Taiga moaned as she stepped into the kitchen and rubbed her eyes, "Morning, Ryuuji," she opened her eyes and looked around the empty kitchen, "Ryuuji?" seeing her husband outside the window, she sighed and shook her head before she walked towards the door.
Sitting next to Ryuuji, she frowned, "What's wrong? Why are you out here?"
"I got a call from Yasuko last night," Taiga hummed as she hugged her knees to her chest and Ryuuji sighed and shook his head, "My grandparents aren't doing so good and they want us to come visit," he looked at his wife and frowned, "If you'd rather not, I'll understand an-"
"Your grandparents were kind to us when we went to visit them the first time," Taiga shook her head and rested her head against his shoulder, "They even allowed us to share a room that first night and…I'd like to see them again," Ryuuji hummed and nodded as he wrapped an arm around Taiga and rubbed her back, "I'm sorry your grandparents aren't doing so well," Ryuuji hummed again before kissing the side of her head and the two sat in silence.
