Several weeks later Kim had heard from the gang that Tommy was so distracted he had been hurt too many times, so she called Melissa and told her she was sending the letter and to be prepared. Tommy was so heart broken and even shut his parents out, it broke Melissa heart but she knew for now this was the best.

"I can't believe she did this to him. He loved her" Marcus shouted a couple days later in the kitchen Melissa turned around

"She does truly love him, but this needs to be done. Trust me" Melissa pleaded with Marcus to say no more

"What do you know and why would you break our sons heart" he replied quietly and concerned

"Cause he is the saviour and he needs to concentrate on what is in front of him. Please don't ask anything else" she said and left for work.

On the way she called Kim to see how she was going she knew that Kim had kept training and was heading out of the first trimester.

"Hi Kim how are you going?"

"Feeling great no longer vomiting, feeling hungry all the time and not putting on weight. This whole pregnancy is weird I thought I might have a little belly by now but nothing"

"that's good Kim I'm so glad you symptom are lessening, but I was ringing about the other thing"

"Oh, that part not so good, I miss talking to him. And nobody will return my calls they all hate me. Even Trini and Zack who are in Switzerland won't talk to me"

"Shit I didn't think the others would take sides"

"Mama we did this, it's for the best. He needs to concentrate and fight the machine Empire and with the team on his side he can concentrate"

"Kim I'm sorry"

"Don't I have 3 more months then I compete things may change. I just need to be focused here"

"Okay you know my work hours call me when you need to talk and I will see you next month for another check up"

"No worries bye Mama" and with that Kim hung up

Later that night Kim was walking thru the park and was going over the conversation with Melissa she knew for now she was on her own and began talking Karate lessons to hone her skills it made her miss Tommy and Jason even more but she needed to protect herself. She looked up she saw something purple flashing she decided to investigate, she walked over and saw a crystal on the ground. She picked it up "wow it's pretty" she thought, then the crystal began to glow and a stream of light went straight into Kim and she felt the power. She looked down at her hands then the rest and there she was dressed in a Purple Ranger outfit. All of a sudden the Cogs turned up and Kim began to fight them she easy defeated them when a monster turned up he had no chance she took him out quickly. She never power down she was transport back to her apartment where she power down. She felt very dizzy and sat on her couch "wow that was amazing" she thought and past out

The next day the Power Rangers were at the Command centre when Zordon informed them of a new Ranger in Florida. They all turned to the viewing globe where they saw The Purple Ranger easily defeat the Cogs and a monster

"Wow this Ranger is Amazing" Billy said, "I wonder who he is?"

"We are not sure Rangers there is something blocking our sensors to scan the body but we do hope this person is on our side" Alpha replied.

Jason turn back to Zordon, "I wonder if We can contact this person. They may be able to help us defeat the Machine Empire"

"we can try and see how we go Rangers "

The Power Rangers left whilst Zordon, Billy and Alpha tried to figure out how to contact the newest Ranger.

"Hi Kat, Tommy" Melissa said walking into her house seeing the to on the couch doing homework. Melissa knew Kat had a big crush on her son, but for some reason Kat rubbed her the wrong way. Tommy had ducked to the bathroom and Kat followed Mrs Oliver into the kitchen, "Kat what are your intention with my son?"

Kat stuttered, " I'm not sure what you mean?"

"Look Katherine I know you like my son, but he has just got out of a long term relationship and I would like him to heal rather him start dating again. Do you get my meaning"

"But if he is ready?" Kat got out

"You tell him No. I have nothing against you, Kat I just want to see my son be happy again. And I don't think you would truly do that for him" and with that Melissa left Kat in the kitchen.

Over the next month Kim had dealing with the machine Empire on her own in Florida and not telling anyone about what was going on. Melissa had come to check on her saying the baby was healthy and that there was still no baby bump at 4 and half months. They both now truly believed the baby was protecting its mother which both made them smile.

Kim was fighting a monster on morning when he started to tell her that they had successful kidnapped the Red ranger and was going to wipe his mind. Kim destroyed the monster then try to figure out how she could get to Tommy and save him.
