"Hey Jason, "
"Hey Kim I have some big news"
"so do I but you go first"
"I'm the new black gold ranger ... shoot I have to go, call you back" and with that Jason hung up.
Several Hours later
"Jason you said you were going to call?" Kim pouted
"Sorry sis we have a new enemy and gee they are tough they go after your weakness. The Machine Empire they call themselves. I'm so glad you are where you are safe from them, Tommy couldn't handle if you no? Hey sorry you were going to tell me something" Jason replied
Kim looked down at he belly and rubbed it, "Oh I just wanted to let you know that I have been pushed up to group B . If I keep training well I will make the main team" she gave a tight smile
"Congrats Kim keep working hard we are behind you. I'm just gonna apologies now for the team this enemy is tough and we may not get in touch with you as much. Hey I need to go to bed but will talk to you later" Jason didn't wait for a reply and hung up.
It's already hard to talk to anyone at home Kim pouted to herself and she went to bed herself
Weeks later
"Wow Kim you look amazing" Melissa Oliver said, Tommy's mum had decided to visit Kim in Florida whilst she was there for a doctor's conference. She knew the poor girl didn't have family to come and support her and her friend tried there hardest but Melissa knew the kids were Power Rangers so there time wasn't always there own.
"Thanks Mama Oliver. Why didn't you tell me you were coming" Kim asked hugging the person she saw as he second mum
"I wanted to surprise you, darling you feel warm are you okay?"
"Yes I have been a little off but the doctors on the team say I'm fine" Kim said pulling a slight face
"Okay" Melissa said concerned for someone who she hope would be her daughter in law in the future, " can I take you out for lunch then maybe give you a once over myself?" she questioned
Kim replied, " Mama I'll be okay I just been working to hard maybe my body is saying I need to rest for a day, but Lunch would be perfect"
"Okay my darling girl go and get changes and I will wait at the front.
Melissa and Kim enjoyed a wonderful lunch where Kim was explaining everything she was doing and Melissa return in talking about the conference, her job and Tommy. Once they had finished Melissa offer to treat Kim to a mini shopping spree as a gift back for the times Kim brought clothes for Tommy. Kim tried to refuse but Melissa would take no for an answer.
After while the girls stop there clothes shopping and Melissa brought food shopping for Kim as Kim need to stock up her fridge. And then Kim took Melissa back to her apartment so they could make dinner. Melissa shoo Kim out of the kitchen when they got back So she could cook Kim dinner, Kim put her stuff away then came back into the living room where she lied down on the couch whilst talking.
Melissa was finishing dinner when she realise Kim was no longer talking, she went to investigate and saw Kim fast asleep. She realise how tired her daughter was and decide to get a blanket so Kim could sleep for awhile. When Melissa came back in she saw pink energy going around Kim's body then into her belly, Melissa placed the blanket over Kim and felt her forehead.
"Oh my poor girl you are quiet warm" Melissa went to grab her thermometer as she fear Kim was having some power withdrawals.
The bag read 41 so Melissa went into the bathroom to get a cold compress, once she had placed it on Kim s forehead she rang the coach to give Kim a day off. The coach told Melissa that Kim worked very hard and they were happy to give her a day off.
Several hour later Kim woke up Melissa was on the other chair doing some work whilst waiting for Kim to wake
"What happen" Kim said
"Oh darling you must have been so tired that you past out, but you were also running a fever so I have been trying to keep you cool. Kim I have to be honest I know that you and Tommy are power rangers (Kim open her mouth and shut it again in shock) and when I covered you with the blanket I saw pink energy go around your body then go into your belly. So I'm guessing you are going thru power withdrawals as well"
"I don't think that's all" Kim said quietly
"Kim talk to me you know I see you as a daughter in law. That I hope you and Tommy get married and have children together"
"Mama I have been feeling ill I had a doctor appointment but they say I'm fine, my boobs hurt, I have been vomiting, missed my last period and when I have taken the test it comes up positive. But when I the doctor have given me comes up negative" Kim started to cry
"Kim I will ask a colleague tomorrow for there office and we can do a scan to see what is going, all of those sign say you are pregnant. Are you happy with that?" Melissa asked
Kim nodded and wiped her noes, Melissa got up and grabbed Kim s dinner and made her ear it.
"Okay I rang your coach your not training tomorrow and I will call you in the morning when the office will be available to me"
"Okay thank you Mama"
With that Melissa left and Kim called Tommy.
