12. Chapter 12

Calli's Pov...
My eyes slowly fluttered opened to a beautiful morning sunrise. It was just barely before dawn as the sun started to peek over changing the sky into a beautiful painting of purple, orange, red, and pink with white fluffy clouds moving slowly across the sky. I smiled climbing out of bed and I slowly walked over to the window and I unlatched the hook and I pushed open the glass, smelling in the fresh scent of the pine trees surrounding the house. A few birds went quickly flying past me flying up into the canopy. I smiled and giggled and as a ray of sunlight went striking through a tree branch it beamed on a growing plant beside the window. As the sunlight hit it, the flowers that closed up during the darkness of the night began to slowly unravel their petals and began to bloom brightly like the sun.

I stroked my fingers underneath one pink flower as I smiled at it lovingly as it touched me back gently. A gentle breeze blew past me and the strength of it blew the flower of its stem and go dance in the rhythm of the breeze. The wind then blew the flower away to wherever it may go following it as it disappeared into the early morning.

I smiled watching it disappear and I pulled my head back into the house as I slowly looked over at my sleeping husband. I walked over silently towards his sleeping figure and I smiled seeing him sleeping peacefully. Leo has never looked this relaxed and peaceful. Even though back when I was still a human and I was living in the sewers for the first few weeks, when I did go into Leo's room to give him his morning tea before he does his early training before the others do with him together, he looked very tense. He looked like he was not sleeping at all, just his eyes were closed. Like he was on alert all night like as if a sneak attack or ambush would occur. Even when we became a couple and started sleeping together, he would still be tense.

But this time, it was different.

Leo looked like he was actually sleeping. I watched his strong and buff chest rise and fall with each soft breath he took. He was laying on his shell with his left arm along his side, and his right rested bended up beside his head. His green thick fingers curled in towards his palm and his head was facing away from his bent arm as it sunk into the soft pillow. His face was a study in serenity. I stroked the side of his head and cheek, rubbing my thumb against his temple softly. His head moved slightly making the ends of his bandanna tails slide over the front of his neck.

I slowly grabbed the upper part of his bandanna tails and pulled them back till they were behind his shell. I covered him up more with the blanket gently and I leaned in and smiled softly and gave his cheek a gently kiss. His head snuggled more into the pillow as his right arm laid down by his other side. I smiled and I quietly got off of the bed and walked out of the bedroom towards the kitchen, to make Leo his morning tea before he woke up. I filled up the kettle with water and started heating it up on top of the stove. I grabbed a box of tea bags with Leo's favorite tea, Green Suki, and I dropped it into the kettle and waited for the bag to release the flavor into the water. After a little while the kettle started whistling when it was at its boiling point and I took it off of the stove and I started pouring the tea into small cups on a tray. I turned off the stove and I placed the kettle on the tray and I carefully picked it up and walked back towards the bedroom, still seeing Leonardo fast asleep.

"Good morning sweetheart", I said, softly

There was no response and I looked at him with quite surprise since when Leo usually hears me he is wide awake, no matter what time of the night or morning. I walked over and I sat the tray of tea on the nightstand, then I sat down gently on the side of the bed and Leo didn't budge. I stroked his cheek softly and I gave it a gentle kiss and nuzzle, but yet Leo was still. It appeared to me that this was going to be a playing hard to get game wake up my hubby.

I carefully laid down on top of him, hoping he would not wake up just yet. My hands slid behind his head and I leaned in and nuzzled my snout against his cheek. Still nothing, no stirring, no eyelid cracking open. I pressed my lips lightly to his cheek, to his chin, to his temple. So far Leonardo was winning the match, not a single reaction. I growled a bit annoyed softly and decided that I needed to bring out the big guns. I titled my head to my let so I could plant a soft slow kiss on Leo's lips, thinking that this would work.

I pulled back softly and Leo's soft breathing remained constant. I sighed a bit frustrated that nothing was working, thinking I could never get my husband to wake up. But then I saw it, out of the corner of my eye. The corner of Leo's lips twitched ever so slightly at my sigh and I laughed softly and I lightly slapped Leo's chest. "You big faker! You are awake!", I said

Leo chuckled and he caught me around the waist rolling over me to where I was under him on the bed. I giggled as Leo's brown eyes were warm as he grinned down at me and I returned the grin. "You silly bean. How come you didn't get up the first time?", I asked

"And ruin the fun?", he asked, with his fingers playing with my braid

I giggled and smiled and Leo leaned in and softened the offense with a sweet kiss. "But I must say there Fearless, you were quite asleep. You looked like you were in a coma", I said

"I know, I'm never like that...but you want to know the reason why?", he asked

"And what would that be?", I asked, teasing while giggling "Last night's romance wear you out?"

He snickered as he shook his head at my remark. "Funny, but no", he said, chuckling "The reason why I was in such a deep sleep, it's because I was actually not having to worry about anything and that I had finally experience, what its like to not having to be a ninja full time. It's because you made me feel safe, when I'm with you I feel safe from the things that hurt me inside"

I smiled up to him adoringly. "Thank you, that really does mean a lot to me", I said

He smiled and he leaned down and gave my lips a soft kiss before pulling away and then he kissed my forehead. I then sat up in bed. "Some tea my love?", I asked, showing him the tray as I placed it on the bed

"Thank you", he said, smiling

I took the two cups and I handed him one as I leaned up against the headboard of the bed as we drank our morning tea in silence. After we finished our morning tea after having a few more cups, we both set our cups down on the tray and I placed it on Leo's nightstand.

"Well today is our last day here", I said

Leo moaned playfully as he fell back on the bed and I laughed. "Right", I said

I giggle doing the same noise he did as I fell beside him on the bed and Leo laughed. "Can't we stay here longer Calli? Its like we just got here", Leo said

I smiled and I rolled over on my side facing him as Leo looked at me. "I know baby cakes, those two weeks of our honeymoon sure went flying out the window", I said

"Can we stay here forever?", he asked, giving me an innocent look "And we never have to worry about anything again"

I giggled and I pecked his forehead. "I know sweetie, I want to stay here too forever and have the time of our lives with the fun that we did, but we have a job to do back at home, protecting New York from threats", I said

"Well so much for the fun to last", Leo said, moaning into the pillow "I have never been this relaxed every time I come home from a night of patrol"

"Oh LeoBear, I know it didn't last as long as we wanted it to, but at least we had fun while we could", I said, rubbing his shell

"That's true", he said, looking up at me

I leaned down and kissed his forehead. "How about this? When we do get back to Manhattan I'll make a day just for you", I said "I'll make sure everyone is out of the lair and I'll treat you to a day of relaxation, would you like that?"

Leo smiled and nodded. "I would like that", he said

I smiled and giggled. "Good", I said "Now I think we better get on with our day if we want to enjoy our last day of peace and quiet"

Leo chuckled. "Right, what do you want to do today?", he asked "I'm letting you decide"

I thought about it for a moment, thinking of what special surprise I had planned for Leo today. "Well I thought maybe a stroll down through the forest would be a good idea", I said

"Then that is what we shall do", Leo said, kissing my cheek

I giggled and blushed, shoving him away playfully. "Silly bean", I said, giggling "Come one the day is waiting and I got a little surprise for you"

"What is it?", Leo asked, as I got off from the bed

"I'm not telling", I said, in a sing song voice as I ran out of the bed

"Hey! Why not?!", he called out, as I heard him coming after me

"It would ruin the surprise now wouldn't it?", I asked, giggling

Leo growled in annoyance and I smirked at him placing my hands on my hips. "Oh come on now, you big hatchling, you can dish it out on me but you can't take it", I said, with a cocked eyebrow

"Hey it's my job to keep you happy", Leo said, smirking at me while walking over towards me

"Well too bad hubby, this day is going to be different whether you like it or not", I said, teasing him with a grin

"I'll get you later", Leo said, shaking his fist playfully at me

"Sure you will", I said, giggling and walking towards the door "Now come on now we are burning daylight, lets go"

Leo smiled and he quickly followed me out of the house, closing the door behind him. "Is it far from here?", Leo asked, curiously

"Oh not too far I'll let you know when we are close", I said, smiling

We then started our walk towards Leo's surprise. It was a beautiful day today outside. With Leo by my side, the way his smile made everything surrounding us both seem so alive and bright. Our walk through the forest was as quiet as the peaceful night just a few hours before. The giant trees that reached up to the clear blue sky above our heads, the leaves that were jade green swishing in the wind. There were many small birds up on the branches with long tail feathers in a variety of colors, along with a few squirrels scrambling up the trees and woodpeckers pecking away at the bark of the bark searching for food. As we walk deeper in the number of trees began to decrease and we stopped along the edge on top of smooth rocks that were almost completely buried in the soil beneath our feet. I then turned towards Leo and I took his bandanna tails and I pulled on them moving behind him, making his bandanna turn sideways, blinding Leo.

"Calli?! Why me?!", Leo asked, laughing

"Hey you do that to me and I think you need to get a taste of your own medicine", I said, patting his shoulder

"Now I can see how annoyed you get when I do this to you", he said

I laughed and I lightly slapped his arm. "Payback hurts doesn't it?", I asked

"Oh shush you", Leo said, teasingly smiling

I giggled and I gently take his hand leading him, while my fingers intertwined with his own. "Follow me Leo", I said

I lead Leo guiding him to the rest of the way leaving him to figure out where I would be leading him. But it wasn't before long until Leo got his very first clue, there was a strong rumbling sound like thunder, a cool breeze blowing in the air, and the warmth of sunshine touched my skin. I then lead Leo on top of white sand and I saw Leo had dug his feet into the sand, trying to figure out where we are. "Is this sand?", he asked

I giggled and smiled back at him. "Maybe", I said, giggling

I stopped him just in front of our spot and I slowly let go of his hand and I moved behind him and I pushed his bandanna back where it was facing forward and I saw Leo's brown eyes open and he gasped softly at the grand sight. I had planned this surprise for Leo last night, when I snuck out of the house while he was asleep and it's a gift for him for all that he has done for me for these last two weeks of our honeymoon. The rumbling sound was the sound of the crashing waves of the ocean hitting the bank of the shoreline. The water was so clear and bright that you could see through it like a diamond and the white sand we were both standing on was as soft as a touch of a feather. There was a few palm trees covering the area, that provided shade in some spots that had a few hanging coconuts dangling from the tree branches. Leo looked at me with a giant smile forming on his face as I laughed smiling. "Well what do you think?", I asked "Do you like it?"

"No", he said

I looked at him confused and I as I was about to give him a look of sadness, Leo had pulled me into his arms and hugged me tight. "I love it Callista", he said

I smiled relieved that he was just playing with me and I gave his shoulder a gentle slap playfully. "Anything for you Leo", I said, softly in his ear

"This place is beautiful", Leo said, as he looked at me

"I am glad you love it, I'm really happy that I am sharing this with you Leonardo. I think you deserve a well earned gift from me after all the things that you have done for me over the years we have been together and how you have been treating me throughout our honeymoon"

He kissed my cheek showing me his thankfulness and gratitude towards my gift. "Thank you", he said, softly

I turned my head towards the ocean and I smiled looking back at my husband. "Want to go for a swim?", I asked

He nodded smiling. "That sounds great", he said

I smiled and we walked towards the edge of the ocean with a wave crashing down where we were walking towards. Some of the water came washing up and it washed over our feet, causing us both to jump back shrieking. "Oh its colder than it was when I came out this morning", I said

"Do you think we can be able to swim in that?", Leo asked

"Well never hurts to give a try", I said

I started to go further into the water taking slow steps to let my body get used to cold temperature of the water, to adjust to how warm I was. I heard the sound of someone approaching me from behind and I looked behind me to see Leo had walked into the freezing water, looking at me with admiration as the wind blew on my mask tails of my bandanna. I held out my hand out to him with a sweet smile. He smiled taking it quickly as my fingers intertwined with his smiling at me. We both then walked into the water until our feet no longer touched the ground and now we were about to our neck's in water.

I give Leo a playful smirk and I dove underwater, swimming away from him as I looked back up seeing Leo looking around confused on where I disappeared to. It was so funny seeing him looking like that, like I did with him on our first day of our honeymoon. I saw Leo come swimming after me and Leo didn't look prepared for what he saw that was underneath the water. A beautiful coral reef, almost as a big and colorful as the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Kelp plants were growing from the ocean floor, swaying against the current of the waves. Many species of colorful fish were swimming all around Leo with their long fins like their tails. Leo then looked forward where I floated under the water looking at me and I smiled kicking my legs back swimming farther away from Leo.

Leo started swimming after me as I continued to swim away, but it wasn't long until Leo hooked his arm around my waist and he started to swim us both back up to the surface. As soon we reached the surface as my arms wrapped around his neck and I giggled seductively in Leo's ear which made him shiver against me. I felt a warm feeling inside of myself that it made my whole body heat up in the freezing water where I didn't feel cold anymore up against Leo. Leo must of felt it too because his arms wrapped around my waist. Leo moved his hands down from my waist towards my thighs and he lifted up my legs till they were on the either sides of his hips and my legs quickly reacted tightening them around his waist. What the feeling was between of us at the moment was completion. It was the complete love we had for each other and the desire that we have to be with each other.

Leo then carefully swam with me in his arms towards a rock that was in the middle of the ocean and he pressed me hard but carefully not to hurt me. Leo stared at me deeply into my dark blue eyes and I saw burning desire had ignited into his beautiful chocolate brown eyes. But then I felt my eyelids closing quickly as Leo leaned his head forward breathing hot breath on my neck, that was very seducing. Leo then moved his head up and he kissed me softly, even though it was a soft kiss it was very lustful. But then it quickly got more intense in both heat and passion.

His right hand moved slowly moved towards my hip stroking it softly, then it started making its way up me and I began to shiver badly against him. He then lightly touched my chest and I moaned lowly, as I felt his hand curve around my breast. I then felt Leo's hand move to the back of my head cupping it gently. I angled my head more to the side deepening the kiss and I felt Leo's tongue lick my bottom lip and my mouth opened slowly as his tongue slowly entered inside as I allowed him access. Our tongue were caressing each other gently as we continued on with our passionate kiss. I slid my hand on his arm, and I felt Leo's muscle flexing and I giggled as he was trying to be a showoff to me. Leo chuckled into my lips as my fingers dug into his skin and gave it a gentle massage and I felt Leo pushing more into the rock with Leo's body completely curving perfectly up against mine. I let out a whimper enjoying this moment as Leo moaned and groaned rubbing himself on me gently.

I moved my lips away from his and I began to kiss along Leo's jawline then down to his neck, placing my soft lips on his sweet spot as Leo moaned in pleasure. I then licked it softly which only made Leo growl lowly in response and I felt Leo's hand gripping around my head pushing it towards his sweet spot urging me to keep going. My hand that was on Leo's arm then moved towards his chest, stroking it gently with my palm and I felt Leo shiver badly and he let out a shaky breath. My kisses then moved towards his shoulder which made him moan loudly, then I moved back up to Leo's lips.

My tongue then licked his lips asking for permission and his mouth opened as he allowed me to enter, and my tongue reunited with his once again. Leo had let go of my head and he placed my hands on the rock behind me, to steady myself from the intensity. I kissed his lips softly but then I felt Leo move his head towards my neck and my head threw back exposing my skin to him. He started giving light kisses everywhere on my neck slowly, taking his time with me. I then felt Leo's lips on top of my throat where my sweet spot was and I felt him returning me the same treatment I did with him as he began sucking on it deeply. I moaned leaning my head back more and my arms wrapped around tightly on Leo's neck and my hands gripped the back of his head and bandanna, pulling him closer towards me. Leo then began to lick up and down my throat and I moaned uncontrollably as my head kept moving from side to side taking in the pleasure. He then gave it a gentle love bite as I let out growl of seduction. Leo then moved his lips back towards mine as he began kissing me roughly, pressing his lips hard into mine. Our lips began dancing fast with roughness and desire and my legs around his waist began squeezing Leo with so much force, not wanting to release him.

After what seemed like forever of kissing each other we gave each other one last kiss before we pulled away quickly, breathing rather heavily. The ocean sea water cooled the both of us down against our heated skin from the romance. I place my hot mouth next to Leo's ear panting, while trying to regain it from the intensified kissing as Leo moved towards the side of my head, doing the same thing I was doing. This had to be the most intensified make out session we ever had being together, even more than our first night as a married couple. As my breathing started to become normal again, I pulled my head back as I looked into Leo's eyes as he looked into mine, showing me his gentle smile and I giggled sweetly as I smiled in return.

I gave Leo a peck on the lips gently, but then I decided to show him the real surprise. I then forced myself under the water swimming away as Leo looked around for me again as I swam down towards the mouth of the rock, which actually was a cave and I saw Leo come swimming after me and I entered in the cave swimming inside as Leo followed me as I swam up to the surface. Leo then popped his head out of the surface, regaining his breath and he looked around amazed of what the surprise was. It was an underwater chasm that I had decorated last night after Leo went to sleep and on top of a smooth rock crevice was a dark blue picnic blanket that had a few soft elegant looking cushions to make it seem more comfortable. Rose petals had covered the cushions and blanket making it look more romantic and there was a few lit candles surrounding the blanket. The candle light made the natural crystal in the walls sparkle and shimmer. Also in front of the blanket was lunch that I made, it was the same bruschetta that Leo made when we went on our first date, that we both seemed to love very much, but this time I made it on garlic bread and was much bigger. There were two drinking glasses filled with strawberry smoothies. I really wanted to make this special.

"Calli, did you do that?", Leo asked, looking at me surprised

I giggled. "You like it?", I asked

Leo quickly swam over and he hugged me tightly, as I shrieked laughing as he kissed my cheek deeply. "I'm taking that as a yes, well come on then, let's eat", I said, smiling

We slowly swam towards the crevice and we crawled out of the cold water and we sat down on the blanket, settling into the cushions. I took a sip of my smoothie I made, tasting the refreshing drink go down my throat. I set my glass down and I looked over and saw Leo take a bruschetta bread piece and he took a small bite and looked over at me smiling lovingly. Leo then pats his hand on his lap to me and I lie down on the blanket with my head on his lap looking up at him. I rubbed his chest with my left hand, and I felt Leo soon relax from the warmth and he looked at peace in mind. Leo then took his hand and he stroked my forehead softly as he kissed it gently. I took a bruschetta piece and I slowly took a bite. The bruschetta tasted very fresh and natural, it was so good. I eat a few more bites as I finished the piece, I then took my phone that I had left in the chasm and I plugged it into my small stereo and I looked through my playlist of meditation and relaxation songs, and I picked the first one on my playlist. I put my phone to the set as I gently looked up at Leo pulled him around his shell towards me to where Leo curled up beside me as he laid his head on my chest above my beating heart as we both settled down for a nap, listening to the soft music.

I wasn't sure on how long Leo and I both slept, but I could tell it was for a long time, as I heard the tide sounded quieter outside of the cave. I felt soft lips kissing my cheek numerous times begging me to wake up. I opened my eyes slowly and I looked up and I saw Leo smiling down at me gently and I stroked his cheek softly with my hand. "How do you like your surprise Leo?", I asked

"Love it absolutely love it", he said "I can't believe you put this all together for me"

"Anything for my hubby", I said, giggling

He then pecked my forehead softly, chuckling. "What would do I do without you?", he said, softly

"I don't know, what would you do without me?", I asked

"Kill myself to be with you", he said

I looked at him with quite surprise. "Leo honey you shouldn't do that for me", I said "Life is too important to do that, you only live once and you should live it to the fullest and do whatever it is that you wanted to do. Don't waste it just to be with me"

"You are my life and if you were not in it with me, than its just not worth it because I want to accomplish everything that I wanted to do with you", he said, looking down at me "You are too important for me to move on without you"

I placed my hands over my heart, and even through my plastron I felt it beating faster from Leo's words. I quickly grabbed a hold of my husband by the shoulders and I pulled him into a deep passionate kiss as he chuckled kissing me back lovingly. We kissed for a few more moments till I pulled away and I placed my hands on Leo's cheeks and I nuzzled his face affectionately. "Oh Leo, you are the best husband in the world", I said

"I know I try", he said, with a smile looking cute

I giggled and smiled and I sat up and I took a hold of my phone and saw it was 8 o'clock at night. I gasped seeing the time as we only had an hour before our flight was going to depart. "Oh Leo, we better get going, we are going to miss our flight home, if we don't get back to the main island", I said

"Oh right, we totally spaced out on this!", he said, quickly getting up "Let's get everything packed and we will get back"

I quickly got up and we started to clean up our spot on the crevice and we packed it away in a basket. We left out through an opening in the cave that brought us both up on top of the rock. Leo carried me on his shell as he swam us back towards shore as I carried the basket. The waves helped us out getting there faster. As we made it to the shoreline, we quickly went running back towards the house through the forest. When we did finally make it back we then started to quickly pack all of our personal belongings in our suitcases and bags. We went through the house to do a quick check making sure we didn't forget anything as we cleaned up anything that was messed for the next guests.

After cleaning up the house, we went back towards our bedroom and we grabbed our suitcases and bags and left the bedroom. "We got 15 minutes left Leo, we better make turtle tracks", I said

"You got everything?", he asked

"Yep made sure I have everything, I checked twice", I said "What about you? Cellphone? Sunglasses? Meditation mat?

"Check, check and triple check", Leo said, smiling

"Okay good", I said, smiling "Let's head the road"

We left carrying our bags out the front door as I locked it leaving the key in the designated spot in a tree pot outside. I followed Leo as we continued on the trail that lead to the airport near the house, when we first got here. We saw a few planes were at the take off port and a few that had just flown off into the air and some had just landed. We quickly climbed over the chain linked fence and we made our way towards our plane at the far end of the port as we hid behind many various things, trying not to be spotted.

As we made it to our plane, we climbed up the landing gear as we heard the plane's engine starting. Leo helped me up inside as I pulled my bags up resting them inside as we both laid against them as we felt the plane taking off and the landing gear door shut closed. "Phew we made it", I said, panting

"And not a moment too soon", Leo said, breathing heavily

"Well we made it though, that's the good thing, now we got about nine hours of flying to go", I said, looking at the time on my phone

Leo collapsed against our bags behind us and I giggled collapsing beside him. "Well this sure has been a great peaceful and relaxing two weeks", Leo said

"Oh you are right about that sweetie", I said

"Now back to the loud city and dark sewers", Leo said

"Hey but at least its home", I said, smiling leaning beside him

"That's true", he said, agreeing smiling

"We should get some rest honey bun, we got a long way to go", I said, yawning snuggling down into my bag

"Yeah", Leo said, yawning while stretching his arms "I could use some shut eye"

I smiled as he laid down beside and I pulled him close to me as I snuggled into his shoulder as his arm wrapped around my waist. "Good night Leo", I said, softly closing my eyes

He pecked my forehead softly and he rested his head gently on top of mine as his body heat kept me and him warm. "Good night Calli", he said, softly

We both fell asleep in each others arms, listening to the soothing sounds of the plane that helped us drift off into a peaceful state of slumber. After getting a few good solid hours of sleep, I felt the plane jumping up and down a bit as I woke up. I then saw the landing gear shaft beginning to open as I shook Leo awake. "Leo wake up, we are here! We are landing!", I said, excitedly

"Oh no way! Yes we are almost home!", he said, happily

The wheel of the landing gear finally touched the ground as the plane began to slow down. It soon came to a stop as Leo and I grabbed our bags and we both waited for the right moment to slide down the gear and we started running out of the airport as we jumped the fence and behind the trees close by, panting. "I have a feeling that this going to be happening more often", I said, panting

"You got that right", Leo said

I giggled and I sat up finally regaining my breath. "Come on lets get going before someone sees us", I said

Leo and I took our bags and we started walking through Central Park towards home. We didn't have to worry about walking through the park since no one was around at the time so we enjoyed the scenery until we crossed the street towards the alley. I opened up the manhole cover and jumped down inside with Leo following me inside as he closed the manhole cover. "Sewer Sweet Sewer", I said, giggling "How I missed you so"

"Yeah I did miss it too", Leo said, chuckling

We walked down the tunnel towards the manhole cover that lead into the subway station, which we called home. It was open as we walked towards it and we peeked our heads inside hearing the lair was silent. "I don't hear anyone", I said

"Maybe they are not here", Leo said

"Either that or they are planning to surprise attack us", I said, giggling

"Okay fall in quietly", Leo said, softly

I jumped down quietly into the lair with my bags as Leo climbed down the ladder. We set our bags down and walked quietly and slowly throughout the lair making sure we didn't spot the boys hiding from us. "Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Splinter?", I said "Anyone here?"

There was no response, not even a giggle or a sound of someone breathing. "No one must be here", Leo said "Maybe they all went out for the evening"

But what we didn't know is that we were both being watched. Out of nowhere something wrapped around my ankle bringing it to where it touched Leo's with mine tightly and we both shrieked falling forward and we quickly looked up seeing Splinter laughing. "Splinter!", I said, laughing

He chuckled and Leo and I both started laughing. "That was not funny! You scared us both!", Leo said

"Lesson to learn my son and daughter, never assume that the unexpected shall happen when things don't look like they appear to be", Splinter said, chuckling

"Lesson learned sensei", I said, smirking

He chuckled and Leo and I rolled up to our feet, recovering from the surprise attack. "It is good to see the both of you home again", Splinter said, bowing with respect

"Oh its good to see you again too master", I said, as Leo and I both bowed in respect back towards him

"It has been rather different without the two of you around", he said

"Different in what way sensei?", Leo asked

"The boys have actually been more quieter and more behaved around here in the lair", Splinter said

"Well that is a miracle", Leo said, teasing

We started laughing at his joke. "Maybe we should go away more often", I said, teasing

"But they do miss you both and were waiting for the both of you to come home", Splinter said

"Oh I bet they did miss us a lot, speaking of which where are those knuckleheads anyways?", Leo asked

"Well I'm glad you ask, they are on a mission right now dealing with the Foot Clan near Central Park", Splinter said "And I am sending the both of you to aid your brothers"

"Well this certainly is a good welcome back gift", I said, giggling "I am up for some action, let's go!"

Leo and I both took off running towards the manhole cover. "Be careful my students, for Shredder could unexpectedly appear!", he called out

"Don't worry master, we will be careful!", I called out "Turtles are indestructible!"

Leo and I ran out of the tunnel, back up towards the manhole cover and we climbed up the fire escape towards the rooftop of a building next to the alley and we began roof jumping across the buildings, hoping to spot our brothers with the Foot Clan. It didn't take too long to find them as we saw a few people flying up in the air then landed back down on the rooftop. "Over there hurry!", I said

Leo and I both ran and jumped across one last building as we saw Donnie, Raph, and Mikey fighting over two dozen of Foot Soldiers on top of a high metal spire. Donnie was blocking a few attacks with his staff and he jumped over a few using his staff as a vaulter and he landed on his knees and spun around and knocked on two on their feet. Raph and Mikey were running from ninjas that was chasing that were chasing them both in the same direction towards each other and then when they looked like they were about to crash into each other, they jumped and they spun off each other feet as they flew back. The Foot Ninjas went crashing into each other as they both gave each other a high five in victory.

But out of nowhere, two ninjas had crossbows and arrows and they aimed the arrows at the boys and I gasped as Leo and I gave each other firm looks as we threw our swords towards the ninjas breaking the arrows and then we jumped down and we both at the same turned a full 360 degrees roundhouse kicking them in the heads making them fly forward with the cross bows till they landed behind Raph and Mikey. They turned and saw the unconscious ninjas behind them, then they both looked up and smiled seeing it was the both of us.

"Hey guys! What did we miss?", Leo asked

"Dude! Dudette! Most excellent timing!", Mikey called out

"It's a ninja's specialty!", I said, smiling

Leo and I jumped in and joined the action and we picked up our swords and we started to fight off the ninjas along with our brothers. Donnie whacked a few with his staff as they jumped out at him. Mikey slid down a clothesline and kicked one in the chest, causing him to tumble over many others behind him like dominoes. Raph was moving backwards avoiding a ninja's punches till he turned and caught the ninja's wrist between the yoku part of his sai and he jabbed his other as up in the forearm catching it, then he used his strength to flip him over. Raph's sai's bounced back up to him as they hit the rooftop and he caught them spinning them in his hands. Leo did a cartwheel, then he did a few back flips, then he jumped in the roundhouse kick one ninja in the head, then he turned and jumped again and front kicked another in the chest. Without even looking Leo head butted one in the face, then he spun around and used his sword to knock the ninja down in the legs.

One glared at me in particular, as he held a sword in his hand like me, and I glared back in return as we ran at each other and clashed swords. I then hit his sword slicing it with mine back and forth. He pulled away as the weak blade fell to the ground and I jumped at him and roundhouse kicked him in the face as he landed in the pile of unconscious ninjas as I landed in front of them. I spun my katana around my wrist and I sheathed it back in its hold. I then turned towards my family and saw my brothers come rushing towards me. "Sissy!", Mikey said, happily tackling me with a huge hug

"Hey! Give me a hug!", I said, happily as he spun me around

He set me down as Donnie and I gave each other a high five. "Nice use of the katana there sis!", he said

"Thanks! I have been wanting to try that move for quite some time! I tried doing it to Leo, but no luck", I said, giggling

Raph then came up to me and he locked my head in his arm and gave me a boogie as I giggled pushing him away. "Raph! Come on bro!", I said, laughing

He then released me laughing himself. "Hey when did you both get in?", he asked

"Just now", I said, laughing "Even though we just came back from a well deserved vacation, we never miss a butt whopping with the Foot"

"Hey thanks for the save back there!", he said "We would of been turtle sushi!"

"Nothing like getting back into the same routine again", I said, smiling "I did rather miss kicking some Foot Ninja's butts"

We all started laughing, but then I noticed Leo's face turned into worry as he looked around as if he just heard something and his brown eyes widen as he looked in a certain direction and then he looked back towards me with fear.

"Calli! Get down!", Leo said, pushing towards the edge of the rooftop

"Why? Leo what's wrong?", I asked, as I got over the edge

I climbed down a bit on the fire escape ladder of the building. "Shredder is about to approach! I can feel it! You stay here and keep hidden!", Leo said, softly "Don't leave this spot!"

I nodded agreeing to him and he kissed my forehead softly and ran off. I looked over the edge where my eyes could barely see the action and I gasped seeing the Shredder in front of my family with their weapons drawn. I shivered badly as I saw the Shredder stepped forward and Leo stepped forward blocking me of Shredder's view. "I see you are lacking one excuse of a kunoichi", Shredder said

Those words seem to make Leo explode, and I saw a look of pure anger spread across his face as his grip on his sword tightened. "You don't dare talk about my wife like that!", he said, angrily

"Oh ho, she is a married girl to a hideous freak", Shredder said, with a laugh "How fitting, she can't even face her true destiny while her husband defends her as she cowardly stands by"

"Hey! That's our sister you are talking about!", Raph said, stepping forward

"Yeah! She doesn't deserve this! This isn't her true destiny! To die facing you of a monster!", Mikey said, glaring

"You took away everything that she held dear to her! And we are not going to allow you to take someone that is dear to us! You won't get anywhere near her, we will protect her at all costs! Even if it means losing our own lives!", Donnie said, standing firmly

"Well...then it is how it's going to be then", Shredder said

"That is how it must be!", Leo said, standing in a fighting stance

Shredder than unsheathed his sharp talons as he face my family. No one made a move as they watched each other just waiting for something to happen, like a silent showdown. Donnie then made the first move as he tried to jump out at him and spin around and hit him with his staff, but Shredder had punched him in the chest sending him skidding across the rooftop. I gasped softly and then Raph and Mikey attempted a double attack, when Raph flipped over the Shredder, but the Shredder was quick to notice as Raph tried stabbing at him with his sai's while Shredder kept blocking his attacks with his talons. Raph tried to stab him with both sai's but Shredder caught them in his talons, and he tried to pull away, he lost his grips on his sai's and Shredder side kicked him in the chest as he crashed into an air conditioner vent. Mikey threw a manriki gusari chain at Shredder and it wrapped around his one his talons and Mikey tried to tug him forward towards him, but his strength was no match for Shredder's and he easily pulled Mikey as he went flying and landing rolling on the rooftop, as he threw a few surprise ninja stars. But Shredder was quick to block them all. But then Leo came rushing towards him with his sword in his grasp and Shredder quickly attacked back. What caught me off guard is that that the sharp talons had detached from him and went flying towards him, like a knife throwing show. I had never seen him do this before and it completely shocked me. I gasped covering my mouth thinking that the worse was about to happen but Leo being the skilled ninja he was able to glide right past them as they hit the spire cutting into the supports, as he continued to charge him as the talons were quickly retracted back to Shredder like a magnet. Leo held on for the longest with attacking and so far it looked like Leo was gaining the upper hand when he kept slicing his sword at him, slicing at his armor. But then out of nowhere Shredder kicked Leo in the lower shell which caused him to spin in the air and land on his chest. "You are pathetic excuse of a student! The rat didn't teach you well", Shredder said, angrily

"Baby!", I said, softly

Leo tried to get up to his knees but then Shredder kicked him in the face, making him now fall on his shell, and Shredder stepped down on his chest, making a cracking sound. Which I knew it was Leo's shell that sounded like it was starting break like a nutshell.

"Where is the girl?!", he asked, looking down at Leo

"You won't hurt her! I'm not telling you where she is! You will have to kill me to get to her!", Leo said, angrily as he groaned in pain from him stepping on him harder

"Well then that is how it shall be!", Shredder said

He unsheathed his razor sharp talons from his wrists and Leo didn't even flinch even though he was facing death in the face. "Go ahead and kill me", Leo said "It will be to protect the one I love!"

"You have been the one keeping me from destroying my enemy and now your fate will be hers!", he said, with an evil glare

As I saw Shredder's talons were right at Leo's throat, I gasped as I saw him raise his talons getting ready to strike at him and my family started screaming. I glared at him, and I quickly jumped over the rooftop and ran out from my hiding spot and I stood boldly in front of my enemy.

"Shredder!", I screamed

He quickly turned towards me as he stopped his strike towards Leo just barely in time. My family looked at me with loud gasps that I actually even came out and Leo looked at me with a mixture of horror and shock. I stood out in the open with my katana in my grasp. "If you want to kill me so badly, come at me then! I'm not running away this time! This ends now!", I yelled

"Little girl", he said

"Calli! NO!", Leo screamed

The Shredder came out at me and jumped in front of me, causing an earthquake from the heaviness of his metal armor, but I stood firm I wasn't afraid. Not anymore. "You will perish!", he said

But before I could even make a move I gasped as the spire began to fall underneath my feet. The Shredder charged at me as I was distracted taking the advantage to take action. I screamed as he tackled me, sending us both over the edge. I screamed more as I fell hitting on to the spire, forcing my grip on my katana to be released as it fell to the top of the building roof below. "No!", I yelled, trying to reach for it

I grabbed on one of the dishes of the metal scaffolding as the tip of the spire crashed into a building below. "HELP!", I screamed "LEO!"

I saw my husband came rushing over towards the edge of the building and I looked up and they looked at me horrified seeing my situation. "CALLI!", Leo screamed

"HELP! SOMEONE HELP! PLEASE!", I yelled

I felt the metal started to crash down as I dropped a few feet lower than where I was. I screamed more as my grip was starting to slip. "Now I have you!", Shredder said

I turned behind me and saw Shredder was barely a few feet away from where I was. I gasped as he came swinging over towards me. I growled and I rose myself up to get a better grip and I released one hand as Shredder attacked me with his fist. I blocked it and I kicked him in the chest as I swung back and forth. He and I kept attacking each other and blocking each other's moves as were both hanging on a limb. "No freak can defeat me! You are nothing but the filth beneath my foot! Now you shall face your doom!", he said

I saw Shredder unsheathed his talons from his wrists and he sliced at the dish I was holding onto. My grip released as I barely avoided the blade and I screamed as I started loosing my grip. "Callista!", Leo yelled

"Leonardo!", I yelled

I looked up and I saw my family flip down on to the metal structure. I looked back and I saw Shredder slice through the dish and my grip slipped and I began to fall through the sky screaming. "No! Callista!", Leo screamed

He jumped off from the scaffolding, with our brothers in pursuit. Leo came racing towards me as I continued to fall. "Callista grab on!", Leo yelled

I reached my hand up as hard as I could as Leo was able to reach and grab my right hand. Raph grabbed Leo's foot and Donnie's hand and Donnie grabbed Mikey's foot and Mikey got on to holding on to the metal. We stopped falling as I was now swinging in the air gripping on to Leo's hand for dear life. I screamed as I went into a circle as I looked up at Leo horrified and Leo grabbed onto my hand with both of his and I reached up as he grabbed my other hand. "I got you baby, I'm not going to let you fall", he said

I was breathing so fast, my heart was racing at a million miles a minute. I looked back at Shredder and saw he had a sharp blades and he threw it at us. It went screaming up towards Mikey, but he was able to deflect it with his nunchuck and it ricochet back and struck him in the shoulder and his one hand released on the metal. I then look up at Leo with an idea. "Leo swing me towards him!", I said

He looked at me like I was crazy. "But Calli?!", Leo said

"Just do it!", I said "I know what I'm doing!"

He then nodded and looked back up at the boys. "We are swinging forward!", he yelled

Leo searched my eyes for a moment before grunting swinging my weight in his hands as he began to move his arms. I gasped as I saw the Shredder pull out the blade from his shoulder. "Donatello!", I yelled

Donnie heard my call and he threw his staff jamming it into the opposite shoulder of Shredder. Leo continued to swing me towards Shredder and I used my own body weight I finished the swing as I came rushing towards him. "Cowabunga!", I yelled

I slammed my feet towards his shoulders making him lose his grip and started falling to the building's rooftop below, many feet down causing a huge cloud of dust to form around him. I smiled happily as I looked up at Leo who looked at me proudly. "That's my girl", he said, softly

I smiled and laughed happily. "We did it!", I said "We did it guys! Oh my god!"

"We did it!", Leo said "But I don't think this is very safe at the moment"

"Right", I said, looking around "Certainly not the best thing to look down towards"

"Climb up me, I'll get you up there safely", he said

"Okay, I'll try", I said

I grunted as I began to climb up Leo's strong arm. Leo pulled me up to his chest as he stabilized himself against the metal. "Oh my god Leo!", I said

We both hugged each other the tightest we ever have done to each other. "We did it Leonardo! Shredder is finally defeated!", I said

Before Leo could say anything, we heard the spire began to creak, then it started to fall. I shrieked as Leo shifted keeping me between his chest and the spire. We all screamed as we began to fall to our deaths. "Leo what do we do?!", I said

Leo didn't respond to my question. Instead he looked down at my hand and he gently grabbed it and entangled his fingers in with my own. I looked at him silently as he looked up to me, probably thinking the same thing I was. That this is the end. Mikey was shaking badly as we got closer and closer towards the ground to face our doom. Donnie noticed this and he hugged him close, in a brotherly way to comfort him of what was about to happen. He held on to him tightly and Leo looked over at Raph, who actually was looking scared. Even though Raph was our muscle of the team and seldom showed any fear in any situation, this time he looked terrified. He looked at Leo and he offered him his hand and he gradually took it in a brotherly manner. They gave each other apologetic looks and Raph turned towards Donnie and Mikey and offered his hand to them and Mikey took his into his own and Donnie grabbed on to Mikey's hand. Leo then looked back at me as I looked at him with fear and sadness, he then leaned in and kissed me gently comforting me in the time of being. I kissed him back as I hugged him to me tighter keeping his grip of his hand tightly into my own

I let a silent tear fall from my eye and Leo pulled me close. I hugged around him tightly pressing my head in between his neck and shoulder. Cherishing these last few moments of being in my husband's arms and my final moments on Earth with my family. "I love you guys", I said, silently "I'm so sorry"

But suddenly everything then just stopped. I looked up from Leo's arm around me and saw dust settling and I coughed fanning some of it away. "Are we dead?", Mikey asked

The dust began to clear up as we looked to see the spire had caught on between the rooftop of the building where Shredder had landed and part of the building where the spire had fallen off of from. "We made it!", I said, laughing happily "You guys we made it!"

We all then started laughing happily and relieved that we actually survived the fatal fall. "Alright!", Raph cheered

"We did it!", Donnie cheered

"We defied the odds!", Mikey cheered "Nothing can take a turtle down!"

"We finally won! We did it! Its now over!", Leo said, happily

I smiled happily that we had won the intense and near death battle and that Shredder was finally defeated. Each of us began to climb out and jump out of the spire, through the dust cloud and I was the last one to jump out, shaking my head from the dust, catching my breath.

"Well that certainly was too close for comfort", I said, straightening out my bandanna before dusting myself off "We were very lucky we were spared on this one"

"Calls, I think you might need this", Raph said, showing me my katana

I smiled and he tossed it to me and I caught the handle and spun it around my wrist, before gripping it in my grasp. "Thanks bro", I said, smiling

"I have said it before, and I'll say it again", Mikey said

"Man I love being a turtle!", we all said

"Too bad the Shredder couldn't say the same thing", Raph said

"Yeah he really fell flat out on this one!", Mikey said, laughing

"Look!", Donnie said, pointing

We turned towards the Shredder and we saw and arm being rose up in the air and he turned himself over on his knees and wobbly got himself to stand up.

"What?!", Leo said, shocked

"It can't be!", Mikey said

"Nobody could of survived that!", Raph said

The Shredder miraculously got to his feet and he unsheathed his talons once more at us. This time I didn't show fear to the blades. Even though they were the ones to kill my family and sensei, that fear and horror didn't reflect back towards me. "You think you can defeat me? A master of the ninja arts? I will not be defeated by mutant freaks of nature!", he said, looking at us evilly

I growled and I stepped forward with my fists clenched tightly. I gritted my teeth in anger as I stared at him in the eye. "No one..calls my family...freaks!", I said, growling in anger

He yelled and he came running at me and I ran yelling at him and as he was about to swing his talons at me I heard my family screaming for me, but I swung my katana, slicing at the talons breaking the blades, till they fell to the ground and I jumped and screamed roundhouse kicking Shredder in the chest, sending him scraping along the rooftop. His helmet bounced off of his head and landed just above his head as I came walking over and I placed my foot on his chest, to keep him down as he tried to get up.

I saw Shredder looking up at me fear as I glared down at him coldly. "You may have defeated and killed my sensei, you may have destroyed my family and my home of its future, you may have scarred my heart and soul for life, but you...you can't defeat a warrior with true spirit and pride. Now Oroku Saki, you will now pay for your hatred and murderous crimes and your punishment will yet be fulfilled and you will die...with no mercy or honor", I said, softly

I rose my katana above my head and I screamed as the blade of my katana sliced down at his head, causing a huge white bright light exploded blinding me. I rose my arm to protect myself and I heard my family screaming blocking the light. As the light faded away slowly, all that remained were the Shredder's armor and helmet that laid lifeless on the ground.

I felt my hands suddenly become shaky as they struggled to grip my katana in my hands. I couldn't believe of what just happened. I just killed the murderer of my family and my sensei. He was gone. Gone forever, never to return again. Faded like a candlelight in the mist. I suddenly felt my vision starting to blur and my body became very weak. I was starting to fall forward as I placed my hand trying to see and focus, but my grip on my katana fell out of my hand and my body gave out and fell to the ground, losing conscious.

Leo's Pov...
As the light began to fade, I rubbed my eyes to regain my vision and I looked to see the clear and quiet night as it was before. I looked around a bit at my surroundings, but then I gasped in horror seeing my wife Calli, on the ground not moving.

"Calli! Calli!", I yelled, running towards her

I knelt down towards her and I quickly turned her over seeing her not moving. "Calli! Callista! Callista wake up! Don't you dare give up on me, don't-", I said, unable to finish my sentence looking down at Calli's lifeless body

Calli laid motionless. It was too late. I lost her. She was gone, gone forever. I looked at her with deep fear, nearly losing my breath as I looked at her, laying in my arms silently. I heard the sound of my brothers footsteps approaching me from behind as I hugged Calli towards me. "Leo", Raph said, softly, putting a hand on my shoulder

My only response was hugging Calli closer towards me and my head rubbed up against her soft and still warm cheek deeply. My head then rested against the side of her head and then that's when the tears started to flow down my face without control. "You can't leave us Calli, you can't, we need you. I need you. I love you", I said, softly into her neck

I held Calli for a long period of time, I couldn't even know how long I did, but all I know it was a very long time. I gave my wife one last squeeze letting her rest in peace as my grip around her started to loosen. I looked at Calli one last time and I leaned in and gave her soft lips a gentle kiss, a kiss that meant I will miss you very much. I slowly pulled away as a few tears fell on her face, then down her cheeks. I looked away as I couldn't even look at Calli anymore as I failed to keep my promise to her, to love and protect her from anything. I have failed her. I failed as a husband, a guardian, and a leader. But as the negative thoughts were racing through my mind of what has now happen, I heard a small grunt and then a moan and I quickly looked down. Calli's dark blue eyes slowly fluttered open as she looked up towards me and my brothers had gasped in shock and surprise, seeing Calli was alive. I let out a heavy sigh of relief and a huge smile came to my face. "I'm here", I said, softly

I moved closer towards her face and she smiled weakly as I hugged her close and she hugged back softly. "I'm here", I said, softly again

We nuzzled each others faces with affection and then I kissed her forehead softly. "Don't scare me like that Calli, I thought you were gone", I said, pressing my forehead against hers

"Sorry Leo, wasn't my intention and you know me I don't go down without a fight", she said, softly

I chuckled and smiled relieved. "Leo, you are okay", she said, softly stroking my cheek

She then looked over and looked at our brothers. "Boys, you are okay", she said, softly looking at them

They smiled relieved seeing Calli was awake and then she looked back towards me. "Yeah Calli, I'm okay, our brothers are okay, you are okay", I said, softly "We are all okay"

"What about the Shredder?", she asked "Where is he?"

I smiled happily. "Shredder is gone Calli", I said "He is deceased, he won't ever return to hurt you or anyone ever again"

"Never again?", she asked

"Never again", I said "You defeated him Callista, you have brought justice and peace to the city and to yourself"

Calli's Pov...
I let out a sigh of pure happiness and relieve and I smiled weakly hearing those words coming out of Leo's mouth, that the Shredder was finally vanquished and would never return and threaten my family and I again. It was like a huge weight that was lifted off of my shoulders and now I was finally free. Freed from the fear of Shredder getting his revenge on me and him destroying my heroes that we were my family.

"Lets go, we better get moving before the fire department and police find us", Leo said

They nodded in agreement and they threw the spire down, making it crash to the street below. A huge dust cloud had blown up in the air and the boys jumped over the building heading towards the manhole cover in the street below.

"Rest now, promise me that", Leo said, looking down at me softly

I smiled weakly and my head laid against his shoulder and my eyes quickly closed as I fell asleep. Leo had carried me in his arms on the journey back home to the lair. By the time I had woken up I was on the couch in the living room, I had a few bandages on my forearms, probably from the battle. I was covered with a blanket and I let out a sigh of relief that I was finally back home in my sewer. "Well look who decided to wake up", someone said, softly

I looked over and I saw my husband Leo sitting on the coffee table across from me. It looked like he was watching over me the whole time as he smiled down at me. "Hey Leo", I said, weakly

He got down on his knees and he gave me a gentle peck on the lips. I smiled as I looked up to him. "How long have I been out?", I asked

"For a few hours Calli, you were really exhausted", Leo said

"I guess Shredder really gave me quite the going over", I said

"But Calli I told you to stay put, why did you disobey me?", Leo asked, a bit upset

I sighed and looked at him sadly. "I'm sorry Leonardo", I said "I just couldn't let him kill you all and have me sit on the sidelines watching the whole thing unfold. If I had lost anyone of you, I wouldn't know what I would do. You are all that I have left in my life. That's why I came. I wasn't going to let Shredder take more away from me and I couldn't stop him. I wasn't going to witness your deaths like I did with my parents when I was just a little girl, I didn't want that memory to ever repeat itself. Even if it meant losing my own life in the process, I wasn't going to let him take away what was the most important to me, you, our brothers, and our sensei and to protect the last things that I had"

"But I wouldn't have let you gotten yourself killed", Leo said, softly "You don't deserve it"

"It would be for to make sure my love and my family would be safe and knowing that they will be alright", I said

Leo looked at me with a warm smile. "You really are something Callista, you are not like any other ninja or kunoichi I have ever heard of", he said

I smiled up to him adoringly and I hugged him close as he hugged me back tightly. My head snuggled in between his cheek and shoulder as I smiled with content. Leo then slowly pulled away and kissed my forehead softly. "Everyone is waiting for you with sensei in the dojo, he wants to have a talk with us all", Leo said

"Is it anything serious?", I asked, sitting up

"No, we are not in trouble, he just wants to talk to us about what happened at the battle", he said

"Okay then, we should probably head on over there", I said

Leo helped me sit up and I wrapped the blanket that was covering me around myself as Leo and I walked side by side towards the dojo. Leo slid the doors and our brothers were kneeling on the floor and they turned towards us when we came in with Splinter sitting in lotus position in the darkness with only a few candles lit in the dojo for light. "Hey guys", I said, walking in slowly

"Hey about time you woke up sleeping beauty", Raph said, teasing me

"Oh haha, very funny Raphie Boy", I said, rolling my eyes playfully

Leo slid the doors closed as we walked inside, making the dojo fall into darkness again. I walked toward my family with Leo trailing behind me. Leo knelt down beside Raph as I knelt down on the floor between Mikey and Donnie and Mikey gave me a one arm hug. I smiled and giggled as he smiled down at me accepting his brotherly hug. "Glad you are okay sissy", he said

"Thanks bro", I said, smiling

He then released me and Donnie rubbed my thigh. "How are you feeling Calls?", he asked

"Oh I'm doing okay, just literally drained of energy right now and my forearms hurt a bit from trying to hang on from falling to my death, but other than that I'm okay", I said

Donnie moved part of the blanket away from my arms and checked out my bandages were around my forearms. "Probably going to have check on those again in the next few days make sure no infection is spreading", he said

"That would be great", I said

We then faced Splinter. "Leonardo said that you wanted to talk with us master?", I said

"Yes", he said "I heard from my sons about what happened at the battle facing the Shredder. They told me of your brave and heroic daring move of facing the man who has been the enemy the day I had been forced to leave my home in Japan and come here to put my life back together in New York. How you saved Leonardo from certain doom and how you had vanquished the Shredder, making our home and our city the safe haven as it was once before"

"Yes sensei, its true", I said "Shredder is now no more. Our enemy that has caused us so much grief, pain and sorrow all these years of living. We haven't been able to get justice against him, until this very night. He has alluded us many times I know he has, but this time pride and strength was on our side, and he was no match for the dedication and bravery we had towards this battle. It wasn't just pride and strength that helped us defeat the Shredder it was our love that we had for each other and for the battle itself. That was the one thing that Shredder has never have, love in his heart. It's not only the strength and skill, it's your love that you have the art of Ninjutsu and that's the reason why we had won tonight. I am delighted we are together here tonight, because this night is what means most to me. We laughed, we cried, we fought and we made up...but miraculously made it through these many years of living in fear in darkness. But now we can look forward to a brighter future. I am glad I met a family like you, a family that not only loves each other for the differences that they had but for how much they care about one another, even if they don't agree all the time or not at all, they still stood as one whole individual. I am glad we all stuck to each other through the good and the bad times we have had. I'm proud we made through all those fights. I am glad we stayed by each others sides during the worst times. I just hope and pray that this will continue on for the many years to come and our bonds will get stronger and stronger. I love you all greatly and I cherish us being together tonight. There is not one person nor family or anyone in the world that I would want to have, because this family right here is an inspirational one"

I got silent smiles from everyone surrounding me from my speech. My sensei in particular, had looked at me proudly, like I had accomplished a new lesson in training.

"A great revolution in just one single individual will help achieve a change in the destiny of a society and, further, will enable a change in the destiny of human kind. And you all have made this step in changing the lives of millions who inhabit this city and have secured our safety of our clan and our sacred home. We have faced failure before, but failure was the key to success. It taught us a valuable lesson and we used our knowledge from our mistakes to use for future similar problems. This was no easy walk for anyone of us anywhere, and we all have been through the shadow of death again and again before we had reached the mountaintop of our goal. All you needed, was to discover your true power lies in believing in one another and with that you have accomplished. You all are truly exceptional students and I'm proud to be your equal"

"Don't you mean sensei Splinter?", Leo asked

"Sensei means leader or guide Leonardo, but you no longer need a guide", Splinter said "Like the lion you have no superior in the jungle of life and I'm proud to say you all are true ninjas, and I'm proud of you Callista for getting justice for your family, your sensei Yani Shen would surely be proud of his student"

Those last words really touched my heart thinking about what would Yani and my parents would be thinking right about now about the final battle with Shredder. "Thank you...master", I said

I bowed my head in respect with my husband and my brothers following me slowly to our teacher, our master, but most of all our father.

"The danger has now passed over and now my children you may rest", Splinter said, smiling softly

We bowed respectfully towards our sensei as my family had left the dojo with smiles on their faces. I smiled seeing my family looking so happy and alive that finally we can get started on with our own lives of living the dreams that we were looking forward to all these years. I saw my sensei starting to leave towards his bedroom for the night and I slowly stood up. "Splinter", I said

He stopped and he turned towards me. "Thank you, for everything", I said, smiling softly

He smiled towards me and bowed his head, and he then slowly turned away and he retreated into his room for the evening. I smiled happily and I pulled the blanket around me closer around my body and I yawned tiredly as Leo came walking over and he carefully picked me up in his arms as I snuggled towards him. Leo carried us towards our bedroom and he had kicked the door closed as he laid me down on the soft bed of ours. I sighed with relief as the softness of the bed relaxed away the tension that was within my body. Leo carefully climbed over me and I smiled up to him as he kissed me softly. I kissed him lovingly back as my arms wrapped around his neck. He chuckled and he laid carefully down on top of me as my legs reacted quickly wrapping around his waist tightly. Leo's warm hand slid underneath my shell as we continued to kiss each other passionately. But after only a few minutes of our make out session, Leo pulled away from my lips gently and I looked up to him with my dark blue eyes as he gave me a bit of a nervous look. I was a bit confused why he was giving me such a look, since there really was nothing to worry about and I wanted to know what was wrong.

"Calli?", Leo asked

"Yes?", I said, sitting up in bed

"Can I ask you something?", he asked

"Of course honey", I said, smiling "Anything"

"Well I don't if it's too early too ask but I was wondering", he said

He paused looking away as if he was unsure if he should finished what he was saying. I scooted closer to him and I placed my hand on his shoulder and the other on his left hand. "What is it?", I asked "It's okay, just tell me"

"I was wondering Calli, if maybe...you and I would...try", he said

"Try for a baby?", I asked, finishing his sentence

He looked at me surprised. "How did you know that?", he asked

I giggled. "Well it is the specialty of a kunoichi", I said, smiling

"Well yes I was just wondering if you maybe did want to start a family, but if its too early, then I understand your wishes if you don't want to at all and I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable with this and-", he said

But I interrupted him by kissing his lips deeply and he flinched back a bit surprised, but he came around and kissed me back. After a few moments I pulled away from him and I smiled at him happily. "Leo of course I do", I said

"Wait you agree with this?", he asked, surprised

"Yes I do", I said, happily "I wouldn't have interrupted you with that kiss if I didn't"

"Oh...well okay", he said, blushing red in his cheeks

I giggled and I gave his snout a gentle peck. "Leo I'm not uncomfortable with you asking me that, I wouldn't mind answering any questions you might have for me", I said

Leo still blushed red as I hugged him around his neck. "It's okay baby there is nothing to be embarrassed about", I said, stroking his cheek

Leo chuckled and smiled and we gave each other a peck on the lips. "Well I'm glad I didn't get the reaction I thought I would get", he said "You being unsure and uncomfortable with this"

"Oh honey don't doubt yourself", I said "You know what they say negative thoughts bring negative results"

"Very true", he said, nodding

I giggled. "But I'm curious about something", I said

"About what?", he asked, curiously

"What made you decide that you wanted to have a family with me?", I asked

"Well when I became leader of the clan", he said, leaning back against the headboard "I thought about my future. I thought about all the things that I wanted to do, now that I was given this responsibility"

I leaned back against the headboard looking at Leo as he talked with curiosity. "When I did all those things of accomplishing as a ninja and a leader, learning life lessons, doing dangerous missions, mastering my Ninjitsu skills and finally becoming a true ninja I thought I should look forward to what I wanted to do next. I thought of finding someone nice and maybe settling down, live life for awhile, like actually not like doing missions and patrol so much and just enjoy what I accomplished", he said

"I guess you really did have your life planned out didn't you?", I asked, smiling

"Yeah", he said, smiling at me "But now since I have you and we are now married, I just thought about accomplishing this dream of mine that I want to share with you. Having a child together that we could teach the ways of the ninja and have him or her be the next leader for the next generation of the Hamato Clan. Keep our traditions and teachings going strong and know that New York will continue being protected by our clan"

"That's what I thought about too", I said, agreeing with him "And also along with making a new accomplishment together. Its always been a dream of mine to be a mother, all my life. My father Yani knew I would be one, one day. He knew that I would have children with someone that I truly care about and my children would have great potential and pride in themselves. Not only is it a new responsibility, but it's the biggest challenge anyone can face in life. It allows us to love life, helps us grow as individuals and it teaches us the true meaning of sacrifice"

"That's very true, you are right", Leo said, wrapping his arm around me

I smiled and I turned towards him and I stroked his cheek. "Oh Leo honey, all you had to do was ask me", I said, smiling "And to be truthful, I was thinking about it too. I thought of asking you too, but I wasn't sure if you wanted to"

"Well I guess we both wanted to get this off our chests", he said

I giggled and smiled and I gave Leo a playful shove. "Funny you", I said, giggling "But my answer is yes that I would love to start a family with you"

"Really? Do you really want to?", he asked

I nodded and smiled. "Don't have to ask me twice", I said, smiling "So do you really want to do this? I mean this will be an important milestone in our lives if we are both willing to commit to it"

"I am, I am willing to commit to it", Leo said "This is something that I want to accomplish with you"

I smiled. "Well then, I am willing to commit to it as well", I said "I'm ready for this"

"Well you know, since Shredder is now gone and the Foot Clan no longer exists and we don't have to worry so much anymore, do you want to maybe try now?", he asked

I smiled lovingly. "Of course", I said

He smiled happily and I leaned up to him and I pulled him towards me and I kissed him deeply with passion. Leo kissed back immediately and he slowly climbed over me and laid down on top of my body. I pulled him down towards me gripping his strong and broad shoulders. Leo growled softly and licked along my jawline and I let out a low moan of content. He moved over and kissed me again deeply but I slowly pulled away. Leo looked at me confused until I smiled reaching over and turning off the lamp lit on the nightstand making the room go completely dark. Leo chuckled and I giggled as I pulled him into another passionate kiss.

I tugged on his shoulders bringing him closer towards me as I pressed my lips hard against Leo's. I felt Leo's lips smirk against mine and I felt his warm hands began to rub my hips in circular motion and I moaned deeply as my hips began rolling along to his rhythm. I felt his tongue licking my lips and I immediately allow him access inside of my mouth as his tongue speared inside entangling my tongue with his own. I moaned deeply and I began to shiver excitedly against his body and Leo chuckled softly knowing how excited I was for what was happening. I rubbed Leo's chest deeply with my hands and Leo moaned softly as his tongue moved faster around in my mouth and then he slowly pulled away leaving a strain of saliva parting our lips.

He then kissed towards my neck, nibbling on my flesh. I moaned softly lifting my head for him to have better access as he sucked on my throat hard. I stroked his shell with care and affection while my other hand played with the mask tails of his bandanna. I felt Leo's hand slid underneath my neck lifting it up towards his face as he gave love bites with his teeth gently. I then felt his hands stroke around my sides till they got up to the sides of my chest. I then felt Leo kissing along my collarbone licking it along with care and then he began kissing my chest ever so gently.

I moaned deeply resting my arms above my head gripping the bed frame above my head tightly. I arched it up to him willingly taking in the pleasure and Leo chuckled softly hearing my moans and he kissed it all over gently not missing one spot. I then felt Leo move back up towards my face as I regained my breath shivering badly as he kissed my forehead.

My eyes slowly fluttered open as I saw Leo's eyes looking down at me with care and love. "You like this?", he asked, softly

I nodded softly and I reached up and untied Leo's bandanna around his head, sliding it off. I took it my own hands and I tied up my wrists with it, showing Leo I was a taken love. Leo chuckled and smirked shaking his head at me from being seductive. He then took my bounded hands and pinned them above my head as he kissed me deeply. I moaned and groaned as our lips danced seductively and quickly against each others and I felt one of Leo's hand stroking my waist and hips, feeling me.

I shivered badly and I bit my lower lip trying to move or say anything. I then felt his hand move up and he began rubbing my plastron and hip in a caring way. I moaned softly and my back arched up towards his hand, sighing with pleasure. Leo chuckled giving my snout a gentle peck as he released my hands and I felt both of his hands go down towards my sides, giving a few teasing tickles. I giggled shaking underneath his hands and I heard Leo chuckle darkly as this was probably pleasuring for him.

I then felt his face breathing against my plastron softly, warm air kept touching me and I shivered deeply on what he was going to do. I then felt Leo's tongue began to lick slowly at my plastron and I moaned deeply groaning while arching my back up more. Leo kissed along every inch of plastron while giving a few licks which only made waves of pleasure rush over me as I breathed shakily. Leo chuckled against my plastron making him tickle me and I giggled shaking uncontrollably.

Leo then stopped giving me time to recover as he came back up towards my face as he squeezed my thighs. I squeaked jumping up a bit making my legs wrap around Leo's waist. "Leo!", I said, giggling

"Got you", he said, chuckling

I playfully slapped his shoulder and he slid his hands underneath my head pulling me up to his face and he kissed me deeply once more. My arms wrapped around his neck tightly. He then pulled away from my lips and began pecking all over my face, I blushed and giggled as I felt Leo smile against my skin while nuzzling my face as I stroked the back of his head affectionately. Leo then pecked my lips once again and then we both looked into each others eyes happily. "Are you ready?", he asked "You ready to start a new chapter in our lives, starting a family together?"

I smiled and nodded. "I am Leo, I am ready", I said "I'm ready to start this new chapter with you"

He smiled and pecked my snout and he moved himself in between my legs and I hugged him to me as he hugged me around my shoulders and we gave each other an affectionate kiss before I let him take me. About a few hours later, Leo and I were both panting softly as Leo was still on top of me from all that has happened as my heart began to settle from the speed and intensity. "You think we did it?", Leo asked, softly into my neck kissing it gently

I giggled and I rubbed the back of his head gently. "Well we will just have to wait and see", I said

He looked back down at me looking at me with content and happiness, like he always does when we are alone together whether it be cuddling or being intimate, which I was happy to see that look on his face all the time.

"I just hope we made it possible", Leo said, stroking my cheek

"I hope we did too, I guess we will find out very soon", I said, rubbing his shoulder gently

"I love you Calli...I'll never stop saying that", he said, softly "I know there will be someone in there soon"

He began rubbing my flat plastron and I smiled on how affectionate Leo's action and words were. I giggled as Leo's pecked my lips softly and I kissed back softly as my eyes fluttered slowly closed. "I know there will be someone in there", he whispered

He continued rubbing my plastron in a circular motion as I moaned softly, laying my head on top of my pillow falling into a deep sleep. I felt Leo's gentle lips kiss my forehead softly as he moved off of me, then he pulled me close towards his warm body. I smiled lightly in my sleep, but then I felt Leo's head move away for a moment till I felt his face up against my plastron and he gave it a gentle kiss. I giggled a little as I looked down at him and he looked up at me. "Just for good luck", he said

I giggled and smiled and I kissed his head. "Cute", I said

He chuckled and he laid his head on the pillow and I snuggled against him this time in between his neck and shoulder. I yawned softly and I fell back into a deep sleep. I smiled in my sleep happily that many of my dreams had come true. I was married to the turtle of my dreams and I could possibly be carrying our baby inside of me. Ever since I met my strong, heroic, and gentle Leonardo I felt everything that I wanted to do in life exactly how I wanted it to be, actually happening. Well surely I am no longer human I am married to a mutant and possibly carrying a baby mutant turtle, but I'm happy for what I have even if it doesn't look normal. I imagined what it would be like if we did actually have children and how our family would change. I could see Leo being the best dad ever. Him playing and wrestling with our kids and teaching them the ways of the ninja, how he will pass his knowledge Splinter gave him on to them and become the best they can be. But most importantly was Leo's gentle and loving heart, that he will pass on his unconditional love towards our child.

I rested my hand on my plastron where I felt Leo's hand resting on it too. I gave it a gentle rub hoping that I would be pregnant very soon, that Leo and I can begin a new adventure in our journey. "I hope you are inside of me right now little one, you will be loved forever if you stay with me and your daddy", I said, softly "I love you so much, I hope you know that, sleep tight my angel"
