Four hours pass and Alex is in the room watching Rosie sleep. She calls Justin and the others in to watch Rose while Alex gets her released and ready to go home.

Alex goes back in the room and picks up Rosie and puts her in the car, once Alex gets home, she goes upstairs and puts Rosalina to bed and proceeds to do the same herself.

The next morning passes and Alex wakes up and is still a little worried about her little lion, but Alex knows she will be fine Rosie is a tough girl, just look at all she has been through so far, and she's only six. Anyways Alex put in an application for a job as an Editorial Illustrator and is waiting to hear something back.

Good Moring dad, is everything okay? I don't know, I just got some papers today saying that there are some discrepancies with the building. What do you mean? Come here, read this— "We are sorry to inform you that this building is being demolished" What?! they can't do that.

Apparently, they can. Wha... No! Don't they know how many people are living here! Hey guys what's going on? Justin read this— okay. "We are sorry to inform you... What?! They can't do that— That's what I said. After the reading the letter, the Russo's get together to discuss their next move.

Mommy! 'Rosie calls out while coming down the stairs rubbing her eyes' Rosie, hey baby. What is going on? Oh, it's nothing sweetheart. Are you lying mommy? What why would you think that? When you lie you laugh— oh, I do- do that. 'Rosalina starts to laugh— what are you laughing at? You said doo-doo.

Oh, I can't lie to you. They are going to destroy the building— but where are we going to live mama? 'Alex almost breaks into tears hearing her daughter ask that. I don't know but we'll figure it out were going to be okay, I promise.

OK what are we going to do about this? Max asks. There's nothing we can do Max their demolishing the building. We can't just leave, we spent our whole lives in this place, and besides where are we going to go? Alex is right, we have to do something— what are we going to do Max? We can't just tell them not to demolish the place.

Maybe we can— What? What are you talking about? A lot has happened in this place, right which means its iconic or something like that.

So? What's your point? Max is right, his idea is solid. If we can convince them that this building is a historical landmark, then they can't destroy it. Okay, but how are we going to convince them that this place is worth it.

Hey we've had a bunch of celebrities in here, right? Yeah, and we had a fashion show here— and a concert too! All right let's save this place. "The Wizards set off to save their home and thankfully they didn't have to go far." Hi, are you one of the contractors? Yes, and who are you? My name is Justin Russo, I'm one of the tenants of the building.

Look if this is about the demo there is nothing I can do— look please just here me out. I'm sorry kid this is happening— look so many good things have happened in this building, Justin explains all of the good things that have happened here but it doesn't matter, the Demolish is still on. So, there is nothing I can say to convince you huh? Sorry but it's New York I'm sure you can find somewhere to live.

Justin what happened? It's over. Justin! I'm sorry Alex, I thought my idea would work. Oh Max, come here— I'm gonna go. No Max... 'Alex sighs as she goes back upstairs and tries to figure out something.'

Some time passes and it's time to go. Everyone is downstairs in the Sub Station saying their goodbyes. The Russo's sit down one more time and think of everything they have gone through in this building. The contractor walks in and lets them finish their goodbyes.

I don't want to leave mommy. I know lion, I don't want too either. 'Rosalina runs out of Alex's arms and up to the man' Please don't take our home— Rosie honey come on, it's okay. 'Rosie starts crying into her mother's chest. I... don't want to leave- Rosie manages to get through her tears. Shh, it's okay! It's going to be okay.

Look uh I'm not heartless, I can see how much this place means to you. I mean you kept it going for 20 plus years, and it has historical value. I can have this place sanctioned as an historical landmark; I can't take a home from so many people. And definitely not you guys— so, you're not doing to tear the place down? No.

'After a few days an apartment in the building opens up and Alex decides to move down there to give Rosie and give them both some more space.

After that interesting debacle a few weeks pass. Alex and Rosalina are moved in and it's time for Rosalina to start First Grade and Alex to start her new job, Alex gets into the school but she just can't say goodbye to her little lion.

I can't believe you're already in first grade; it feels like just yesterday I was holding you for the first time, a little baby wrapped in a blanket in my arms.

Oh, come here. 'Alex hugs her daughter never wanting to let her go. Mommy you're hugging me too tight— I'm sorry I just don't want you to go, I don't want to go either, Rosie replies. 'Alex sniffs and wipes her face promising herself she isn't going to cry.'

Okay, I am not going to cry. I'll see you later okay, have a good day. 'Alex turns around and is about to leave when she hears a voice from behind her call out.' Mama- 'Alex turns around to see Rosie running into her arms. Don't go Mama— oh, baby I have to.

'Alex grabs Rosie's Lion charm that Justin made her, and tells Rosie that it will be okay. Hey just like a Lion remember, strong and brave, bye-bye honey— bye mama.
