Calli's Pov...
It was around three in the morning and the whole lair was as quiet as a mouse. Which meant there was no loud snoring coming from Mikey's room. Not even the sound of Leo's breathing softly against me could break the silence. Or so I thought when I started to hear whimpers that started to get louder by the second. I groaned groggily rubbing my eyes open and I looked over my shoulder to see Eleanora kicking her little legs and arms around. I quickly moved Leo's arm off around my waist and slid out of bed and rushed over towards Ellie.
I gently picked her up as I laid her against my chest wrapping her up in her blanket and rushed her out of the bedroom, not wanting to disturb Leo and let him sleep. He was doing so well with our daughter, taking over nighttime feedings, offering to take over to give me or her uncles a break to watch over her, and getting her to sleep at night. The day after Ellie was born, Leo didn't even want me to hold her they bonded immediately. Leo has absolutely been the best dad ever, Ellie just has him wrapped around her little finger.
Anywhere he went Ellie was quick to follow him, almost like a puppy. But I always had time to spend with my little girl. She was just as active as me and my energy was plenty big enough to keep up with her.
"Oh sweetie what's the matter?", I said, hushing her softly while rocking her "Are you hungry?"
Ellie's answer was her continued whimpers as she looked up to me tiredly with her pink pacifier in her mouth, making little baby noises signifying that she was irritated. "Okay honey", I said, smiling
I went into the kitchen and heated up a bottle for Ellie in the warmer as I walked around with her in my arms, soothing her cries as I waited for the milk to heat up. "Shhhhhh don't worry sweet pea, it's almost done", I said, rubbing her head gently kissing it "Nearly there"
Ellie was growing more irritated as she began to wriggle in my arms, but I sighed in relief hearing the timer go off and I grabbed the bottle out of the warmer. I turned Ellie over on her shell as she immediately latched on and began to nurse. I shut of the light in the kitchen and I began to rock her side to side as Ellie settled down. I then started to sing her a soft lullaby that I made up myself.

Ellie's dark blue eyes began to slowly close as I hummed to her softly as she finished nursing and made cute little baby noises. I gently pushed her pacifier back in her mouth as her little head fell slowly against my chest, and her eyes finally closed as she fell asleep. "Goodnight my little ayame", I said, kissing her temple gently
I walked quietly back into the bedroom, closing the door softly to see Leo was undisturbed by my presence entering inside. As I turned to put Ellie back in her crib, I had looked down at her and she just looked so peaceful as she slept in my arms. Her silk green blanket swaddled her in a soft and warm embrace as she laid her head on my forearm, sucking quietly on her pacifier.
My heart and eyes softened as I could hear her make the cutest little snores as she slept on. I knew I couldn't disturb her in her peaceful state as she smiled slightly, making me think she was having a good dream, by moving her. So I decided that for tonight it could be an exception. I kept Ellie in my arms as I walked towards my side of the bed.
I moved my pillows up against the bed frame and I climbed up in bed covering my legs up with the blanket. I laid back against the pillows as Ellie turned on her side towards me and her little hand rested against my chest. My fingers tenderly brushed against her face and tiny arms, already have to have memorize every little detail of my baby. She has my eyes and my shell color and she has Leo's snout and smile, but the one thing she had of both of us was a mix of my light jade skin with Leo's forest green skin.
She was just the most beautiful little baby girl in the world to me.
As I could feel sleep was starting to take over me again after being up for nearly almost an hour, I pulled Ellie closer to my chest wrapping her in a secure hug, giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead. I slowly began to fall asleep with a smile on my lips.
I awoke a few hours later and I looked over to see it had just turned eight in the morning and I could hear the sound of the griddle sizzling outside and the voices of news reporters on the T.V coming from outside the bedroom. Luckily the sounds were muffled behind the thick walls and door. I looked over seeing Leo was fast asleep on his plastron sprawled out, with one arm hanging off the bed snoring softly.
I giggled and I gave his shell a gentle rub covering him up more with the covers. I looked down at Ellie seeing she was too still fast asleep in my arms, cooing softly. My hand gently began to stroke her shoulder and back of her head in circles. Ellie began to stir at my touch as she cooed moving around in my arms and her little eyes fluttered open and looked up.
"Hey baby girl", I said, quietly giving her a sweet smile
She smiled tiredly up at me as she stretched her little arms and right leg as she settled back down. I think she grew overnight. Her little feet were now hanging over my arm. Ellie was quite tall for a one year old, either she gets it from her father or I'm just feeding her too much.
"Sleep good honey?", I asked, giving her head a kiss
Ellie cooed in response as she placed her hands on my cheeks. I nuzzled her snout softly as she giggled. I smiled and I then heard a yawn. I turned to my side to see Leo was waking up turning over facing me. I smiled as his brown eyes fluttered open. "Morning sleepy head", I said, smiling
He yawned again, rubbing his eyes with his hand. "Morning honey", he said
Ellie rolled over in my arms as she crawled out of them landing beside Leo as she sat in front of him. As soon as he stopped he looked at Ellie with a warm loving smile. "Hey Green Bean, good morning to you too", he said, stroking the side of her head
"You know that could be her nickname, Green Bean", I said, turning towards them
"You think?", Leo asked
"Well we have been trying to find her one for the past few months", I said "I think it fits her well"
"Well then Green Bean it will be", Leo said, with a smile
I smiled and Ellie climbed on top of her father as he laid on his shell and brought her up to him under her arms and kissed her cheek. "Did you grow bigger overnight or is Mama feeding you too much again?", Leo asked, looking down at her seeing her little legs were now at the edge of Leo's thighs
"That's what I thought too", I said, giggling
"Speaking of feeding, I'm starving", Leo said
I giggled. "Me too, and from the sounds coming outside, I can tell Mikey is making pancakes this morning", I said
"Mmmmmmmm my favorite", Leo said, rolling out of bed
I smiled and I slid out of bed as Leo grabbed Ellie resting her on top of his arm. "Come on sweetheart", Leo said, kissing her forehead
I came out of the bedroom door with close behind me with Ellie as we joined the family for breakfast. After that we had a day of relaxation, since there was no training today. I was finally able to catch up on my latest chapter in my romance novel "How to Treat a Lady" by Karen Hawkins. Ellie was playing on the floor in front of me on the couch. Donnie was at his desk next to the living room working on his computer and Mikey was on his usual bean bag playing a mobile video game. I was curious to know what Leo was doing since he had be coming back in and out of the living room with cinder blocks.
"What is it exactly you are trying to do Leo?", Mikey asked, looking up from his game
"It's an exercise in mental and physical discipline", he said, carrying in a cinder block
"With three cement blocks?", he asked
"Yep just here we go", Leo said, placing the last block on top of the other two
I got a look of curiosity as I watched from the couch with Ellie on the floor, playing with her chewing rings. "This I got to see", Mikey said, standing up beside the blocks
"Watch and learn", Leo said
I then heard a spark zap and smoke rise in the air and Donnie shrieked a bit as he working at his desk. "Yikes wrong wire", he said, fanning away the smoke, putting his glasses above his head
"Careful Donnie, you don't want to electrocute yourself", I said
"Been there done that Calls, I'll be alright", he said, with a smile
"You are going to bust your head Leo", Mikey said
I turned my attention back to Leo and Mikey. "No Mikey I'm going to break the bricks", Leo said
"Hey Calli, looks like Leo is going to turn his noodle into strudel", Mikey said, laughing
"Mikey, Leo didn't fall off no turnip wagon, he wouldn't do something that stupid", I said, with a cocked eyebrow and smirk
"Yeah Mikey you don't break the bricks with your head", Leo said, nudging him "You break the bricks with your will. Breaking the bricks is about focus and making a precise strike!"
"Wallah! Dudes and dudettes we are satellite positive!", Donnie said, cheerfully
Leo was about to do an attack, but was interrupted of his concentration from Donnie talking. "Awww man right at that one moment of pure confidence and strength", he said, annoyed
"Hey guys, come dig my turtlfied eye in the sky", Donnie said
"What do you mean little bro? What's going on?", I asked, getting up from the couch
We gathered around Donnie seeing a map over New York City moving around. "What do you got Donnie? Some kind of experiment you are working on?", I asked
"Not exactly sissy, I have just made our own tracking device using satellite", Donnie said
"Woah that is cool", I said, surprised "How did you do that?"
"I tweak our tracking program, our body temperatures and physical configurations", he said "I have even colored coated it, watch and be amazed"
He had hit a key and colored spots appeared on the screen. "Aren't you a little old for connect the dots dude?", Mikey said, in a teasing manner
"The grid is showing our precise locations", Donnie said "I'm the purple one blip, Leo is the blue blip, Calli is the pink blip and you are the obnoxious orange blip"
"Hey!", he said
I giggled with Leo chuckling along with me. "So this can track us anywhere? No matter what", I asked
"No matter where or what sissy", Donnie said "Even if its underground or inside a locked safe, it will track and find you"
"That is awesome", I said, with a smile
"Now let's see where Raph is at", Donnie said, typing away
"Probably in trouble somewhere", Leo said, crossing his arms
"No surprisingly not", Donnie said, as he found Raph's location as it came moving closer and closer to our locations
"Mmmmmmm looks like he is home from his ride", I said, looking back at the entrance seeing lights and hearing a roaring motor
It then went quiet as Raph jumped inside taking off his helmet. "Man what a rush!", he said, wiping his forehead of sweat
"I'm assuming you had a good ride?", I asked
"An adrenaline rush like no other", he said "Riding like I was on a cop chase"
I giggled and smiled. "Funny, hopefully that didn't really happen", I said
"Protein shake made Calli?", he asked, putting his helmet on the rack
"In the fridge", I said, smiling
"Yes!", he said, rushing towards the kitchen
I giggled. "Well at least it wasn't trouble", Leo said "Does Splinter and Eleanora have tracking too?"
"Yes they have dignified blips as well", Donnie said "I got a green one for Ellie and a gray one for Splinter"
He then hit a key as it showed Ellie position behind us and Splinter's in the dojo. "This way we will always know where we are at all times in case of any emergency situations", Donnie said
"That's a good idea Donnie", I said
"Only kind I have", he said, with a smile
Later on in the afternoon, I was doing my daily meditation in the dojo while Ellie was taking her afternoon nap. Leo was in the kitchen doing the dishes cleaning up a bit, while the boys were off doing their own things.
I then heard the soft patting and shuffling of little hands hitting against the wooden floor, but it stopped as I heard coos and little giggles. A smile crept on my face as I heard the patting and shuffling continue on till it got louder and louder while I continued on with my meditation. I then felt little hands hit me on the back of my shell and I chuckled to myself quietly keeping still.
I then felt my chest constrict as I felt my little girl climbing up my shell using the strap around my shell to help her. She then sat on the back of my neck and pulled at the back of my bandanna with her little fists. My eyes opened as I looked up at her as she looked down at me with a smile. "Hey my little goofball, what are you doing up there?", I asked, chuckling "I thought you were sleeping"
Ellie then pulled on my mask tails as she leaned back pulling my head back, letting a playful grunt. I then felt Ellie lean over towards the side as she fell off my shoulder and began swinging laughing back and forth, turning my bandanna over my eyes. "Come here you!", I said, grabbing her
Ellie laughed as I laid back on my shell and flew her around in the air holding her up in my hands, throwing her up in the air catching her a few times. I then brought her down to me kissing her plastron a few times as she laughed kicking her little arms and legs as I chuckled seeing her smile. I sat back up as she slid down my chest and landed in my lap as she giggled.
"What are you doing?", I said, looking down at her with a smile "You are climbing over me like a little monkey"
Ellie babbled while sucking on her hand, drooling all over it, pulling it out of her mouth. I chuckled and I picked her up under her arms nuzzling her snout gently. Ellie immediately latched her tiny arms around my face in a tight hug. I then felt everything just stop and the room around me was more quiet than ever.
The feeling of her arms around made me feel alive. I never imagined that I would ever have my own child that I can be able to hold in my own arms. I never thought it would happen. I have seen people on the T.V and on the streets during patrol have their own children walking beside them holding their parents hands or being held in secured arms. It always made me wonder if that would ever happen to me one day.
I couldn't quite know why, it sounds odd saying back then but when I was thirteen I wanted to be a mother one day. I never mentioned it to those who I knew face to face. All I know is that deep down in my heart of hearts I wished for the day that I become a mother. To have a child, a being that I helped bring into the world, there's just nothing else I'd rather have in life. Well that and my handsome husband.
I thought of it being a fairy tale that kept replaying in my mind, that possibly wouldn't come true, but with Leo we made it happen. It just took the right man and the right time to make it all happen. While I was still pregnant with Ellie, I kept thinking it was a dream that I wasn't waking up from but watching Ellie growing each day bigger and bigger inside of me and soon being born, that dream was now reality.
"I'm always going to be there to protect you, okay?", I said, softly
She gave me a confused look, not understanding what I just said. But I smiled knowing she was too young and that when she is older she will know what I mean. "It's okay, you will understand someday", I said, hugging her close
She cuddled into my chest, but then I heard heavy shakes above my head. I looked up to see the ceiling was releasing bits of dust into the air as I pulled Ellie closer to me. "Calli did you hear that?", Leo asked, as he stood in the doorway
"Yeah what was that?", I asked
"I don't know, but we better take a look", he said
"Right, gear up, I'm going to get Ellie settled", I said
Leo rushed off towards the bedroom for weapons and I got Ellie into her playpen in the living room. I quickly grabbed my sword that was on the table in the kitchen from cleaning it up earlier and I sheathed it behind me. "Ready?", Leo asked, as he came up to me, tossing a few smoke bombs
I caught them in my hand and placed them into the side of my belt beside my cellphone. "Ready, let's go", I said "I'm right behind you"
As Leo took off I gave Ellie a kiss on her head as she was playing with her blocks, unaware of what was going on. "We will be right back honey bun, you stay here", I said
Ellie continued on playing ignoring me as I ran out of the lair behind Leo. We snuck up the ladder as we heard the rumbles get louder shaking the tunnel. "Stay close", Leo whispered
I nodded and I snuck behind him as we turned the corner pulling out our swords slowly. We heard the rumbles getting louder and louder each second and we gave each other determined looks. We then jumped out showing our weapons off, but to our surprise there was no one there. We lowered our swords as we looked around confused. "It stopped", I said
"That's strange, there is no one here", Leo said
I then got a kunoichi sense as I felt a presence. "Leonardo, bakkufurippu!", I said
Leo heard what I said and we suddenly flipped back as two long blades came crashing down striking at the concrete, before they could of stabbed us in the heads. "Good call hun!", Leo said, panting
Suddenly dragons jumped from the ceiling growling as they held the weapons and more and more appeared from tunnels, in the river, and down a manhole cover. "That's a lot of dragons", I said
They stood around waiting and growling lowly. "What are they waiting for?", I asked, softly
"For a command", Leo whispered
We backed our shells into each others and held our swords tightly in our grasps. "Well turtles, it's a pleasure to see you once again", Dragon Lord said, as he appeared out of the shadows "It's a shame that my soldiers here couldn't end your lives so quickly and painlessly"
"You got to get up pretty early to outsmart these ninjas, you buggy eyed fire breathing lizard", I said, angrily
"I would watch your words that come out of your mouth turtle", he said, laughing darkly
"And why is that? You don't scare us!", I said
"Perhaps I don't, but I do to her!", he said, pointing beside him
I then heard the cries of a baby. Leo and I immediately looked over and my heart immediately stopped beating recognizing those cries as I saw our daughter struggled in a dragon's arm as she cried trying to get away. A fire then ignited in my eyes and my body tensed up as I growled lowly. I could see Leo had the same expression as me I could see him take a step forward. "You dare touch our daughter!", Leo said, angrily
"Why yes, she did look rather appetizing once my solider found her unattended", he said
"You give our daughter back this instance! Or I will tear every scale of your body, slowly and painfully!", I said, gritting my teeth
"Like I said before, watch your tone or your little one will become the appetizer before you will be the main course for us all!", he said
"Give...her...back...now!", Leo yelled
"I don't think so, you will to fight for her first!", he said "Dragons attack, tear them apart!"
Dragons came at us from all directions roaring, either blowing fire or slicing weapons. It went on to full attack mode for Leo and I as we battled each dragon that came at us. But our main mission was to get to our daughter who was being held hostage. I was able to take down three dragons doing a spinning roundhouse kick sending them flying into the sewer river as I quickly snuck away and ran towards the dragon with my daughter after leaving the Dragon Lord to escape. "Give her back!", I yelled
The Dragon Lord stood in front of me and I had no choice but to fight as he pulled out his sword. It got to be an intense sword fight as I tried to make my way past him to get to Ellie. But his strikes were getting stronger and faster and I was struggling to get keep up. He then knocked my sword out of my hands as it went flying beside me as he kicked me down on the ground and stomped on my chest. I gasped feeling the wind knocked out of me as I screamed in pain. He then stomped on my chest harder as I groaned in pain trying to get his boot off of me as he laughed evilly. I then heard Ellie crying more as she looked terrified.
"Stop please! She is just a baby!", I yelled
Leo then came flying over me as he did a double front kick towards the Dragon Lord as he knocked him away. I quickly got up regaining my breath as I coughed hard. "Come on!", I said
"Ellie!", Leo yelled, looking horrified
Leo and I rushed towards the dragon that had our daughter dodging any others that came at us. Our main focus was to get Ellie away from him. We were starting to catch up to him with me almost able to reach out and grab him, but Leo was suddenly tripped by a dragon wrapping a chain around his ankle and tugging him back. I skidded to a halt looking back. "Leo!", I called out
"Get to Ellie, don't let him get away!", he yelled
He took the chain around his ankle and yanked the dragon towards him kicking him with his other foot and he threw the chain out, wrapping it around the dragon and pulling him to Leo and kicking him repeatedly and tugging him back. I ran again now that Leo was able to regain the fight towards the dragon that had our daughter. I growled as he looked back at me growling and running faster. Ellie cooed reaching out to me and a look of pure anger came to my face as I suddenly started to run my feet across the wall.
I was able to run over the dragon and jump out in front of him skidding backwards as he tried to stop. But I was able to lay a punch into his face as he fell backwards, making him throw Ellie back as she cried. I gasped as I ran again and I jumped forward leaning back as I slid on my shell across the wet concrete. Ellie was getting closer towards the ground and just as she was about to crash, I slid catching her in my arms. "Got you!", I said, hugging her close
Ellie giggled as cooed and I slid up on my feet skidding to a halt. "Phew that was close one", I said, smiling down at her
Ellie giggled but I then saw a shadow behind her and I gasped, not having any time to react. I then felt a sharp pain in the back of my head, making me fall forward. I quickly turned on my side not wanting to crush Ellie with my weight as I fell head first into the concrete and my arms had released around Ellie.
After I fell, my hearing went all muffled and my vision blurred. I looked around seeing slow motion action of dragons fighting against Leo, with fire blowing in the air and weapons clashing causing sparks. I then turned my head more as I looked to see Eleanora sitting beside me as I could hear coos as her little hands gripped my face, trying to get me up. I was relieved to see she didn't look hurt from the fall as I could see her little hands were red. I turned and saw I had blood coming from the side of my head and was pooling under me.
I looked at her panting hard as she looked at me with fear. I then heard Ellie scream as metal claws gripped her around her shell and started to pull her away from me. "No, no!", I said, weakly trying to pull her back
Ellie cried as she tried to grip my face more in her little hands trying to cling on to me. But the metal claws jerked her away and up from my view. I looked up seeing Ellie struggling and crying in Dragon Lord's arm as he looked down at me with smoke coming from his nostrils as he laughed down at me. "No let my daughter go!", I said, trying to get up to fight
I was suddenly kicked into the river as I fell into the water. I immediately swam back up to catch my breath as I coughed hard. "Dragons retreat we got what we want!", Dragon Lord yelled
Ellie cried reaching her arms out for me as the dragons quickly started climbing up the fire escape out of the sewers. "No!", I yelled
"Ellie!", Leo screamed
As soon as Dragon Lord was climbing out with our daughter in his arm, he jumped on his back, trying to tug him back inside as Leo took out a kakute and sliced it across his shoulder. He roared in pain as it turned into a struggle with Leo trying to reach and grab Ellie, but Dragon Lord got the upper advantage as he kicked Leo's shin with his metal boot heel. Leo yelled in pain as he lost his hand grip on one of his shoulders and he kicked him in the chest, sending him flying back and crash into the wall. His shell made a giant spider crack as he fell towards the ground hard. "Leo!", I screamed
"Till we meet again freaks!", Dragon Lord said, as he escaped up the hole with Ellie
"No! No! No!", I screamed, as he slid the cover over quickly
I struggled to get out of the water, trying to ignore the pain in my head to reach them. But I kept slipping back in and my energy levels give up quickly. But it was too late they were gone. Our enemy had our little girl. I quickly swam over towards Leo as I climbed out of the water and crawled towards him. "Leo! Baby are you alright?", I asked, worriedly
He groaned in pain as he sat up rubbing his head. "Calli are you okay?", he asked
"Leo they got Eleanora!", I said, terrified
"What?!", he said, horrified
"They got our baby! They got her!", I said, struggling not to cry
"Where...where did they go?!", he asked
"Up the manhole! I couldn't get to them!", I said, shaking my head
"We need backup! We have to get her back! They are going to kill her, we need to do something now!", he said
I quickly searched through my belt and I quickly got out my phone and I dialed my brother Raph for help. "Raph! We have been attacked! They took Ellie!", I said, panting hard, laying back against the wall "Yeah"
By the time Raphael and the boys got over to our location, Leo and I were starting to recover from the fight. "Leo, Calli!", Raph called out
The boys turned the corner and came rushing over towards us. "Guys!", Mikey said
"Oh thank god you are here", I said, shivering from the cold
"Sissy what happened here?", Donnie asked, as he took a blanket he had in his arms and wrapped around me as I hugged it tightly to warm up
"Dragons...they just appeared", I said, panting "They were too strong, they took my baby!"
"Why would they take Ellie?", Mikey asked
"Why else Mikey? Obviously they want to finish every one of us!", Raph said
"I tried to help her, I just...", I said, shaking terribly
"Once they were out of there, there was nothing you could of done, not without being seen", Donnie said
"She tried to help her, she just got hurt, oh god!", Leo said, sounding panicked
"What are we going to do?", Mikey asked "We have to find her!"
"We have that tracking device! Remember I set up one for everyone, including Ellie", Donnie said
"Does it work?", Leo asked
"Only one way to find out for sure! Come on!", he said
We quickly rushed back to the lair as we gathered around Donnie around his desk. I saw that Ellie's playpen was tipped over on its side and her toys were scattered across the floor, thinking she might of tried to get away from the dragon. "Anything Donnie?", I said, worriedly
"Getting close Calli", Donnie said
Donnie continued to type away until the location from the satellite came to a stop and the map on the screen enhanced as it showed us Ellie's location of her green blip. "Okay I got her, she is at the same location from the last time, on the second floor, west side, third door on the right", Donnie said
"We don't have much time before they might kill her! We need to move now!", Leo said
"I second that, let's move!", Raph said
We quickly grabbed weapons gearing up for an intense fight that was yet to come. I had slipped on shuko's over my hands and I placed a small knife in my chest strap. I grabbed an arsenal of smoke bombs and ninja stars and attached a chain to side of my belt over my hip. I then grabbed my sharp katana doing a twirl with it before sheathing it behind my shell. We ran out of the lair up towards the vehicles as Leo started up the jeep making the engine roar with intensity. Raph sped away at high speeds in front of us as we followed close behind him like a rocket shooting out.
We zoomed down the street heading towards Dragon Lord's hideout. Many thoughts were coming to my mind of what could be done or what have already been done to my little girl. She could be tortured, beaten, killed or worse case in my mind being eaten. I hugged myself trying to erase those thoughts, but they were consuming me. "Any idea how we are going to do this?", Mikey asked
"We are going to do a diversion. I'll explain when we get there", Leo said, determined "They are going to expect us coming, so we need to be prepared for anything"
"Works for me", Donnie said
Leo looked over at me and saw me in my worried state. He gently gripped my hand as he looked at me with the same look of fear, but not as scared. "It's going to be okay Calli, we will get our daughter back. Even if it means getting more violent, we will get Eleanora back", he said
I nodded as he gave my hand a squeeze as I gripped it back tightly as we got closer towards the hideout. As soon as we arrived we rushed towards the side of the hideout and looked up towards a hangover balcony. "What's the plan Leo?", I asked, whispering
Leo looked around and he then spotted the dragons that were guarding up front towards the entrance. "Alright Raph, you are going to need your bike for this one", Leo said, looking back at him
"I'm so going to enjoy this attack", he said, putting on his helmet
As soon as Raph snuck off, he came charging full speed ahead though the metal gates of the hideout as dragons noticed him growling. "Hey boys care for a fun ride?", he asked, firing up the engine
The dragons roared going after him as Raph raced towards them, knocking them out with ease as he did wheelies and tricks on his motorcycle. "Alright come on, move!", Leo said
Donnie, Mikey and I quickly followed behind Leo as we snuck past through the dragons outside with Raph. We snuck inside of the hideout and hid behind pillars as more dragons came into the throne room. "Alright what's next?", Donnie asked
"Donnie use that giant smoke bomb you have been working on these past weeks, it will give you enough cover", Leo whispered
"But I haven't tested it yet, I don't know what could happen or what the outcome might be", he said, shaking his head
"Well you are about to now, throw it close, Calli and I will sneak off to find Ellie", Leo said
"Sounds good enough for me, well here goes nothing", Donnie said, taking a pin out of a grenade shape smoke bomb and threw it out in front of the dragons
It let out a stream of smoke as the dragons looked at it confused. "Now!", Donnie said, as he pressed down on a red button stick control as the smoke bomb exploded loudly letting out a huge cloud of smoke
Dragons began roaring and waving their arms around trying to get their way through the smoke but Mikey and Donnie surprised them with a sneak attack, by jumping through the smoke with weapons drawn. They both landed on top of two of them as more dragons came running towards them. "Guys go find Ellie! We will hold them off!", Donnie called out, as he whacked a dragon in the head with his staff
"You got it, come on Calli!", Leo said, gripping my arm
We ran past the fight as I used Donnie's tracker to find Ellie's location. "Okay we got her", I said, about to go inside
"No wait, wait", Leo said, softly, pulling me back
"What?", I asked
"If we both go in and they see us both we might not get to her", Leo said
"You are right, I'll sneak in through the back way, you distract them while I grab Ellie", I said
"Sounds like a plan, let's do it", Leo said, nodding in agreement
I ran across the hall and took a left heading down the third hallway and sliding towards the back door of the same location as Ellie with Leo on the other side. I placed my ear up against the door to hear what was happening. I could hear muffled laughs and whimpers of my baby. I quietly pushed the door open and I slid inside, crawling behind a lab table. I peeked out from behind the table to get a good glimpse of what was going on. I could see that psycho doctor Quease, who nearly drained the life out of me the last time and I saw Dragon Lord carry in a cage, smashing it against the table. I gasped softly seeing my baby girl cramped inside as she whimpered in fear.
She looked back at me and her little blue eyes sparkled as she tried to reach for me through the bars. I had snuck back behind the table as soon as they turned to see what Ellie was looking at, before they could of seen me. I looked back out and hushed her quietly to not make her give away my position. "Shhhhhh I'm right behind you baby girl", I whispered
Ellie cooed softly as Quease dropped a tray of medical devices right beside Ellie causing her to whimper. "Finally I can know the secret of what makes these turtles so powerful", Quease said "This little one here will be an excellent lab experiment"
"And it will become my appetizer for my army and myself, we will become more powerful before we take on our next victims, the other turtles", Dragon Lord said
Ellie whimpered as I could see the front doors opening slowly and quietly. I knew it was Leo sneaking inside. "Now let's find out what makes you the way you are", Quease said, opening the cage door as he grabbed Ellie by the leg
Ellie screamed as she tried to struggle to get away as he dropped her on the table and Dragon Lord held her down in barricade of sharp claws around as she cried. "Oh don't cry little one, this will only hurt...a lot", Quease said, laughing as he picked up a scalpel
I gasped in horror as he was about to make a cut over Ellie's plastron as she struggled underneath the claws. "You so much as a point the tip of that scalpel on her, you both are going to be picking up your teeth off the floor when I'm done with you", a dark angry voice said
The tip barely just touched Ellie as Quease and Dragon Lord looked around. "Who dares enter my hideout?!", Dragon Lord yelled
"If you make a move, the little one is done for!", Quease said
As much as I wanted to go in and do a sneak attack to save my baby, I had to stick with the plan. "Oh I don't think so", he said
He then rolled a chair out from behind a desk. They looked at it confused and that's when Leo made his move. He threw out a chain and it gripped around the scalpel snatching it out of his hand. Leo then threw the chain again and this time it wrapped around Quease as he struggled to get free. Leo then yanked the chain back and sent him flying as he landed on the swivel chair, spinning uncontrollably, getting tied up in the process.
Leo then appeared and kicked him out of the doors sending him flying, crashing into the wall, as the door closed again. He then turned his attention towards the Dragon Lord and Eleanora. "Well done turtle, I see you know how to handle an enemy with such perfection", he said, growling lowly
"Apparently you don't know how to handle children", Leo said, with a glare "Now I'm only going to ask this once, hand my daughter over right now and no one gets hurt"
"I would rephrase that statement turtle", Dragon Lord said "I think she might get hurt"
He then suddenly grabbed Ellie, holding her down tightly towards the table as he gripped the back of her head and her arm. Ellie struggled as she began to cry. Leo's eyes widen with fear as he saw the death grip on her.
"Drop your sword on the ground!", he said
Leo was hesitant at first until I can see the claws around Ellie's throat, I knew he was serious. "Now!", he yelled
Leo put his sword on the ground and kicked it out in front of him. "Please", he said, holding his hands up surrender "Please, don't. Don't hurt her."
Ellie was crying loudly as he gripped her head and little arm. "Leave this place!", he said "Go!"
"Don't kill her!", Leo said, sounding desperate
"Just one twist and she is dead!", he said, tightening his grip
Ellie cried more as she struggled to get away as I looked at her with absolute horror in my eyes, fearing the worst can happen within seconds. "If you want to see your little girl live much longer, you go now!", he said
"All right", Leo said, backing up
A door opened and I could see pairs of dragons claws grabbing Leo by his shoulder and arms, pulling him back. "Ellie!", he yelled
Ellie was screaming at the top of her lungs and I tried to control my breathing, not to reveal my location as the fear began to build inside my heart. I could hear Leo screaming as the dragons dragged him off and there was yelling and then suddenly it all went silent. I could hear Ellie whimpering as I peeked out to see what happened. I could see her laying on the table, with her big blue eyes wide as Dragon Lord pulled out a knife in front of her.
I growled lowly. Now was the time to take action. I then took a beaker above me and I smashed it on the floor in front of me, hiding back. "Who's there?!", he said
I could hear footsteps walking towards me as I sighed in relief that he was away from my daughter as the footsteps got closer towards me.
I then quickly came out of hiding jumping over the desk and attacking Dragon Lord bringing him to the ground with a hard slam. I then slammed his hand hard against shattered glass on the floor making him release the knife as I grabbed it quickly sliding it away and I grabbed my sword from behind my shell and held it at his throat with fire growing in my eyes. I then heard the door crash open as I saw a dragon flying over us into the wall and I looked back seeing Leo running inside as he pushed his way through and picked up Ellie in his arms, holding her close as she whimpered.
Now with Ellie in the safe arms of my husband, my teeth clenched together as I looked back down at Dragon Lord, looking at him with a murderous look. He didn't seem to care that he nearly killed my daughter as he laughed at me with an evil grin. About then, I had just lost it. I then started punching him repeatedly in the face with my fist as I could hear Ellie whimper and Leo hushing her. Blood started to come out from his face from my attacks as it started to pool on the floor as my aggression kept building up.
"Callista stop it!", Leo said, in fright
I stopped at my last punch and looked back at him. "That's enough", he said, holding Ellie close to him
As much as I wanted to keep going on Dragon Lord for nearly killing my little girl, I knew Leo was right and I did have to follow the honor code of the ninja. I gave him a nod and then slowly got up picking up my sword as Dragon Lord laid on the ground bloody and bruised from the blows of the punches and he looked up to me with swollen red eyes, groaning in pain.
I then held my sword towards his face. "You dare put a claw or even a scale on my daughter again, next time I'm not going to stop, consider yourself lucky tonight", I said, in a dark tone
I then slowly walked away leaving him on the floor putting away my sword. I then rushed back towards Leo and Ellie, relieved that she was alright. I then quickly took her from my arms and held her close to my heart. "Ellie! Oh thank god!", I said, holding her head to my chest
Leo hugged us tightly to him as I hugged him in return as we both tried to recover from the shock. "Are you okay?", he asked
"I'm fine, I'm fine", I said, nodding
He kissed my forehead deeply as he knelt down and hugged Ellie to him, kissing her temple. "Let's get out of here", I said
"I'll cover you, keep running with her, get to the jeep", he said "We will follow you"
"Okay", I said, nodding in agreement
We then ran towards the doors as we could hear commotion outside as Leo pulled out his sword. "On three, ready? One, two, three!", he said
We burst through the doors as Leo ran out in front of me as I followed close behind him as we ran through the action. I kept my arms around Ellie protecting her from anything that might come flying as Leo fought dragons that came near us. The rest of the boys were battling ferociously against the dragons as they sent them flying in the air causing damage to the hideout, with spider crack craters in the walls or breaking pillars in half.
We kept getting closer and closer towards the exit as Leo fought off any approaching dragons with such strength and speed. I made it towards the doors as Leo pushed me back, kicking one dragon away from him. "Go Calli, we will meet you there!", he said
"Be careful please", I said
Leo nodded and ran off as I took off running out of the hideout, towards the jeep, as fast my feet could carry me. I quickly got inside to get into a safe place as I watched from the window, waiting for the boys to come out. I kept waiting and waiting, and there was no sign of the boys of returning. I wasn't going to leave them behind and drive off, I was going to go back and fight if they wouldn't return within the next minute. But what seemed like an eternity of waiting, the boys came running out of the doors towards the jeep, as part of the hideout crashed down.
I gasped in shock as it then became a pile of rubble as the boys approached. "What happened?!", I asked
"You could say that we kicked dragon tail way harder than Raph has ever done in his lifetime", Mikey said, as everyone jumped in
"Hey bright side is I made a dragon lose all of its teeth", Raph said, jumping on his motorcycle
"Story time later boys, let's get out of here", I said
Donnie started up the jeep as we went zooming off down the street with Raph close behind. "How's Ellie, Callista?", Mikey asked
"Well I think besides being absolutely petrified about becoming someone's dinner, I think she is okay, I don't know if they had hurt her", I said
"I will have to do an exam on her when we get back to the lair", Donnie said "Check for any potential injuries or complications"
"Works for me", I said
Leo looked incredibly terrified as he stroked Ellie's head as she still look shaken from the rescue. Ellie whimpered some more as he nuzzled her face and kissed her snout, trying to calm her down. "It's okay Green Bean, it's going to be okay, Mommy and Daddy are here now", he said
I rubbed his shoulder comfortably as he brought me and Ellie close to him in a protective embrace. For the rest of the ride home, Leo didn't let go of us. I could tell he was scared. Because we both knew we were not out of the woods yet until we know that Ellie was not harmed during the capture.
When we arrived home, we brought Ellie straight into Donnie's lab for a checkup. He had started checking her vitals and examining her skin to check for any wounds or injuries. "Anything Donnie?", I asked, worriedly as Leo and I stood in front of him with worried looks
"She is perfectly fine", Donnie said, taking out his stethoscope from his ears with a smile
We both sighed heavily in relief. "Oh thank god, I thought he really did hurt her when he had her in that grip", Leo said
"If he had applied just a bit more pressure around her, she would of probably been bruised easily", Donnie said "Let alone nearly crush her skull"
"If he had so much as put a scratch on her, I would of made him into the worlds ugliest set of handbags", I said, picking up Ellie holding her close
"Well thank goodness its all over now", Donnie said "I'm going to work on the security system, make sure that we don't have any unwelcome guests in the middle of the night"
"That sounds sensible", Leo said
"I agree, let's just try to take it easy for awhile", I said "It's been a rough night for all of us"
For the rest of the evening, I didn't even let go of Ellie. Everywhere I went she was in my arms in a tight embrace. You could say I went into overprotective mother mode for that night. I was just so afraid that if I didn't have near me that she would be snatched again and this time it would be too late for me to save her. When my brothers tried to help me for a while to take Ellie to give me a break, I became very agitated and often went into another room to get away from it. I was in the bedroom with Ellie on the bed as I watched her sleep on my chest, rubbing her shell gently. I then heard a few knocks on the door. "I am not in the mood guys, don't even try it", I said, annoyed
"It's me Leo", Leo said
My look softened. "Oh, come in honey", I said
Leo opened the door as I sat up in bed as Ellie yawned awake from her sleep as he came over and sat down in front of me. "Heard you were agitated", he said "I wanted to see if you were okay"
I sighed. "I'm assuming the boys blabbed off to you", I said, a bit annoyed
"Well they did tell me you were being overprotective of Ellie", he said
"Why wouldn't I be? I mean she had just went through something that shouldn't have happened", I said "She nearly became dinner for an oversize lizard for goodness sakes! Of course I am going to be overprotective!"
Leo held his hands up in defense leaning back a bit. "Hey hey hey easy Calli, I'm not blaming you for anything", I said "They are just concern about their niece, they feared for her safety, just like the both of us. They love her just as much as we do"
"I just fear that if I am not there, anything can happen, and I won't see her again", I said, struggling not to cry "And I can't lose her, I just can't"
Leo gave me a worry look as he hugged me close as I cried softly into his shoulder. His hand rubbed my shoulder in circles and down my shell repeatedly trying to help me to calm down. "Calli, I know you are terrified about what happened and believe me I am too, I couldn't imagine what they could of done to Ellie. But its over now, Ellie is fine. A lot of times things like this happened, it is scary, and it will take time to get past it, but everything is going to be okay. Okay?", Leo said
I nodded silently to his words of his advice and he held out his arms to take Ellie. I looked at him momentarily before I looked down at Ellie, who was looking up at me with a smile. I smiled softly and I gave her forehead a kiss as I then hand my daughter over to her father. "Okay Leo, I believe you", I said
He then hugged me with his arm as my arms wrapped around his neck tightly. "I love you honey", he said
"I love you too", I said, quietly
"Here let's try to put this behind us, Mikey made your favorite pizza and our favorite movie is on the T.V", he said
"The Last Samurai?", I asked
"The Last Samurai", he said
I smiled nodding in agreement and he wrapped his arm around me as he lead us out of the bedroom, to meet up with the rest of the family, already feeling a little better about the whole situation.
After watching the movie, everyone had headed off to bed for the night and Leo was doing his nightly meditation before bed in the dojo with Splinter. I had Ellie in my arms again as I brought her into the bedroom, shaking up her bedtime bottle in my hand as I sat down in the rocking chair beside her crib. "Ready to eat pumpkin?", I asked, sitting down
Ellie cooed as I wrapped her up in her silk blanket getting her comfortable. I then started to feed Ellie as I rocked gently back and forth in the chair, pushing off with my foot. As I looked down at Ellie while she nursed, I kept thinking I was grateful that there was no injuries on my daughter from her kidnapping and she was just as she was before. But more things came to my mind.
"Oh Ellie, I'm so happy that you are okay", I said "I wouldn't know what I would do if I had lost you. I don't know where I would be. You are not just another person in my life. You are everything to me. To lose someone you is to alter you alter your life forever. The pain would never stop with me. There would be a gap that would never close. The hole in my heart would be in the shape of you if I had lost you, and no one else can fit inside of it. Your eyes, your smiles, and the way I see you every morning when you wake up and every night when you go to sleep makes me feel like I am living in a sweet dream and are not waking up. I never want to imagine a single moment without you. All I can say is you are simply my greatest gift. I'm in love with everything about you and I don't want that to ever change. Ellie, my daughter, you are worthy of being love, not because of your sweet personality, your funny sense of humor, or even the love you have in your little heart, but because you are so precious to me that I would die for you. I just hope that you won't ever grow old of me, because regardless of what happens to us I will always be there and I will always love you"
Ellie was focused more on eating than probably than what I just said, but I could sense that even though she is too young to understand she would remember my words someday. I could feel the exhaustion of the fight catch up to me as I struggled to stay awake. As Ellie finished I set the bottle down on the floor and I pushed in her pacifier as she suckled on it.
"Don't...you...worry I'll never..let anyone hurt you...again ever", I said, as my eyes fluttered close
My head fell back against the pillow against the chair as I fell asleep with my daughter in my arms, hoping that this event would never repeat itself.
Leo's Pov...
As I looked through the crack in the door I can see Calli had fallen asleep with Ellie in her arms close to her heart, in a protective embrace. Ellie was still awake as Calli began to snore quietly. I was about to come in and take Ellie from Calli to get her into bed, but Ellie sat up and she was looking at her with a little smile. Her little hand touched her cheek with gentleness and care. It slid down as she scooted up on her laying her head in between the crook of her neck and her shoulder, still looking at her. As Calli slept on Ellie's pacifier slid out of her mouth landing on top of her hand and then the unthinkable happened.
"Ma..ma", Ellie said, looking at her mother
I gasped softly in surprise as my heart stopped beating with my hand quickly covering my mouth hiding my giant grin on my face. I could feel a little tear escape my eye as Ellie pushed her pacifier back in her mouth and curled up in Calli's arm falling fast asleep. My heart melted at the beautiful and touching moment I wiped the tears soaking up in my eyes. I couldn't believe my own eyes that Ellie has said her first word and it was Calli. Though it was a bit sad that Calli wasn't awaken to hear what she said, but I knew it wouldn't take long for Ellie to be talking and Calli would be hearing her for the first time. My little girl is growing up so fast. "Baby's first word Calli", I said, softly out to her as they slept peacefully "And it's you"
