time to go! And so she made her escape, no one knowing who and what had taken it, except Caitlyn, who was passed out on the ground outside.

When Jinx arrived back at her place she turned on her favorite rock song, max volume and got to work. Humming along to the song she tried the energy crystal thing with everything she could think of. Guns, grenades and even a very small kind of mechanical butterfly that she had found earlier in the day up in Piltover which she was trying to turn into a flying remote explosive. While she was in the middle of trying all these new things and in general just celebrating that she'd been able to steal what she did. Silco Came up behind her, furious at what he heard she'd done up in Piltover.

"Jinx! He shouted, but the music was so loud Jinx didn't hear a thing. "Jinx!"

"Jinx!" Silco started to approach her and smashed his fist down on her modified gramophone "JINX!"

"That's me!" She answered him with a huge grin on her face.

"Half a dozen enforcers, dead. Enforcers. DEAD!" Silco looked absolutely furious Jinx noticed but didn't really care because she knew it was worth it.

"Yeah…" She said, chuckling a little bit.

"A building blown to pieces"

"Oh, yeah." Laughing while talking and proceeding to rest her head on her 'workbench', satisfied with herself. Silco was just getting angrier by the second, ripping one of her devices out of her hand "Do you have ANY IDEA what you've done!?"

Sitting up straight again she finally gave Silco a serious face. "Actually, I do." Taking out the thing that she managed to steal, the blue crystal ball and showing it to him. Silco was shut silent, fascinated at what she was holding. Jinx gave it to him and started giggling, then walking away a bit to activate her little firework show.

"Happy Progress Day!" she said as a bunch of fireworks were shot up into the air in various colors. Slowly walking towards Silco with her hands behind her back, still a bit unsure if Silco was still angry with her but when he looked at her she could see he was just confused, that's all. Ha! You really got him this time, look at him, all silent So she she gave him a hug, finally feeling like she'd been approved of a little bit, feeling useful and content with herself.

Caitlyn woke up on her bed in her room, with a real headache and a bandage over her right eyebrow, seems like she was cut in the explosion. Trying to sit up she felt how sore she was and let out a loud painful groan, lying back down on her bed again.

"Caitlyn?" She heard from outside the door before it opened and her dad walked inside "You're awake! I'm so glad to see you're okay, me and your mom were so worried about you you know?" he said, walking to the side of the bed she was lying on and sitting down besides her.

"Dad, what happened? How did I get back home?"

"You were found unconscious on the ground close by to the explosion in the fair, you were there when It exploded I assume?"

"Yes… yes I was…" Wait, what happened with everybody else? "Dad, what happened to everyone else? Did they…" Her dad let out a sad sigh before explaining in more detail what he knew about the event.

"Almost everyone was badly injured, you were quite lucky to have come out of it with so few injuries. And uh… The ones in the tent were lost, their bodies weren't even really… intact, so to say."

"Oh my god…" That's awful… Why would she do something like this… "Where's mom?"

"She's busy figuring stuff out with the council right now, Jayce's there too, I heard. Something of his got stolen apparently.

"Stolen? Huh…" This got Caitlyn's mind into brainstorm mode, Why would she do all this to just steal something from… Jayce must have made something really special. But how did she know?

"Anyway, I need to go sweetheart but it's good to see you awake again." Her dad said before giving her a kiss on the forehead and leaving her room.

A couple hours later someone knocked on her door and entered without waiting for an answer. She assumed it was just another rich family member giving her useless flowers or letters wishing her a good recovery or whatever.

"Hey" The person opening the room said. Jayce? Didn't expect that. "How are you feeling?" Standing up from the floor she'd laid out all of her proof on she approached him.

"I've had a break in the case." She said with determination. Grabbing his arm and guiding him towards her little investigation floor collection.

"Shouldn't you be resting?"

"While the trail's still hot? No." Grabbed the flowers he came with and threw them in the same pile with everything else she'd gotten since her injury. "Listen, you know how I've suspected there is a single mind behind the undercity's violence?"

"The great conspiracy" jayce said, a little disappointment in his voice being heard.

"I think whoever attacked the square is our suspect. The same symbols showed up at the botched smuggling operation at the Hexgates."

"The Hexgates?"

"Keep up." She said, kneeling down and pointing to various parts of photos she'd taken. "All this time, they've kept their dealings localized to the undercity. Low Priority. The attack on the square changes things. They've overstepped. If I could figure out who made this" pointing to the picture showing a monkey graffiti "it could lead med directly to whoever's behind it all. The answer's here, staring me in the face." She said, standing up and backing away a little, giving herself a greater view of the whole picture. "I can feel it."

"Caitlyn… How- How do you intend to prove any of this?"

"If I can just work this out. Marcus has to listen to me, it'll all make sense."

"If there's one thing I've learned about the council, they need more then just theories."

Caitlyn chukled a little "Since when did you concern yourself with the council's opinion?"

"Since I… Well, became a councilor." Haha, good one Jayce, became the councilor… But then she looked at his face, "You're… Serious. When, why? Have they discovered how to govern with grease and a spanner?"

"Ha ha. I was actually hoping you might consider joining my staff." He said, handing over a message capsule to Caitlyn.

"'House Talis Security'. That's a ceremonial position. I'd live behind a desk Jayce." She said, not sounding to happy about the idea.

"You almost died, Cait. I just… I just want you to be safe."

"Thanks, but no thanks, I already have a job." She said, not wanting to continue this conversation and going back to kneeling down over her investigation.

"No, you don't actually." I don't?… What is he talking about. "After the attack, your parents spoke to the sheriff."

"Seriously!?" She groaned.

"This is the best I could do."

"I don't need charity, 'councilor'. Yours or my parents."

"Cait… come on…"

"Get out." They… They took away my job? That's so… cruel of them. She heard Jayce opening her door and leaving. She sighed This is fucked up, Looking down on her investigation again she focused on one particular spot on her map over Piltover, remembering how Marcus had said 'Restrain him, I want him on a boat to still water prison.'

Still Water Hold… maybe I should pay that big guy from the botched smuggling job a visit. I think I need some answers.

The next night she snuck out, gaining the approval of the newly appointed councilor Jayce to speak with the inmate she wanted to question. Arriving at Still Water Hold by boat she made her way to the entrance. When she came up to the desk at the entrance hall of the prison she saw this huge man sitting behind it, looking like he was kind of slacking off. Grabbing his attention she began speaking.

"I need to speak with one of the inmates."

"Yeah well, folks in here aren't usually very talkative."

"This one was hit by friendly fire. He's got reason to talk. Should've been sent in very recently." There was a pause in the conversation as the man began thinking about all the prisoners recently entering that might've fit the description.

"Oh. Inmate 2135. Yeah I'm, uh, afraid that's not possible right now."

"Why not?"

"Uh, well, there's been… an incident."

"What kind of incident?"

"The… not so pretty kind."

"You don't understand, I need to talk with him."

"Hah, don't you worry, you'll be able to as soon as his jaw works again."

"Who… Assaulted him?"

"Inmate 516. She's been here for quiet a while that one, Vi's a tough one.

"I see… Can I speak with uh, Vi was it?"

"Listen girlie, who are you exactly? Do you even have any kind of permission to talk with the prisoners here?"

"Caitlyn Kiramman, private investigator. I've gotten permission from Councilor Jayce to talk with anyone I wish, might they be relevant to my investigation."

He looked at her with a sharp calculating gaze. "Hmm, I see. A new seat on the council huh? Not everyday that happens."

"Indeed… so can I speak with her?"

"Yes yes, go ahead. Take the elevator to floor 40. She's probably in there doing something crazy so you'll know her when you see or hear her."

"Alright, thank you." And with that, Caitlyn made her way towards the elevator to meet up with this girl that had assaulted her prime source of information.

When the elevator doors opened to floor 40 there was a long dark corridor ahead of her. She could immediately hear loud thuds coming from one of the cells in the hall. Making her way forward and approaching the cell in question the noises just got louder. And finally, looking inside the cell she saw a girl with short pink hair. Tattoos all over her back and sweat dripping down her body. And as if she had heard Caitlyn approach she stopped punching the wall and slowly looked towards her.

"…Who the fuck are you?"

A/N: So, Caitlyn meets Vi for the first time, what's gonna happen?

This one was just a tad shorter than part 1 but still an okay length i'd say. Anyway, do look forward to more :)
