Prior to heading out, you pulled Megumi to the side while Yuji was talking to Choso. You had to tell him about your main fear of sucking out Sukuna's power.

"What's up?" Megumi didn't know why you needed him, but he knew it's something serious if Yuji wasn't invited.

Your lips pursed from your anxiety eating you as your fingers fiddled. Megumi could clearly tell it had to do with the final fight. "I don't know if I'm going to survive. Just absorbing the small fracture of Sukuna's power is still in my system after two days! I don't feel a slight difference; it feels the same on day one."

Megumi's eyes widened and quickly glanced over his shoulder to see that Yuji was still occupied. He knew how much Yuji cared about you, and it would drive him mad if you weren't going to live. He witnessed it first hand already. "y/n, you need to live! That's an order. Itadori went berserk after you disappeared! I don't think I can handle him if you're dead. I'm scared for both of you guys." Megumi went into details about Yuji's breakdowns when you were gone for a few months.

This only made matters worse because you can't control if you're going to die or not. Of course, you don't want him to live in misery but you couldn't decide that. "Megumi, I understand your concern, but it's only if my body can handle it."

"Is there any other way to kill Sukuna?"

"No, I thought about this before. If Kameko couldn't fully kill him then how can I kill him with regular jujutsu? I have to corrupt his power to weaken him and absorb it so he can't escape death again. There's no loophole to guarantee my safety because at the end of the day, I'm the destruction of jujutsu." You gripped his shoulders tightly and locked eyes with him. "Megumi, you can't tell Yuji this until I'm unresponsive. I don't want him to interfere with my plan or else he'll end up dead. I know you don't want him to die because he was dragged into this mess to save you. Protect his heart for me… If it's my fate to die after killing Sukuna then let it be. Just tell Yuji that I accept his feelings and feel the same way for him."

"y/n…" Megumi mumbled in frustration. He didn't want to be locked between you guys, and he didn't like how you're being selfish for the greater good… Yet he knew nothing else would be able to take down Sukuna but you. It did hurt Megumi as you saved his sister and you're a long time friend. He doesn't want to see you leave like this. "If that's what you wish then okay," He bit his lips and nodded his head, feeling his chest tightened.

After some last preparations, everyone departed and wished each other good luck.

You, Megumi, and Yuji moved out as they followed you to an endless forest where trees covered the sky, engulfing you in complete darkness.

"Sukuna's estate is around here. I got lost a couple of times trying to escape. It's really secluded from the city and anywhere I'd say. It took me a long time to get back to Tokyo," You informed the boys since you knew they're curious where you're leading them and they're just following you. "I doubt Sukuna left this place. I have a feeling he's waiting for me to return. Take out anyone who dares to interfere and I'll hold off Sukuna until you guys come."

"Okay, that's no problem. It's much easier to only fight Sukuna without his loyal comrades." Megumi agreed because it's going to be hard enough to deal with Sukuna and adding more people into the mix will be harder to get the work done.

On the other hand, Yuji was quiet about it and chose not to say anything.

As you guys kept roaming, you saw the estate peeking through the tall trees as you knew you three were close.

"We're almost there—!" You stopped speaking when you heard noises encircling you guys, causing everyone to be alerted. You made hand gestures as you signaled them to handle whoever was there so you could get to Sukuna first.

The boys nodded, understanding the situation and bolted in opposite directions and you ran straight to his estate. You knew nobody was going to lay a finger on you. You're still Sukuna's special treasure he adores.

Your legs kept running until you met the gate and you took out the guards there. You erupted spikes from the ground and injected your cursed energy to corrupt theirs while ending their lives.

Taking down Sukuna's followers was easy as you effortlessly slain them. You went through many levels to reach his throne room.

"Shit… I went through fifty flights of stairs…! I'm beat!" You leaned on the railing to support your burnt out body. A short rest was needed to pull yourself together to face Sukuna. You're not going to lie, you were a bit scared to see him again. You weren't sure how crazy he's gotten since you left. You absolutely knew he's delusional. Sukuna would call you Kameko even though he knew she's dead, and he would pretend that he's talking to her but in reality, he's talking to a wall. He clearly needed help because forcing you to dress up like Kameko wasn't solving it either. It only worsened his mental state. All you're hoping was that he doesn't tackle you at first glance.

"Alright! I'm ready to enter…" You breathed out from your nostrils and stared at the direction where his throne room was located and you stormed there. Your fists were tightened as your mind was ready for peace.

Kicking the double doors open, you were greeted by Sukuna sitting in his big lavish throne with his environment in a mess. It looked as if a tornado hit this place. Everything was torn apart or broken because he couldn't find you. The big strong demon you knew was a big fucking mess since his comfort known as you weren't there to soothe his anxiety of losing his master again.

A scowl molded your face, feeling disgusted by the fact he actually needed Kameko to make him whole again. What a disgrace. Being miserable is a reason to live in a fucking pig sty. I thought he's the king of demons? But it doesn't seem like he lives up to that title anymore. It amused you so much because he's nothing without you. He's a dog without its owner.

"Awh, did someone miss me? I'm surprised you haven't died yet." You loudly announced, pouting your lips as you're stringing his feelings.

Sukuna's face lit up like he heard a beautiful voice of an Angel singing in his ear that he had to find where it came from. His eyes were bulging out and he scrambled towards you. He was extremely livid as steam drew out from his nose. "Who gave you the permission to leave?! I don't care if you have killed sorcerers and interfered with Kenjaku's little game, but you don't leave without me! I'm going to rip your legs off so you can never leave me, y/n! I'm so close to hunting down your little wallflower and killing him right in front of your eyes so you don't pull this stunt ever again!" Sukuna roughly gripped your shoulders as he aggressively twisted you around while you managed to maintain your balance to stay glued to the ground. His sharp nails were digging into your clothed skin as your face scrunched up in discomfort.

So he knew this whole time I was involved… Surprised he didn't chase after me. It would've been an interesting situation. I doubt Kenjaku would've been able to control him this time… You said to yourself.

Gripping his arms, you moved in the opposite direction with the same weight so now Sukuna's forced to tip around like he's being thrown in a four walled trampoline. You sneered at him, revealing your devilish eyes that reaped for his soul. "Oh Sukuna, you're still going to be this feeble demon because Yuji doesn't have your power anymore." You whispered in his ear to spite him. "I made sure you wouldn't be able to kill him so I took it!" This time the table has turned and you clawed his skin while summoning spikes to stab and infuse your cursed energy into his body to weaken him.

Sukuna pushed you away from him as he felt his body being invaded by your explosive energy. It was trying to eat him alive and consume his power which he didn't like. It disgusted him while his skin crawled. He never knew you'd pull this type of stunt on him. "Y/N!" He screamed your name and summoned his domain expansion, but you were quick to disable it, turning on your nullification and anti-domain techniques. You didn't care if both techniques drained you more because he needed to be stopped.

Then the battle continued as you and Sukuna did hand-to-hand combat.

Meanwhile with Yuji and Megumi,

They caught up with each other after taking down their opponents. They ran past the gate, seeing that Sukuna's reinforcements were wiped out by you.

"Let's get to y/n!" Yuji shouted as he was very worried about you. His heart couldn't handle the thought of you taking on Sukuna by yourself. You were too precious and didn't want to see you injured. Yuji wanted to be the one to help and protect you even if you didn't want him to.

Megumi had a concerned look, recalling your words from earlier. He didn't know how he'll inform Yuji about your wishes. He knew it's going to be hard on him and he didn't want to see Yuji fall into depression. Right now, I need to stop thinking about what's going to happen in the future when we're not there yet. y/n is still fighting Sukuna and all we need to do is support her. Megumi snapped himself out of his negative thoughts so it wouldn't distract him.

"I'm pretty sure y/n has her nullification technique on, so I won't be able to use my shikigami to support any of us." Megumi told Yuji so he's prepared ahead of time.

As the boys went up the levels to get to his throne room, they felt the ground rumble like an earthquake attacking the building to signify the mass destruction that was going to occur. The force was strong that they fell every time they tried getting up and moving closer.

"Geez! I wonder what's happening?!" Yuji leaned against a wall to help him stand up.

The boys couldn't figure out what kind of destruction was occurring. They're just surprised the building hasn't crumbled down yet by all the shaking.

"I'm not too sure but it doesn't sound good." Megumi in an irritable tone while pushing through these tremors.

Finally, they arrived at the scene. They saw you repeatedly stabbing Sukuna with your cursed energy. Your nullification technique still allows you to use yours but not others. You were visibly tired from the two techniques being run and your body hasn't recovered from taking in Sukuna's energy from Yuji's body. On the other hand, Sukuna was getting weaker each passing minute. His body couldn't function properly as he stumbled throughout your fight with him. He hated how you were getting the upper hand in this.

"Let's go!"

Yuji ran first and then Megumi charged afterwards, joining in to kick down Sukuna.

You jumped back when the two finally came and you leaned on a tall pillar to catch your breath. At some point it got harder to breathe as if your airways were contracting. You couldn't really keep up with Sukuna's movements because he's agile and sneaky with his counterattacks. He wasn't holding back even though he saw you as his Kameko. You were now a threat in his eyes who needed discipline since you disobeyed him.

Your gasping turned into extreme dry coughs which led your eyes to water as it felt like someone was choking you. You knew it was your body telling you that it's being overworked. You even felt your heart stressed from the excessive amount it's pumping blood throughout your body. It was hurting you more than helping.

While Megumi and Yuji were holding off Sukuna as much as possible, Sukuna was able to overpower Megumi and knock him unconscious with a hit to his head, throwing his body across the room. This angered Yuji as his brows knitted and eyes were raging like a lion who was ready to attack and devour his prey alive.

"I had enough of you Sukuna! This ends now!" Yuji's knuckles turned white and he gritted his teeth. He's tired of being tormented by the demon. He knew it's all his fault that this world was falling apart, but Yuji's way of fixing it was finishing Sukuna once and for all.

"Fufu…" Sukuna laughed at his face. "Do you really think you can defeat me? Even our little y/n there is having a hard time keeping up with her own abilities." He glanced over at you hacking your lungs out and Yuji saw how you weren't in the best condition to fight. "Megumi could get some hits on me but because y/n is canceling our techniques, we can't unleash our trump cards. What a shame."

Yuji snarled, glaring at Sukuna as his blood boiled. "Yeah right! Your abilities would kill us instantly. However, Y/n is able to suppress you and reduce you down to a regular sorcerer. How does it feel to not be able to use your domain and end this in a snap? Aren't you the hopeless one? Not me or y/n. As long as she's still conscious we can both stop you… And I know you'll never hurt her because she's important to you."

Sukuna scoffed at his foolishness. "You're her weakness, and you're willing to stand in front of me to die? You'll die with honor, so hit me!" He manically laughed, puffing his chest out because he's going to kill Yuji since you're too preoccupied trying to catch your breath while struggling to keep your power going when your body can't handle the pressure anymore. It's going to be a great death where you're not able to save him. You're way too far to rush over and be a hero. If he couldn't have you then neither can Yuji. "Hit me with all you got! I'm still a monster who has superhuman strengths! And your puny punches can't harm me!" Sukuna opened his arms out so you could take a punch or two. He imagined Yuji's punching being as light as a baby's hit, after all, he's just a human.

"AAARRHHHHH!" Yuji leaped in and threw a couple of punches and kicks, aiming everywhere.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

All of Yuji's strength caused no damage to Sukuna whatsoever. He couldn't penetrate a body made from the victims he ate and grew in force and power. It's like hitting a tree with many layers. No matter how much you strike it, no force can take it down without a weapon being involved.

Sukuna was amused by Yuji's determination peeking through. His punches and kicks felt like a massage undoing the knots in his body. He loved watching Yuji be motivated by his anger. He couldn't wait to see that lovely drive from you when he holds Yuji by his throat and snaps it in half.

"You poor idiot, direct your anger to y/n's descendant, Kameko for creating this fucked up society! Now you die!" Sukuna wasted no time snatching Yuji from behind, wrapping his hand around his neck and shoving Yuji against his chest. Yuji tried wiggling out but Sukuna tightened his grip as his sharp nails tore his skin and blood oozed out.

Damn now I've done it! y/n is going to be so mad at me! Yuji knew he fucked up, letting himself believe he'll be able to do some damage to Sukuna when there's clearly a big power difference.

"Oh y/n! I thought you were trying to prevent this!" Sukuna called, staring in your direction to find blood on your shirt. Surprisingly, your dry coughs turned bloody and his heart twinged from the miserable sight of you overworking your body. However, he didn't let the new sight of you distract him from his main focus.

You felt drained and your head began to throb, but you still kept your techniques up and running like there's no tomorrow. Damn… I knew I shouldn't have let him come! I don't even have much strength to keep my body moving. If I turn off one of my techniques, I know he's going to put me in a position where it's a deadlock. I would use my other techniques but that also requires more energy that I currently don't have anymore. I only have one thing to do…

You bent down to pick up a shard of glass next to your feet, and you grinned widely at the both of them, placing the sharp edge on your neck. Yuji was horrified while Sukuna was confused. "If you kill Yuji, I'm going to kill myself! I am the last line of Kameko…and I know how much you worship and love her. You even admit it yourself, I have her face. I know you mistaken her for me when she's clearly not in this world anymore. So make your move." You pushed the blade lightly, causing your skin to break and blood to spill.

"y/n! Don't kill yourself because of me!" Yuji cried as he didn't want to be the reason you die after him. He wanted you to live even if he's no longer with you. Yuji knew you'd be alright because you're strong and you have people who care and love you just like he does. If he ended up dying in Sukuna's hand, then he knew it's his fault since you told him not to come. "I'm not worth it! There's better people out there!"

You chuckled while your lips quivered and your eyes watered. "So now you want to say that when I said it to you…! Don't reduce yourself because you don't want me to die. This is my life, Yuji. I have lived in misery since the day I was born. Please don't act like the hero. You were never supposed to be a sorcerer and stomach these tragic events, but it happened when you crossed paths with Megumi." As you blinked, your tears rolled down your cheeks and you sniffed through your stuffy nose. "I'm not the only strong one here; you are too. I'm glad my days with you weren't miserable but memorable!"

Then your whole attitude changed when your eyes flickered at Sukuna and your lips frowned while glaring at him. "Well Sukuna…since you're not letting him go, I hope you eat yourself alive!" Taking one deep breath, you gripped the glass tightly and was ready to slash your throat open until Sukuna threw Yuji down and zoomed to you and knocked the weapon out from your hand. His eyes were bloodshot and scared as his face was inches away from yours. You could see his pain and rejection swallowing his soul, and you knew it was directed towards Kameko. He still wanted you despite the fierce fight from earlier.

Yuji coughed as he dropped on his knees, touching his throat while Sukuna couldn't contain his anger. He pushed you towards the pillar behind you as the collision caused your back to ache and possibly bruise and held you at your shoulders, squeezing them tightly. "How dare you hurt yourself in front of me?! You're not allowed to do that even if I'm dead! I don't get why you're so rebellious? If only Master—"

A condescending laugh drew out from your lips as you insanely looked at him with contempt. "You know your master is waiting for you on the other side. Why don't you go say hello?" Your voice gruffed at the end as you seized this opportunity to drain his cursed energy out from his body.

Your cobra-like grip clutched his upper arms and consumed him as fast as you could. Because half of your energy was centered on your techniques, you turned it off and used it for killing Sukuna. You even threw in more spikes to stabilize Sukuna from moving. He roared at the top of his lungs, feeling his body being sucked up and getting very light as if his soul was losing connection to his body.

"Y/N!" He retaliated and used his hands to claw underneath your ribs, breaking his feline nails into your flesh as it tore it open and bled profusely. You weren't sure if he had punctured a few organs or not, but your torso was covered in red.

Yuji screamed and was about to run and help you, but Megumi, who woke up just in time, tackled him down and locked Yuji in his arms as he flung around, trying to hit Megumi to save you.

Tears streamed down Yuji's reddened eyes as he watched the girl he loved and cared the most get injured and could die at any given moment. "Fushiguro! Let gooooo! y/n needs our help! Why are you trying to stop me?!" He hyperventilated, feeling his chest cave in and crushed his lungs. He felt betrayed by Megumi for not allowing him to save you.

Megumi secured Yuji with his arms and legs being a human rope. He mentally apologized for breaking his promise with you, but he had to tell Yuji since he's already out of control. "This is what y/n wanted! She's saving everyone for the greater good even if it means she dies!" He tried so hard to contain Yuji that he summoned his shikigamis as reinforcement to hold him down.

"That's bullshit!"

"But it's the only way! She has to drain Sukuna's cursed energy so he can die! Her body is having a hard time breaking it down so when she obtains his energy, there's a slim chance of her surviving this ordeal! I'm sorry, Itadori… we can't stop her from doing this. Only she can save us!"

Yuji kept wailing and resisting despite being tied up. He wouldn't stop fighting until he's free. You're too important and didn't want to hear anymore bullshit because there's always a way to save everyone. He doesn't want you to die through a sacrifice. Yuji called your name repeatedly until his voice died out. Megumi fully understood Yuji's concerns. He doesn't want to see you leave so soon because you can change the world. You have so much potential. It just sucked how it had to be like this.

Noises wouldn't stop coming out from Sukuna's mouth as he felt himself actually dying. You were doing more damage than Kameko ever did, and he was truly afraid of death. Although he crushed some parts of your organs, you never stopped holding him. Your power only got strong and potent along with your desire.

You glanced at Sukuna with pleading eyes. "Sukuna, just die… I don't understand why you're resisting so much because you're already close to death! Kameko is waiting for you on the other side. There's nothing to be scared of. She has a kind and unconditional heart, and she'll gladly take you in like the first time she met you on the street."

For some reason, he smiled down at you with mixed feelings and removed his hands from your wound. "And to think we could've ruled this world together…"

That's when you knew, it was time. He was going to die while you may not live. Your fate was unclear between the dense fog blocking your senses. Then sadness tugged at your lips and you had to say your final goodbye to Yuji who's hurting the most.

Turning your head back, you showed him your bright smile and twinkling eyes for the last time. "Yuji, live your life well! I'm glad you don't have to die because the higher ups are dead and Sukuna doesn't reside in you. Hopefully you can find happiness after this day, okay? Megumi, take good care of him!" As much as your lips wanted to crack into your muddy emotions, you had to be strong for Yuji. You couldn't tell him that you like him because it'll be too much for him to handle, that's why you told Megumi to do it.

Immediately, your body violently convulsed as you gasped from the pain of Sukuna's curse dominating every piece of your body. Your energy supply couldn't eat his curse at a fast rate. You got lightheaded as the world was spinning while you couldn't feel anything anymore. Just like what Sukuna felt, you were losing touch of your body and reality. Your eyes closed, embracing this death as a bright light emerged from Sukuna's body. The blazing flash made Yuji and Megumi shut their eyes as it was too much for them to bear.

Yuji, maybe in the next life, we can meet again and be able to rekindle the joy and experience that we had in this lifetime. I know there will be no boundaries for us to end up like this because it's going to be different. Please don't hate me for leaving. When I see you again, we'll be inseparable… Goodbye.

A big explosion rang in the air and it was silent…
