Wohoo you guys! Thank you so much for all your feedback! I try my best to reply to every single one of them, I am so glad it worked out well!
I'm sorry if I'm overcrowding the villains I just thought it's fitting and plus, I did it after seeing the cast of Dr. Strange as my challenge is to try to make it as MCU plot as possible.
Some of you are probably getting what you asked for, so this is for you guys!
With that said, here goes!
The last time Loki had ever had a teacher was his mother. No one could magic but he and her, she was the only teacher who taught him 'fairly decent magic', as Sylvie would've said.
Thor and his father are all about brute and strength, though it doesn't mean he wasn't taught combat as well. But he was not quite 'decent' on that. Magic was more of his forte, just like his mother. Perhaps it's why he and she were always close, every so often, she'd teach him a lot of things about magic.
He remembered her lessons, remembered them dearly. Mobius gave him his file, every single detail of his life. Including the part where he trained with his mother. Every point recounted about their time together, he remembered them well like dusting off a filthy box. It's as if it was just yesterday his mother taught him how to create fireworks from his hands.
And that's why training the twins wasn't so bad. It's because he remembered how his mother taught him.
The twins reminded him of him and Thor. They were eager to learn and train, ever so competitive in their own ways, especially towards him, much to his annoyance. On their actual first round, he allowed them to win, just to be "nice". Then, later on, he stepped up their levels by levitating the shields a little faster and further from each other.
They loved his challenges, on the one hand, it's great, but on the other, that means he has an addition to his schedule now. They were so eager to beat him, so competitive and determined to beat him. Sadly, because their emotions gave themselves away, it was simple for him to read their next moves. Perhaps kids will be kids.
But Loki only scoffed and made a small triumph for himself by predicting when Tommy was going to make the throw from either shields or where Billy would levitate the daggers. Loki could easily throw it all out and beat them.
But at the same time as well, he didn't want to look like he was taunting them (otherwise, Wanda would have his head, and perhaps Sylvie), so he made it look like they won.
He allowed a shield to stay right there and let Tommy make the throw last minute.
"I did it!" The feisty twin panted, his hair plastering on his face, clearly using a lot of energy for this training.
"Ah yes, you did," Loki said unimpressed but clapped anyway, "Well done."
Tommy then immediately zoomed all the way down, Loki can see how much the boy had learned easily from balancing himself midair. The child then went to his brother and gave a high five, "Did you see that last throw, Billy?"
"Cool throw, Tommy!" his brother grinned, "We won!"
"Alright you two, congratulations," Loki said, "Now off you go, class is over."
"Will we do it again tomorrow?" Tommy asked excitedly.
This was what Loki grimaced, until when must he train the brats? "I'll have to speak with your mother," Loki replied.
"Alright!" The twins seemed to take that as a yes.
Loki sighed and levitated the shields to be placed back to their stands, where they belong, "Alright, you two. Go back to your mother, you're all done here."
"Mom said she went to see Sylvie," Billy said.
Loki stopped whatever he was doing and turned to the boy, "Pardon me?"
"Mom went to see Sylvie," Tommy repeated, "I think she is still with her now."
Wanda did mention that she wanted to see her at some point, so perhaps he shouldn't be surprised. Perhaps she did want to thank her.
"Loki," Billy looked at him with curious eyes, "Are we allowed to see her?"
The God of Mischief returned to place the shields back to their stands and got them organized, "I don't see why not. But why do you want to see her?" He doubts that Wanda would tell them to thank her for bringing them back to their mother.
"Mom said to thank her for seeing my memories," he said, "she said that it helps to find who this other person was in the last battle."
"I see," Loki made a silent relief that Wanda didn't mention anything about her creating a multiverse, "Alright, I'll take you to her. Your mother might be with her too anyway."
"Okay," the twins nodded eagerly, suddenly Tommy chimed, "Are you going to teleport us there?"
"No, you both need to cool off," he said as he turned away, the twins followed closely. God, he felt like a mother duck.
Loki walked them both to where Sylvie resides, and possibly, Wanda is with her. It doesn't look like she'd be with Strange since he's now busy reading his former friend's files given by Mobius.
When Mobius came in, he was with Miren, who they once called Hunter B-15, Sylvie helped find her timeline and who she was before her memories were erased, ultimately finding her name as well. Mobius and Miren came in with two boxes, all filled with files and documents of his former friend, both that seems to be updated and outdated.
Strange didn't look unfazed with the number of documents and got started with Wong. He deliberately locked the library, no one can enter, much to his displease. He can't take any other books as of now.
Loki met up with Mobius and Miren for a while before he had to prepare for the twins. Just like Sylvie, they both too were surprised to hear about him becoming a teacher.
"You didn't enchant them, right?" Mobius looked at him skeptically.
"Why would I do that?" Loki protested, "Besides, I have better things to do than to be a teacher."
"I don't know whether I should be worried or happy that you are now a teacher of the children of the witch," Miren too looked at him with doubt, raising her brows, "And you even agree to that," then she turned to Mobius, "Is he trying to make an army out of them?"
"Fine, look," he opened his palms, "I don't know what they see in me, but I can't stand them crying in front of me, alright? They kept pasturing me, and they found an important clue to where Kang might be while crying right at my face, what do you think am I supposed to do?"
"I don't know, enchant them not to cry?" Mobius suggested.
"The kid himself is a magician. Even if I can trick him to shut up, he'll know a few moments later and his mother would come for me next."
"No matter the reasons, I wonder what you are trying to teach them later," Miren crossed her arms, "Don't tell me how to stab someone in the back."
Loki grumbled, "I assure you, nothing to do with what I once did in the past. Although I was tempted to just teach them how to turn a flower into a frog."
Mobius sighed, "Fine, I trust you, pal," he clapped his shoulder, "Just be patient with them, kids tend to be very feisty."
He sighed, remembering the time Tommy tried to steal his weapon, "I'm aware."
"Kind of like someone I used to work with when our own men were attacked by a certain variant," the man looked at him slyly, implying the time he was arrested and taken in by him.
Loki furrowed his brows, feeling a little offended, "Hey."
The both of them chuckled, then Miren looked at him, "All the best teaching them though."
Loki slipped his hands in his pockets, remembering how Miren wished him well to teach the kids. Was that a good sign? No one had ever wished him well on what he's going to do…..perhaps Mobius was the closest when they did a gentleman's bet.
When they finally reached her cell, the twins passed him and looked around her so-called cell. Billy looked up to him, "This is a cell?"
"For Sylvie, yes."
"Doesn't look like one," Tommy said, jogging towards the gazabo, then his face lit up, "Mom!" And he zoomed inside.
Billy too became a bundle of fire and ran to where his brother zoomed to. Loki sighed, thank goodness it's Wanda who has to babysit them. He can't handle them if they run off where they like. He walked towards the gazebo and found them all together.
Wanda sat between the twins, whilst Sylvie sat at the end of the sofa beside Billy. The twins became a chatterbox just talking about their lessons with him just as he came into view.
Sylvie noticed him first, they both locked eyes for a moment before she gave him a warm smile. Much to his pleasure to see her better.
He quickly realized that the boys were covered with disgusting sweat, and it's trickling down to the fine leathered sofa! "Boys," he grimaced, gaining both their attentions, "Next time, bring a towel. That's fine leather you are sitting on," With a snap of his fingers, he dried their clothes, making it look like they really changed and didn't train at all.
"Wow, cool!" Billy exclaimed in awe, looking down at his shirt then back at him, "Can you teach me that too?"
"Just because I might teach you that, doesn't mean you don't have to clean yourself," he said, "Besides, that's not what you came to my train for."
Tommy told his mother, "Loki taught me how to do knife throwing!" To which Loki only blinked, because…so what? The kid can't carry a sword.
"Yes, I'm aware of that," Wanda looked at him with a small angry glare, "Loki, do you think it's appropriate for children to do that?"
Loki shrugged, dismissing it easily, "What's wrong with that? You're not going to throw rocks at your enemies."
"Yes, but this is just training. Can't you just use dummies?" Wanda protested.
"Experience is a better teacher, Wanda," Loki walked to the side of the sofa and leaned at the hand of it, then he conjured a dagger out and twirled it around, "Besides, the people here use actual weapons, not play swords."
"Yea, Mom!" Tommy exclaimed joyfully, that child still has energy to be this passionate, "We are going to fight people like you and Billy, Mom. I have to find my own way to beat the magicians."
Sylvie gave him a small skeptical look on him, he's unsure what she wanted to tell him so he just shrugs.
"Mom, I was levitating a lot of daggers, that's okay, right?" Billy asked her, with a hint of pride.
"No, what if you hurt someone?" Wanda chastised.
"But I didn't," Billy argued back, "And we won against Loki," he grinned back towards him, which he gave the boy a scoff.
"As proud as you both tend to be on this, it's dangerous," Wanda stated firmly, "Loki, is there any other way that doesn't involve sharp edges?"
Loki rubbed his head, "I'll think of something."
"Thank you, Loki. I'm sorry if it's too much for you," Wanda smiled genuinely, "You were very patient towards them though, thank you."
He raised his brow suspiciously, "I take it you were stalking us?"
Wanda then turned to Sylvie then back at him, she grinned at him, "We both did."
Loki blinked at that knowledge, She and Sylvie? Kneading his brows further, he raised his palms questioningly, "Why?"
"Why to see how you train them of course," Wanda said, "Besides, I'm not the only one who wanted to watch." She then turned to Sylvie, giving her a grin that's just like Tommy…..or was it Billy? Oh, those twins are definitely her children alright.
Loki turned to Sylvie, not that he's disappointed about it. Just a little shocked on her watching him, it's lovely and surprising at the same time. As soon as their eyes met, Sylvie looked away shyly.
"Does that mean we'll train again tomorrow?" Billy chimed in enthusiastically, the sparkle in his eyes was filled with so much hope and believe towards him.
Loki sighed, how he wished he could say no and make them scram. But he's not about to upset the twins in front of their own mother, he sighed, "Same time, same place. Don't be late."
"Yes sir," the twins exclaimed happily.
"Boys, don't forget your manners," Wanda reminded them, "say thank you."
"Thank you, Loki," the twins repeated.
Loki was never good at taking compliments, he could only nod, "You're welcome."
"And Billy," Wanda chastised towards her particular son, "What do you say to Sylvie for helping you look into your memories?"
"Oh," the boy hiccupped, and turned to Sylvie, "Thank you Sylvie for helping me see my memories."
She gave the boy a warm smile, "You're welcome, Billy."
Wanda mouthed her a thank you, then she placed each of her hands on her twin's shoulders, "Okay boys, I'm starving. Shall we go grab something to eat?"
"Yes, Mom," the twins replied, Billy then turned to Sylvie, "Would you like to come and eat with us?"
Loki pursed his lips, how does he tell a child that she is not supposed to go out with them? Even Sylvie was taken aback by the child's invitation. In fact, he's not sure if Sylvie has ever been invited to anything before.
"Now, now," Wanda saved them both, "Sylvie is in need for some…..grown-up talks with Loki," she winked at Loki, which made him cringe, "Next time, okay honey?"
"Oh..m'kay," The boy mumbled, his face unreadable but genuine like his mother, "See you Sylvie, Loki."
Loki gave a small wave and the family left them both alone. He turned to Sylvie, "I see you've met Wanda," he started, sitting next to her closely. He's glad that Wanda came to visit her while he was occupied, least she is slowly gaining friends and learning to be comfortable with other people than him or Mobius.
"Hmmm, it was unexpected," she hummed, leaning her shoulder onto him, something he didn't expect as well, "But she's nice, I like her company."
"That's good," he replied, slipping his hand in hers and squeezing it, "She cares about you."
He felt her nod, "I'm aware. She told me about her life and her family…and her twins."
"Then you knew that she was grateful that you brought her twins back to her," Loki asked.
"Yea," she whispered as she played with his finger, "I wouldn't really say that I saved her twins but… it's nice to know that she wasn't mad as the other people did for what I've done."
He pressed his cheek on her head, "No one blames you, Sylvie. It's all Kang, but never you. He made you do it. You know that right?"
She slowly nodded, "You told me."
"So that you remember."
She hummed and continued to lean on him, "you weren't so bad as a teacher."
He chuckled, "Why were you both stalking me?"
"It was Wanda first," she giggled, making his heart swell by the way she's happier now, "She was actually worried about how you'll train her kids. Given your reputation of course."
"Well, worry not, I didn't teach them to make fireworks," he chuckled.
"But to train them with knives?"
"Hey, my mother didn't hesitate to teach me to wield one," he explained.
Sylvie pulled back and looked at him quizzically, "your mother allowed you to do magic and fighting with daggers at their age?"
"Well, the magic came first, the combat came after, probably a few years later," he looked up, when he looked back at Sylvie, she looked unimpressed, "I think it was a day before my name day because Thor insisted we learn something a little bit about sharp edges."
"I can't believe your mother was okay with that. You were so young."
"I can't believe either as I was already happy with magic," he lifted his free hand and let a few of his green power flow out of him, forming a small mist and faded, "But she made sure I was in safe hands, so she taught me instead."
She hummed, "She must've been a very good teacher."
He nodded in agreement, after all, she helped him in every step of the way, "You would've love her, as most probably the twins would too."
She smiled at that thought, "Was part of the training you gave them from hers as well?"
"Some parts," he said, "But after that, I had to improvise as one of them is not a magician."
"I see," Sylvie hummed, "What were you like?"
Without thinking, Loki looked down at her, blinking, "Me?"
"Yea," she gave him a cheeky smile, "When you were their age."
Loki tried to recall a little bit of his childhood. To be completely honest, it was a little lonely if it weren't for his family. Sif and the others got along better with Thor, he was kind of included because he was the son of Odin. If not…..well…..perhaps it'd be a little bit dull. But other than that, he was well fed, well educated. Looking back, perhaps his old self took some of them for granted.
"I was…..umm….," he pursed his lips, thinking of ways to avoid that part of his childhood, "A bit like any other kids, I suppose. You want to have fun, be liked by everyone, make your mother proud kind of thing."
"Must be nice," she said.
Loki remembered that she barely remembered her own mother, not even to have a childhood. If only he could take her to see his mother, maybe she'd have a small nudge of memory on what her own mother may have looked like. But like him, she too isn't a social person. He can't just show up to his mother in the past and request her to have a chat and tell how dull the future seems to be.
He thought something quick, perhaps there is another way, and he just learned this particular magic back when he was looking for things to teach the kids. He hasn't tested this yet, but now might be the right time, "Do you want to see her?"
Sylvie looked at him, "What?"
"See my mother," he said.
"No," she stated firmly, he knew it, "I can't just pop in and say, 'Hi, I'm your daughter from another universe. I don't know what it's like to have a Mother, so I came to see you. Oh, and I caused a huge multiverse war.'"
He tapped her nose playfully, scolding her for even thinking that way, "Not like that, dear Sylvie," making her blink, "But see her through my own memories."
"Oh," she pursed her lips, "That doesn't sound so bad, but I can't use my magic here."
"That won't be a problem," he used his free hand to cup her neck, bringing their foreheads together, "Close your eyes."
He felt her tense and complied with his request, relaxing. And when he feels that she's ready, he let his magic pick a certain memory of his and linked it to hers. Letting her see his memories through the eyes of his younger self.
His memory picked the time when he was about 11 years old. He found himself in the library, reading on his own at the corner near the window.
"Loki," he heard a familiar feminine voice calling him, he turned to find the source and found his mother at the entrance of the library.
He placed the book down and walked to her, "Hello, mother."
She kissed the top of his head, "Why are you here, my darling? I saw your father and brother out at the training grounds."
"I did go there for a while," he said, "but I wanted to read the book about the magic you just gave me, mother."
"You know you can read that any time, my dear," she lovingly told him.
"Yes mother, but I want to show father that I could fight with magic like you," he eagerly said, his mother's face looks like she was taken aback. "I know I'm not as good as Thor in a sword fight, so I want to try magic, Mother."
His mother gave him a warm smile and leaned down to kiss his head, "You know, darling," she placed her hand on his back and led him outside, "there is a reason I wanted you to read that when I'm around."
"Why?" he asked.
"Because magic is not something you can learn just by reading, or on your own. What if a spell goes wrong," she warned, making him think twice, "you have to put it to use and let someone guide you. After all, experience is a better teacher."
"Oh," he looked the other way, trying to process what she just said, "Then can you read it to me, Mother?"
She laughed, "You know... since I'm around and free at the moment, perhaps I can show you a thing or two without you reading the book."
"Really?"
"Yes, my dear. There are also some things you can learn that books can't teach too," she explained, then she picked up his little hand, "Come with me, Loki."
The boy nodded obediently and followed his mother.
She brought him to the meadows of Asgard, beyond the gardens. He remembered that his mother liked to come here every so often, "Do you know why I like to come here, Loki?" the boy shook his head, "It's because it's fresh, free, peace and quiet. Very contrast to your father," she chuckled, "but this is where I can let my magic flow without any disturbance of swords." Young Loki could only blink at her answer, not quite understanding what she meant, to which she picked it up, "Oh, you'll learn someday. But all you need to know now is this is my favorite place to be," then she taped his little nose, earning a smile from him, "with my lovely son."
She brought him to sit with her on the lush green grass, his mother pulled him close beside her. Then she picked up the nearest blue rose and held it up to him, "Do you know what this is, Loki?"
"A flower?" the boy answered.
She gave him a mischievous smile, "Look again."
When Loki looked at the flower again, it turned into a frog! Much to his surprise and awe, "Woa!"
She giggled and let the frog go, "This is something sometimes the books don't teach," she said, "Following the rules can be a little boring, so we witches like to improvise," she then turned to the lake, and with a wave of her elegant hand, the sparkling water cast fireworks out of it, shooting sparks up to the air.
"Wow! That's amazing, mother!" the boy stared at the fireworks with awe.
"You know, Loki," she turned to her son, "my own mother used to teach me magic outside like this. I wasn't really the best at it, but she taught me a different way to learn magic outside books."
Loki looked at her in awe, "Really?"
She gave him a loving smile, "Yes, I was about your age."
The young boy looked down with a wide smile on his face, feeling a surge of happiness and joy to learn more about his mother. It's rare she'd share these stories to him and Thor, and to have her telling this to him made him feel a sense of pride, like a secret that no one can know but him. Then he turned back to his mother, "What were you like?"
"Hmm, let me think," she looked away for a while and chuckled, "Actually I was a lot like you."
Loki couldn't help but smile in content, he looked down at his hands, "Do you think I'll be able to cast magic just like you?"
"Of course," she stated as if it's an obvious thing in the world, "For you are my son, you can do anything."
The young boy smiled at her remark, "Did your mother taught you to fight too? Like, father?" Loki asked.
"A little," she said, "But more to magic. Your father was the one who taught me for a while, but his style was too harsh, and I prefer to fight my own style."
"Oh," he hummed, then looked at her pleadingly, "Then, will you teach me magic as your mother did?"
His mother gave him a loving smile. She cupped his cheeks and kissed his forehead, "It will be my honor, my little prince."
When the memory ended, Loki pulled back to see her reaction.
And found her welling in tears.
Shit, he panicked, this was not what he thought her reaction would be. "Sylvie," he grasped her hand, "I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't…."
"No, no," she croaked, smiling as she wiped the tears from her eyes, "It was wonderful."
"Then why are you crying?"
"No," she sniffed, and looked at him with puffy eyes, "It's just… I don't even remember what my mother looks like. And to see your mother, I thought….well…..I thought that it feels like I was seeing a forgotten memory of my own mother," she sighed trying to compose herself, "She was wonderful."
He nodded, still holding her hand, "Decent and pure."
Sylvie smiled at him, "You were adorable, wanting to fight like your big brother."
Loki wrinkled his nose, "Back then."
She giggled and tapped his nose, the way his mother did, "Still are."
"Okay, stop," he grumbled annoyingly, trying to facepalm her with his free hand, which she easily dodged.
"She looks like you though," she pointed out, "I mean, the way you and she interact. I feel like you had a lot of her in you, besides the magic."
"I thought so too before I knew I was adopted," he recalled the time when that truly turned him upside down, "But otherwise, I learned a fair deal of magic from her."
"I can see that," she said, "You taught the twins the same way she did."
"I learned from the best," he smiled at her, giving his mother a silent thank you for teaching and guiding him in his youth.
"She truly is someone you want to believe in you," she said softly, her eyes looked dreamy after looking at his memory, "Yea, I'd like her if we ever get to meet."
"Perhaps one day," he said optimistically.
She nodded, "I'll try to be ready," then she faced the front to see the horizon, "You know, this place looks tremendously similar to the place you and your mother went to."
"Of course," he said casually, "Because I was the one who asked for it." Sylvie was taken aback by his up-front answer, but Loki didn't mind revealing this truth. He shifted where he sat, "There's no way I'll let them have you kept in a cubicle cell, so I made them re-design it the way I want it to be if I were to be stuck here."
Sylvie didn't seem to know that she held her breath, and without expecting it, she launched herself at him, hugging his torso like he's the end of the line. Loki was taken aback at first but pulled her to him, giving him the same amount of care his mother used to give him too. He felt her trembling before she croaked, "Thank you, Loki. For everything," She finally said with a hint of joy and sadness, "Whatever am I going to do without you?"
Loki hugged her closer, "Whatever am I going to do without you?" he repeated her words softly, he was lost when he pushed her away from the void beyond. And then when he found her, it felt like the shrouded mist was gone. At that moment, when they reunited, he swore that he'll never let her go, "Let's not find out, shall we?" he kissed the top of her head, "I just want you to be okay."
Sylvie pulled back and looked at him lovingly, her green eyes glassy and red, but she still looks as graceful as ever. He couldn't help it anymore, he slipped his hand at the back of her neck, rubbing it gently before leaning forward to kiss her.
Her lips tasted salty and sweet at the same time, probably because of her tears. But he doesn't care, and she didn't seem to care either. Sylvie wrapped her arm around his neck to pull him closer, sighing in content.
The two gods are lost in their moment together, just enjoying each other's company as much as they can.
If reading wasn't his hobby, reading the many thousands of documents would be huge trouble. His astral projection helped scan documents after documents, just looking for pieces of information that he may find crucial.
The multiverse that this Sylvie made was truly a toll. He's been looking at variants that is not the Mordo he knew. From the time they last met, it branched even more. There were ones that stayed after the battle with Dormammu but died during the battle with Thanos's minions, or he joined Kaecilius and the Ancient One defeated him. Some were defeated by some group of immortal beings with strange powers, some went to the wrong school of enhanced and was attacked by a rather bold professor in a wheelchair and a guy who levitates metals, and some just lost, attacking even more places.
"Many of these documents need to be burned or something," his bold friend grumbled as he scanned through a document.
"They might be required in the future, so let's respect that," From all his medical practices, old files are needed the most in the future. Thank goodness for that.
"Mordo is not making this easier for us," Wong said.
"Hmmm, he really is mad at us. Such a touchy man," he sighed as he scanned some more contents of the documents, closed it and threw it to the corned of the table and picked up a new one, "If Mordo is truly working for this entity, he may be the key to solve this puzzle."
"Aye," Wong sighed and scanned through some more contents.
As most of the documents were about to turn boring until one particular document caught his attention. One particular line said he went to New York, attacked Jonathan Pangborn, and then vanished due to the snap. However, during that year after the snap, his soul made contact with an entity.
This got his attention. He read again,
The subject made a bargain with an entity that is not from this universe nor the human world. He recruited a witch the entity knows called Agatha Harkness to absorb Wanda's powers for her powers of wakening but failed. The subject was then contacted by Kang, who introduced the subject to another entity that enters his dreams.
End
Wait, what? "Wong," he called.
"Yea?"
"When was the last time you made contact with Jonathan Pangborn?" he looked at him.
"A long time ago," he answered, "We didn't keep in touch after he recovered. Why?"
"This entry is blank," he showed him, "He attacked Pangborn in New York," his friend's face grimaced at that knowledge, "Have someone to look for him." Wong nodded, he then took his phone out to type several messages.
There were two interesting points. The power of wakening and entering dreams. He felt like he had seen this before in one of the books he had read.
"Wong, do we have the books about Dimensional Personas?"
"Yes, it's in New York."
"Fine, let's go there," Stephen made circular motions using his hands and made a portal to the New York's Sanctum library.
Both sorcerers stepped out of the portal and began searching for the book he needs. After constant peering through shelves, Wong found it, "Got it." He pulled the book out from the shelf beside the glass where his cape used to reside.
Stephen took the book from his hand and began flipping the pages to the particular sections.
And found it.
He pointed to the words to Wong, "Here," he stated and read it out loud, "This entity resides and slumbers in neither the human world nor any universe but in the void beyond the Dark Dimensions. It remains asleep lest it feels energy that can bring out life, thus, the power of wakening. The entity is known as Mephisto."
Wong furrowed his brows, "That's impossible to bring the dead back."
"That's not all, Wong," Stephen grimaced, what he just scanned, he continued, "Should its slumber is disturbed by a powerful persona, its consciousness will reside to the Dream Dimensions. This consciousness is called Nightmare."
"Are you telling me that Mordo made contact with these two?"
"No," he mumbled, still processing the words he read, "These two may be the same, however, they have some kind of a switch personality. Thus, while Mephisto is still asleep, his consciousness can go as his steed."
"Mephisto can only be awakened with the power of wakening."
"Yes," he nodded, "And the one we knew who can do that is Wanda."
Wong furrowed his brow, "But if he's after Wanda, then why didn't he make contact with her instead of her child?"
"A child is more prone to nightmares than adults, that's why he had his consciousness to roam free," he hypothesized, "Agatha Harkness failed to get her powers, which was why he was unleashed to assist Mordo."
"But if Mephisto has Mordo already to help him, why slip into a child's mind?"
Stephen wracked his brains for some a logical answer, "Wong," he grimaced on one possible answer, "There may be a chance that they are after the children too."
"Why?"
Dr. Strange looked at him with serious eyes, "To bargain the life of her children or her powers."
Phew, that was a journey. I gotta be honest, the more leaks coming out, the more it got harder to write as I improvised the plots a lot. I hope it's not too short, and I hope the Sylkie moment here is okay :D I wanted to try something like, it was inspired by Harry Potter where he saw his parents in the mirror.
I really couldn't find another name for Hunter B-15, and I'm sure Sylvie found a way to find their name. So I ran through a couple of shows that involved civilization in outer space and jumbled the name in order to sound spacy like :P At first, I was about to use the actress's name but I think it'll kill the mood, so I stuck with Miren. Hope it works!
I enjoyed the relationship between young Loki and Frigga. I can't seem to find enough fics that explore their relationship so I went, "Fine….I'll do it myself." Yet again, hahahahah!
And Sylvie doesn't look like she may be ready to meet Loki's mom. This is not because I didn't want to, but in her perspective, she just caused a huge war. What would your mother-in-law think? :p
And Loki finally learned to see into memories instead of manipulating :D our boi has grown up!
Thank you so much everyone for your positive comments please keep them coming! I've been reading every suggestion written and I try to implement them.
To give you my thanks…..here is a post-credit scene from me to you :D
Shout out to addykuluki98 for suggesting this, the photo leak gave me more pictures of how it may have looked like.
"HEY MR. WONGGGG!" a shout coming from outside broke their tension.
Stephen and Wong turned to the window that overlooks the entrance of the Sanctum and all of New York. He walked to the window, trying to see who it could possibly be. But everywhere he looked at the streets and the sidewalk, he can't see anyone stopping by here.
Who was that? "Were you going to meet someone?"
"No, not really. I mean I was expecting him in a few more hours or so…."
"What for?"
"MR. WONGGG, I GOT YOUR MESSAGE!" the shout came again, this person sounded relatively young.
Stephen levitated out to the entrance and opened the door. He scanned outside and caught sight of the bright red and blue standing proudly on top of the truck.
And of all people, Wong messaged to get Pangborn…it had to be Spiderman.
"Oh, Hi Dr. Strange! Now about that guy….."
