"No I am not going to let my club look like whores" I glare at William "You have some nerve even coming in here! You are the one who made us a enemy! Now leave!"
"I was trying to set up a truce" William gets closer to me and I can see he is angry "You are going to try and cost me my job! You are nothing you know that? You abandoned your child and while she may say she forgives you I think it is false! How could anyone forgive someone who gives them hope of happiness and rips it away?"
"Get out" He scoffs and walks out of my office "I already know she still does not forgive me fully"
I sigh and look down at my papers as the bell rings. I can hear kids walking past as tears start to fall. I have one more period before they come in. I can get a quick cry out before then.
-Time skip-Rachel pov-
"Alright!" I look at my mom who has visible tear stains on her cheeks "Our duet winners have been decided! They are going to be Quinn and Fran! They won two to one"
"Uh teach you ok?" Angel looks at mom worried "You seem to have tear stains down your cheeks"
"I am fine" Mom pulls out some papers "I Uh have the trios and group lyrics!"
"Actually we all talked and wanted Santana to do the solo" Tracy elbows heather "Ow! It is true!"
"Oh Uh ok" Mom moves to the side "Santana you can show us what you have if you are ready"
"Well if you have it that is fine" Mom shakes her head and Santana slowly walks to the front "Alright thanks"
Santana looks at me and I shrug so she just goes on.

Well sometimes I go out by myself
And I look across the water
And I think of all the things, what you're doing
And in my head I paint a picture
'Cause since I've come on home
Well my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over
Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over, Valerie?
Valerie
Valerie
Valerie
Did you have to go to jail
Put your house on up for sale, did you get a good lawyer?
I hope you didn't catch a tan
I hope you'll find the right man who'll fix it for ya
Are you shopping anywhere
Changed the color of your hair, are you busy?
And did you have to pay that fine
That you were dodging all the time, are you still dizzy?
Since I've come on home
Well my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over?
Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over, Valerie?
Valerie
Valerie
Valerie
Well sometimes I go out by myself
And I look across the water
And I think of all the things, what you're doing
And in my head I paint a picture
Since I've come on home
Well my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over?
Stop making a fool out of me
Why don't you come on over, Valerie?
Valerie
Valerie
Valerie
Valerie
Valerie
Valerie
Valerie
Valerie
Why don't you come on over, Valerie?
"How was that?" Mom is staring at the wall when Santana snaps her fingers "Coach C?"
"Uh that was great" Mom stands up and walks to the door "Glee is dismissed for today"
"Follow her" I turn toward Fran who nods toward the door "We will stay her just go make sure she is ok"
"I will call my mom and make her get here" Santana pulls out her phone "She said the meeting would be short"
"Thanks" I get up and run after my mom "Mom! Wait up!"
"Hey go ride with the others ok?" I stop her by grabbing her wrist but she does not turn "You should just go home Rachel"
"Not till you talk to me" She shakes her head and I see a tear fall down "What happened today?"
She slowly turns toward me "I know you do not still fully forgive me Rachel" Oh it is that "We have passed therapy and counseling but...what do I have to do?"
"There's only one thing I hold out hope for" She gives me a confused look and motions me on "I want to do one thing with just us and Beth ok? It is the number one thing i have wanted to do with my mom"

I am in my pajamas with Beth who is babbling beside me. There is popcorn, candy, and so many animated movies. This honestly feels so weird to me. But it also feels so normal too.
-Rachel singing-
Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
The girl who has everything?
Look at this trove
Treasures untold
How many wonders can one cavern hold?
Lookin' around here you'd think
Sure
She's got everything
I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty
I've got whose-its and whats-its galore
You want thingamabobs?
I got twenty
But who cares?
No big deal
I want more
I wanna be where the people are
I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancin'
Walkin' around on those — what do ya' call 'em? — oh, feet
Flippin' your fins you don't get too far
Legs are required for jumpin', dancin'
Strollin' along down a — what's that word again? – street
Up where they walk
Up where they run
Up where they stay all day in the sun
Wanderin' free
Wish I could be
Part of that world
What would I give
If I could live
Out of these waters?
What would I pay
To spend a day
Warm on the sand?
Bet ya on land
They understand
Bet they don't reprimand their daughters
Bright young women
Sick of swimming
Ready to stand
And I'm ready to know what the people know
Ask 'em my questions
And get some answers
What's a fire and why does it — what's the word? — burn?
When's it my turn?
Wouldn't I love
Love to explore that shore up above?
Out of the sea
Wish I could be
Part of that world
Out of the sea
Wish I could be
Part of your world
"So little mermaid first?" Rachel smiles with a nod "I must say I like this movie marathon plan"
"My dads never wanted to do one" Rachel frowns deeply "They always said I was stupid for wanting to watch a bunch of fairytales"
"Wanting to be a princess is not stupid" I stand up with Beth and point toward the stairs "Follow me!"
Rachel follows me upstairs. I pull out dresses and my make up. Rachel looks confused at me and I just put on some music. I toss a Belle like dress to her and point to the bathroom.

Ma chère Mademoiselle, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight. And now we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents: your dinner!
Be our guest! Be our guest!
Put our service to the test
Tie your napkin 'round your neck, cherie
And we'll provide the rest
I have Beth in her chip costume and I put on my beast suit. It is just the princes garb. I smile as Beth plays with the cup handle. Just looks so precious.
Soup du jour
Hot hors d'oeuvres
Why, we only live to serve
Try the grey stuff, it's delicious
Don't believe me? Ask the dishes
They can sing, they can dance
After all, Miss, this is France
And a dinner here is never second best
Go on, unfold your menu
Take a glance and then you'll
Be our guest
Oui, our guest
Be our guest!
When Rachel comes out I sit her down in my chair. I do her hair likes Belles and do her make up. She smiles as I make her look like Belle. I love that child like wonder in her eyes.
Beef ragout
Cheese soufflé
Pie and pudding, en flambé
We'll prepare and serve with flair
A culinary cabaret!
You're alone
And you're scared
But the banquet's all prepared
No one's gloomy or complaining
While the flatware's entertaining
We tell jokes! I do tricks
With my fellow candlesticks
And it's all in perfect taste
That you can bet
Come on and lift your glass
You've won your own free pass
To be our guest
If you're stressed
It's fine dining we suggest
We make it back downstairs and I put in the Beauty and the beast. While the ads will pay I can make small beauty and the beast foods. This is now my parenting style! I just hope she continues to enjoy it
Be our guest! Be our guest! Be our guest!
Get your worries off your chest
Let us say for your entree
We've an array; may we suggest:
Try the bread! Try the soup!
When the croutons loop de loop
It's a treat for any dinner
Don't belive me? Ask the china
Singing pork! Dancing veal!
What an entertaining meal!
How could anyone be gloomy and depressed?
We'll make you shout "encore!"
And send us out for more
So, be our guest!
Be our guest!
Be our guest!
Life is so unnerving
For a servant who's not serving
He's not whole without a soul to wait upon
Ah, those good old days when we were useful...
Suddenly those good old days are gone
Ten years we've been rusting
Needing so much more than dusting
Needing exercise, a chance to use our skills!
Most days we just lay around the castle
Flabby, fat and lazy
You walked in and oops-a-daisy!
Be our guest! Be our guest!
Our command is your request
It's been years since we've had anybody here
And we're obsessed
With your meal, with your ease
Yes, indeed, we aim to please
While the candlelight's still glowing
Let us help you, we'll keep going
Course by course, one by one
'Til you shout, "Enough! I'm done!"
Then we'll sing you off to sleep as you digest
Tonight you'll prop your feet up
But for now, let's eat up
Be our guest!
Be our guest!
Be our guest!
Please, be our guest!
"So" I sig down the plate of food next to the junk food "This work for you?"
"This is better than I ever imagined it could be" Rachel gets up with Beth and hugs me "Thank you"
I smile and hug them both tightly. This is definitely a moment I will always remember.
