Alex's POV: I wake up the next morning feeling sick. I get up quickly and go straight to the bathroom; at first everything feels OK but I quickly start throwing up. Oh, I hate this! 'Knocking on the door' Alex are you okay?! 'Justin asks' yeah, I'm fine 'I reply back through the door' after I'm done throwing up, I make sure to flush, wash my hands and use some bathroom spray.
'I open the door and see Justin standing outside giving me a look. Alex are you all right? You don't look good. No I feel sick 'I reply back to Justin' come on let's get you back to your room. 'Justin walks me back to my room; I lay down and cover up with my blankets I roll over and close my eyes, after a minute I hear my door close and I start to fall asleep.
'Justin and Max run downstairs quickly. Hurry up you guys you're going to be late, have a good day boys! 'Theresa says' Wait! Where's Alex?! I ran into her earlier she wasn't feeling good and went back to bed. OK I'll go check on her, you boys get out of here. Justin and Max leave for school while Theresa and Jerry get ready to open for business.
I'm worried about Alex I'm going to go check on her. 'Theresa tells Jerry' Alex, honey? Theresa sees Alex in a pretty deep sleep and does not want to wake her. Theresa goes over to Alex's bed and puts her hand on Alex's forehead checking for a fever. Alex's head is a little warm, but not to big of a cause for concern.
'Theresa goes back downstairs and calls the school to let them know that Alex can't make it in today, after that a few hours go by and Alex finally wakes up; she goes downstairs and doesn't see anyone in the living room, naturally Alex assumes that her parents are down in the Sub Station; Alex makes that her next stop. Alex walks downstairs still dressed in her pajamas and sees her Mom and Dad in the kitchen talking.
Alex, hey how are you feeling?! Not well 'Alex replies' come on! Where are we going Mom? The hospital, you need someone to take a look at you. 'Alex and Theresa go to the hospital when they arrive; they find a doctor and have her take a look at Alex. The doctor says that there is a chance Alex could die having this baby. Because of her age, health, mental stability, and many other factors, its not safe for her to have this child. The doctor tells them to come back frequently just to check up on Alex. Alex and Theresa are worried but decide to not tell the rest of the family.
It's been 5 Months... Alex is up in her room trying to figure out what to wear to school. She's finally noticing her stomach getting bigger and needs to find something to wear to not make it noticeable. Alex decides on a bit of a baggy shirt with a sweatshirt and some jeans.
Alex walks downstairs and immediately catches the attention for her family. Is it that noticeable? 'Alex asks' is what noticeable? We were just looking because of how you're dressed. What kind of flower is that? Alex asks "The Vendor" it's a very rare flower called the Rosalina Flower, it's the only one of its kind. So, are you interested? W-wait... you're giving me the flower, even though I can't pay for it? If you want it, then yes. Alex doesn't know how to feel, she is cautious and has a feeling that this is a scam, but at the same time Alex really want's the flower. It is gorgeous flower, it has beautiful rainbow petals, a white stem, and its big.
This flower is truly something special! "The Vendor" tells Alex. Innocent, something that needs a lot of love, something that you can never give up on. And one day it will grow into something that will change the world. I know that you don't know me, but promise me that you will always love and take care of this flower. Yeah, sure I promise. With that, "The Vendor" gives the flower to Alex. She turns around about to go inside when; Goodbye Alex, until we meet again! Wait, how do you...? Alex turns around to find "The Vendor" gone, like he was never there to begin with.
Alex goes back inside and feels something strange; Alex takes "The Flower" out of her hair and it starts to fade away. No, no, no, no, no... what's happening? Stop, No. Before Alex knew it "The Flower" was gone; she felt horrible, she was trusted to take care of this "Flower" and now its gone. Alex goes about the rest of her business, never forgetting that encounter.
It's been 8 months... Hey guys! Hey Alex, you're quite up and active today! Yeah, I'm feeling really good! That's great! I still can't believe there's a baby in there. Yeah, that's right soon you're going to be uncle Max 'Justin says excitedly' You want to feel?! 'Alex asks Max' Yeah! Go ahead. Whoa, it feels weird! Dude! 'Justin hits Max' Ow! Once the kids are there, they check in but have to wait for a while.
'Max sits with Alex while Justin calls their parents. While Justin is on the phone Alex is gripping the arm of the chair, Alex is squeezing so hard she's about to break it. Gah! Ahh! Uh! Alex are you okay? 'Max asks her' No Maxie I'm not! I just got off the phone with Mom and Dad they're on their way. You want to squeeze my hand?! 'Alex grabs Justin's hand and starts squeezing it extremely hard' Justin try's to not show the pain on his face knowing that what Alex is feeling is far worse. Alex look at me it's going to be OK just stay calm and breath- SHUT UP! AHH! Finally a doctor came and got Alex and took her in the room.
After what felt like forever their parents finally arrived. How's Alex? 'Theresa asks Justin' I don't know they took her a few minutes ago. OK you boys stay here. Alex is going to need me. Hey Alex! Hey Mom! Its okay, I'm here for you Mija, do you want to hold my hand? Please; Mom I'm sorry. For what? Everything I've done over the years I'm glad you're here, I love you Mom- I love you too Alex.
