Chapter 11: The Littlest Russo!

Hey there I'm your Mommy, I'm Alex, oh you're so beautiful, I love you. She is beautiful just like her mother! 'Theresa says with a big smile' Alex has the biggest smile on her face she's ever had in her life, Alex just can't stop looking at her little girl, her big beautiful eyes, her innocence. Hey sweetheart, we're going to have to take her for a while just to make sure that she's okay, get some rest hon.

Momma I did it! Yes you did and I'm so proud of you! Now you get some rest okay, I'll be right here. "Alex falls asleep almost immediately while Theresa gets up and moves Alex's long brown hair out of her face." It's around 6:00 P.M. right now, Alex has been asleep for about an hour now.

'Theresa goes out into the lobby to check on the boys. Mom hey how... how's Alex? She's sleeping right now but everything went well 'Justin sighs in relief' everyone sits down and waits outside the room and fall asleep.

The next morning rolls around... Alex wakes up and remembers that she just gave birth and is very sore. A nurse comes into Alex's room and asks her how she is feeling, and asks if Alex needs anything. Do you need anything hon? 'The nurse asks Alex' maybe some Jell-O. Absolutely! Anything else? Can... Can I see my daughter? Of course, I'll bring her to you now- Thanks! You're very welcome.

A few minutes pass and the nurse comes back with Alex's Jell-O, and with Alex's daughter. Here you go sweetheart! The nurse hands Alex her daughter and puts the Jell-O on the table next to her. I'll give you two some time- Wait! Thank you, for everything- You're welcome. The nurse leaves the room giving Alex some alone time with her daughter. Hey there, you're so beautiful, I can't believe I ever hated you, I'm so sorry. I love you... I love you so much! 'Alex starts crying' I will never give up on you! Alex suddenly remembers "The Flower Vendor" and what he said.

Oh My God! There never was a "Flower" he was talking about you. Alex smiles, finally understanding what "The Vendor" was talking about. But how did he...? It doesn't matter, holding you in my arms is enough. I guess you need a name huh? how about Rosalina! Yeah, it fits you perfectly. Aww! Rosalina, my little Flower! Alex spends the next hour, just... holding her daughter with a big smile on her face.

Justin wakes up and looks up at the clock again and sees that it's now 9:30; Justin walks around and finds a machine to make tea. 'Justin comes back and sees that everyone is now awake. We're going to see Alex, is everyone ready? 'The guys all say yes and get ready' best behavers everyone.

'Everyone enters Alex's room slowly and quietly. They all step further into the room and see Alex awake holding the baby. Hey Alex! 'Justin says' Hey! Come on in guys. Wow look at her she's so small and cute! Yeah, she's perfect 'Alex replies' Yes you are! 'Alex's eyes start to water' Alex, are you okay? I just can't believe I didn't want you.

I... I've never loved anything more it's like she's my entire world now! I look at her and everything is okay. Yeah, that's the feeling you get having a kid, they become your whole world. So, what's her name 'Max asks his sister' Rosalina! Rosalina Alexandra Russo. Awesome! I can't believe it my little niece. Do you want to hold her?! Yeah... yeah, I'd love to! 'Justin's heart melted looking at little Rosalina, Justin gives Rose a big goofy smile and hands her back to Alex.

Do you want to hold her Max? Is it okay? Of course it is Max! Here put your arm here make sure to support her head! She's kind of heavy. A little bit huh? She's about, 5 pounds. She's just looking? 'Max says' Max can't help but having a big smile on his face holding his niece. Here you go Alex! 'Max hands Rosalina back to Alex and goes to sit down' has anyone called Harper.

Uh... no we have not! We were so busy with you that we forgot to let Harper know what's going on. Oh, Harper's gonna have a fit! I'll call her now- thanks Justin! Mom, Dad, you guys want to hold her?! Yes, of course. 'While Theresa and Jerry are in absolute awe over there Granddaughter; Justin calls Harper. Hey Harper! Hey Justin what's going on is everything okay?! How's Alex? That is actually what I was calling you about. What's going on is she okay? Oh yeah, yeah, she's fine I was calling to tell you Alex had her baby.

What, Really?! I'm on my way right now, Bye! 'Harper hangs up the phone' Harper is on her way. Thank you for calling her Justin- you're welcome. 'Nothing really happens for the next few minutes besides everyone absolutely loving Rose.

I ended up falling asleep with Rosalina in my arms. I woke up when I heard the door to my room open; it was Harper, she was finally here. Alex hey... Oh My Goodness! Look at you! Hi I'm your Auntie Harper! Do you want to hold her?! Yes! 'Alex hands Rosalina over to Harper and opens up a Jell-O that she has on her table and starts eating it.'

'It's the only thing in the hospital that Alex can keep down. The nurse comes in and informs Alex that she is going to have to stay for about 2 days just to make sure that everything is OK with her and Rose but other than that she should be good to go anytime.

'It's late now and Alex is asleep, most everyone else is too besides Justin, who's sitting down in the room watching Rosalina. Justin holds Rosalina in his arms while he watches both her and Alex sleep. I will always protect you no matter what! 'Justin says' Directed to both Rose and Alex; who are both sleeping right now. Justin then stands up and walks out of Alex's room and hands off Rosalina to Theresa and Jerry and goes back into the room.

'A Day had passed and Alex was more than ready to go home. She was still really weak and was going to need a lot of help. Alex and the others went to the front desk to check her out; once out everyone piles into the car. Unfortunately, there is not enough room for Harper, but she came on her bike, so she got on and followed the Russo's home. Once there Alex, Theresa and Harper, all go up to the loft while the boys deal with the car.

Oh, it is so nice to be home! 'Alex says' Alex, go sit down! 'Harper says' Harper, I'm fine you don't have to baby me. Alex you just gave birth, you should still be in the hospital! Yeah well, I'm not, and I didn't want to stay there another day. Mom are you OK? Yeah, I just need to get a couple of things from the store. Mom you can go I'll be okay! I know I just don't want to leave you Mija.

Mom go I'll be fine I have Harper here with me; and once Justin, Dad and Max are done with the car they will be up here with me so go. OK but only if you promise me that you are not going to lift anything or stress over anything, and if you need anything you tell Harper or one of your brothers got it. I promise Mom- All right I'll be back soon. Bye Mom! '5 minutes later' Hey Harper can you watch Rosalina for me? I have to pee. Yeah of course Alex, I get to spend some time with my little niece! Thanks Harper.

Hi look at you you're so cute! 'Rosalina making random baby noises' Yeah that's right, you're the cutest little thing in the world. 'After Alex gets back from the bathroom she sits down and has a serious talk with Harper. Oh no, I know that face, that's serious Alex face what's wrong?! Look Harper you need to hear this even if you don't want to. Okay sure? I need you to make me a promise! Anything Alex.

If anything ever happens to me- Alex stop! Don't go there. You said that you would listen- Fine! If anything ever happens to me, I need you to promise me that you will take care of Rosalina. She's my world, she is my life now, and I will do anything for her. So would I Alex! I know that's why I need you to promise me I need to hear you say it. I promise Alex I will always be there for her, for both of you. I love you Harper! I love you too Alex.

'After Theresa gets back from the store the boys and Harper help her bring in a bunch of baby stuff. What the... Mom where did you get all of this stuff?! I bought it! Wha... no I've been saving up my money to buy stuff for her.

Alex honey keep your money, trust me! And besides it's no big deal I'm more than happy to buy stuff for my Granddaughter, wow that is really weird to say! Wow! I... I don't know what to say thanks Mom. 'Alex hugs Theresa' A while passes and everyone is having a great time, Alex is sitting over on the couch while everyone else is hanging around Rosalina in her Play-pin.

Justin and Max look over at Alex; 'Alex gestures with her hand for them to come over' Hey Alex what's going on?! I need to talk to you guys; I need you guys to promise me something. Yeah anything! Promise me that if anything ever happens to me that you both will take care of Rosalina 'Yeah, I promise Justin replies' 'I promise Max says back' come here. 'Alex hugs her brothers and goes to play with Rose' The rest of the day passes and Alex is off to bed; she puts Rose down and crashes out for the night.
