o you have any werewolf blood?" she asked Klaus.
"Not much, it would be enough to complete his transition. I'll find it, stay with him." She was surprised that it didn't sound like an order. Maybe he just knew that she would argue with him if she heard him trying to boss her around.
"How's it going, Tyler?"
"I'm currently trying not to drink the blood from any source that I can smell, so I'd say I feel fantastic."
"Right, I shouldn't have asked that. What can I do?"
"Distract me? All I can think about is your blood."
"Do you think it would help?"
"How am I supposed to know? I need blood, Caroline. That's all I can tell you." He slowly brought his mouth to her neck.
"Tyler, stop. Don't." He did, but his fangs came out and he got closer again.
Caroline froze for a moment before speeding a few feet away and flipping him to the ground.
"Caroline, are you okay?" Klaus asked as soon as he reached the top of the steps.
"He needs blood. Can you…?"
He knelt down to put a few drops into Tyler's mouth. "Did he do something to you?" his voice bordered between protective and possessive.
"I'll be okay, just a bit of severe bloodlust. I've been through worse," she attempted to calm him down but based on his reaction she had done the opposite.
"You shouldn't have to, Love," their eyes met again small smiles on both of their faces. If anyone except for Caroline saw him like this he might kill them, well, he wouldn't let anyone but Caroline see him like this.
"That didn't work either. Didn't you say you knew how to finish this, something about Elena?" Tyler asked.
"Yes, I am sure that her blood will finish the transition, but I wanted to see if any other type of blood would work. Unfortunately, it appears we will need to get the dopplegänger. Could you get a small bagful?"
"Me?"
"Yes, Tyler's bloodlust is getting greater and you've seen that he still wants your blood. I'll keep him company. Hurry back, Love."
She felt slightly dismissed but compiled anyway. Maybe she would pick a fight with him about it later. Tyler does need the blood, so it can wait.
"We need to do something about Klaus," Damon said, starting a meeting with the so-called 'Mystic Falls Gang.'
"What are we supposed to do, Damon? He's a thousand-year-old hybrid, we can't really compete with that," Stefan stated, tired with Damon's antics.
"And when he asks Elena to frequently give him her blood? What then? You what to create his army for him? There is something between him and Caroline."
"Caroline would never be with Klaus," Elena exclaimed.
"What if she was? She could be our little spy on the inside," Damon suggested.
"And when Caroline gets caught and viciously killed?" Bonnie questioned critically.
"At that point, we should have enough intel for a game plan," Damon claimed with a smirk and no one was completely sure he wasn't serious.
"We've all treated Caroline like crap for a while, we've treated everyone like crap for a while, but I won't let us continue. We have all been through too much," Bonnie stated, unwilling to hurt her friend more than she already had.
"Trying to ease your conscience, BonBon? When we all die at the hands of Klaus, what are you going to do then?"
"I'm going to love my friends until the second I die, protecting them as I do. You haven't known me for all that long, Damon, don't fight me on what I will do for my friends, I will win. I don't think any of you are hearing reason right now, I'm heading out."
As Bonnie opened the door to the Salvatore Boarding House, she saw Caroline about to knock.
"Is Elena inside?" Caroline asked her.
"She is. We should talk later, the two of us. I'll text you?"
"Yeah, sounds great. See you, Bon."
"Hey, Elena, I need some of your blood."
"Are you on a mission from Klaus?" Damon asked.
"What do you need it for, Care?" Elena asked.
"Tyler is turning into a hybrid, he needs your blood."
"We still hadn't made a decision on whether he would or not," Stefan muttered, displeased.
"You do realize how that sounded, right?" she asked him. Stefan rolled his eyes.
"How much do you need."
"Klaus said a small bag."
"Well, if Klaus said," Damon mocked.
"Tyler is hurting right now, I need some of your blood," she put her foot down, drew some blood, and headed back to Klaus. Or, to Tyler.
"You knew that I would need Elena's blood, you said as much when the topic came up."
"I had some other theories that needed to be tested, you did sign up to be the guinea pig. Why didn't you bring it up earlier?" he asked Tyler.
"I was a bit distracted by the whole craving blood thing. Do you have any theories as to why I don't want yours?"
"I don't appreciate your sarcasm. I would suspect it is because I am your sire."
"My what?"
"The vampire that created you, it is especially prominent towards originals."
"Why did you let Caroline stay?"
"I sent her out just a few minutes ago."
"You know what I mean, I could have hurt her," Tyler's voice suddenly filled with emotion.
"You wouldn't have, I wouldn't have let you. Why don't you get some rest?" With the smallest hint of compulsion that could have been defended against.
"Caroline, you found Elena alright?"
"I did, there are basically three places she's going to be. One is school, which we didn't have today. Two, Jenna's where there is an adult. Not too difficult."
"Why don't you give Tyler the blood?"
"You want me to do it?" she asked him, not believing she could be close to him or force blood down his mouth.
"He asked me to become a hybrid, he wants this. And, I believe in you."
"You're the only one," she probably should have said that quieter.
"I'll always believe in you. Now, give him the blood I'll be right here."
