5 hours before Master Tengen's ambush, you were resting peacefully in bed until Kameko decided to pull up in your soul chamber to disturb you. Ever since she popped up the first time, she never came back again.
Kameko sat in her elegant throne, staring down at you with distress painting her beautiful face. Her delicate fingers gripped the arms on her throne as it turned white while biting her lips, showing her deep teeth marks imprinted on her skin.
You stood before her, wondering why you're here. "Are you here to show me how to escape from your crazy student? Or just to talk to me because you feel like it?" You cut to the chase since you had more important things on your hand. You couldn't be bothered by her unless she's going to help you.
"My brother is going to die, I can feel it." The wariness in her voice rumbled inside your soul chamber like an earthquake was about to take place. You had to balance yourself from the tremors.
Rolling your eyes, you huffed in annoyance. "Okay? I don't know what you want me to do. I don't have any energy to do anything, and your obsessive demon is trying to keep me hostage by letting this bug eat me! Why is it my job to protect your damn brother?! That's not my problem!" You had so much hate in your heart. It didn't bother you that you felt cold towards Master Tengen. There's no emotional attachment that makes you want to do this out of your good heart. You felt rotten to the core. All the bad things in your life piled up and looked where it put you—into captivity!
"I want to blame you for everything you put me through! But I know entirely this isn't your fault because it's the damn higher ups! I just can't accept the fact that it had to be like this!" Instead of lashing your anger at Kameko, you decided to hold your tongue because nothing was going to change. What's done is done. You can't go back in time to change the past for you or Kameko. You can cry and complain about your miserable life but that's it. It's either you dwell in it or change it, but you don't understand why you had to pick up their family drama, that's none of your business.
Kameko knew the burden you carried was because of her. She takes full responsibility for it. It's not like she wanted to curse her family. It was built up rage and despair that triggered everything. "I know, y/n! I know this is all my fault! I didn't think your birth would cross paths with Sukuna's revival! Nor the fall of the higher ups would cause mayhem like this! You can hate me all you want, but this is life threatening to humanity! If my brother dies, humans will die—including your loved ones right now!"
You gulped as there's still important people in your heart.
Kameko adjusted her position and clasped her hands shut as her eyes quivered in fear of the future. "My brother is no longer human. He's close enough to being a curse spirit. If he's killed, the veil between both worlds will crumble. More evil will be unleashed. You're locked up, the Sixth Eye is absent, and now the Star Plasma Vessel is next. The pillar that's keeping this standing will be lost for good. Curses will definitely evolve to be much more powerful than they were back in my era. Sorcerers will probably be killed if we lose him. I know this is a lot to ask for you, but please do it for the greater good." She begged, knowing you're hers and everyone's last hope.
You grumbled as you accepted it. You're only doing this for the people you love and care for. They're under a lot of stress to even keep the world together by a thread. They lost many people because of Sukuna and Kenjaku. It felt like it was your job to fix it since you could've prevented this if Sukuna didn't kidnap you. "You know, I'm going to rip apart what you created. Do you have a problem with that?"
Glancing at Kameko, a reassured look took over. "Of course," A small smile drew her lips upwards. "Create your own future, child. My time is different from yours. Build whatever you see fit in your era. All I ask is that we don't suffer another dark age being trampled by curses… And please lay Sukuna to rest. It's time for him to come home. His anger isn't good for his heart," Kameko bitterly chuckled, feeling her heart twinged in sorrow. She still had some regrets when it came to Sukuna, but she'll scold him once he's dead like her.
Before Kameko disappeared as her time was running up, she gave you the biggest jump start to your escape. Her voice faded away as she spoke, "The bug you're looking for is located close to your heart. Be careful of how you extract it. One wrong move then you're dead."
Immediately, you gasped and rose up from your sleep. You were drenched in cold sweats, feeling your heart racing against your rib cage and drumming inside your ears. "Mmm…!" You grunted as an acute pain shot throughout your chest, and you coiled from the intensity. It was like an escalating earthquake, getting bigger as the magnitude continued to grow. Your body visibly trembled while you held in your breath, believing it would lessen your pain however it wasn't.
Shit, I think…! That's where the bug is! But why is it reacting now?! Is it from Kameko's doing? Or maybe it's trying to kill me?!
Out of the time and day that Sukuna decided to leave you alone, you had to be struck by agony when there's no one to rush to your side. Your limbs kept twitching and retracting back into a fetal position. You breathed laboriously from your pursed lips, clutching your hands close to your heart as your pain tolerance couldn't take it anymore. It felt like you were being torn apart from the inside out starting at your minor organs to your major organs. Your stomach contracted as you sniffled from your runny nose. It pulverized you. Your body was a feast to this parasite, consuming you alive to obliterate your existence. Tears leaked from your sealed eyes and down your cold cheeks as a result. You couldn't stop crying.
It hurts! It hurts! It hurts! It hurts!
"AHHHH!" You screeched loudly as your voice traveled all over the estate.
You were on the verge of losing consciousness from the excruciating experience. You began losing touch of your senses and slowly fell limp and numb.
As your harrowing cries reached Sukuna's ears, he froze in his spot during the middle of his meeting and raised his hand for everyone to shut up. The hairs on his body rose, recognizing your distraught voice rippling in the air.
Something is wrong. She has never acted out for attention… Who's hurting her?! I will kill that person!
Without a word, Sukuna stormed out of his meeting to be by your side. He ran as fast as his feet could take him and broke your sliding door. There, he met your shuddering body laying on its side.
"Y/N!" Sukuna scooped you in his arms, shifting his position so you're looking at him with your weak eyelids. Your pale face and clammy skin worried him. His first initial thought was that someone had tried poisoning you. "Stay awake with me! You're not going to die!" Sukuna couldn't afford to lose you. You're his treasure piece that carries Kameko. If he lost you, then the Kameko bloodline will perish. No one else will hold her face and power. You were the only exception. He tried healing you, but it wasn't working. Your body was rejecting his power because you weren't wounded. When he realized that, he knew it was something more serious than he thought.
While Sukuna frantically yelled at his servants to get the doctor, you managed to pull yourself together and convince him to take out the bug. Nothing else would be torturing you but that bug.
"Hurts…"
Once you meekly uttered a word, his red eyes gave you his full attention. "What is it, little lamb? Keep going! Say anything!"
"Hurts…here…" Your trembling fingers pointed at your heart as your eyes kept rolling back. Just a little as a few seconds, the noises surrounding you sounded very distorted and distant. Your eyelids grew heavy and you blacked out as your body limped in his arms.
Right then and there, Sukuna comprehended your message and knew exactly what to do. He's the reason why you're in so much pain. The bug he planted inside of you was near your heart. Although he intended to keep it there for a little longer, he knew he couldn't be selfish. It's either you die or regain your power and be alive, so he chose the latter.
"Everyone leave!" Sukuna commanded as he wanted to be alone to do this process.

Approximately 2 hours before Master Tengen's ambush, you finally woke up from your dreaded deathbed.
"I feel different," you whispered, turning your head to the side and seeing Sukuna in his reading corner. You knew he waited for you to wake up, that's why he's occupying himself.
As if Sukuna had great hearing ability, he put the material he was reading away and marched over to you with a stern expression. He towered over you and informed you of your condition. "Be grateful that I heard your call. If I hadn't then you would've died. The cause of it was the cursed bug. I don't understand how it did that to you, but it's out of your body. It was trying to suck your lifeforce."
You scoffed at him. Now he wanted to play the hero when he did this to you? There's no way you'd go down on your knees to thank him. You haven't lost your mind just yet; you're fully aware of his manipulation. "Tch… leave me alone so I can rest. I don't want to see your face right now. You're the one who tried killing me with that stupid bug. Get out of my sight!" You hissed in frustration, narrowing your malice eyes at him. Your tolerance reached its peak, only because you were weak but now you're not, you're going to act more colder than you were before.
Sukuna sighed, knowing that it's his fault you almost died. He wasn't careful in watching you and how it affected your body. He totally understood your anger. "If that's what you want then I'll give you space. If you need anything just call for a servant."
Sukuna left.
You laid on the bed with a big smile growing on your lips. You felt it; your power rushed back into your body like a dam breaking and letting water pour out. Having your power back felt great. You're no longer feeling fatigued and going into hibernation. You're able to move around and get your business done.
"It took so long but it's here now…!" You madly chuckled to yourself as your insanity finally spiraled due to your horrible confinement. Your hands had to cover your gaping mouth from alerting the servants around the area. "I'm going to fucking kill everyone who dares to fuck around after the higher ups' deaths! Greed, greed, greed… We love that sin and motivation." You couldn't forgive the ones who imprisoned Gojo when he had nothing to do with your involvement. You also had a gut feeling they tried to detain his students too.
Pushing yourself up, your upper body felt light but you stayed sitting on the bed so the feeling could disappear. You got a little bit too excited and didn't treat your body nicely right after your deathbed. You glanced down at your outfit, wearing the beautiful garment from earlier. The gorgeous Earth toned colors were going to be stained with red and it'll smell like the grim reaper death list.
"I'm not Kameko, but I'll gladly dress like her to haunt everyone. They will face the true Kameko, tearing down this world and getting rid of the impurity."
As the overseer, your judgment was based upon how actions speak louder than words. Titles and reputations weren't anything special but a power to control others and make them submit. Sorcerers may have the power of the people, but you have the power of destruction. No matter the sacrifice sorcerers have made to keep this world running, they have no guilt for their evil actions in creating a false reality and unfair consequences.
Once you were aware that there's no guard patrolling your room, you followed your plan. You threw a similar junihitoe to what you're wearing onto the bed to frame your possible death. Candles were used to light up your room, so you purposefully knocked it over on flammable materials to make it seem like a fire had started and that you may or may not have survived. You watched it grow out of control like a wildfire in the forest as it scorched the land, taking lives from left to right. It grew tall, reaching up to the ceiling and stretched out as it signaled you to leave. You ran outside the room and jammed the doors so it looked like someone was trying to kill you from the inside, and you jumped off the building, landing safely on the ground and ran off.
Your heart was racing in adrenaline as it beated throughout your body. Fear was a contributing factor in your feelings, but that's because you didn't know what lurked in the forest and how far you'll have to run to get out of this area. From the view above, it looked like an endless vast expanse of land that no matter how far you run, you'll never escape until you spiritually leave your body behind for animals to eat. You couldn't afford for that outcome to happen; you had people to kill and a world to destroy for a rebirth of a new world.
Rustling noises of Mother Nature played suspenseful music in your ears as your legs didn't stop running, and you put all your focus into finding a route out of this place.
"Tengen, if you die on me, I will murder your dead body too! You're not seeing your sister this easily!"

One hour after the ambush at Master Tengen's altar…
Arriving at your final destination, you walked past a bunch of dead, bleeding bodies leading up to the entrance where he resided. From the clan emblem on their clothes, you knew they hailed from the existing clans that's in the jujutsu society. This infuriated you as you clenched your fists and your breathing tightened.
"I guess they all wore a mask until the very end… What a deceptive world this is,"
You didn't pity the sorcerers who died trying to kill Master Tengen. They chose this path and got themselves killed in return. It only fueled more reasons to eliminate sorcerers.
Getting closer to the entrance, you heard the loud commotions erupting from the opened doors. People were shouting and screaming. It was hard for you to detect if Master Tengen was still alive at this point. If he's closer to a cursed spirit then he didn't have much time to survive as sorcerers exorcize curses. He might be on the brink of death as you finally get there.
"Kameko, don't get mad at me if your brother is dead. Blame your stupid dog who tried killing me. I ran in circles trying to get out of that hell." You recalled getting confused so many times as you felt like you've been in the same area multiple times. You wanted to get the hell out of there before Sukuna had his men chase after you in case he didn't believe you died in the fire.
You stopped at the door and made your grand entrance so everyone knew you were well. In addition, you saw Master Tengen was still alive with two other sorcerers who're on his side and fought off his enemies. "Hi there! It's me, y/n! The person who killed the higher ups and got kidnapped by Sukuna!" Everyone froze in the room as your ominous aura intensified, petrifying them as it swallowed their body and soul. It felt like they were drowning in quicksand while god laughed at them, never looking back to save them from death. "I'm back in the flesh to bring back balance since I know you guys did imprison Gojo Satoru, but he's locked away by our main villain! And now you're trying to kill off our only pillar in this world? Without Master Tengen… Your lives are doomed!"
Snapping your fingers, you attacked Master Tengen's enemy who was currently your enemy. You didn't need to hear their explanations because it's useless. Not only it'll infuriate you even more, but you already guessed what it was. In a split second, spikes shot up from the floor, stabbing sorcerers and lifting their body off the ground as they dangled like the beautiful crystals off from a chandelier. Blood dripped from their big wounds and created small puddles beneath them.
Fuck. Maybe I shouldn't have released too much power when I'm physically tired. You felt the whiplash affecting your body as you subtly stumbled in place. You couldn't help yourself with the adrenaline of annihilation kicked in.
"You… You traitor!" One of the head clan members screamed at the top of their lungs. Their rage and irritation bounced off the walls and into your ears yet you tuned it out. You're not trying to hear their complaints after coming back. "You and Master Tengen will pay—"
You did a little hand gesture and began injecting your cursed energy into their body as they screeched in agony. Your energy wasn't compatible with their bodies. It was trying to fight back against yours like how a person's body would fight off viruses to stay healthy. However, they wouldn't win because your cursed energy was very potent. "I'm not the only traitor… You guys too!" You paced around the room and taunted these poor sorcerers. "You guys wanted to take over for some reason when it was unnecessary! Master Tengen had it under control. Your job is to protect non-sorcerers and fight off curses, not interfering with who rules this system because that's my job. I'm done living in constant fear and being suppressed. I'm going to restart this era by killing everyone who I deem is a threat! Like you guys!" You eerily smiled, purging their body until their harrowing screams died off. It sounded so beautiful and appealing, like a choir singing in front of their god, praising it while they hoped for good luck and fortune to strike.
The bodies dropped and you stared at the three sorcerers who were left behind.
"Kameko was so insistent on me seeing you but you're perfectly fine! You're not dead. You have two bodyguards who can protect you." You didn't know who they were nor did you care since you had other business to attend to. "If you're safe, I'll be leaving because I have people to kill—"
Just when you were going to turn away, Master Tengen stopped you. "Restarting this world will take time to rebuild, you know that right? Are you prepared for the hard work?" He was concerned that your current rage was blinding you as it prevented your consciousness from thinking clearly.
You tilted your head to the side and stared at him as if he knew what went on in your life. "No. Once I'm done, I'm gone. I don't care if humans evolve or if curses become stronger, that's not my problem. I loathe this world since the day my parents died, and I discovered the hidden truth which murdered me! This world turned two powerful sorcerers into resentful beings! And I'm tired of feeling mad and angry with my living situation. I want to be free. Everyone can fend for themselves while I'm off dead or alive…"
Then someone named Yuki interrupted you. "Your plan is weak and has so many holes. What will leaving do? It might repeat history again."
"And have my life slayed just like Kameko after rebuilding this place? Um, no thanks. I don't have a kind heart and unconditional love for this distorted world." You're not willing to live in Kameko's footsteps and be betrayed by the people you built and gave power to. It's an awful ending which shouldn't happen twice in the bloodline. "I'm just killing traitors who rebelled. The sorcerers who haven't strayed from their duties are spared, and they can do whatever they feel like what's best for the situation. As I stated before, I don't care what happens. When I'm gone, I'm gone. I have no meaning left for this world anymore!"
"You're not giving yourself enough credit." Yuki said, stepping in front of you as you guys were the same height. Her eyes couldn't be taken off from your dulled and tired orbs which held so many negative emotions. You were swimming in your own death, ready to give up your powers after vanquishing all evils. "You say you don't have a kind heart, yet you're going to kill the bad guys? What logic is that? You do have a soft spot for humanity…"
As Yuki mumbled on, it unlocked old memories of you, Yuji, and your friends. You recalled the happier times before your grandma was killed. You knew how to smile, laugh, and enjoy people's presence. To top it off, Yuji showed you how to be human with him. He was your dazzling sun in your darkest hours, lighting up the stormy room so you could see clearly with wandering eyes. He never wanted you to be sad as your happiness gave him joy, and his selflessness paved a way to your heart and shattered your thorny walls.
My friends deserve a better world than they have right now. In this world they choose to build will reflect upon their wishes, creating a place where unity and equality are valued… because we don't have that in our broken system. Nonetheless, I just hope Yuji lives the longest life now that Sukuna is out of his body. I'll make sure he doesn't get killed by that monster. You said to yourself.
Suddenly, Master Tengen burst your bubble. "Kameko's virtues still resides in you…" he chuckled. Just like Yuki, there's no way you didn't have a heart of stone to turn a blind eye to what's happening. You still had people in your heart whom you love and cherish deeply for. You wouldn't kill for no reason; if you didn't care, you wouldn't have saved him even if Kameko had begged. A small part of you still remains rational.
You scowled in disgust and rolled your eyes, immediately walking away. You had nothing else to say. Your ears tuned out any words from the sorcerers in the room as you had business finding Kenjaku. He's a mysterious being that can never leave a trace. You wished Sukuna had mentioned where he would be instead of it being a goose chase. "Whatever Master Tengen, I'll see you in the new world!"
