16. Chapter 16

Leo's Pov...
Calli had made a full recovery after a day of rest from the blood drainage by that Dr. Quease. I was relieved that he didn't bring permanent damage to Calli and the baby and I was able to save her just in time. I have been now more protective of Callista since she was kidnapped, staying by her side constantly, not wanting her to leave my sight again. Even though Callista told me that everything was alright, reassuring me nothing else would happen during her remaining length of her pregnancy, I was still staying by her side, making sure nothing unexpected happen once again. I just didn't want anyone to take away the two people I love the most.

It was late at night in the lair and Calli and I were fast asleep in our room. Calli was now past half way till her due date in August in about three weeks and we were both starting to grow eager, waiting for the day to finally arrive. I was sleeping on my side away from Calli with my shell facing her, as she slept close up behind me. I shifted under the covers and my head curved more into the pillow as I settled down in my sleep. I then felt a tiny nudge against my lower shell. I didn't think too much about it, thinking it was only Calli shifting in her sleep and I shrugged it off. But a few minutes later I felt it again, this time it was much harder as it was strong enough to shake me.

I moaned awake rubbing my eyes open and I looked over at the clock seeing it was 2 in the morning. I turned towards Calli thinking she was trying to wake me up, that she was in discomfort. Unlike most women that would be constantly complaining at this point in a pregnancy, Calli she took this really well. She never complained about the weight gain, the cravings, and never had any mood swings. The only thing she would do is just groan a little when she was feeling discomforted. "What's wrong Calli? Are you hurting?", I asked, softly

But to my surprise, Calli wasn't even awake. She was fast asleep, with her mouth slightly opened snoring lightly, with her one arm under her pillow and the other out in front of her bent. I was now confused on what shook me awake, I know Calli is not a kicker in bed and she rarely moved at all while sleeping. I then felt the hard nudge again, this time on my plastron, making me bend forward bringing my head towards Calli's growing plastron. I chuckled smiling, seeing it was our baby was the one who woke me up, shaking my head.

I reached with my hand and I stroked her bump gently. I then felt a series of small kicks and nudges all along my hand and I chuckled seeing how my child was wide awake and was trying to get my attention.

So I slowly slid down the bed being quiet not to wake up Calli. I got down to where my face was even with her bump and my hand slowly stroked the side of her bump. I felt the baby shift a little till I felt it up against my hand to where I could feel the head, how it probably knows I'm right here in front of it. "Hey little fella, you doing alright in there?", I asked, softly "You are up awfully early, you wanted to see Daddy?"

The baby shifted and I felt it slid back away from my hand and I felt instead what felt like a little foot against my hand. I chuckled softly as I felt it pushed up more against my hand. I then decided to try and play with my son or daughter, but quietly not wanting to wake up my sleeping wife, who was in deep slumber. I used my finger to gently tickle at my baby's foot and it instantly jerked back. I chuckled and smiled softly, then I felt the baby laying up against the side of the baby bump and I tickled the side of the baby softly over the baby's side and it flinched and shook around.

"Well it looks like someone is ticklish like their Mommy", I said, chuckling softly

I felt the baby shift around again and I then saw a little hand pushing out of the front of Calli's bump. I smiled amazed as I saw three little fingers on a little hand, pushing out in front of me. As if the baby was trying to reach out towards me. I touched gently against the little hand and I leaned over and kissed the hand softly. My arm slowly slid around Calli's waist and I hugged her bump towards me gently and I rubbed it affectionately. "My little ninja, I just want to tell you how much I love you and how much I am really happy I am going to be your father. Me and mommy love you very much and you mean the world to us. I have been wanting to have a child for a long time and I'm really happy that you and your Mommy are going to be meeting you really soon. Try your best not to kick Mommy's belly too hard, even though you have my strong kick. And I promise you I'll always be with your mother Calli for every moment I breathe protecting her and you. But I know your Mom is the best thing that ever happened to me and there's not any room that can replace you or your Mom in my heart. I will thank her every moment for her carrying you inside of her and loving me for who I am", I said, softly

I then began to give Calli's bump a shower of kisses gently with affection and love, showing my baby my love for him or her that I will love forever and ever. I held Calli's waist towards me close and I felt my baby kick against my face and I hushed it softly and rubbed in the spot on her bump to calm it down to let Calli sleep. I began to hum a Japanese lullaby that I remembered that Splinter used to hum for me when I was very little that I remembered by heart towards my growing son or daughter. I felt the baby starting to calm down and possibly falling asleep to the lullaby I was humming to it.

I felt it curl up against my hand to where I could feel the little shell, thinking that it had gone to sleep. "I can't wait to see you in just a few more weeks", I said "Grow big and strong and get ready to be loved, well I already do love you forever but you know what I mean. Sleep good and I'll see you in the morning"

I gave Calli's bump one last gentle kiss as I laid my head down beside it, staying close, to make sure it would know it was safe with me and Calli. I slowly began to drift off to sleep and I began to dream about my own family to be and of its future.

Calli's Pov...
I waited for Leo to fall asleep before I slowly peeked my eyes open. I looked down at Leo who was sleeping right next towards bump and I couldn't help, but smile seeing the already connection between Leo and the baby forming. I heard every word that he said about me to our baby and I felt my heart heat up with happiness. I was so proud of Leo of how he has been sticking by my side for the whole length of my pregnancy and how much he really loved our child.

Anyone can have child on the way and call themselves "becoming a parent". But a real parent is someone who puts that child above their own needs and wants. And Leo has been an example of a real parent, for all the things he has done. Loving it, cherishing it, and protecting it, just like a true kind of a man. They say what defines a father is someone who will catch you before you fall, brushes you off and lets you try again. Someone who wants to keep you from making mistakes, but instead lets you find your own way. Even though his heart breaks in silence when you get hurt. Someone who holds you when you cry, scolds you when you break the rules, shines pride when you succeed, and has faith in you even when you fail.

The love and dedication Leo has in his heart, I know he will be the best he can be in helping with me raising our child. Even though there will be some flaws along the way, it's all apart of the learning lesson. We can do the best we can until we know better on what to do to fix our flaws, then when we do know better, we will know better.

I gently stroked Leo's head with my hand as he laid silently in his sleep. I leaned down and I gave him a small peck in between his eyes as he shifted closer towards me, moaning softly. "Sleep well my love", I said, quietly

I then looked to the side of me, looking down at my baby bump and I gave it a gentle rub. I kissed my hand and I placed it over where the baby was laying down. "And sleep well my little angel", I said, softly

I laid my head back down on the pillow as I curled up, sighing softly, falling back asleep with a small smile formed on my face. After a good night of rest, I did wake up early in the morning, even more early than Leo ever would. I did some early morning meditation, had a hearty breakfast, and did a little cleaning around the lair just to pass the time over, till everyone started waking up. But apparently me waking up early was a mistake. When I tried to head back into the bedroom, Leo had locked me out from the inside and I couldn't get in. "Leo! Leo!", I said, pounding on the door "Open the door Leonardo!"

"You can't come in for awhile Calli, you are going to have to wait", Leo said, from the bedroom

"Why?", I asked, utterly annoyed

"Because I don't want you to", he said "You can see when I'm finished doing what I am doing"

"Leonardo Yoshi Hamato!", I said, pounding on the door "Don't make me have to use Raph as a battering ram to get in!"

"Already became prepared for that, I tripled locked the door", he said

"If you were out here right now you would be facing a very hormonal girl you know that?", I said, crossing my arms

"That's why I had the doors triple locked to make sure you can't get to me", Leo said "It will be worth it Calli, just be patient"

I growled annoyed and I kicked the door slightly with my foot, before walking away, and I then sat down on the couch. "I swear that turtle drives me crazy sometimes", I said, mumbling to myself

"Are you alright Callista?", someone said

I then looked up seeing my father Splinter come walking into he living room. "Oh hello Master Splinter", I said, sighing softly "I'm okay, it's just Leo is driving me nutty right now"

He chuckled. "And how is Leonardo driving you nutty my daughter?", he asked

"He locked me out of the bedroom and he says he doesn't want to be disturbed", I said, looking at the bedroom door

"Do you know why he is doing this?", he asked, gently

"No he has been in there all morning", I said, slightly annoyed "He won't tell me what he is doing and he won't let me see anything"

Splinter chuckled and smiled softly. "Leonardo does always strive for perfection in the things he does Callista", he said

"True that", I said, shrugging while nodding in agreement

"How about you and I talk while we wait for Leonardo?", Splinter asked, suggesting

"That sounds like a good idea, at least that will take my mind off for what he is doing in there", I said, getting up from the couch

Splinter chuckled and I followed behind him to the dojo. "You go on Callista, I'll make us some tea", Splinter said

"Okay sensei, I'll light some candles for us", I said, walking toward the dojo

I walked towards the dojo and I grabbed some candles from Splinter's room and lit them on the floor. I then grabbed two meditation mats laying off on the side of the dojo and I placed them in front of each other. I then sat in lotus position facing the dojo doors as Splinter came in the dojo closing the doors with his tail, making the room go dark. He held a tray of hot steaming green tea on a tray as he knelt down in front of me and placed the tray in between us both. "Here my daughter, this should ease your stress", Splinter said

He handed me a small cup and I took it in my hands as I took a few sips. I moaned in satisfaction as I savored the taste of the tea on my tongue and sliding down my throat. "Better?", Splinter asked

"Much better thank you", I said, softly smiling

I took a few more sips of tea as my body began to slowly unwind from the hormones. I then felt my baby moving around inside of me as I looked down at it smiling gently. I then giggled as I felt it kick in front of me and I rubbed it softly in a circle. "I see your little one has been practicing kicks?", Splinter said, chuckling

"Oh yes it has", I said, smiling looking at him "I'm really surprised it hasn't kicked its way out of me by now, a few times its knocked me down on my knees"

I then felt it kick me again a little bit harder as I knelt forward a little. "It kicked you again?", Splinter asked

"Really hard this time", I said, giggling "Here"

I gently took his paw and I placed on top of my bump as we felt the baby shifting around inside of me, then it gently kicked Splinter's paw. It bounced up a little as Splinter looked down in awe, he then sighed. "That feeling never escapes your mind", he said

"It doesn't", I said, agreeing "It's just amazing"

"You remind me of how Tang Shen was when she was carrying our little Miwa", Splinter said

"Really?", I asked

"Yes", he said "Tang Shen was often happy while she was pregnant and Miwa was quite the mover and kicker herself just like your little one here"

"I bet it was amazing for you when you felt her kick for the first time wasn't it?", I asked

He sighed again softly. "I always think about that moment every time I think about her, that moment was the most unforgettable I ever have had happen in my life"

"Splinter?", I asked

"Mmmmm?", he said

"Were you nervous of becoming a parent?", I asked

He nodded his head. "Yes, I was nervous Callista", he said "I was more nervous than anything I have ever done in my life, why do you ask?"

"I'm just a little scared, I guess", I said, looking away a bit "I mean I know I'm getting all the support from Leo and you all, but I just feel so nervous. I mean don't get me wrong I am happy that I'm going to be a mother, I guess it's just all a little fast paced and I'm not sure if I'm fully prepared for this"

Splinter placed his paw on my shoulder and I looked up towards him. "It's alright Callista, it is normal what you are feeling. This is something you have never done before in your life. A child is a blessing and a gift, it unites us all...into one true family. Do not feel you have to be brave in order to face a situation like this. I know I only raised Miwa for a very short time before I lost her, it wasn't easy but I don't regret a single moment of it and I don't regret a moment of raising your brothers and your husband"

I smiled slightly and Splinter gently grabbed my hand with his paw. "I have no doubt that you will be a perfect mother", he said

I smiled more and I gave his paw a gentle squeeze. "Thanks sensei", I said

We shared a smile and I felt the baby kick again inside of me and I giggled placing my other hand on my bump. We both smiled down at my swollen plastron silently taking in the cherishing moment, until I head the sound of my husband Leo calling out to me.

"Calli!", Leo called out "It's done!"

I looked over my shoulder towards the dojo doors. "Hold on Leo, give me a second!", I called out

I then turned back towards Master Splinter. "Go my dear, I'm sure he wants you to see what he has created", he said, smiling gently

I smiled back towards him, then I quickly hugged him to me as he hugged me back gently. "Thank you for the support Splinter, that really did give me a lot of confidence", I said

"Just remember my dear you and Leonardo are not the only ones going to be raising the baby alone, we will all be here to help", he said, reassuring me

"Thank you", I said, smiling softly

I gave him one last gentle hug and I bowed in respect towards him as I walked out of the dojo towards Leo. He was waiting for me outside of the bedroom door. "Hey", Leo said, smiling

"Hey Leo, so what is it that you wanted to show me?", I asked, walking over

"It's a little something for the baby", he said

"But why couldn't I see it then?", I asked, cocking an eyebrow at him

"Because it is a surprise for you too", he said, teasing me

I smirked and rolled my eyes playfully. "Do you do that just to annoy me or something?", I asked, teasingly

"It's cute seeing you looking all teased", he said, with a smile

I growled playfully and I gave him a shove. He chuckled and he kissed my cheek as I hid my head in between my shoulders. "Okay Calli you ready to see what the surprise is?", he asked

"Yes I'm ready Leo, you have been killing me with suspense for two hours!", I said, giggling

"Okay, okay hold on!", he said, getting behind me covering my eyes

"I figured you were going to do that", I said, shaking my head

Leo chuckled and he kissed my neck gently as he then began leading me towards the bedroom, with me walking in front of him. "Now? Can I look now?", I asked, growing impatient

"Easy Calli, don't freak out the baby", Leo said, keeping my eyes closed

"The baby is alright, it's the freaked out daddy to be I'm worried about", I said, taking one of his hand's off of my eyes smirking

"No peeking Calli", Leo said, covering my eyes again

I giggled shaking my head and Leo had stopped me. "Now keep them close till I say", he said

"Okay baby I won't open", I said, giggling

I waited with my eyes closed eager to know what it is that Leo wanted to show me. "Okay now you can", he said

My eyes opened and he moved out of the way to reveal what the surprise was. "Wallah, nursery for little ninja", Leo said, smiling

I gasped softly in amazement. "Oh my goodness", I said, happily

I walked inside in the bedroom slowly as I took in on the sight of the nursery. Against the wall was a beautifully trimmed white crib with white, dark blue, and dark green stripped bedding with two little white pillow with dark blue trim with little turtles on them. Hanging over the crib was a small dark blue silk blanket with white trim with a giant green turtle in the center of it. Beside the crib was a white padded rocking chair with a dark green fuzzy blanket over it along with matching rocking footstool. On the wall were six little pictures on white canvasses, painted in black were Japanese symbols and what they meant at the bottom. Love, Harmony, Peace, Family, Happiness, and Grace. "It's amazing", I said, stroking my hand along the top of the crib

I then looked at the little mobile over the crib and I smiled lovingly, seeing how there was little stuffed turtles hanging down and what was so cute it had little bandannas and belts around them with little weapons, resembling the boys and I. In the center was a little stuffed rat that resembled Master Splinter with his walking stick in his paw. "Oh Leo", I said, feeling my heart flutter

"I made it myself, for our family", he said, hugging me from behind

"You really made this yourself?", I asked

"Just for little ninja", he said, cradling his hands around my baby bump

I smiled lovingly as my head laid on the front of his shoulder as my hands slide over the top of Leo's. "Leo I'm just...just touched", I said "I really have no words on how to say on how amazing this is"

Leo's Pov...
"Our little one deserves only the best", I said, kissing her cheek gently

We then felt the baby kick gently on my left side as we both smiled down towards it, as my hand patted against where it kicked her. "The baby thinks you are the best Dad ever", she said, smiling up at me

"Do you think it will like it?", I asked

"Oh Leonardo, the baby is going to love it", she said "I can feel it"

"Well I'm glad you both do", I said, snuggling the back of her head "I just want it to look as homely as possible"

"Leo this is the place our baby is going to grow up in, you can't change that", she said, giggling

"Course I can, I'm the toughest ninja around", I said, teasing smiling

"Okay big daddy", she said, smiling "I can't wait to see how you are going to handle the teenage years"

I gave her an affectionate squeeze as Calli's and my arms slithered around her waist cradling the baby inside, as we stared at the nursery in silence. Soon to have a giggling and happy little one to keep it warm and safe at night.

Calli's Pov...
Well today was the day. It was my last day of being pregnant. Today was finally the day I get to meet my son or daughter that has been growing inside of me for the past two months. Those three weeks sure did went by fast. I was so excited that it was finally going to happen after waiting so impatiently for the due date to arrive. Though I was rather nervous since being a first time mom I don't know exactly how the delivery was going to be or what kind pain I would have to deal with when I go into labor. But what worried me the most is something that could be possibly wrong the baby, I worried that there could be a health risk or something even worse. Even though I did take all of my prenatal vitamins everyday, I made sure I ate the right kinds of food, and I did get weekly ultrasounds from Donnie to check up on the development, I was still very worried. But I put all those thoughts behind in my mind, not wanting to think the worse, and I hoped that my baby would be healthy.

I was sitting in the living room, eating a slice of pizza with pickles and pineapples on top it. I swear I had the weirdest cravings ever. The boys did make fun of me since I was now eating stranger than Mikey, but hey I couldn't complain I was eating for two and it was rather humorous to us all. As I finished my last bite, I licked my lips satisfied and I heard my belly growling, and I looked down and rubbed it softly, thinking the baby was telling me it loved what I just ate. I set my plate down on the coffee table and I slid my legs down and I tried to stand up. But apparently my baby weight didn't help much with doing that. I was literally unable to walk or stand these last few days, as if I was paralyzed from the waist down.

"Well you certainly don't want me to get up and move around don't you?", I said, looking down at my bump

I felt the baby shift inside of me snuggling inside in the bottom right corner of my belly. I giggled and I rubbed my bump happily and I grunted trying to get up again. "Oh boy, this is going to be a challenge", I said, to myself

I tried using the arm of the couch as I tried to use it to support my weight to stand on my feet. I was able to stand up on my feet and I pushed myself off from the arm and I was able to stand, but only for a few moments till I felt my weight pulling me back down. I nearly lost my balance and I saw Leo quickly came rushing over and caught me before I could of fallen back. "Woah careful there honey", he said, supporting my shell

"Thanks", I said, giggling "My gosh it's so hard to do anything anymore"

Leo smiled and he rubbed my swollen bump. "Well I can see why", he said, chuckling

I smiled and giggled, but then groaned as I placed my hand on the side of my bump as I felt my baby kick. I rubbed where I felt it kick and Leo looked at me with concern. "You okay?", he asked

"Yeah it's really kicking hard lately, I think it's telling me its almost ready to meet us both", I said

"Well you know today Donnie said you can go into labor anytime tonight or tomorrow", he said

"I know that", I said "I have been feeling a little bit discomfort in the last few hours, I'm not sure if it's early signs of labor"

"Well Calli, if you feeling anything, even if you don't think its nothing, you need to tell me and I will be ready in case you do", Leo said

"I'll be sure to do that", I said, smiling

Leo smiled and he looked down at my swollen plastron and he gave it a gentle rub and he leaned down and kissed it affectionately. I giggled and I rubbed his head softly as he stood up slowly and pecked my lips gently. "By the way I was just going to ask you", Leo said "Everyone wanted to go out and play football in the park, and I wanted to know if you wanted to come along and just watch"

"Sure", I said, smiling "I could use a little bit of fresh air and that could probably take my mind off of the pain a little bit"

Leo and I started walking towards the entrance to the lair, but I felt myself starting to lean forward and my footing became faster and faster with each step. I then lost my balance and fell on my side, then rolling over on my shell. Luckily I had landed on the rug we had in the living room or else that would of been a painful fall. "Woah Callista!", Leo said, rushing over, as he knelt down to me

"Haha somebody yell timber! We got another one that toppled over...again!", Raph said, teasing, laughing at me

"Oh zip it, I just lost my balance Raphael!", I said, sticking my tongue out

"You okay Calli?", Leo asked, helping me up

"Yep", I said, nodding my head

"Are you sure?", he asked "You are not hurt?"

"Oh no, perfectly fine", I said, smiling "No harm done"

I had to admit I did fall and trip a lot in this last week. And I don't quite move the best when I'm in my last trimester and near close to giving birth, so it just became very funny to us all. I then gave a wink towards the corner to the entrance of the lair and a foot came from the shadows. Without even seeing it, Raph had hit it and suddenly fell to the ground. Leo and I started laughing as we heard Raph groan and grunt in annoyance and in pain.

"Haha you did it!", I said, giggling "You tripped too!"

"You know what sometimes karma bites you right in the shell when you least expect it", he said, looking up at me with a smirk

"Thanks Mikey", I said, smiling

"Don't mention it", he said, laughing

"Come on you guys, let's get moving", Leo said

We started our way up out of the lair as we were heading down the tunnel towards Central Park. I was trailing behind everyone and just as I passed another tunnel that connected towards another part of the sewer, I heard a loud bang. The loudness of the sound startled me, making me jump back making me nearly fall in the sewer river. "Woah!", I said, stunned

"Calls you okay?", Raph asked, running up to me

"Yeah I'm fine, my that was a loud noise", I said, looking towards the tunnel

"What's that noise?", Leo asked

"I don't know", I said, shaking my head at him "It sounded like a gun shot"

"Maybe its the dragons again", Donnie said

"We should probably find out what it is, just to be on the safe side", I said "We really don't need dragons snooping around here trying to find headquarters"

"Okay, but you need to stay close", Leo said, sounding seriously "We don't want you getting snatched again"

"Will do", I said, nodding in agreement

"Alright fall in, quietly", Leo said, leading the way

We followed him into the dark tunnel, with me in between Raph and Leo standing behind them. We followed the sound that kept repeating to bang against something as we came towards a darker part of the sewer tunnels, that I don't think either of us have ever explored before. We then came upon a metal door that lead into a small area as we heard the bang again. "It's coming from in there", I said

"Well there is no one there, lets head out!", Mikey said, leaving

"Hold on Mikey we are not giving up that quickly!", Leo said, pulling him back by his arm "We need to find out what it is"

Raph went towards the metal door and tried pulling or pushing it open, but apparently it was not budging. It was probably locked from the inside. "This thing won't budge!", Raph said, tugging on the bars

"Allow me Raph", I said, gently pushing him aside

I grabbed the metal bars and with just one hard pull and tug I was able to break the door off of its hinges and I gently put it off to the side. The boys looked at me surprised and I giggled.

"Woah how did you-?", Raph asked, shocked

"Pregnancy strength", I said, showing off a muscle on my arm

I walked inside of the small area, with the others following behind me, and it was quite creepy. Even though there was a storm drain that did allow some dim lighting inside it was still frightening. There was a metal ladder that lead up to the drain and it was somewhat foggy. "This area is like a dungeon", Donnie said

"Yeah", Raph said

"Very creepy", I said

"Woah", Mikey said, softly

"Man what is this place?", Raph asked

"I don't know but the vibes are not good", Leo said, looking around

I then noticed a sheet covering something and I walked over towards it, getting on my knees. I slowly pulled up the sheet to where it revealed a cage and inside of it stunned us all. It was a small juvenile tortoise of some kind as it was trying to push through the bars to get free. "Woah!", I said, looking surprised

"What is that?", Raph asked, a bit loudly

"Shhh it's a tortoise Einstein", Donnie said, pushing him

"Oh it's scared, the poor little guy, who would do such a thing like this?", I said, unlatching the cage door

I reached inside the cage as I tried to get a hold of the tortoise inside and I tried to crawl quickly away from me as I grabbed the sides of its shell. "Hey you are okay baby, you are alright", I said, picking up the tortoise gently

I held it carefully in my arms and then Donnie knelt down in front of me as he examined the head of the tortoise turning its head to the side gently. "It's a Galapagos", he said

"You sure it's a Galapagos?", I asked

"Oh yes I'm sure of it just from the size and the looks of the shell", he said

"What is a tortoise doing way down here in a cage?", Raph asked

"Maybe someone could of abandoned it or maybe it fell down here like we did", Mikey said

"A turtle this size and a cage that heavy couldn't get caught in a sewer drift nor fit through a drain that size", I said "But you could be right on someone just abandoning it here in the sewers to die"

"Well from the looks of it, someone has been dealing with it and probably is still close by", Donnie said "It's not very common you would find an exotic species here in New York, except in a zoo"

"Yeah I mean you would find this species of tortoise on the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador in South America", I said

"Maybe she does possibly belongs to someone", Leo said

"It couldn't be possible, since this species is highly protected and not kept as pets", I said

Before I could say anything else, we heard a whip lash stabbing sound. I accidentally squeaked in a high pitch as my head whipped up to the sound. Luckily Donnie clasped his hand over my mouth to keep me quiet. We all looked up and saw it was a hunter's knife that stabbed a table and there was two men up above us. One was dressed in a black suit with the coat opened and black hat, but with an exotic jungle shirt underneath it. I couldn't get a good look of the other one, but he had crazy hair that stood out with something hanging from the side of his head and was wearing a long leather brown coat, khaki pants with a brown belt with a whip rolled up on the side of it and heavy brown boots.

"I realize here that this tortoise is a tad on the teeny size, but it's the little ones that put up the biggest fight", the one with the crazy hair said

"Mr. Bonesteel I'm sure I can get a suitable price, baby shell is very valuable on the black market but she only weighs five pounds", the other man said

"An illegal black market trade?", I said, softly "That's inhumane"

"Oh sure she is small, but she is spry", Bonesteel said "Course once I hogged tied her ma and pa she wasn't so spry"

"Yeah, yeah I would love to listen to your hunting stories, but I got a business to run here", the dealer said "I'll give you 500 American for her"

"500?!", Bonesteel said, sounding angry "Listen to me you sweat stain! I have hacked elephant ivory here from Timbuktu! I have brought you baby seal pelts, dolphin hides, and mountain gorilla skulls! I am Simon Bonesteel!"

He grabbed the dealer by the collar and turned him around where we could now see what he looked like form the front. He had kind of an Indiana Jones look to him, but was a whole lot crazier. "The greatest hunter on the face of this big blue marble and I won't settle for anything under 2000 dollars!", he said

"I'll give you 650!", the dealer said, offering him

He then grabbed his hand shaking it firmly once as he turned towards him. "Done! Mister you have just bought yourself an endangered species!", he said, walking towards the drain

"Back up!", I said, quietly

We quickly backed up getting out of view for the men and we saw Bonesteel was coming down into the sewers as he started to unhinge the drain.

"This guy is insane, you guys we got to get her out of here", I said, quietly

"Yeah come on, put her back inside the cage, we will carry her out", Donnie said, quietly

I gently put the tortoise back inside the cage, latching the door shut and Donnie picked up the cage carrying the tortoise out as we snuck out of the room. "Over there in the shadows!", Leo said, pointing

We quickly ran and hid up against the wall, hiding like the ninja shadow warriors we were as we saw the hunter come down the ladder. His boots stamped loudly against the concrete, echoing across the tunnel. I shivered against the wall in fear and I felt the warm and calming hand of Leo touching my arm bringing me closer to him. He hushed me quietly and I nodded silently as we watched the hunter walk around where the cage just was at from where we took it. "Well little money maker by this time tomorrow you are going to made into a lovely purse, or an ash tray or maybe even a jar of car wax!", he said

But once he looked where the cage was, he looked at it with anger. "What?!", he said "What little whipper snapper decided to take my prize away from me so I can't get my pay?!"

I gasped softly then started to feel a pain coming on and I squeezed Leo's forearm, trying to ease through it. Leo looked over at me and he rubbed my hand as I looked at him. "Baby what's wrong?", he asked, quietly

"I'm feeling a lot of pain, honey I think I'm in labor", I said, gritting my teeth

"How far apart are the contractions?", he asked

"A few minutes apart", I said, breathing softly "They are coming fast"

He took his hand into mine and I started squeezing it, feeling a small contraction pass through. "Just squeeze my hand and try to hang on, as soon as he leaves we are going to get you home okay?", he said, quietly

I nodded and I scrunched up in a ball, squeezing Leo's hand in my own feeling my muscles tighten. I didn't want to give away my family's position by making noises that I was in early labor and I had to keep everyone safe, including my baby and the tortoise we just saved. "I'll find you whoever you are and you will be sorry for messing with me!", Bonesteel said, looking around for us

He soon started to leave the tunnel where we hiding and we started to think that we could slip away back to the lair. "He is leaving we got to get out here, Calli needs to get home", Leo said, softly "She is in labor"

I grunted lowly in pain, feeling another contraction. "Oh my gosh", I said, squatting low to the ground

"Easy Calli", Donnie said, quietly rubbing my shell "Let's get you home"

"Okay, but be quiet he is still down there", I said, looking back at everyone

We started to make our way slowly out of the shadows going back the way we came towards the lair. We then heard the sound of heavy boots which caused us to look around frantically. "Shhh everyone be still!", Leo said, quietly

I stood still like a statute hanging on to Leo's shell for support, shivering on my legs. Unfortunately for us all Mikey looked like he was about to sneeze. "Ah...ah...ah", he said, with his head going back and forth

Raph turned behind him and he clamped his hand over Mikey's mouth so that the sneezing would stop, glaring. "Not a sound you got it?", he said, whispering

"I got it", Mikey said, pinching his nostrils

We then tried to continue on, hoping to leave the tunnel before the hunter would find us, but bad news struck us. "Achoo!", Mikey said, sneezing

"Mikey!", we said, in ushion annoyed

"Sorry", he said, innocently

The hunter then whipped around and he flashed a flashlight on us, causing us all to gasp and making him scream. "Run for it!", Leo yelled

We then started making a break for it, but the hunter shot sharp arrows in the ground, making us fall back. More arrows came out at us, but Leo stood boldly in front of us as he took out his sword and swung at the arrows breaking them in half. The hunter then put some kind of goggles around his head and looked at Leo. "Stay down", Leo said, quietly, looking slightly back at me "Try to sneak home if you can, I'll meet you there"

I nodded and I kept herself hidden in the shadows as my family faced the crazy hunter. "Wahoo! Zorro with a shell! Now I have heard alligators being seen in the sewers, but who give a turtle fencing lessons?", he said

I snuck behind the boys quietly making my way closer and closer towards the corner of the tunnel that lead to home. I groaned quietly in pain as I crawled on my hands and knees, trying not to give myself away. I held the cage with the baby tortoise in my hand tightly carrying it. As I made my way around Mikey quietly, I saw the hunter was distracted by Leo. I thought of it being a good opportunity to make a run for it while I had the chance. I started to quietly make my way out, before I could even just make a few steps, an arrow had caught barely missing my baby bump as I shrieked jumping back. "Now this is what I call a money maker", Bonsteel said, as he looked at me "That little one you are carrying will be even worth more than that little tortoise! You are going to make me quite a bargain!"

He then shot a net quickly out at me, but then Leo quickly ran in front of me with drawing out his sword slicing the net in half, glaring. "Sorry but she is not up for sale!", Leo said, angrily

"Leo, Donnie get Calli out of here! Get her back home! We will deal with this bozo!", Raph said, pulling out his sai's twirling them

"Oh you are not getting away that easily!", Bonesteel said, starting to shoot more arrows at us

"Duck!", Leo yelled, as he pushed me ahead

More arrows started coming flying at us as Donnie, Leo and I barely were able to dodge them as we ran down the tunnel back towards home. As we ran through the sewers, I started feeling my pain starting to escalate rapidly as my legs started to slow down from running. I suddenly felt a horrible pain in my belly and I started leaning forward, breathing heavily. I was able to catch myself on the wall and I felt a gush of water go running down my legs and I yelped in pain as I slid down the wall. "Leo! Donnie!", I said, nearly screaming

I saw Leo and Donnie come rushing over towards me as I started breathing heavily and quickly as I squatted against the wall. "Calli?! What's wrong?", Leo asked, kneeling down to me

"Are you hit?!", Donnie asked

"No", I said, shaking my head

I then felt more pain coming and I grunted as my eyes shut tightly and my hands went into fists. "Oh you guys", I said, panting "I think the baby is coming you guys, right now!"

"Oh gosh! Hold on Calli we will get you home!", Leo said

Leo picked me up bridal style and I groaned as I felt a contraction coming on. Donnie and Leo ran me home and I curled up in Leo's arms trying to deal with the unbearable pain. "Oh dear gosh!", I said, in pain "This hurts!"

"Here Calls", Donnie said

He gave me his hand and I took it quickly squeezing it hard, gritting my teeth trying hard to not push yet and Donnie yelped a little in pain as I breathed quickly. "Sorry", I said, trying not hurt him

"Just go with pain Calli", he said

I groaned in pain as I scrunched up in a ball, already feeling the need to push. "Leo!", I said, in pain with tears going down my face

"Hold on honey we are almost home!", Leo said, hugging me close

Leo continued to carry me through the sewers with Donnie by our side back towards the lair. We got back to the manhole cover and Leo quickly started climbing me down the ladder as I leaned against him, moaning and groaning. Donnie then jumped inside of the lair as I let out a yelp of pain feeling the contractions starting to get more intense by the second. "Here let's get her in the lab", Donnie said

I groaned in pain once again as Leo and Donnie ran with me into the lab. I saw the hospital bed and equipment was all ready for me for the delivery. Leo laid me down carefully in bed as he covered me up with a blanket to keep me warm. I sat up in bed gripping the side bars of the bed tightly, so tightly as my fingers turned chalk white. "Oh dear god this hurts!", I said, whimpering

Leo rubbed my shell and he took his hand into mine and he gave it a kiss. "It's okay Calli, you are going to be alright", he said "Just breathe"

I started breathing in and out through my mouth and I laid back down on the bed feeling a contraction and I yelped in pain. "Okay Calli let me see if you are dilated", Donnie said, bending my legs up as he checked me

"Okay", I said, letting out heavy breathes

I groaned in pain as my head fell back as I gripped Leo's hand tightly. Donnie then looked back up as he scooted the blanket up a bit on my legs and he put on latex gloves.

"Oh yeah you are definitely in labor Calli", Donnie said "You are ready to deliver right now"

"Now?! Oh god!", I said, frightened "Leo I'm scared!"

He kissed my forehead and he squeezed my hand. "It's okay I'm right beside you", he said "Everything is going to be okay, you are going to be okay"

I nodded quickly breathing fast, but then I felt a contraction and I yelped in pain as I leaned my head forward. "Oh my gosh!", I said, gritting my teeth

"Alright Calli on the count of three I need you to give me a big push okay?", Donnie said

"Okay I'll try", I said, breathing hard

"Okay one, two, three, push!", Donnie said

I grunted pushing hard. My eyes were shut tightly and my teeth clenched hard as I squeezed Leo's hand trying to get my baby out. I let out a heavy breath as I tried to regain my breathing and sweat was now pouring down my forehead. "You are doing great Calli, you are doing fantastic", Leo said, kissing my forehead

I smiled up to him, even though I was in pain regaining my breath , but then I felt more pain coming on and I screamed. "Okay Calls, keep pushing, we will see the baby soon", Donnie said "One, two, three, push!"

I leaned forward pushing hard as my hands balled up into fists and my breathing quickened as I tried to fight to push my baby out. After an hour's worth of pushing, I felt drained of all energy as my hand was still in Leo's tight grasp and I had sweat pouring down everywhere. My breathing was still quick as I was still trying to regain my breath from my last push. "Calli you are almost there, the baby is nearly out, we just need you to push hard one more time", Leo said

"Leo I can't, I just can't", I said, exhausted "I'm so tired"

"You can do it Calli!", Leo said, with a smile "One more push and we see our baby!"

I let out a few more quick breathes and I nodded taking his words and I smiled. "Alright Leo, I will do it", I said

"Ada girl", Leo said, smiling "Okay just do it one more time, very hard, okay?

"Okay", I said, nodding

"Alright Calli you can do it!", Donnie said "One, two, three push!"

I gripped Leo's hand tightly in mine and I let out a few deep breathes and I sat up pushing very hard and I let out a scream of pain, giving every last ounce of strength and energy I had left inside of me. I let out a huge breath of relief and I laid back on the bed exhausted and I was breathing heavily trying to catch my breath and I smiled with relief feeling every pain that I just had moments ago just melt away. My grip on Leo's hand released as I tried to regain back some energy from all that pushing. I looked up I then heard soft crying then it slowly got louder and I sat up in bed on my forearms, seeing Leo with Donnie and I saw being lifted up by Donnie my baby crying.

Leo then looked back at me with a smile. "It's a little girl", he said

I gasped softly in surprise. "I don't believe it! It's a girl?", I asked, stunned

Leo cut the umbilical cord with scissors and Donnie quickly took our crying daughter away to get her cleaned up."I can't believe we threw a girl", I said, looking at Donnie walking away stunned "I thought we were going to have a boy"

Leo then pulled me into a hug, kissing my forehead and I hugged him back exhausted. "Good job Calli, you did great!", Leo said, smiling

"Thank you Leo", I said, tiredly trying to catch my breath

"Hey guys", Donnie said

We both looked up and we saw Donnie carrying our daughter wrapped in a silk green blanket, crying softly. "Here she is, your little girl", Donnie said

Donnie then handed down to me my newborn daughter as I heard her crying. I held her close to my heart and wrapped her more in her blanket and I hushed her softly, holding her small hand into my own gently.

"Shhhh it's okay honey, it's alright", I said, softly trying to calm her down

I leaned down towards my crying daughter and I kissed her small snout softly, soothing her with a soft humming lullaby. Our baby then began to slowly settle down from crying as I hummed to her softly. "There, there now it's okay", I said "Mommy and Daddy are here"

She then began to coo softly as I stroked her head. I smiled as the trick worked and I picked up my baby more in my arms and began to look her over. Our daughter was so beautiful. She had a light shade of jade skin and had a little bit of blonde coloring in her shell like my own. She was so tiny. She fitted perfectly in my hands. I brought our baby closer to me and I held her under her arms and I kissed her snout softly, then I rested her against my chest. I carefully kept her warm with my arms wrapped around her softly as she settled down. As I looked at my newborn daughter I thought she was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life and what the best thing about this was, that I was her mother and she was my daughter. I felt my tears of joy go streaming down her fast as she snuggled her head in my chest.

"Hey there beautiful", I said, crying softly, stroking her shell "You are finally here. It's me, your mother. How Daddy and I waited so anxiously to meet you. You are even more beautiful than I what imagined. Your father and I love so much with all our hearts and we can't believe that you are our daughter"

Our baby shifted in my arms and let out a little coo and her little hand reached up and they grabbed a hold of my thumb with her tiny hand. I cried more with tears flowing down my cheeks, so happy and overjoyed that I am mother to a little girl. "You okay?", Leo asked, rubbing my shoulder

I nodded crying. "I am just...overwhelmed with emotion", I said, wiping away a few tears "It's just so...amazing"

Our baby let out a little yawn as her other little hand rubbed against her cheek and Leo and I looked at her with awe. "Is she what you wanted?", Leo asked, softly

I nodded. "More than what I wanted", I said, softly "I can't believe that this really happening"

I looked up towards Leo and we gave each other a gentle kiss before we returned our attention back towards our daughter.

"What do you want to name her?", Leo asked

"Well, she is like our little light", I said "Who showed up in our lives and will bring light and happiness to everyone's hearts, so I think maybe her name should be Eleanora, which means little shining light"

"Eleanora", Leo said, softly "It's perfect. It's beautiful for her"

Eleanora shifted in my hands and we both smiled lovingly down to her. "I think that's her way of telling us that she likes her name", Leo said, softly

I giggled and I kissed her forehead and stroked the back of her head delicately. "Eleanora Marie Hamato", Leo said "A perfect name for our little girl and the next leader of our clan"

"But we can call her Ellie, just for short", I said, smiling up to him

"That is perfectly fine with me", he said, smiling back

We both leaned in and kissed each other softly for a moment, then we both looked down at Ellie.

Leo's Pov...
Just looking at my daughter was the greatest thing I could ever imagine happening to me in my life. Sure meeting and marrying Callista was a very great that happened to me as well, but this moment was just as perfect as that night I married my wife. Right now I felt like the proudest father in the world to have a perfect little baby girl, resting in Calli's arms. I sat down beside Calli on the bed and I knelt down over where I was face to face with my daughter.

"Hey Ellie, welcome to the world", I said, softly

Ellie cooed and she moved around in Calli's arms as she heard my voice as if she was trying to find me, since she hasn't opened her eyes yet. I reached out to her with my hand and her little hand gripped my finger, so she could find me easier. When she did with her tiny little hand she relaxed against Calli's chest and a little smile formed on her face. I smiled at her lovingly and my hand slowly stroked the back of her head and shell and she smiled more as if she knows who I am already.

"Do you want to hold her?", Calli asked, softly

"May I?", I asked

"Of course you can", she said "You are her father and I'm sure she wants to meet you"

I smiled and I reached over and I slid my hand under Ellie's head and the other under her shell. As I brought her up closer to me, she moved her little arms cooing softly. I hushed her softly as I brought her closer to me. I then moved my arm underneath the bottom of her shell as I supported her up with my other hand on top of her shell. I looked at her for a few moments, just looking at her, how beautiful she really looked and how tiny she was. I then kissed her forehead gently. "Hi Ellie", I said, softly

Ellie cooed as she rubbed her face against my chest, and then she slowly looked back up to me. I gasped softly as Ellie's eyes had finally opened, revealing beautiful dark blue eyes, just like Callista. As her eyes met mine, she smiled up to me happily as if she already knows who I am and she cooed, shifting in my arms. "Oh she recognizes you", Calli said, lovingly "She knows your voice, she knows you are her father"

As I looked at Ellie, a vision came to my eyes. Ellie was a little girl sitting in a forest on a rock just above a soft flowing river, stroking her hand through the water and she giggled seeing little fish jump out at her and splashed her with water. I then saw myself coming over a hill "Ellie!", I called out

She looked back at me and smiled happily, seeing me. "Coming Daddy!", she called out

She then began to run towards me as I smiled walking a bit closer towards her. As Ellie continued to run towards me slowly, she began to change in age. She ran towards me as a young five year old then as she got closer she grew into a teenager, then as she got even closer she then became a young adult. As I came up to her walking, she jumped in my arms as I chuckled catching her and I spun her around a few times, as she giggled. I stopped as we hugged each other close, and then Ellie pulled away and looked at me with a smile. "I love you sweetheart", I said

"I love you too Daddy, always have always will, no matter what", she said

As the vision began to end, I saw Ellie's dark blue eyes as an adult starting to quickly age back towards her small dark blue eyes as a newborn in my arms. I felt my heart stop beating of seeing what there is to come over the next many years of Ellie growing up, seeing how beautiful she would be and how she was like as I held her in my arms. Ellie cooed as she looked up towards me with a small smile and I looked at her with awe. She then pulled herself up on my chest and her tiny arms hugged around my face. Her little hug was full of love and warmth and I felt tears quickly flow down my cheeks as I wrapped my hand around her shell pressing her against me, hugging her back as I kissed her snout softly.

"Oh Leo she already loves you", Calli said, softly

I looked at her with a smile and I looked back at my daughter, who pulled away from my face and she placed her tiny hand on my cheek. I nuzzled her head softly and she nuzzled back as I kissed her cheek and rubbed her shell. I walked back over towards Calli and handed Ellie back down into her arms as Calli and I gave each other an affectionate kiss. Donnie then came in from the doorway of the lab and looked back at us. "Hey the guys are home, do you want them to meet her?", he asked

Calli and I both smiled. "It's okay, bring them in", I said

Donnie then looked back out from the lab. "Alright guys you may come in but be quiet", he said

Calli's Pov...
I shifted Ellie in my arms and wrapped her in her blanket more as Mikey and Raph came inside of the lab with Donnie trailing behind them. "Hey guys", I said, smiling softly "Glad you could make it"

"Hey sis how are you feeling?", Mikey asked, walking over "We heard about what happened"

"Okay, just really tired, but okay thanks", I said

I then felt a shift in my arms. I looked down seeing Ellie was turning on her side towards Mikey as she cooed with me looking back up at him. Mikey's face then formed a huge grin as Ellie looked at him curiously. "Awwww she is so cute sissy!", he said, adoringly

"Thank you", I said, smiling

"What is her name?", he asked

"Leo and I decided on the name Eleanora", I said "But we all may call her Ellie for short"

"She is adorable! She is the cutest thing I ever seen!", he said, happily

I giggled and I shifted Ellie up more in my arms. "Would you like to hold her?", I asked

"May I?", he asked, excitedly

"You may, but you need to be very careful though", I said, with a bit of a serious tone "She is quite delicate"

"Oh okay then", he said, sounding a bit nervous

I carefully passed Ellie over towards her uncle. Very quickly he went from excitement to actually nervous, as he held Ellie in his arms, shaking a little. "It's okay Mikey you are doing great", I said, reassuring him

It looked like he was holding his breath when Ellie then looked up at him with an expression I couldn't identify so well. But that expression then changed when we heard Ellie give a small giggle and she reached with her tiny hands and grabbed Mikey's thumb and was sucking on the end. Mikey smiled a little at the corners of his mouth as Ellie tried to eat at the digit. Then the grin that he had before when he saw her returned as his fears vanished into nothing. "Hey Ellie, you are so cute", he said, softly "I promise to protect and love you with my life and be the most awesome uncle ever"

I laughed lightly. "Oh that's sweet of you Mikey, I'm sure she loves you too", I said

Raph looked over his shoulder and he looked down at her with a small smile. "Yeah she is rather cute for such a little one", he said

"You want to hold her to Raph?", I asked, looking up at him

"You sure I can Calls?", he asked, sounding a bit unsure

"Yes I'm sure Raph, here, take her", I said, smiling

Mikey handed Ellie over towards Raph and he took her ever so carefully. Like he was so worried that he would of hurt her with the strength that he had in his large arms. But he was now taking it in strive when he rested Ellie on top of his forearms, cradling her close to him. There was a little bit of a long silence between the meeting of Raph and Ellie as he was just looking down at her softly smiling. Ellie then raised her small arm and touched Raph's cheek with her soft and tiny hand. Even though it was hardly noticeable by anyone else in the family, I saw that a single tear had fallen out from the corner of his eye. I knew deep down inside he was really touched, that he was seeing and holding his niece for the first time.

"She has your eyes Calls", he said "But she has Leo's smile"

I smiled and little Ellie looked at Raph's mask tails and she reached up with her little arms and she began tugging on them gently. "I had an instinct that she would have Leo's strength", I said, giggling

Raph's face formed a little smile as he looked down at little Ellie, who tugging on his mask tails repeatedly harder and harder. "Oh really? Well from the looks of what she is doing now you are right", he said, as Ellie tugged harder on his mask tails making his head curved more and more down towards her

"Hey a mother's instinct is never wrong", I said, shrugging giggling

Leo then came walking over towards Raph and Ellie. "Okay Ellie I think Uncle Raph has had enough", he said, chuckling gently removing her hands from his mask tails and taking her in his arms

"How is that tortoise by the way? Is she okay?", I asked, remembering about before

"She is just fine sissy", Donnie said "I checked her for any complications and she seems in perfect health"

"Yeah we were able to get her back here with some time on our side", Mikey said

"What about that crazy hunter?", I asked

"We have a feeling he is going to be back", Raph said "This time not just for that little tortoise there, but now all of us"

"Don't worry about it, we will be alright", I said "But in the meantime, we need to keep that tortoise safe until we can figure out something to do with her and keep our daughter away from him"

"Yeah she will be an easy target", Raph said

"He won't get a hold of her", Leo said, pulling Ellie closer to his chest "Not on my watch he isn't"

"Let's not worry about it tonight", I said "We alluded him for a little while, besides we should be happy right now. We saved the tortoise from a certain fate and we now have a new member of our clan"

Ellie cooed catching everyone's attention as Leo chuckled, bouncing her a little. "What was that?", Leo asked, looking at Ellie

She cooed again, making all of us chuckle, as she looked at her father with a smile. "I think she is telling me we should listen to her", Leo said, smiling "She is here now and we should be happy that she is finally apart of the family"

"That sounds sensible", Donnie said. smiling softly

"I thought I heard voices in here", someone said

We then turned and saw our father Splinter come walking into the lab with his cane in his paw."Master Splinter", I said, smiling "It's good to see you, we were wondering when you were going to come"

"What's going on?", he asked, walking in

"Oh it's a long story Splinter", I said, giggling "But while you are here, there is someone we think you should meet"

"And who might that be?", he asked

I turned towards Leo and he came slowly walking up with our newborn daughter in his arms. "Your granddaughter, Eleanora", Leo said

Splinter turned towards the direction to Leo's voice and instantly you could see the awe glow brightly in Splinter's eyes, seeing his granddaughter for the first time. He slowly began walking towards Leo, meeting each other half way. You could tell Splinter looked overwhelmed with emotion as Ellie began making little coos as they both stopped when they came close to each other.

Splinter's Pov...
As Leonardo handed me my granddaughter, I felt a memory was repeating itself. When I first held my daughter Miwa in my arms, I felt the happiest man alive knowing that Tang Shen and I had brought her into our lives. How her chestnut brown eyes and short black silk hair looked identical to my wife Tang Shen. She was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen next to my wife. But as I looked at Eleanora, seeing her beautiful dark blue eyes and loving smile like Callista's, it was somehow the same of much my granddaughter looks like her mother.

Eleanora cooed softly and she smiled up to me. I struggled to hold back my tears as Eleanora reminded me of Miwa. How she had brought happiness into my world and now my granddaughter has returned what I had lost before. "My granddaughter", I said, softly "You are beautiful. You are destined to do great things someday. I know in my heart and soul you will lead successfully the next generation of the Hamato Clan"

In my paw I held a tiny lotus flower and I held it above Eleanora as she smiled and cooed reaching out for it. I chuckled softly and I released it slowly down towards her. She giggled as she reached up with her small arms and she brought it to her in her little hands. She sniffed in the scent of the flower which made her sneeze. I looked down at her with a loving smile as I gently caught the flower and brought it back to her.

Eleanora had settled down in my arm as she yawned curling up against me, hugging the lotus flower in her arms close to her. My paw gently went around her small head and I held her close to my beating heart. I rocked her gently against me as she snuggled closer in my robe, cooing softly and smiling just like her mother. "You have both created a beautiful dear child, I see only the best is yet to come from your daughter", I said

Leonardo and Callista smiled. "Thank you sensei, your words are cherished by us both", Callista said "For I see a relationship between you and your granddaughter is already starting to blossom"

I smiled proudly towards my daughter and I looked down at my granddaughter one last time, kissing her head gently. I then handed her back to my son Leonardo and looked at the rest of my family. "This certainly has been a life changing night for all of us", I said "But now we must leave Callista to let her rest"

Calli's Pov...
After everyone left the lab, after giving me a caring hug congratulating us on Ellie's birth, leaving Leo, Ellie and I alone, Leo came back over with Ellie in his arms and he sat down beside me. I smiled on how Leo was smiling down at Ellie, who was looking up to him with cute giggles and smile.

"So how does it feel to be a dad?", I asked

"There is just no words how to describe it", Leo said, softly shaking his head "It feels...amazing"

I smiled and Leo kissed Ellie's forehead. Ellie smiled up to him and she cooed. "I think we should feed her before we go to bed", I said

"That would be a good idea", he said

On right on cue Ellie started opening and closing her mouth and started sucking on her hand. "I guess she agrees too", I said, giggling

Leo handed me Ellie as he climbed off the bed and he went to a table in the lab with a few baby supplies we needed for Ellie overnight and Leo started preparing her formula bottle. He shook it up as he came walking back over to us. I smiled as Ellie started cooing seeing Leo coming back over and started reaching out. I smiled as Leo handed her bottle to me and Ellie grabbed on to it immediately and started feeding. "Oh you were hungry huh?", I said

"It's like Mikey when he is hungry", Leo said

I giggled and Ellie finished after a few minutes and she had milk formula all over cheeks and mouth. "Baby", I said, giggling

Ellie smiled and cooed happily and I smiled lovingly. "You got a very messy face", I said, smiling

She giggled and started sucking on her on hand. Leo and I chuckled and he took a cloth and wiped her face with it gently. "There all cleaned up", he said, smiling

Ellie smiled then she yawned sleepily as she rubbed her eyes. We both smiled and her eyes slowly started to flutter close. "Looks like someone is sleepy", Leo said, softly

I yawned sleepily. "Someone is", I said, tiredly "Me"

Leo chuckled and I smiled sleepily to him. "Looks like I got two sleepy babies", he said

I giggled and Ellie yawned and she cooed snuggling into my chest, falling asleep. Leo and I looked down at Ellie softly as she started sucking on her hand sleeping peacefully. "You did good Calli", Leo said "I'm so proud of you"

"No", I said, looking at him "We both did good. We both created her."

Leo smiled and we gave each other a peck. I looked back down at Ellie and I gave her a gentle hug, stroking her head.

"Goodnight my precious daughter, Ellie", I said, softly kissing her forehead

Leo gently put Ellie in her small bed beside ours and Leo kissed her forehead goodnight. "Good night my little girl", he said, softly

I smiled at him lovingly and he turned off the light switch behind the bed and the lights went out except for a small soft lamp above the bed. Leo turned over to where he was laying facing me and we gave each other a peck. "Love you", Leo said, softly

"Love you too", I said, softly

I yawned as we both fell asleep against each other, happy that now our daughter is here with us and we are now parents.

Leo's Pov...
As I slept on through the night, I just started hearing whimpering and I soon heard soft crying. My eyes shot open and saw Ellie was moving around in her bed. I uncovered myself from the blanket and I looked over at Ellie. I then heard a shift in the bed and I saw Calli yawning softly and she was about to get up out of bed, but I placed my hand on her shoulder.

"It's okay", I said, softly "I will take care of her"

"I really don't mind", she said

"You have done enough today", I said, kissing her forehead "You need to rest"

Calli smiled sleepily. "Okay then, thank you", she said, kissing my lips "I'll get the next one"

I kissed her back and I stroked her head and she slowly laid back down and went back to sleep. I slid out of bed and I walked over to Ellie as she was crying and I hushed her softly and I grabbed her little hand into mine and she immediately stopped crying. I smiled down at her softly and she looked up at me with her little sleepy eyes.

"There, there", I said, softly "It's okay Daddy is here"

I slowly reached out to her with my hands and Ellie cooed softly as she moved her little hands. I slid my hands under her head and shell and I brought her up to me. I kissed her forehead very gently and I rested her head against my shoulder and I rubbed her shell softly and rested my head against her's. "What's wrong Ellie?", I asked, softly "You can't sleep honey?"

Ellie cooed and she snuggled closer to my neck and she looked up to me sleepily, as if she was answering me. She did look rather tired and I think she was just having some trouble falling asleep. I smiled down at her softly of knowing what to do. "Here I think I know one way to help", I said, softly

I took the soft green blanket from Ellie's bed and I wrapped it carefully around her to keep her warm and I held her closer to me. I rocked Ellie slowly in my arms as I started walking around the lab quietly. I started humming softly as I pressed my head against Ellie's gently and I softly started to sing a lullaby to her.

When I finished singing the song, Ellie had fallen asleep in my arms with a small smile on her face. I smiled as the trick worked. The song I sang for Ellie was one that Calli was singing to Ellie when she was still inside her and she would nuzzle up against my hand and give a little kick shifting around in her sleep.

"Daddy's got you", I said, softly

Ellie cooed softly in her sleep and her little hands gripped my thumb and she started suckling on it gently. I smiled lovingly down to her and she smiled suckling on my thumb. I kissed her forehead gently and she cooed as she nuzzled her head against my face.

"My little girl", I said, softly "I'm really blessed that you are my daughter and you are now apart of my life. I can't wait to do all those little things together as you grow. I will teach you how to be a kunoichi just like your mother. I will show you what it takes to be a good ninja leader. Even though I have my flaws that is okay, no leader is perfect. It will be awhile before you learn Ninjistu, but for now you can be my little baby girl. I know you are going to want to do big things one day and I can see it already. Whatever your little heart and mind wants to be in life, I will be there every step of the way to help succeed and achieve your dream"

Ellie cooed softly and shifted in her sleep and I smiled lovingly as if she heard me talking to her and she was talking back. I hugged her close to me and I walked back over to the bed and laid down next to Calli. Ellie grabbed on to my hand that was around her head with her tiny finger and she pulled it close to her. I felt my heart warming up to her gentle touch. I thought everything in my life is just how I wanted, how every wish came true. Not only is the love of my Callista is my wife, but now I'm the father to a beautiful baby girl. I felt Ellie kiss my finger with her mouth and she snuggled her head on it and I felt my heart stop beating as I let tears fall down my face, looking down at her with a joyful smile. As she snuggled towards my heart, she now has made it bigger, because she is now a huge portion of it. She is my everything.

"I promise I won't let anything happen to you...my little Ellie", I said, softly, as I held her close to my heart
