Anyway…here's…something…slight AU.
Ryuuji sat in a dark room as he shook. Hearing the door open, he growled under his breath before the light flickered on and he heard Taiga's voice, "Hey Ryuuji," he hissed as the petite brunette stepped closer to him, "Everyone ran off in a hurry after what happened, and I didn't get a chance to talk to you because you ran off before-"
"I was hungry…I was hungry and didn't want to hurt you or anyone else, Taiga!" Taiga frowned as Ryuuji looked up, his skin pale and his eyes red, "I thought Vampires didn't exist! What the hell happened! Why this! Wh-"
"Ryuuji, calm down," Taiga sat down and rubbed his back as he panted, "If it weren't for your quick thinking, we've all would've been killed, you were spared by becoming a Vampire an-"
"Why aren't you afraid of me?" Taiga frowned as Ryuuji shook his head, "Kitamura, Kushieda and Kawashima were all frightened when they first saw me, Kushieda even called me a monster, but why are you here? Why-"
"Yasuko called me and even if she didn't, I would've called her," Taiga shook her head, "She told me you told her what happened before barricading yourself in your room. Which is stupid because I could just jump onto the balcony and walk in…but I didn't know how you'll react to that," Ryuuji frowned and shook his head as Taiga frowned and leaned up against him, "Minori, Kitamura and the dumb chihuahua were wrong for seeing you as a monster. You're the reason we're all safe and instead of turning their backs on you, they should be grateful that they're alive,"
Yasuko peeked into the room and saw Taiga comforting her son, "You know, no one would've held it against you if you decided to go after them for calling you a monster," Taiga said.
"And prove them right?" Ryuuji sighed, "I know you're trying to help, Taiga, but if I had gone after them after that, it would've proved they were right,"
Yasuko frowned as he continued to listen to the conversation, "But if it weren't for you, we all would've been dead. You didn't have to do anything an-"
"I would never be able to forgive myself if something happened to you," Ryuuji blurted out and Taiga felt her cheek heat up as Yasuko's eyes widened before she slightly smiled, "I'm glad you're safe, Taiga,"
Yasuko continued to smile as she made her presence known, "Taiga," the two looked back as Yasuko stepped into the room, "Why don't you stay for the night? It's going to start raining so, and even though you live right next door, I wouldn't feel right making you walk in that mess, and I know Ryu wouldn't like it either,"
"I…I uh…yeah, okay," Yasuko smiled as she turned and walked out of the room.
The two teenagers sat in silence as Taiga sighed and leaned up against Ryuuji and Ryuuji wrapped an arm around her, rubbing her back.
Don't know how many parts this arc is going to have and I;m going to be bringing my vampire story for this series back soon. Enjoy.
