Just three more chapters and it'll be done! I added another chapter because I realize two battle parts crammed into one will be no good.
Here goes!
Sylvie groaned, feeling so exhausted. Whatever that Power Wanda has in her was overwhelming physically and emotionally. It's like no other magic she had ever experienced.
When she opened her eyes, she found herself face to face with Stephen Strange. "Stephen?"
"Sylvie?" the Sorcerer Supreme helped her down so that she can sit up on her own, "Are you okay? Can you move?"
She shook her head to clear her mind, "I think I can," The floor felt cold and dusty…..dusty? What happened? The corner of her eyes then caught the sight of the figure in front of them, putting himself between them and Kang, Mordo, and Ravonna. Her eyes then widened.
The long hair and the familiar Asgardian armors, along with its swords floating behind him!
The Goddess of Mischief couldn't help but smile, "Loki!" Odin's words were right! Her heart was right! She finally got him back!
Her love turned back to meet her eyes, the sea-green eyes looked at her with content and longing, as if he had not seen her in ages. He mouthed to her, Thank you, then he turned back to Kang, Mordo, and Ravonna.
"This is impossible," Mordo growled, "How did you get yourself back?"
"Same as you," Loki coolly answered, but with so much venom in his tone. Sylvie shuddered at how fierce he had become.
"Same how?" Mordo demanded.
"Nightmare found you because you were calling for his other self, or rather summoned him in exchange for lives of others," he directed his glowing steel blade and pointed right at him dangerously, "Your desperate call for him awakened his consciousness and possessed you instead, and not his body. But wanting to keep your soul, you wanted mine and the Power of Wakening."
"This has nothing to do with how you came back," Mordo growled.
"But unlike, you, I owe my return to many. Some of those people you knew," Loki turned back, indicating his allies. Sylvie couldn't help but smile, Odin was right. He had opened up his heart to her and his friends that that was enough to bring him back. Loki locked eyes with Sylvie and smiled. Wanda squeezed her hand; Sylvie didn't even notice her friend have moved. She turned to her and both smiled at each other before turning back to watch what Loki has to reveal again.
The twins beside her smiled at her, she can't help but ask, "How did you get here?"
"That woman," Tommy pointed at Ravonna, "She attacked us with that electric thing, and dragged us here."
Damn that woman, Sylvie thought. How could she do this to Wanda's children?
Without noticing, Kang took that moment to summon his blaster and fired at Loki. The others didn't even have time to warn him, but the God of Mischief didn't need to. For he waved his hand, and his magic swayed the blast away from them, firing the multiverse space.
Loki calmly turned back to face them looking unfazed, "It seems that you're not as good at winning over people's hearts as you think."
"But the Power of Wakening only works if you are with that body," Mordo demanded more explanation in a rather irritating way.
Loki wasn't finished, "There was one last thing I needed in order for me to be whole again," he spreads his arms, and more blades began to appear. Sylvie and the others gasped in awe, each blade look different as if representing something. Some were thin, rapier, thicker, and even more slender. Some had Asgardian style of swords, and others have mystic signatures like the sorcerers. How? She silently counted them all, there were at least seven in total. How does he do that? "A connection," he finally answered, when he said that, she began to realize how, the bond we shared, "Sylvie helped me find my way back here, to my friends."
Kang scoffed, "I don't need hearts," he summoned his own portal behind him, but his portal looked way different than anything they had ever seen. For it's a circular door but no one can see what's inside, it's as if it's a black hole.
But Stephen immediately recognized it, "WAIT!" That portal is similar to the portal of the quantum realm. No one can enter it easily, not even the supreme sorcerer like him.
"I will scatter them all to the winds just like your soul," Kang waved his hand and used his other to hold Ravanna's, "What difference does one little life make? You have others anyway." And at that, he went through the portal and disappeared. Leaving Mordo with them.
The Dark Magician smirked, "It's just us now, and I'll finish what I started," he then made several fast hand gestures, working on his spell, and behind him appeared a dark entity. Its upper body floated behind him as if a shadow of himself but someone else's. From its head appeared two glowing yellow eyes, glaring daggers at them, a gaping gradient of shadow appeared to be a mouth with sharp canines under the eyes. "I've been waiting for this moment," the mouth of moved together with Mordo's. The Dark Magician is definitely possessed.
"Loki, we have to reform first," Stephen called behind him, "We are in his dimension, he's in advantage. We're weak here and I can't keep Sylvie safe."
Sylvie, of course, the God of Mischief prepared his blades in case Mordo decided to attack and ran behind him. As on cue, Mordo did attack. But the swords immediately turned into shields, defending them from any blasts from the possessed magician. How did Loki grow so quickly?
In a flash, Loki appeared before her, his eyes looked so frantic as he checked any signs of injuries on her. So much care for her. His hand immediately grabbed hers, and Stephen took that sign to give him space so that Loki can take his place by her side to hold her, "Are you okay?"
So exhausted, she managed to nod a bit and croaked, "You came back." Her heart surged seeing his face again, she had grieved for him, longing to see his face again. Now, he's here with her. Sylvie wanted nothing more than to embrace him, but when his soul joined the Power of Wakening, it had drained her energy. She didn't know this was part of the cost, but she didn't care so long as she can get him back to her, "If I weren't this exhausted, I'd slap you for that stupid move you made back in my cell."
Loki couldn't help but snicker but feel emotional at the same time to finally be able to reunite with her, "I knew you'd find me," he kissed her knuckles, missing her touch. He had only been able to watch her in her dreams, unable to embrace her, comfort her or be there for her. He didn't want to see her getting hurt again, "Please forgive me for what I had done to you…."
"Guys," Stephen interrupted their moment together, "We need to find a safer landing now."
The God of Mischief immediately brought her arms around his neck and picked Sylvie up in his arms, "Hold on to me tightly, okay?" She nodded and tightened her arms around his neck. When he knows that she won't fall off, he looked at Strange while still commanding his blades to block Mordo's attacks, "Where must we go?"
"Far away from him," Stephen said, "We have to get back to the real world. Follow me!" The Supreme Sorcerer glided towards the door leading outside the sanctum, and the rest followed while avoiding the floods of water. Loki summoned his shields and made a stairway for him and the twins since he can't glide.
Tommy, remembering his training with Loki, immediately zoomed past Loki and Billy until he was by his mother's side. Loki was impressed by the boy's progress, he had improved a lot. He gave the boy an impressed look from afar, and he was received with a grin on the boy's face.
As for Billy, while Loki was concentrating for the shields to be steady, he didn't notice the blasts that's heading straight at them until blue forcefield appeared before them and blocked the attacks. It took Loki a while to realize that it was Billy's magic that was protecting them, halting any damages. The child turned to face him to see if he and Sylvie and unharmed, Loki nodded, "You've improved," Billy returned with a slight grin on his face, "Come. We can't hold him back much longer," he hurried, making Billy turn back and run alongside with him until they reached outside with the others.
Stephen had already opened a portal for them all, but Mordo began shifting the dimensions, making it more difficult for them to reach the portal. He shifted them further and further away with moving dimensions of cities.
Loki scowled at the obstacles that Mordo is giving them, at this point, his only target is them. He had to move quick, "Strange, open the portal again." The Supreme Sorcerer was already on it and as Mordo was approaching them from a building that is coming at them, Loki's eyes glowed. In a blink, he had made projections after projections of them all, even the portals.
He can see Mordo's confusion of which was which, making him frustrated. As he tried to blast them away, he finds that more would replace them.
Loki turned back to Stephen, "Here's our chance," he whispered.
Stephen nodded, and the portal is leading them to Kamar-taj, "Quickly, all you." He leaped into the portal and the others followed, leaping through the shifting floors as fast as possible. Once everyone is in the real world, Stephen quickly closed the portal.
Loki still has Sylvie in his arms, safe and sound, but clearly drained. Her arms still managed to wrap around his neck, but her head down, he can feel her breathing uneven. "Sylvie," he softly called her, "Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"
She shook her head weakly, "I think," she coughed lightly, "I'm going to need to catch my breath."
In the corner of his eyes, he noticed Wanda approaching them, "Oh my god, it worked," she said with a shudder, and looked at him genuinely with a smile on her face, "You're back!"
He nodded, "Good to see you, Wanda."
She nodded back and her attention turned to Sylvie, "Oh god, Sylvie," she touched her shoulder, "I didn't know my powers could drain so much from you."
Sylvie lifted her eyelid half opened, "I suppose they didn't call you, Scarlet Witch for nothing," she weakly giggled.
Wanda warmly smiled at her, "I had a lot of training under Stephen for that."
"And the power to stand that magician is another superpower I'd like to know as well," she scoffed, making them both laugh.
"Her exhaustion is getting the better of her," Loki noticed, her breathing is weak, and she could barely move, "I need to bring her inside, preferably my room."
"While you're away, Sylvie resides in your room, Loki," Tommy chimed in. The adults turned to the source of the voice, completely forgotten that the kids were wrapped up in this mess as well. Loki also noticed that the boy picked up his vocabulary.
"Tommy, Billy," Loki called them, "Seems like you're doing better," He noted how these twins would grin and be ready to explode with so many stories while he was absent, but he can't listen to them now. Sylvie needs him, "But as much as I want to hear you tell your stories while I was away, I really need to take care of Sylvie. Okay?" He can feel her looking up at him, but he didn't look back at her for he must make sure that the twins understand how her health is more important.
The twins halted their about-to-chatters. They looked at each other for a while and looked back at him, "Okay."
Loki breathed a sigh of relief, "Good, thank you."
"I can help see what's up with her," Wanda said, "Maybe I can see how she'll get better faster."
He nodded, "Okay."
But just as they were about to leave for Loki's room, the clouds roar and the skies shattered like glass. All the sorcerers in the training ground halted everything they did and stared up above, trying to understand what's going on. And from the shattered glasses appeared dots and dots of humans coming closer to Kamar-taj. Thick mist began to spread and roll into the city as well.
"He's here," Wanda whispered in alert, she released two energy balls in her hands to prepare any attacks. And just on cue, something black darted their way from the roof of the temple and dove right at them with an ear-splitting scream. Wanda threw her blasts at it, and it disintegrates, "Get inside you all. I'll handle this with Strange."
Loki nodded, "Kids, come with me." He adjusted Sylvie in his arms and ran inside, the twins tailed along behind him. In the hallways, sorcerers were scrambling to get outside with weapons on their hands. The atmosphere of danger is palpable.
When they reached his room, Loki laid her on the bed carefully, not wanting to injure her. Sylvie looked exhausted, her eyes half-closed and dazed, though her breathing isn't hard, so that's good. He helped take her heavy armor off and left her with her original jumpsuit, hoping that it'll make her feel more comfortable, "You stay here and rest first yea?" She nodded, understanding her situation and the situation that they are in. Then he turned towards the twins, "Boys, I know that you want to be in action….."
"We'll stay with Sylvie," Billy immediately replied, which made the God of Mischief blink. The twins looked at each other and had a silent nodding agreement before looking back at Loki, "We'll keep an eye on her."
Well, I'll be damned, he thought. While he's not around, the twins matured. Why and how he's not sure. Nether less, he nodded to them both in acknowledgment, "thank you, both." The twins grinned.
"Loki," Sylvie croaked his name.
He responded quickly, sitting next to her and taking her hand in his, "Yea, Sylvie?"
"Don't you dare do any more foolish things again," she sighed, if it weren't for her exhaustion, she looks like she would've sounded more demanding and angrier, "You come back to me…. I can't….."
Loki gave her a warm smile, her concern for him reminded him so much about his mother. Begging and pleading to come back to her. He kissed her palm, "I will, you have my word. I'll fight in your place."
She nodded, "I can't handle Thor and Strange if you run off on your own for the second time."
He lightly chuckled, "Fair enough," he then leaned forward and kissed her lips, savoring the feeling of being able to be this close to her again. If it weren't for the battle, he'd love to stay by her side. They quickly broke apart, he rested his forehead on hers, and looked at her. Really looked at her, there are so many feelings going through him that he wants to tell her, but that'll be another time, "I'll come back to you, I promise."
He felt her nodding her head softly, and her hand cupped his cheek, "I love you, Loki," she whispered to him.
Loki's heart soared. He knew that she does, but to actually hear it directly from her is another matter entirely. He gave a light joy of laughter and kissed her mouth again, "And I you." He pulled back and stood up, already missing her warmth.
When he turned, the twins were looking another way as if they knew that they needed privacy. He can feel them innocently not knowing what's going on between them, which somewhat made him appreciate them, but irritate them at the same time. Tommy chimed, "Are you guys done?"
Loki scoffed, "I'm counting on you, boys. Look after Sylvie for me." He didn't look at the twins again to see their reaction as he ran out of the room and closed the door with the force of his magic.
When he left, the twins turned back to Sylvie, "Are you okay, Sylvie?" they sat next to Sylvie.
She nodded, "Just need to rest," she placed her hand on her forehead, "Then I'll go back to fight with your mom and the rest out there," she half-opened her eyes to look in their direction, "Thank you for staying with me, you two."
She was expecting a nod from them, but instead, they looked at each other and grinned. Oh no, they then looked back at her, "But when you're better, will you allow us to fight together with you?"
Sylvie lifted her hand, her eye wide open now, "What are you two getting on?"
"Ya' see," Billy sheepishly started, his tone sounding mischievous, "During our last fight with that bad guy where you told me and Mr Mobius to leave, Mom arrived with the others. And when she told Loki and Wong to find you, she taught me how to do that healing stuff."
Sylvie furrowed her brows, "You mean, you can help me….."
The son of the Scarlet Witch nodded vigorously, his eyes began to turn blue with a hint of mischief, together with his brother, "So….if I help you get better, you'll allow us to fight whatever is out there…. Right?"
Sylvie frowned. Yea, Loki taught them his tricks.
When Loki arrived at the training grounds, chaos has already surfaced. Dark sinister humanoid fogs are fighting the sorcerers of Kamar-taj and Wanda, it took Loki to realize that these things are the same creatures he vividly remembered fighting in dreams. The Dream Hunters!
It's chaos, everywhere. Stephen was the only one fighting Mordo, their magic turned incredibly strange as he was seeing him summoning tentacles.
Loki didn't know he could do that, but before he could ponder about it, three Dream Hunters charged at him with an ear-splitting screech. The God of Mischief quickly summoned his seven blades and swung them with his magic, it slashed the creatures and they all disintegrated to mist.
As more are approaching, he fought his way through to get to Wanda, having his blades to protect and attack for him. Everything is disarrayed and different areas are burning.
When he got to Wanda, she just finished blasting away five Dream Hunters at once with her scarlet magic. He stood by her side back-to-back, "What's the plan, Wanda?"
"Don't die," she threw another energy ball to a Dream Hunter.
"Don't die isn't a plan, it's a general demand of living," he grumbled, he waved his hand and three of his blades penetrated bigger Dream Hunters.
"Fine, we have to help Strange capture Mordo," she summoned a force field, blocking an incoming huge attack from numerous Dream Hunters, "Unfortunately, Mordo brought back up from Nightmare's realms."
"I've seen them," he said, "At least in the realm of dreams."
"Are you saying that these are the nightmares you fought when you were in Sylvie's dreams?" She looked at him with a look of surprise.
"Yea, they were countless. And I'm not sure if there could be any end."
Wanda looked back at the more coming figures of nightmares, "I think I have an idea," she then proceeds closed her eyes and projected her strength with her mind, her energy balls faded, and red mists surrounded her like a blanket. She lifts her palm up towards him, "Give me your hand."
He blinked, "I beg your pardon?"
"Just give me your hand," without hesitation, he did as he was told, "Now think of the happiest moment in your life."
"Why are we…."
"Just do it," she stated with a hint of demand and urgency.
He closed his eyes and thought about the happiest moments in his life, not understanding why this has to do with the battle they are in now.
Skimming through his memories, finding the most cherished moments in his life, he found himself thinking about the pranks he pulled with and to his brother. Turning into a snake and scaring him, their 'get help' tactics to get away from their lessons, his training and talks he had with his mother, the time his father Odin brought him and Thor to see the Kingdom. Those moments in his life weren't much but they shadowed the loneliness in his heart.
And the memories of the friends he was willing to trust fully for the very first time and led him to trust other people like Miren as well, Mobius. Though he had friends in his life, none would be as loyal as his TVA friend, the time when they looked through documents after documents for any signs of an anomaly for variants was one of the most exciting moments in his life as he proved his theory.
Then came along Wanda and the twins. Loki realized that his talks with Wanda were one of the refreshing moments. She's that person who'd be there if your heart is troubled and would gladly listen if something is bothering you. And her twins reminded him of his younger self and Thor. Competitions, playfulness, and youth. Training them felt like he was in his mother's shoes, as Sylvie noted.
And of course, his dear Sylvie. The person who drastically changed his life for the better, who made him reflect on his own actions in the past, and someone who truly understood his own feelings. It's strange how they hated each other at first, but after several exchanges, they realize that they are not so different after all. He cherished their first real conversation in that train, their near-death experience at Lamentus-1 when they were being honest with one another, and that was the moment Loki realized that he cared for her. That sense of care for her doubled when it turns out she pruned herself to find him, and that was when his heart spoke instead of his mind.
He cares deeply. Care for her well-being, and her as a whole. And being with her is the happiest moment in his life.
At that moment, when thinking of her, the screeches of the Dream Hunters intensified into pain. He opened his eyes to find that all the creatures knelt down and writhed in pain as if they were burned. In a second, they were all obliterated.
Loki looked around, everything fell silent except of the murmurs of surprise and the crackling of fires and rubbles. He turned to Wanda, "What did you do?"
"While you were gone, Strang and I went to another dimension, and found someone who was able to scare Nightmare away," she said, "And what he said is that he changed the nightmares to happy dreams to counter him," she then pouted in annoyance, "I can't believe I took the advice of an old crook."
"Welcome to my life," he mumbled back as he thought of Odin's constant rambling of him and Thor, "But that was impressive though."
"Thanks, you're not so bad yourself," she cheekily smiled. The smile disappeared when they can hear distant sparks and clashes of magic around the ruined temple of Kamar-taj.
He turned back to the Scarlet Witch, "Come on, let's go find Strange."
She nodded back and they both dashed towards the source of the clashes, leaping from ruins to rubbles.
And found Strange and Mordo in a standoff, both having their magic ready on their palms and glaring at each other.
"It doesn't have to be this way, Mordo," Stephen said, trying to convince his old friend to come back, "There has to be another way."
But Nightmare-Mordo replied with a sinister cackle, "You have brought this upon yourself, Strange."
"I didn't mean for any of this to happen. It wasn't even me in the first place."
"Too late," he grinned sickly, "And now, we have a bill to pay." His eyes then noticed Loki and Wanda, "Ahh, you dragged in your friends into this. And now, they too shall pay."
But the two of them were determined to catch him this time. They each ran to each of Stephen's sides and prepared their stance, "We won't let you get your way," Wanda hissed.
"Oh, but you already are," he grinned, his canine teeth slid out from his mouth, and his demonic eyes glanced at Wanda, "Starting from you."
As he said that, the Scarlet Witch's head began to feel an unbearable pain to the point she fell onto her knees. She clutched her head trying to contain the pain. Loki summoned his blades in case this was the first sign of attack from Mordo, he knelt beside her, holding her shoulder, "Wanda? What's going on? Are you okay?"
Wanda groaned in reply, the pain still getting to her, "Stay away from me!"
"What?" Before he could press on further, Wanda released a burst of energy from her body, knocking him and Stephen in separate ways. Loki groaned, still processing what happened. He got onto his feet fast to see what attacked them.
Only to find Wanda glaring at him with so much hatred and anger.
"Wanda," he realized his blades disintegrated during the blast, so he summoned again, just in case. When he looked at her carefully, her eyes were dark red, and her skin had turned a little darker. It's as if she's possessed. Loki lifted his hands up, "Calm down, I'm your ally." But Wanda didn't reply back, "You need to return to us, right now…."
But the Scarlet Witch wasn't hearing any of it, she immediately produced a dark blood red energy ball and threw it at him. Loki brought his blades in front of him, and it managed to block her attack.
"Your dear friend here is now under Nightmare's influence," Mordo cackled where he stood, "Her involvement with you, Strange, has led her to this. And now she paid the price."
"Bring her back," Stephen demanded with a growl. But Mordo only grinned. A dark portal then appeared way above them and Mordo made a stair to head towards it.
"He's getting away," Loki shouted while blocking another attack.
"Wanda, snap out of it," Stephen cried, but it only alerted her that there is another presence and she turned back and attacked him. The Supreme Sorcerer quickly brought up his mystic shields and blocked the attack.
Loki brought the back of the pommel, wanting to hit the Scarlet Witch unconscious but she managed to get ahold of his weapon. Her eyes burn with rage and try to overpower him while the God of Mischief is doing his best to hold her off and not hurt her at the same time. In the corner of his eyes, he saw the Mordo is getting away again, "Go after him, Strange! I'll hold her off!"
Stephen hesitated, but agreed anyway, "Don't die," Loki gave him a sarcastic look, to which Strange gave a small smile at him. And at that, he glided to the skies and made haste to go after the Dark Sorcerer.
Loki didn't see him leave as Wanda is giving him a hard time to even move, "Wanda! Open your eyes! You are under his control!" But his friend didn't seem to hear him, she didn't even say a single word. Only her eyes tell so much rage and hate towards him. He had to push her to a corner somehow and enchant her, but it's not easy when he didn't want to hurt her at the same time.
The God of Mischief grunted and pushed her with his magic with all his might. It managed to repel his possessed friend by a few feet as she got back to her footings. She looked at him furiously and produced two energy balls in her palms.
"Wanda! It's me!" Loki cried out, "I'm your friend!"
But she didn't listen and shot another blast at him, to which he dodged. The blast exploded and the wall behind him was destroyed to little bricks, "I don't have friends," Wanda shrieked.
Loki flared, he switched all his blades to shields and charged at her, "You are the witch who helped me find Sylvie, someone I cared for so much. You helped me find her before she was executed," he tried to convince her, "Come on, you are better than this, you damn old hag! You are the Scarlet Witch! You came all this way to be whole with your family! Do not throw those chances away!"
But Wanda only screamed, Loki began to notice that there are tears in her eyes leaking out. Was it working? What is she seeing? In a blink of an eye, she charged at him in a tremendous leap and aimed for his throat. She managed to break past his armors of shields and was already ready to tear him apart as she approached him. Loki summoned his swords again out of no choice, "WANDA MAXIMOFF, OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES!" he charged his magic energy and aimed at Wanda, blasting her all the way back. When she staggered back, he caught her and pinned her down with his hands and magic, "MAXIMOFF, DAMN YOU! DON'T MAKE DO THIS, WANDA!"
"LOKI!" he heard someone call to him, he turned to the source of the voice.
And found Sylvie and the twins staring at him. Some of the sorcerers are behind them as well.
Damn it, why are they here? "GET BACK INSIDE, SYLVIE!" He shouted in panic.
"Mom?" Billy noticed the woman underneath him. But he said it a little too loud, that she noticed another presence as well as she turned towards the children.
The twin's eye's widened looking at the condition of their mother, and Loki shouldn't have turned away. For she opened her palms and blasted him away from her, he was sent flying away from her and slammed against a ruined wall across. His breath was knocked out of his lungs, groaning in pain.
The possessed Wanda turned to her children and was giving the same rage towards them. Sylvie immediately knew that this Wanda isn't herself, she pulled the twins to stand behind her. "Sylvie," Tommy whimpered, "What happened to Mom?"
"Something is possessing her," she murmured, keeping the boys out of her view.
The possessed Scarlet Witch approached them sinisterly and blasted energy towards them. Sylvie immediately summoned her shields and blocked her attacks. "Get to Loki, see if he's okay."
Tommy nodded and brought his brother to get to Loki. But Wanda seemed to see through the twin's intentions she managed to stop his super-speed run, making Sylvie gasp! The twins are trapped within her magic, "WANDA STOP!" she blasted her magic at her, making her turn to the Goddess of Mischief but still managed to hold off her twins and block her attacks. She used her shields to attack her, diving straight at her. One missed, but the other knocked her to the ground.
The twins are then freed. Billy looked at his mother, noticing that she's possessed. He knows this magic! He can do this! Mom taught him before. "Tommy," he grabbed his arm, "Get to Loki, I'll try to talk to Mom with my magic."
Tommy, understanding what his brother can do nodded and he zoomed to Loki.
Billy inhaled and exhaled, trying to calm down. His mother needs him now, he has to give it a try. He lifted his hands and let his magic flow, trying to reach his mom, "Mom! It's me! Wake up!"
"Loki! Loki!" Tommy cried for his mentor, who is groaning at the ground, "You gotta wake up!"
"I'm trying," the God of Mischief grunted, getting up on his knees, "God, your mother has a packing punch," he began to stand up, and glared at the boy with frustration, "I thought I told you to stay inside with Sylvie! Which part of 'staying inside' did you not understand?"
"But Billy made her better," He protested, "And Sylvie promised that if he did, we can fight with you!"
What do I have to do to make people listen to me? But what's done is done, he needs to find a way to bring her back so that he can catch up with Strange.
"Billy said he's trying to reach out to Mom," Tommy said.
He turned to the child, "What?"
"Billy can change people's minds," he answered, "Just like back in Westview."
The child can enchant….Enchantment!
"LOKII!" Sylvie shouted, making them turn their attention to her, she was holding off Wanda's powers in a stand-off. Wanda is blasting more magic at her while Sylvie is doing her best to block her magic, "GET TO STRANGE!"
"I'm not leaving you here with her like that!" He shouted back.
"The twins can help me enchant her!" So she was thinking the same thing, "Help Stephen! If you don't, we'll lose Mordo again! I can help her!"
Loki was about to protest again but Tommy stepped in front of him, eyes filled with determination, "Let me save, my mom."
"Tommy, be serious…."
"This is what you trained us for," he said to him, "Please! Let me save my mom! You helped us train for this!"
Now he can't protest. He can feel a change in this boy and his brother, and for the better. He must trust them this time. "Alright," he finally nodded, "Don't hurt yourself, or your mother isn't going to give me and Sylvie a break."
The child nodded and he immediately zoomed to his brother.
Loki glanced at Sylvie and gave her a nod, be careful, he mouthed. She quickly nodded and focused back on blocking Wanda.
The God of Mischief made stairs of shields and head towards the dark portal in the skies. Hold on, Strange.
