A/N: Here's chapter 1 of my brand new fic it's EO but also a Kathleen fic to!

Kathleen Stabler made her way into her the apartment she was sharing with her dad, grandma and little brother. She laid her bag down on the counter and looked around, she seen the tea pot on the counter and the patio doors open. She seen Olivia Benson sitting at the patio table that her dad had put out there a couple months back after he moved back in from his undercover operation. Kathleen quickly poured herself a cup of tea and a walked out to the patio

"Hey Liv." Kathleen said has she sit down across from her

"Hey Katie, your home early." Olivia said looking up from her files and MacBook.

" I could say the same about you. My boss gave me the afternoon off, to give me time to think."

"I needed away from the office, What did your boss think you need to think about?"

"You know the 2 year old Herndranz twins that I've been trying to find placement for ?"

" I do you'be brought them here a few times."

"They are being split up unless I can find somewhere for them. There's just something about these 2 liv, my boss got me certified has a foster home but he said it'll be a hard road to making it permeant."

"It will be but if you feel like something is pulling you to these kids then don't give up on them. I felt the same pull with Noah and eventually it worked out. You have so many people who will support you Katie. There's plenty of room here for them, Noah and I will help out to sweetheart."

"I feel like I need to do this for them. I need to talk to dad"

"Need to talk to dad about what?" Elliot said from the doorway where he was putting his gun away in the lockbox he then joined them at the patio table. He kissed Kathleen on the forehead before he joined Olivia on her side of the table kissing her gently on the lips before sitting down beside her.

"You remember the Herndranz twins that I've brought here before? They found homes for them but they'll be separated but I don't think that will be good for them given their trauma. My boss got me approved to be their foster home and I could possibly adopt them. But since I live here….."

"There's enough room and I'm fine with it if you feel like you need to do it then do it"

"Are you sure it will make things tight when Liz visits since the extra guest room is basically Noah's room now."

"It's fine sweetheart I count on one hand the times your sister has visited." Elliot said.

"Okay I'm going to go call my boss I'll be right back." Kathleen said hopping up and going inside the important

"Thank you for talking to her." Elliot said softly to her.

"You don't have to thank me, I've been where she is. And I wish I had, had someone to talk to me and give advice and share their experiences. I remember feeling that same pull with Noah and not knowing what to do about it. You've raised amazing kids El."

"Kathy did most of it and you helped to, you've always been there for the kids I don't think I ever thanked you for that." He said kissing her as Kathleen came back out to the patio

"Eww kid in the room." She said with a laugh which caused the older 2 adults to roll their eyes.

"What did your boss say smartass?" Elliot asked

"That I can pick the twins up today if I want. I was thinking they can sleep with me tonight and then we can work on putting the room together for them. I don't want them to have to stay at the group home longer then they have to. "

"I think that sounds like a solid plan."

"Liv I was wondering if you would go with me"

"Sure I can, el could you pick Noah up for me?" Olivia asked.

"Sure no problem!" Elliot said has Liv shut down her computer and gathered her stuff up before taking it inside and putting it in Elliot's room. She then came back out.

"We'll see you later dad." Kathleen said hugging Elliot, then Olivia gave him a quick kiss before following Kathleen out. 15 minutes later Olivia stood in the same facility that she had picked Noah up from all those years before. She ran her hand against her necklace which held Noah's birthstone in it, a gift from Elliot after he had officially met Noah.

"Here you go Kathleen." One of the workers said bringing the Herndranz twins to them.

"Thank you Layla" Kathleen said taking the little boy has he dove for her and the little girl tugging on Kathleen's pants so Kathleen picked her up to

"Hey you two, I want to introduce you to someone. I think you've met once before but This is my friend Olivia, Olivia this is Remington and Jagger. "

"Hi it's so nice to meet both of you." Liv said shaking both of their little hands. The little little girl Remington dove for Olivia who caught her. They then grabbed the twins small amounts of belongings and went out to the car where they had already installed the seats for the kids. A few minutes later they had put both of the kids in their seats and Kathleen was pulling out of her parking spot.

"Your mom would be proud of you Katie I know me and your dad are."

"Thank you Liv that means a lot." Kathleen said with a sad smile

A couple hours later Olivia and Kathleen made it back to the Stabler house after taking the twins to get some clothes and toys since like Noah before them they hadn't came with much. The little Remington or Remi as Kathleen called her had became attached to liv and wouldn't let her put her down. When they walked in they noticed some boxes and toys in the living room that hadn't been there when the 2 women had left.

"Why does it look like a toys r us storage unit exploded in here?" Liv asked Elliot who had came into the living room when he heard them.

"I remembered we had some of the kids stuff in storage so me and the boys went and got it." Elliot said.

"Thank you dad." Kathleen said giving him a hug mindful of Jagger of who was still in her arms.

"Look you to, you have so many toys to play with ." Kathleen said sitting Jagger to his feet as Olivia did the same with Remi. Kathleen then sit on the floor with them and started playing with them. Olivia walked over to where Elliot was leaned against the door frame.

"She's a natural, she gets that from you." Olivia said with a smile as they watched Kathleen with the twins.
