Calli's Pov...
It's been a week since my family and I had defeated the Shredder. Everyone of us was very happy that a huge enemy of ours is now gone forever out of our lives. Splinter and I were the most relieved out of everyone, since his enemy who killed his wife and daughter has been vanquished and for him who killed my mother and father. Our families have had their deaths avenged and justice was served, and now they can finally rest in peace.

But not all things were going good.

I have been sick for the whole week and I have no idea why. I keep throwing up in the morning and I'm just drained of energy. I am sleeping with my husband Leo up against his shell and just as I shifted a little in my sleep, my eyes suddenly shot open and I felt all sick in my stomach and I felt something coming up. I quickly ran into the bathroom and I knelt down into the trash can and I threw up a little. I regained my breath as I leaned against the sink. I rubbed my plastron feeling the pain coming on and I slowly got up to my feet and I stumbled out of the bathroom. I plopped down in bed and I groaned lowly in pain. I felt Leo move towards me and he rubbed my shoulder. "Calli are you okay?", he asked

"Oh Leo it's the same thing, I have been nauseous all week", I said "I just threw up again"

"Oh Calli come here", he said, pulling me over to him

I turned slowly over to him and I groaned a little as he rubbed my shell. "I just feel like my stomach has been stabbed with a knife over a 100 times", I said

"I just thought it was a bug, and we thought it would go away after a day", he said

"But it's not", I said, rubbing my plastron "I just feel terrible"

"I think you better sit out training for today until we figure out why you are sick", he said

"That would be a good idea", I said

He kissed my forehead and he rubbed my arm. "I'm sorry you don't feel well", he said

"It's okay honeybun", I said "Not your fault, everyone gets sick every now and then. I think I should go and see Donnie, maybe he could figure out what's wrong and what remedy I can do to stop this sickness"

"That would be a good idea", he said "I'll let him know"

"Thank you honey", I said, kissing his cheek "I just want to go back to sleep for awhile"

"Okay honey you need it", he said, kissing my forehead

He stroked my head and he covered me up and I slowly fell asleep again. Leo got out of bed and he quietly left closing the door. I sighed with relief as some of the pain was starting to dissolve and I snuggled more into the bed. I woke up later and saw that it was 12 in the afternoon. I couldn't believe that I slept that long and I yawned awake and I sat up in bed. Some of the pain returned again and I groaned rubbing my plastron as I slid out of bed. I walked towards the door and I opened it and walked out and went into the kitchen and I grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge.

I took a few small sips and groaned more in pain as I felt the pain increasing. "Oh gosh!", I said

"Callista?", someone said

I turned and I saw Splinter looking at me with concern. "Oh good afternoon sensei", Is aid

"Are you feeling alright my daughter?", he asked

"No sensei I don't feel well at all", I said "I have been sick all week, it's like I have been ran over and over again"

"Oh my dear", he said, stroking my shoulder "I'm sorry for you illness"

"It's no worries Splinter, I'm seeing Donnie right now and maybe he can figure out what's wrong", I said

"I'm sure Donatello can help you", he said, with a smile

I smiled and I winced a little in pain as I felt the pain pierce me in the stomach and I leaned forward holding my plastron. Splinter held my shoulder in his paw and he wrapped his arm around my shell. "Here my daughter let me help you get there", he said

He helped me walk towards the lab doors across the living room and he stopped as he helped me stand up. "Oh thank you sensei", I said "That was very thoughtful of you"

"Anything my daughter", he said, smiling

I smiled and he walked off and I walked inside of the lab. It was full of things you would see in a scientific lab; long science tables covered with beakers, test tubes, microscopes and many thicks books of any topic that there is possible. On the other half of it, it was like a small hospital with a hospital bed, monitors, and medical supplies in a huge storage cabinet. I looked around for Donnie and I found him sitting at his work table drawing out something while wearing his special magnifying glasses. I smiled and I walked over to him. "Hey Donnie", I said

He looked up to me with a smile and his eyes were all huge. "Oh hey Calli", he said

"My what big eyes you have", I said, giggling

"The better to see you my sissy", he said, chuckling

I laughed and smiled. "Good one Donnie", I said

He moved the glasses on top of his head and set down his pen. "What brings you here?", he asked

"Well I haven't been feeling well all week", I said "I think I could be catching something"

Donnie looked at me a little confused and he walked over to me."Well you don't feel warm or anything", Donnie said, pressing his hand on my head "How long have you been like this?"

"For a few days now", I said "It started the day after we defeated the Shredder for good"

"Just curious have you been feeling nauseous?", he asked

"Well now that you have mentioned it, I have been feeling lightheaded and I have been throwing up these last few days", I said

Donnie was thinking for a moment of what could be wrong with me. "Mmmmm, well it could just be you getting the flu or I think Calli it might be the early signs of pregnancy", he said

My eyes went wide when he said that word. "Pregnancy? Do you think that is probably the reason why I have been sick?", I asked "I mean Leo and I wanted to try and conceive"

"It could be a possibility", Donnie said "Well have to check and make sure. Follow me"

I followed behind Donnie and he lead me to a hospital bed. "Here lay down here and I will be right back with a few things", he said

He walked off as I laid down and I rested my hands on my plastron. Donnie brought over a stethoscope, a value, and needle. "Alright we will just run a few tests and see if it's possible you have conceived", he said

I smiled and he put the stethoscope on and he put it on my plastron. "Okay just breath in and out deeply, but slowly for me Calli", he said

I took a deep a breath in and I slowly let it out. I did it again as Donnie was moving the stethoscope around my plastron as he was listening for something. "Alright", he said "Now we just need a little blood sample"

"Alrighty then", I said, smiling

Donnie put disinfectant on a little cotton ball and he rubbed it on my forearm and he stuck a syringe in my arm and drew out a little dose of my blood in the value. "Just wait here and I will be right back", he said

He took the blood sample and went to the work table and he put my blood sample on a little plastic strip and he put it under a microscope. He looked into it as he adjusted it as he analyzed it. After a few moments he came back over to me and he sat down beside me. "Okay Calli we just have one more test", he said "I'm going to give you a sonogram, this way we can see inside of you"

"Oh how fascinating", I said, smiling

"Okay this might be cold", he said, squeezing some cold blue substance on my plastron

I shivered in bed and I let out a giggle. "Oh my that is very cold!", I said

Donnie chuckled and he took something from a table and he turned on a monitor right beside of us. He applied the device to my plastron and he moved it along my lower plastron and I watched the monitor seeing what would happen. Just then I saw a little funny shaped image appear on the screen and then I heard the sound of a small heartbeat beating slowly and the little image was moving around. "What is that?", I asked

"That's your baby Calli", he said "You are indeed pregnant"

I gasped covering my mouth with my hands. "Oh my gosh!", I said, starting to cry happily

"You are pregnant, you were right", he said "You can see already seeing the little shell forming and there are the little feet, hands and the little head"

"Is it too early to find out the gender?", I asked

"Well it actually is, since you are only in your first trimester", he said "We probably won't find out for at least 6 weeks"

"Oh no, no, I was just curious, I don't want to know it", I said, giggling "I want it to be a surprise"

"Oh alright then", Donnie said, chuckling "Here"

He printed out the photo and he handed it to be. "A little memory that you can never forget about and will always be with you", he said

"Oh Donnie thank you", I said, smiling

I smiled lovingly seeing my baby and I let a few tears fall down my cheeks. "You happy?", Donnie asked

I just nodded and I sniffled. "More than happy, I'm ecstatic", I said "It's always been a dream of mine to have a child"

"And to think you only got two months to wait", he said

"Oh my gosh!", I said, happily "I can't believe this. Leo is going to be so happy when he sees this"

Donnie smiled. "Congratulations", he said "Your due date will be on the 12th of August"

"Thanks Donnie!", I said, smiling "I better tell Leo the big news"

"Go for it!", he said, smiling

I smiled and we gave each other a hug and I sat up in bed and I slid out as I held the photo and I walked out of the lab. I smiled as I looked at the photo and I walked into the living room. "Leonardo can you come in here for a moment?", I called out

I smiled as I waited anxiously for Leonardo to come out of the bedroom. I held the photo in my hands and I smiled seeing my little child growing inside of me, of how small and cute it was. I touched the photo carefully stroking where my child's head is with my finger. "I can't believe you are growing inside of me", I said, softly "I have always wanted to have a child of my own one day and I can't believe that you are going to be here in my arms in just two short months"

I looked down at my plastron and I gave it a gentle rub, smiling happily. I then heard the sound of a door opening and I immediately looked up and I smiled seeing it was Leo coming out of the bedroom. He smiled happily seeing me and he came walking over towards me. "Hey you pretty girl", he said

I giggled and blushed. "Hey sweetie", I said, giggling

"What's that?", he asked, pointing to the photo

"Honey Donnie and I figured out why have been feeling sick for the past week and this photo will show you why", I said, handing it to him

He took it from my hand and he looked at it curiously. "What is this exactly?", he asked

I smiled and I stood next to him and I looked at the photo in his hands. "Well here is the little feet", I said, pointing "And there is the little hands. Then there is the head and there is the little shell that is already starting to form"

"Wait are you telling me what I think you are telling me?", Leo asked, shocked

"Well what do you think?", I asked, smiling

"Are you...pregnant?", he asked

I nodded happily smiling, trying the hold back my tears. "Oh my god!", Leo said, happily

Leo quickly took me into his arms and he hugged me tightly to him. I laughed and smiled as he spun me around. "You are pregnant?!", he said, shocked "Are you kidding me?!"

"I'm not!", I said, excitedly "I'm pregnant!"

Leo then started to cry with joy and I hugged him to me. "Oh baby", I said, rubbing his shell "It's okay"

"Are you serious?", he asked

"Oh come on sweetie you know I would never pull a joke like that on you", I said, giggling

Leo smiled brightly and he got down on his knees and he kissed my bump with happiness while hugging my hips. I giggled and stroked his head. He then looked back up at me and he hugged me tightly and kissed me lovingly.

"Oh my gosh I'm going to be a father!", he said, burying his head in my shoulder

I smiled and giggled. "Got you good didn't I?", I asked

"Oh my gosh more than ever", he said "It is just, okay, this is about as good as when I proposed to you on the rooftop and when I saw your reaction"

I laughed and we hugged each other tightly. "Mind if I shout it out?", he asked, excitedly

"Sure! I mean they are going to find out either way", I said, giggling

"Guys! Calli is pregnant!", Leo said, running off "She is pregnant! I'm going to be a daddy!"

Mikey and Raph then came out of their rooms, shocked of hearing what Leo said and they looked at me surprised. "You are pregnant?!", Mikey asked

"I am!", I said, happily

"Sissy!", he said, running over

He quickly took me into his arms and I laughed as he hugged me tightly. "I'm going to be an uncle shellacious!", Raph said "Wahoo!"

"Told them the news?", Donnie asked, smiling walking out of the lab

"Yep!", I said, nodding my head laughing

"What is going on here?", Splinter asked, coming from the dojo

"Splinter", I said, happily "I just found out some great news! You are going to be a Grandpa! I'm pregnant!"

"Oh my daughter I'm so proud of you", Splinter said, gently

"Thank you Splinter", I said

We hugged each other gently and I heard Leo cheering again. "I'm going to be a father!", he said, doing a flip off the subway car "Best day ever!"

I smiled and I shook my head giggled, seeing the boys acting all crazy about my pregnancy. I rubbed my plastron and I looked down to it. "You are going to have one crazy family my little sweetheart", I said

After dinner, I was starting to get tired from after an exciting day of finding out that Leo and I were going to start a family. I went into Leo's and my bedroom and went inside the bathroom and took a warm shower. I dried myself off and I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I walked out turning off the light and I climbed into bed. I took one of my pillows and laid it on the bed and I laid down on the pillow to support my back. I leaned against the headboard and grabbed my book on my nightstand and I opened it up to where my book mark was on the last page I read. I started reading for awhile getting to a good part in the chapter, but I didn't hear the sound of the door opening and someone walking inside.

I felt the covers being pulled down from my waist and I felt a hand rubbing my plastron gently. I smiled and sighed with content as I laid back on the headboard and I looked to see it was my husband Leo who climbed into bed and he was looking down at my growing bump with a smile. I smiled down at him and stroked his shell. Then Leo leaned in and he pressed his lips on my plastron, kissing our child inside of me and I started giggling uncontrollably.

I heard Leo chuckled and he continued to kiss my bump as his soft lips tickled my plastron. "Leo that tickles!", I said, giggling and struggling

"Hey I'm just showing some love to my little ninja", Leo said, smiling up to me

"Well your love is about to make me jump out of bed", I said, giggling

Leo chuckled and he pulled his lips away from my plastron and I relaxed as he rubbed my plastron in a slow motion rub. I smiled down to Leo as he laid my head on my small growing slope and he just rubbed the side of it gently. "You seem really happy that we are going to have our little family Leonardo", I said

"Of course I am, it's always been a dream of mine to have children, that will carry on the tradition of our clan", he said, softly rubbing my bump

I smiled and I rubbed his head gently. "Well I'm glad that you are happy with this", I said "And we only got two months to wait"

"Only two months", Leo said, softly

I smiled and he kissed my bump on last time and I smiled and giggled as Leo got up from my bump and he kissed my lips. "I'm so happy that you fulfilled this wish of mine, thank you Callista", he said, kissing me

I giggled and I kissed him back sweetly stroking his cheek. I slowly pulled away from the kiss. "It was actually a wish of mine too, so I think we both deserved the credit", I said

"You are right", he said, smiling "I love you so much"

"I love you too", I said, lovingly

We leaned in and kissed each other with love and I felt Leo stroke my plastron with his hand delicately and I giggled in the kiss, but then Leo slowly pulled away. "Calli?", Leo asked

"Mmmm", I said, looking up to him

"Do you think we will be good parents?", he asked "I just want to be a good father to our son or daughter"

I smiled up to him and I stroked his cheek. "Oh Leonardo, I can tell already that you are going to be a good father to our child. No parents are perfect in raising their children, we just need to be real ones and that's what we can do best for our little one. We will both be in this together through thick and thin, no matter what", I said

Leo smiled and he kissed my forehead. "You are right", he said "I just don't think I can wait that long"

I giggled and smiled. "I know it will be hard to wait, but it will be worth it when the time comes", I said

"That is true", Leo said, smiling

I yawned sleepily and I stretched my arms a little. "I think the baby is telling me to turn in for the night", I said, yawning

Leo chuckled and he rubbed my bump gently and he yawned too. "Me too it's ben a life changing day today", he said

I kissed his lips softly. "Good night", I said, sleepily

"Good night", he said, kissing my temple "Love you"

"Love you too", I said, with my eyes fluttering closed

"And love you too my little ninja", Leo said, kissing my bump

I giggled and smiled and he gave it a gentle hug, before covering me up. I smiled and I turned over on my side as Leo turned off the lamp and he moved close behind my shell and he slid his hand over my hip and he rested it over my bump with a warm hand protectively. I smiled as I looked down at his hand and I placed my hand on top of his and I closed my eyes and fell asleep. I then started to dream about how Leo's and my life would be like now that we will soon be parents and what are child will become. Maybe it will look handsome like his father or beautiful like her mother and how he or she will be the next leader of our clan. But I don't care for what we will have I already love my child with all my heart and I couldn't wait for the two months for it growing inside of me and it will soon be here with me and Leo, and try and be the best parents we can be for our future child.
