I won't say much. Enjoy!

"It suits you," Sylvie murmured sleepily as she traced her fingers delicately on his chest.

Loki looked down at her, wondering what she meant. They had stayed on the bed for quite some time that they thought the world belonged to them at that moment, "What does?"

"Your new outfit," she looked up at him, "You have quite a fashion taste," he fingers then snaked up to the hood of his coat and felt its material, "Is this common wear of the Asgardians?"

"Yes," his outfit changed when he felt a new surge of power when the Power of Wakening was released in him. It reminded him of his old outfit, except it's more flexible and somewhat mysterious and hidden with the addition of the hood. He felt stronger and renewed, and a new surge of determination flowed in his veins, "Though with a mix of the Midgardians. So, I think it's half-half."

She laid her head on his chest again, "You look more refreshing in them."

Loki chuckled, "I think so too," he kissed the top of her head. It's nice to be able to see her more relaxed now. "And you look a lot more different now."

"Really? How so?" she hummed.

"You look happier," he simply said, she blinked. He had noticed she had frowned less, and a new kind of happiness seem to take over her, "You don't seem to be thinking elsewhere anymore."

She giggled, and laid her head on his chest again, "Maybe because you're finally here."

"It's a different kind of happy actually," he said. Unlike when she was still in her cell, she didn't really show much joy. But now, it is, "I just can't pinpoint."

She hummed, as they fell silent for a while, she finally spoke, "I met your mother."

He looked down, "Frigga?" He had felt his mother's presence when his soul was sleeping inside him, but he wasn't certain.

She nodded, "I was drawing a blank on how to find you," she was drawing random doodles on his chest with her fingertip, "And Thor suggested to speak to her."

"I take it you were reluctant at first," when he first suggested that she was sceptical of the idea.

"Yea, but I had no choice," she murmured, not looking at him, "Thor said she was the best magic wielder he had ever known. So, naturally, I believe him."

"Did it help?" he asked genuinely.

She nodded, "Follow the heart, and you'll find the way," she looked up at him, "That's something that your father told me."

"My father?" Now Loki felt a little puzzled, "So you met them both?"

"It's hard to explain," she pulled away from him and sat up, much to his disappointment, "I went to Asgard to meet your mother. It turns out she's not familiar with soul magic. However, she helped me connect with your soul."

"Ahh," he understood now, "My mother paved a path to help strengthen our connection."

She nodded, "Your soul, it connects with mine," she held his hand, "It also connects to your heart. Your mother helped me find you in my heart." Loki blinked as she said that, it sounds like a sappy old romance story and it doesn't look like she's used to this kind of thing. This made her blush that these kinds of words are coming from her.

Loki chuckled at her realization, he sat up and squeezed her hand in encouragement, "Go on."

"Well," she cleared her throat, "That's when I found your father."

"Odin?"

She nodded, "he said he was a manifestation of your memories, a connection you had with your father. And that's when he gave me that advice. To follow my heart so that I can find you."

Loki felt a small pang of longing for his father. He had always admired him, to want him to notice him the way Thor did. And to think that he too had opened his heart to him so that he can live in him is something he never thought about. His father truly loved him, and it guided Sylvie to find him too. "I'm…." he sighed, looking down at their linked hands, "I'm pleased to know that we aren't dysfunctional after all."

Sylvie placed her free hand on his cheek, wiping out a small tear he didn't know was welling, "Your father wished he had more time with you, and he had regretted the decision that made you feel lesser," she pulled their heads together until their foreheads touched, "He loved you very much, Loki. More than you ever thought he would."

"Yea, I loved him too," he felt his presence in his heart, it's probably because Sylvie had unlocked more doors to their true relationship. And he's glad that she did, he tucked her under his chin, "I'm glad you met him."

She nodded, he felt her so relaxed in his arms, "You would've loved to meet him," she whispered to him, "Just as I loved meeting your mother."

"What were they like?" he asked, it's his turn to be curious about his own parents. With his new eyes, they are different. And he wished he could see them again in his current self.

"Well," she moved her head and kissed his cheek, "They were good," she placed her head on his shoulder and sighed, "Perhaps you'd love them even more now, just as I have. Especially your mother. I can now see why you adore her very much."

He nodded, and hugged her tighter, kissing the space between her brows, "I'm certain I will," he whispered, feeling a little emotional, "I miss them."

She hugged him tighter, "Me too," she murmured, "Is it strange? That I missed someone I just met?"

He shook his head, "Not at all," he pulled away to look at her in the eyes, "Anyone who knows her, loves and adored her very much."

"When you were inside me," Sylvie looked at him in the eyes, "Did you not feel your mother reaching out to you."

"I did," he said, "But it was more to dreaming than feeling her," he thought back at the time he was unconscious, and he was dreaming, "I remember dreaming a lot. Of you and Mobius. Of Wanda and the others too, and" he looked at Sylvie, "dreaming of my mother. It's like, I haven't really been asleep at all."

She nodded, "You were with me all along."

Loki then kissed her cheek, "I felt your pain," he murmured, "You were calling for me." Even when he was dreaming, there were times he could feel what she felt. Mostly, the strongest emotion he felt from her was her pain.

She stayed silent for a while before nodding, "I did," her voice cracked, "I didn't understand what you were doing or what you mean, and I thought I'd never see you again," she began to sob again, "I saw you in my dreams, you were captured or fighting, and I tried to reach you but…"

"I understand," he pulled her to him, "I was in your Dreamworld."

"You were?"

"For some reason, I was brought to that world. And Nightmare was trying to get you," He didn't know he was in a dream world when different memories started appearing and bits of her own shaped the world. However, as his soul was inside her, the dreams collided. And when he encountered the Dream Hunters, he had to manipulate the Dreamworld so that Nightmare cannot infiltrate her true memories. Her dreams were countless events of disasters and apocalypse that was enough to trigger any dreadful dreams that Nightmare can feed off. Loki did everything in his power to stop them from invading her dreams, "Nightmare's lackeys tried to get you and feed off from your nightmares, and I had to stop him."

"So, those times I saw you fighting….were real?" Sylvie asked.

"I think so?" he said, "I was fighting Dream Hunters, that's all I know."

Sylvie let out a breath of joy, she smiled at him with tears falling down her cheeks, "Even asleep in me, you are still protecting me," she kissed his lips, "My knight in shining armour."

He chuckled, "Then that makes you the princess who kept me close to her heart," he kissed her back, sucking her bottom lip, "You kept me safe all this time, away from Mordo. Thank you, my dear."

"The same goes here," she murmured back, caressing his cheek, "my nightmares must've stopped because of you," she wrapped her arms around his neck, "I love you." It's easier to say now, she has been wanting to say this to him when she lost him. Now that he's here, she wants him to know.

Loki moaned into her mouth, "I love you too," He too finds it more natural to say it now. These are the kinds of feelings he doesn't express a lot, and now that he can freely say it makes it feel like a relief. He kissed her back with equal passion and care. Their last kisses were either quick or a start of something. But this….this is a declaration of their confession. That they are in all the way, and there's no shadow of doubt of the love they shared. Oh, the things he'd do to her to make her scream in pleasure if it weren't for the thin walls and how sacred this place is. Perhaps he'd find a place for them to have more privacy.

"As much as I want to stay here all day with you," Loki pulled her away as her lips chased his mouth, "I think I owe my gratitude to our friends, and I want to thank them properly."

She pouted innocently, seemingly not wanting to face reality now as he does, "I'm tempted to just teleport us out of here."

"Sounds tempting," he chuckled, "But we have much to discuss with the others on what to do next."

"Fine," she gave him another kiss, "And then, we'll continue where we left off."

"I look forward to it," he smiled and got off the bed. He turned around and offered his hand to her, she took it without hesitation, and he pulled her up, and he hugged her, "I missed this."

"Me too," she hummed, "No more solo missions for you, mister. And I'm not going to leave your side ever again now."

He lightly laughed, "Yes, ma'am," The God of Mischief then lightly tickled her stomach, making her giggle, "And I expect you to not push me away again."

Sylvie scrunched her nose, and looked down sheepishly, "I'm sorry about that."

"It's okay," he leaned down to kiss her lips, lifting away from her pressure, "We're here now. Together."

She nodded, "Together."

The two gods walked down the hallway, passing by ruins that needs fixing. In all cases, the temple seems to be restored. Some of the sorcerers already got to work, using their magic to fix some of the damages.

"Where do you think they are?" Sylvie asked as they walked hand in hand.

"I may have a guess," he tugged her hand, "Come on."

He led them to the training grounds, where sure enough, their friends are discussing something there. They were coordinating with the Minute Men before some of them went through the TVA portals and some still stuck around to help with the sorcerers. Stephen was talking with Wong while Wanda and Billy were helping some of the sorcerers to heal.

"I feel bad for moping around now," Sylvie murmured with a tone of guilt.

"We'll help them now," he squeezed her hand, before releasing them as they both broke to a jog, "Everyone."

Their friends turned to see the coming gods heading towards them. Wanda was the first to break into a huge smile at the sight of them, "Loki! Sylvie!" She greeted Sylvie first with a friendly hug, "How are you feeling now?"

She nodded, "Better than ever." Wanda whispered something to Sylvie, making her blush and giggle at the same time, "Oh shut it you." The Scarlet Witch too giggled.

Loki kneeled as Billy came up to him, he gave the boy a high five, to which the boy clapped his hand with delight, "How are you doing while I was away, boy?"

"My magic is improving," the boy said proudly, "My forcefield magic is better now."

"I saw it," he remarked in acknowledgement, "You've grown stronger now." Billy grinned with pride, Loki then stood up and looked around, "By the way, where is your –"

Loki never get to finish his question when a sudden solid whirlwind charged his chest, sending him flying back several feet away from Bill. He groaned, wondering what hit him. Did they miss an enemy? All worries faded away when a cheerful cry chimed, "Pinned ya!"

Loki looked upon his chest to see Tommy sitting smugly on his chest, grinning like his brother. He frowned, "Boy!"

"Did I stay downwind just like you said?" He asked excitedly as if wanting to prove himself to him.

"Well to be fair, I was speaking with your brother. Now, get off me," Loki sat up, and the boy zoomed to his brother's side. The twins giggled obnoxiously, making him frown. But at the same time, they reminded him of himself and Thor when they were younger. He stands up and patted his back, releasing the dirt sticking on him.

"Loki," Wanda walked up to him, he turned in her direction. She looks happy to see him, which is something he's not usually used to aside from Sylvie. Without realizing it, she hugged him, "Thank goodness you're back, we thought we failed to find you."

Loki felt dumbfounded, "Emm, yea," he hugged her back, "It's good to see you well and healthy too."

She pulled back, "We missed you so much," she smiled happily, she genuinely looks so happy to see him, "Especially the twins," each of her kids stood by her side and smiled at him. They have the smiles of their mother.

"Well," he cleared his throat, "It's good to see you all too." At the back of Wanda, Stephen walked up towards him. His face didn't show any joy or relief, rather an acknowledgement, "Strange."

"Loki," he replied back, "Good to see that you're back with us again," he extended his hand to him. He looked awkward but he can tell that he means well.

Loki complied, taking his hand and shaking it firmly, "I owe you my return to you as well. Thanks," expressing his gratitude to this man was strange, but it felt right.

He nodded back, pulling his hand away from him, "Right back at you, your assistance saved Kamar-taj too. And the world." He then noticed Wong at the back, "Wong," he greeted with a wave of his hand.

Wong walked up to him, "You did a ballzy move back there," he chuckled and gave him his arm, and Loki complied by clapping his hand and giving him a tight squeeze at it.

"You think so?" he grinned.

"Just don't do that again. It's a pain in the ass to find you," he grumbled, "Right, I'll leave you all first, your TVA friend is here to interrogate Mordo, and I want to check on them."

"Mobius?"

"Yes, I'll tell him that you're back though."

"It's fine, tell him when he's done with whatever business he has with Mordo."

"Okay, I'll see you all later," he waved at them all a salute and walked back into the temple.

Loki felt a warm feeling to be greeted by friends. It's a nice feeling, he could get used to this. He then turned back to the others, "Now that Nightmare is gone, do you think Mephisto will be asleep permanently?"

"Unless someone like Mordo woke him up again, yes," he said, "Were you able to locate Mephisto in the Dark Dimensions?"

"Sadly, when I woke up in the Dark Dimensions, he wasn't with me," he answered, "He must've believed that having me there might give away his true location." Loki tried to hide his disappointment, he was hoping that when he awoke, he could find him and destroy him. But it seems that the devil is smarter than he thought.

"However, your last location there might shed some light," Stephen said as if he read his disappointment, "But with Dormammu still lurking there, we might want to give it a while first before we investigate."

"Is it better to just leave it be?" Sylvie asked.

"That could be an idea," Stephen answered, "However, we don't want anyone to wake him up again. So, I think, if we put him permanently to sleep, and no spells can ever wake him up again, it'll be better."

"I take it this is your area of expertise," Loki asked.

"Somewhat," he said, "In other words, we have finally minimized the Multiverse war. Congratulations to all of us. Even if Kang were to interfere, it won't be as damaging as it was before. And we know the last location he has left us."

"But how do we know the last Kang was the real Kang?" Sylvie asked.

"There was a woman beside him this time," he answered, Loki remembered that damn woman's smug face, making his blood boil, "From the rest of the Kangs we have met, none of them brought someone with him. The closest was Mordo, but he's now in our hands. I believe the last Kang we met was the real one."

"Can you locate where he last went even though it's the Mirror Dimension?" Wanda asked.

"Yes, we can," Stephen said, the training grounds were beginning to fill up and the Sorcerer Supreme looked uncomfortable, "I suppose we better discuss this in the library. Come."

"Wait," Loki halted them all, making Strange turn to him. He walked slowly to him, "We had a deal, and we've upheld that part of the bargain. I expect that you will too."

"What bargain?" Sylvie asked, she turned to him. But seeing that he's not going to turn to her yet, she turned to Wanda. The Scarlet Witch only gave her a soft smile.

"Ah yes, of course. You were right," Stephen said, he then made several hand gestures and mystic magic began to circle encircle his hands, "I'll take the runes out of you both now." And at that, Loki and Sylvie's hands began to glow. The odd drawing began to appear from the palms of their hands, Stephen then clenched his hands, and the runes broke to sparks and turned to dust. Suddenly, she felt a slight relief in her chest, as if there were once bonds that constricted her now lifted away, "There, the spell is destroyed."

"Wait, what was that?" Sylvie turned to them all in confusion, the others looked away as if sensing that this isn't something that they all have the liberty to say. Well, save for him and Stephen.

"As I said," Stephen cleared his throat, "It's best we discuss this in the library."

"But…."

"I'll tell you everything there," He said, "And this is better discussed amongst ourselves. I promise you that."

Sylvie looked conflicted, and it seems that she wanted to demand more answers. Loki had to agree with Stephen about this, "Sylvie," he holds her hand and squeezes it, "We'll speak about this there, yea?"

"What are you hiding from me?" she asked in a rather desperate tone. Stephen walked towards the temple and the rest followed, including her and Loki,

"Stephen will tell everything there," he answered calmly, "I promise you, whatever happens, it'll be fine."

She pursed her lips, looking sceptical about this but nodded anyway, "Okay."

He brought her hand to his lips, "Okay."

"Now tell me what's going on," Sylvie started as they entered the library and gathered at the corner of the room. Strange didn't even get to say what he wanted to say beforehand, "I feel like I'm missing something out that I have the right to know."

Loki slinked his hands into his pocket and leaned on the table, then his eyes looked to Strange as if he wants him to begin something. Wanda gave him a small smile of encouragement as if telling her that it'll be fine. Strange opened his mouth, "On the day when we arrested you, and you were unconscious, there were many decisions that we all must eliminate you."

"I remember," she said. Loki watched her from the side, standing a few feet away from her, "And Loki talked things through."

"Yes, there were more to that. When you were unconscious, I had a rune cast on your hands," he pointed at his hands, Sylvie lifted them and looked as if they were still there, "Those runes were tracking runes."

"Meaning…."

"It was an alternative to your execution," Stephen said, "At first, many wanted you dead. However, as you may recall, Loki spoke on your behalf."

The huge argument broke out right after their last battle with Kang and arrested Sylvie. She was put into a deep sleep right after her capture, and Strange announced that the people working on behalf of Secretary Ross wants her, most possible executing her too. Because of that, the God of Mischief and Sorcerer Supreme were in a heated argument in the council room, one wants to turn Sylvie to answer her crimes while the other wants her safe. Wanda, Thor and Mobius could only watch. Sylvie remained asleep on the floor.

But the discussions were going nowhere and one of them finally snapped.

Loki threw an energy blast at Strange, the sorcerer blocked it, but it caused a huge explosion, breaking the window at the same time. Loki quickly carried her in his arms and leapt out the window.

He landed on the training grounds gracefully, he looked down, checking if Sylvie's fine. Thankfully, she is still fast asleep in his arms, her head leaning on his arm and her face peaceful. He was tempted to run, but that won't solve anything, and he knew it. No matter what, he's going to keep her safe.

He turned back to where he escaped and found Wanda already gliding towards him.

Loki growled, "Back off, Maximoff. This is not your concern."

"Loki, I know you are upset," she raised her hands up, the glow in her hands disappeared, "But running away won't change the fact that they are going after her."

"And I'm not going to let you all kill her when the real culprit is out there plotting various schemes."

"But we don't know what she'll plan if we let her go," Wanda said, "I don't think killing is the right way, but running away from them again won't solve anything too."

"Yea, tell that to your little friend there." As on cue, Stephen emerged from the window, gliding towards Wanda and stood beside her, "Sorry, Stephen. I can't let you kill her. She's not a threat to anyone, and I know she won't be."

He sighed, "Must we always end up fighting?"

"If that's what I have to do to protect her, so be it," Loki glared at them, summoning his blades as it floats in the air, preparing to attack. If he has to face the world to protect Sylvie, then he will.

Stephen summoned his mystical magic from his palms, but Wanda looked conflicted. To his shock, Wanda jumped to stand between Strange and Loki, "Stephen, this has to stop."

Strange groaned, "Not you too, Wanda…."

"No, Loki has a point," she exclaimed, "This Sylvie is on our side. You saw her fighting alongside us, she helped me find my twins. I think killing her may be a mistake and we'll only be doing what Kang wants instead."

"Well, what do you expect we do?"

"How about we all sit down and talk about it…."

"We did, and this is what it has led to," Loki answered rather quickly.

Her hands began to glow, and her eyes shines blood red, "If the both of you throw one more blast again, I swear, I'll make sure you both stop." Neither man would dare to face the wrath of the Scarlet Witch, Strange turned off his magic and Loki disappeared his blades, no longer in a flight or fight mode. Sylvie is still in deep sleep in his arms. They each nodded, Wanda finally crossed her arms, "Good, now let's speak with civil manners, boys."

Strange sighed, "Fine, but that doesn't change the fact that Sylvie must answer to her crimes. People here want justice, Loki," Strange replied, "Hand her over."

"Can't we speak to them?" Wanda suggested, "I too was responsible when Sakovia fell. And Stark was able to speak on my behalf, that's why I was able to live in America."

"The Avengers are long gone, Wanda," he said, "I too am not in authority to be able to speak on her behalf. Thor might be able to, but Asgard is now on Earth. While New Asgard is here, and under the protection of the people here, he too can't say."

"Whose side are you on, Strange?" Loki demanded as he changed the subject.

"Of humanity," he replied.

"And yet you are going to do a favour for Kang by erasing her existence, how does that even work?"

"It's either she is transported elsewhere, or you answer to the military out there waiting for us to hand Sylvie over. And you have no power over them if you want to be their ally now."

"Then how about we make a deal?" Loki finally said, "If she dies, then I'll come with her."

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that, brother," A strong boomed behind Strange and Wanda. The three magic wielders turned to see Thor walking towards them, statics of lightning sparking around his fingers, "We need all the people we can get. Things are getting unruly out there, and I won't lose you again."

"Thor," He nodded towards his brother, "Great for you to join us. But this is my problem, not yours. So you can…."

"The last time I was with my brother, he told me that 'the sun will shine upon us again," he walked past Stephen and Wanda and looked at him. Thor's eyes were full of trust and determination towards him, "At first, I thought it'd be the day we get our revenge on Thanos. But over time, I clearly realize that that was wrong. Now, that you are here, I think I have a different opinion to what the other you told me," Loki smiled at his brother and he gave a strong pat on his shoulder before turning to Strange and Wanda, "If you are going to take Loki, then tell them to answer to me," small statics began to arise from his fingers.

Wanda looked at the exasperated Strange, who looked somewhat frustrated, "I don't know what you want me to do, but I don't have anything to present her case."

"Perhaps I can," the voice of an elderly man came from behind again, Mobius appeared from the entrance, jogging towards them, "Geez you guys, you gotta teach me to fly some time. I can't keep up."

"Speak your mind," Strange said.

"Sheesh you are a very serious man for someone who caused strange people to come to this place," Loki raised his brows, and Mobius readjusted his tie, "So, back at the TVA we may have a few documents about Sylvie. If we can show SWORD those files, maybe they'll know that it was Kang who planned this all along. And that killing her would only be a bad idea."

"That may not be strong evidence," Loki remarked.

"Yea, but here's the thing," he lifted his finger up, "We have witness testimonies, which are you guys and the people in this place. But sadly, that won't be enough to give Sylvie her freedom."

The five of them looked down, not seeing any way out of this either. Loki looked at Sylvie's peaceful face, this is perhaps the only time she looked so relaxed. She had told him that she's always on the run, but to have her handed over while he's here is another matter entirely. He can do something, and he will. He looked up again, "What if we make a deal, Strange?"

"What?"

"You want her too because she caused the multiverse," he said, "What if I can prove everyone wrong that she fights for us if we find Kang again….but in the meantime, she'll be on probation here. In Kamar-taj. Under your watch."

"I don't see why not," Strange hummed, "but that won't be enough. Especially to the people working for Ross."

"I'll go in Sylvie's place," he said with determination, he felt eyes looking at him in confusion, "You want to arrest me, torture me, use me as your pawn or puppet. Fine. But I want a guarantee that Sylvie will be safe, and no harm comes to her."

"Brother…." Thor began.

"Sorry brother," he brushed him off and stared at Strange, and he hates to admit it but he's going to do something he had never done before, "You want to see a chance to have me imprisoned for a better reason, here's your chance. I'm unarmed and I yield," he summoned his blades and shields, and dropped them to the ground while still holding Sylvie in his arms, "you can take me now to SHIELD or SWORD or whatever cult organizations are here. But I want Sylvie to be here instead of there."

Everyone, including Strange, was shocked to his resolve, at how fierce Loki was. Even Loki himself couldn't believe what he was saying, but he had to make sure Sylvie's safe, she deserves that. Strange crossed his arms and looked down, "What a resolve, Odinson," he said.

"Loki," Thor began, "This is madness, you can't just give yourself to them on this woman's behalf."

"I can, and I will," Loki determinedly said, "I don't believe these Midgardians will treat her well, and Sylvie doesn't deserve that. Not after what the TVA had done to her," He then looked at Strange, "And hearing that you were a man of honour, and once fought alongside my brother, I know that you won't treat her like an animal the way these people do."

Strange huffed, "You are one to bargain."

Loki scrunched his nose, "It's something I got from my mother," he made a silent thank you to his mother for teaching him the art of bargaining, "So, what do you say, Strange? A man to man's deal. Do you accept?"

Strange eyed everyone as if absorbing different opinions. He eyed particularly at Thor, whom he presumed had worked together with during the battle with Thanos. After a while, he sighed, "Very well, perhaps I can accept that," Loki sighed in relief, "To be honest, I don't comply with men working for the government. We don't do that," the Sorcerer Supreme looked at Loki, "I won't arrest you, but you are now to work under me from now on."

Loki stiffened, to work under this clown? What absurd is this? But thankfully, he was good at hiding his disappointment. And he must do this for her, he nodded, "Fine, so I get a badge that says I'm now a sorcerer?" he mocked.

The Sorcerer Supreme frowned at his sarcasm, "No, however," he then made several hand gestures and summoned something from his palms, which appeared at Loki and Sylvie's hands, "One wrong move from either of you, and you're off to SWORD's prison. I know what they plan to do with you and I know it won't be nice, perhaps they'd want to kill you too," he said darkly, "I will not take this bargain lightly."

Loki snorted, "What did you cast on us?"

"It's a rune where I can send you directly to the people of SWORD," he answered, "The agents told me about their little prison, and I assure you that it's far worse. So, it's either here or there."

The God of Mischief gritted his teeth, "Fine, but I expect her to not be treated any less than."

Strange quirked his brow up.

"My objection stands. Sylvie shouldn't be a prisoner, it's Kang," Loki determinedly stated, "You got the wrong person to imprison, the least you can do is not treat her as one." His mother was the one who didn't make him feel like a prisoner when he was arrested by Odin, and like his mother before him, he will do the same for her.

"You are making quite a demand for her," Strange hummed, "How certain are you that she's not going to repeat the same mistake she did with you again?"

"I am," he hummed, "You want to use me as your pawn or lab rat, then that's my terms and agreements that you must sign, Strange. It's simple, just keep Sylvie safe and not treat her like a prisoner. I'm not asking you to move the mountains. And if it turns out that we are trustworthy, then you release us from your damn runes. What do you say?"

The Sorcerer Supreme continued to glare at him, no one said a word. His eyes began to scan everyone else, who seemed to be in favour of Loki. After a moment, he sighed, "Fine," he extended his hand, "Deal."

Loki used a free hand to shake his, "It's a deal then." The others looked at Loki to see if he was joking, but the God of Mischief showed no signs of japing.

He's dead serious.

Loki watched Sylvie as Strange recapped that day, she was in shock as he expected. He has expected her shock but how she reacts to it is something he's not ready to face yet.

Sylvie swallowed, "So, all this time. If I had run away, Loki would be…." Strange nodded, looking like he felt guilty for making such deals with Loki. But Loki himself didn't feel guilty nor fault Strange, for he was in a different opinion.

"And as promised with Loki," he turned to him, "I made sure that you are not to be treated as a prisoner even though you were locked in our cells."

Sylvie pursed her lips, looking rather shocked at this revelation. Her eyes then turned to Loki, "Why didn't you tell me that your life depends on my actions?"

Loki shrugged as if it's nothing, "Because I trust you? I mean after we've spent some time together in the cell, I knew that you wouldn't run away this time, so I don't' see why I had to tell you," He glared at Stephen, "If anything it's Strange who's being sceptical of you."

"It's called being cautious," he grumbled, "But I've upheld my part of the bargain, didn't I?"

Loki grinned, "Yea, you did." Both of them chuckled as if the bargain they made were nothing but child plays.

Stephen then turned to Sylvie, who looks quite conflicted about the whole revelation, "Sylvie," he began, "I believe I owe you an apology for not trusting you."

The Goddess of Mischief looked somewhat confused but nodded anyway, "Sure, it's fine."

Loki sensed her inner conflict, he walked towards her, "Guys, can you continue the discussion without us first? I'd like a word with Sylvie for a while."

Instead of Stephen who answered, it's Wanda, "Take all the time you need," she genuinely smiled at them both.

"Thanks," he nodded, he then tugged Sylvie's hand, "Come on." She wordlessly followed him.

When they left the room, Stephen blinked, "Was it something I said?"

Wanda shook her head, smiling in content. Loki and Sylvie reminded her so much of how she and Vision used to be, "They just need more time to sort things out."

Loki led her to the next room where it looks like a living room so that they can go back to the library quickly. It has a sofa and a table, nothing more and nothing less.

When Loki closed the door, he turned around to face her.

Only to get slapped right in the face.

The God of Mischief looked appalled as he turned back to her, his cheek stung, "Ow?"

"You wait this moment to tell me this?" Sylvie demanded in dismay, her eyes looked so horrified and about to well with tears.

"Well, I don't see why I had to tell you when you were doing just fine after we spoke," he lifted his arms in his defence, "You were clearly mad at me in the beginning after they arrested you. And when we finally spoke, you were getting in a better condition, you became friends with Wanda and her twins, and had no intention to plot any escape…"

"How do you know that?" she demanded.

"I watched you when we weren't together, Syl," he said casually. He began to realize what he said may sound creepy, but he had to tell her the truth, "You weren't plotting anything at all. You read the books I gave you, then you opened up to me and Wanda, you hadn't had any intention of leaving! You are the smartest person I know Sylvie, you would've come up with a plan to escape, even without your powers. Yet, you didn't."

Sylvie was a loss of words when he said this, she didn't expect him to be this direct. In her agenda, it's always to never put your guard down, yet Loki is breaking every one of the rules she had, "How could you just easily put your trust in me?"

He genuinely smiled, "Why did you?"

"What?"

"The day when I vanished alongside Mordo, why didn't you just run away from Kamar-taj?" he stepped closer to her, "You are someone who would hunt down anyone who threatens you or anyone else, yet you stayed. Why?"

Sylvie blinked away her tears, "I thought you died…..I was grieving. And…and…." She too was at a loss of words, in fact, why didn't she demand Kang that day so that she can have her revenge? She could have.

Loki stepped closer to her, gently, he stroked her arm, "It's not just that, Syl," he pulled her to him, "The last Sylvie I knew would've gone straight to the captured Kang and kill him in any of those days. You would've demanded to find Mordo, and you would've escaped Kamar-taj. But here we are," he lifted her chin to meet her watery eyes, "You didn't do any of those. You stayed instead of running away, and when you finally knew what to do to find me, instead of going on your own, you went with Strange and Wanda," he wiped a tear from her eye, "You trusted me when I told you that I knew that you'll find me, and you trusted the others to help you find me and stop Mordo. You've grown to trust the people around you, Syl. And I'm so happy to see how you have become."

Sylvie's burned bright. She shook her head, "But still," looking at his chest, "How could you just do this on my account?"

Loki only chuckled and placed his lips on her cheek, "Because I love you, Sylvie," she pulled away again, looking at him with shock, the same face she gave him when they parted ways, "I always have since we were at the Void Beyond when you came for me." Loki gently kissed her, hoping that she understands how he feels for her, "I made a bargain that I knew that you would never do. Even if I were to tell you, I didn't think I had to ever since you made so many friends here, just as I had."

Sylvie pulled away shortly, "But I wasn't who I am now when they arrested me, Loki. I could've done anything."

"And you didn't," he placed his forehead on hers, "My mother placed her trust on me even though I was a screw up. And I'm willing to do the same for you, love," he captured her lips, "Do you remember when I said, 'love is a dagger'?"

She snorted, "Your terrible metaphor of love?"

"But I stand by it," he chuckled, "Though I'll erase everything after 'until it makes you bleed'."

"Why?" she sniffed.

"Because" he readjusted their position together, "'It's a weapon to be wielded far away or up close. You can see yourself in it. It's beautiful until it makes you bleed,'" he recited, "No matter how far apart we are, the love in us stays. Yes, it may hurt sometimes, but it's the love that stays with us that made us feel that way. The connection we had that helped me find my way back to you…it's our love that strengthens that connection."

At that moment, Sylvie burst into tears. Her arms began to constrict his chest like a snake not letting go of its prey, "Don't you dare do anything reckless again, Loki," she sobbed, Loki wrapped her in his arms, stroking her back and soothing her, "I don't want to lose you…."

"You won't," he kissed the top of her head, "We promised each other, didn't we? That from now on, we do things together. No more solo missions….right?"

She nodded on his chest, "Yea," she said with a hoarse voice.

He slowly lifted her in his arms and brought her to the sofa, where she can release her emotions. He continued to hold her, letting her know that he's real and that he's not going to leave her, "I'm here," he murmured to her again, "You don't have to run anymore. You have friends to support you now, and they care about you. Just as I do," he can feel her softly nodding, "Thor, Wanda, and Mobius helped me to fight for you, that's also where I knew I made the right decision."

"I now understand why they always told me to ask you about this…."

"Did they?" he chuckled.

"Yea, wouldn't even spill a bean on what you did to keep me alive," she murmured.

He kissed her cheek, "Ah well when we were together, we didn't really think about the past, didn't we?" he linked his hand with hers, "We were discussing the books you read, the things you wanted to do to Strange once you got your magic back," she giggled, "And we spoke about Asgard…."

"It was nice…" she murmured.

"Still is," he said, "And then when Wanda came along, you were even happier. You didn't look like you feel alone."

She inhaled, "Loki?"

"Yes, Sylvie?"

"Thank you," she looked up at him, "For always keeping me safe."

"My pleasure," He gave her a warm smile and kissed her, "I love you, Sylvie."

"I love you too, Loki."

By the time they were able to join the others, Wanda and Strange looked like they had concluded. Sylvie sat beside Wanda and Loki sat beside Strange.

"So, how are things?" Wanda asked.

She nodded, "We're in agreement."

"That's good," she hummed.

"Wanda, I never get to thank you for speaking on my behalf…"

"Oh, it's quite alright," she smiled at her, "After all, these two boys are just being irrational, that's all. Had to knock some senses in their silly little brains."

Loki and Strange furrowed their brows, "Hey," they said simultaneously.

Wanda shrugged and looked back at Sylvie, "See?" Both ladies giggled at her point.

"Anyways," Strange cleared his throat, "We came to a conclusion."

"Which is?" Loki sat back on his chair.

"I'll have a team to investigate the last traces of Nightmare, and I'll have a word with Mordo and Mobius of this," he said, "I'm hoping he'll help on to locate Mephisto."

"Okay," Sylvie nodded, "And what of Kang?"

"The last time we saw him, he looked like he was entering another realm," Stephen said, "The Quantum Realm."

"Didn't your Avenger friends investigate that realm before?" Loki turned to Wanda.

"Yes, but that was before we knew where he might go," Wanda answered, "He left a trail before he left back at the sanctum, and Scott might be able to help coordinate his true location. So, I'm going to the Avengers headquarters to help with the investigation. He might give me a clue to where Vision is too"

"I see," Loki nodded, he had forgotten about Vision, "This realm doesn't sound like it's as simple as opening a portal, doesn't it?"

"Sadly, no," she said, "One must shrink themselves, and Scott is the only person who can do that."

"Fair enough," he hummed, "This means you are going to have to be with the Avengers for this."

She nodded, "Yea, back to the Avengers compound," she looked at her twins who sat on the other side of her, Loki had forgotten that they were here, "We're going to the Avengers home, kids."

"Where you used to reside with Dad?" Billy chimed with enthusiasm, Loki's brows quirked up. They picked up his vocabulary quite well.

"Yes, Billy," she stroked his soft hair, "We're going back."

The twins looked at each other and grinned, then they both looked back to their mother, "Will we meet Captain America?" Tommy asked.

She smiled, "You will, and many others." This put huge smiles on both boys' faces.

"Will we have a huge place to play?" Billy asked.

Wanda chuckled, "You will. It'll be just like when we were back at home, kids."

The twins looked at each other and grinned widely, nearing to squeal. Then, Tommy's eyes darted to Loki, who was waiting for them to finish, "Will you come with us?"

The God of Mischief blinked, "I beg your pardon?"

"Come to the Avengers home and live with us!" Billy chimed enthusiastically, "You can train us there."

Loki scratched the back of his head, "Sorry kid, I don't plan to stay at the Avengers compound."

The twins' faces turned upside down, Billy leaned forward as if demanding for answers, "Why not?"

"I have other plans to do, kid," he said, "And the Avengers isn't in my agenda to go to."

"Where will you stay then?" Tommy asked, "Are you going to stay here?"

"No, I too plan to move out…"

"Then you can stay with us!" Billy innocently answered.

Loki sighed, he looked to Sylvie and Wanda, mouthing, little help here. The two ladies chuckled.

Wanda jumped in, "Now, now, kids. Loki has other duties to attend to, he can't stay in the Avengers home."

The twins let out a groan of disappointment, and he cringed at how they're upset. This was what he was avoiding, attachment to kids, "Then who's going to teach me magic."

"Your mother," he said casually.

"And who's going to teach me running in magic again?" Tommy chimed after his brother.

"Again, your mother," he casually answered, and when he turned to Wanda, she was giving him a slight frown. He shook his head, "Honestly, you are going to be taught by the mightiest heroes on Earth, the Avengers, and they are friends of your mother, what else could you ask for?"

"Well….none of them are our friends," Billy played with his fingers as he said that sheepishly.

Loki was taken aback by his answer, feeling a little shocked. It's hard for him to even call anyone friends, let alone children. He had to admit, he had formed a small attachment to them, and he may miss the fact that they may not bother him daily again.

But he can't stay with the Avengers, not after what he had done, and his interests are not as aligned as theirs. Protecting Earth is one thing, but to make it a job is not his thing, and never was. He'd rather be called when they need extra help.

Loki sighed, making the twins upset like last time is the last thing he wanted to do when today is supposed to be a victorious day, "Here's a deal. I may not stay there, but I can visit you. Say," he thought for a moment, "Once a week? Or twice a week? What do you say?"

"But that's so long!" Tommy complained, "Why can't you just visit us every day?"

The God of Mischief frowned, "I'm busy, child. I can't just drop in whenever I want, I have things to do with my other friend and brother." The children continued to pout and it looks like they are on the verge of crying, he sighed, "Okay, I'll visit you….emm…..whenever I can. I'll…..emm…..when I come to visit you guys, I want to see how your training have improved with that Captain America. What do you say?"

The kids' faces looked slightly happier, "Promise?" Tommy asked.

This made him purse his lips, he's been asked to promise now. First was his bargain with Stephen, then the kids on their training, then Sylvie, and now this again. But these are Wanda's children, and they are good. He had grown fond of them over the time, "Yes, I promise."

The twins' faces grew, "I'll run so fast you won't find catch me again," Tommy grinned proudly.

He chuckled unimpressed, "I look forward to your progress."

Billy then turned to Sylvie, "You'll come too, right?"

Sylvie smiled, "Sure, I'll drop by with Loki. Besides, I'd love to visit your mum too," she looked at her friend.

Wanda smiled warmly, "Oh, I'll have loads of stories on how I must face a world full of boys. Honestly, it's like a boy's camp there. You must visit me more often, Sylvie."

Loki turned to Stephen, who has been quiet for some time, he wonders if he's feeling left out, "Don't worry, Strange. I'll visit you too."

Stephen cringed, "Please….stay the hell away from my sanctum."

He chuckled, turning away from him with a sly grin on his face, "Yea, I'll look forward to seeing you too."

"Don't."

"Okay."

Both magicians chuckled.

"So, what happens to Mordo now," Loki asked Stephen as Wanda and Sylvie left the room together with the twins. Wanda said they wanted to have their girl time together, and she needed help with the family pack. Leaving the men in the library.

"We're keeping him here," he said, "Until we can make sure that Mephisto will never wake up, and these multiverse branches are handled, we won't let him meddle with it again," he crossed his arms and rested his hip at the nearby bookshelf, "Ever since the multiverse, more and more unknown identities and variants are appearing. We're going to need to find a way to handle it."

"Are you going to hand him over to the military of sorts?"

"No, his crime had nothing to do with them but for us. He may have assisted Kang, but ultimately, they have nothing on him. So, no."

Loki crossed his arms, "Okay, so then, what's your plan with him or to manage this multiverse thing?"

The sorcerer supreme looked up at him, his face looked serious, "When you weren't around, Wanda and I were looking into another universe as we found this person who turned out to be a powerful variant of someone. He seemed to have….unique powers, as he scared Nightmare off."

"Did he," Loki said with a tone of impress.

"Yea, and when I read the TVA documents, one of them wrote that he had a school. He seems to have a potential to be a good ally for this multiverse war."

"And who is this fellow you are talking about?"

"Charles Xavier," he said, "Bald guy, and in a wheelchair. The document said that his other alias is Professor X."

"Interesting, the more the allies, the better I suppose," With the current state, having the Avengers alone won't be enough. Even knowing that there are other timelines out there, they are going to need all the allies they could get, "And Kang?"

"I suppose I'll leave that to the Avengers," he said, then he looked at him, "And you? You said you're going to be busy."

He nodded, "I'm going to the TVA, see if I can eradicate the remaining traces of Kangs, make sure not another war is started. Thor mentioned Kang had something to do with his girlfriend's transformation, and I suspect Kang or something else might be out there lurking, maybe another variant….who knows. So, I'm going to find out all about these new mysteries. Sylvie will assist me on that of course."

"Might go New Asgard," Loki answered, "See how things are doing there."

"I see," Stephen hummed, "Well, it might take some time to know what really is going on out there. It may even take more than a while. Are you up for the challenge?"

Loki nodded, "For all time."

Stephen nodded back, "For all time," he then extended his hand, "It has been a pleasure to work with you, Loki Laufeyson."

The God of Mischief shook his hand firmly, "Same here, Stephen Strange."

"If you need any assistance, we will be here to help."

Loki pulled his hand back, "Thank you."

After that meeting, Stephen and Loki went separate ways. He decided to go to the training grounds to find Mobius. Stephen said some of the Minute Men may have reports of what they found about Nightmare. He strides towards the soldiers….

Only to get lifted off the ground by Thor and was swung everywhere in the training ground.

"Brother!" He boomed, "You are alive!"

"Get off me, you lard brain!" Loki grumbled.

"I can't believe you cheated death again! And this time, your girlfriend had to save you," he placed Loki down and gave him a bear hug, much to Loki's dismay, "You are the absolute savage!"

"Thank you?" Loki groaned.

"But you have got to stop playing dead!" he slapped his back, making him cough, "That is uncool."

"In my defence, there was nothing else we could've done," Loki crossed his arms, "Besides, I'm here. There's no way I'm doing all those sacrifice things."

"Yeah right, I know deep down you are willing to do anything for your girlfriend and us."

He frowned, "Orrr…..I just didn't want Mordo to win."

"God, you are a terrible liar," he howled in laughter, "One of these days, I'm going to have you drink with me until we drop! And then I'll make you spill everything!"

"Now, you're just convincing me not to go out with you."

"Loki!" Another voice echoed the training grounds, he turned to see Mobius striding towards them.

His face lit up to the sight of his friend, "Mobius!"

When they arrived, Mobius gave him a friendly hug, to which Loki gladly accepted, "You're finally awake!"

"Last I checked, I am," he answered as they pulled back.

"God, you had us all worried. You need to stop going missing and start telling us what you're planning!"

"Well, that defeats the whole purpose of a sneak attack."

"Fair point," Mobius chuckled before turning to his brother, "Good to see you, Thor."

"Ahh, my brother's friend!" He extended his hand, which Mobius gladly took and shook, "Thank you for keeping my brother in check."

"Hey," Loki felt like he's being babysat.

"Ahh, no worries. Got used to his mischief stuff," He laughed, "Now, things are better."

"Good, that's good. One of these days, we should all have a feast together in New Asgard," he placed both his arms onto Mobius and Loki's shoulders, "And we shall toast for finally being able to reunite!"

Loki sighed exasperatingly, though he had to admit it's good to be back with Thor. The only thing he despises is parties, "I think a drink at where you took me at New York sounds better."

"Noooo, it must occur at our new home, brother!" he pulled Loki closer to him until he grunted, "A reunion and a celebration to a better future!"

He can't help but chuckle at his brother's enthusiasm. This change is something he'll need to get used to, brothers in arms. Perhaps, not things can be different now that they are allies.

"Oh look! It's Sylvie and the others!" Thor pointed to the entrance of Kamar-taj, Loki turned to see Sylvie, Wanda and the kids coming to the training grounds. The twins have their backpack whilst Wanda was using her sling bag, she's wearing her casual hoodie and her kids mirrored her, wearing the same type of clothing but with different types of colours, Billy wearing blue whilst Tommy wearing green.

When they came closer, Loki can see Stephen walking behind them. Thor let go of Loki and Mobius and walked towards the women and twins, "Ahh, Lady Sylvie, you have returned- "

And got a slap instead from her.

Loki blinked, "I swear I've seen this kind of thing before," this reminded him of when she slapped him AND when Jane slapped him.

Mobius chuckled, "Must've run in the family."

"You left me at Asgard," Sylvie barked at Thor.

"Okay," the God of Thunder lifted his finger up, "To be fair, it was the best way to get you to speak with my mother."

"When we agreed that we'll go together," She crossed her arms with fury.

"Look, either way, there were guards with my mother. I can't just barge in when I'm at Midgard, they'll think I'm an imposter."

"Or we could've gone together and spoken," she glared irritatingly at Thor.

Thor looked up for a moment, looking as if his brain just clicked, "Okay, fair point."

Sylvie grumbled, "I had to explain a lot more to your mother."

"But," he grinned, "things did work out, right?"

She frowned, "No thanks to you."

"Well, I suggested it."

Loki sighed, and here he thought he was the annoying one. He walked towards them, "Well, aren't you responsible, brother."

"Well, not the greatest plan but the best improv," his hands fell to his hips, "I suppose you can say I have a mischievous side."

He frowned, "Very droll."

Sylvie went up to Mobius, "You're still here."

"Yea, just finished interrogating Mordo," he took a small book out of his jacket, "Had a little information from him, but I need confirmation back at the TVA. Do you guys wanna help me out here? I could use your magic."

Before Sylvie said anything since he knows that she might not know what she plans to do after, he jumped in, "I'm hoping to find other variants of Kangs, just in case they are going to mess with us again," he answered, "The first time we met him, he said that he had variants of himself fighting each other and ruining space, time and reality. And I want to put a stop to it."

"Sounds great, 'cuz that's part of my agenda too," Mobius smiled, "I suppose you both will be on the field."

"Yea," he grabbed Sylvie's hand without looking at her, "We'll go together.

"Alright."

Someone cleared her throat, and everyone turned around to see Wanda looking at them while the kids were speaking enthusiastically with Thor. The Scarlet Witch began, "I suppose this is where we part."

"Oh, where are you going?" Mobius asked.

"We'll be moving to the Avengers compound," she said, "I'm going to share my findings with the others on the last location of Kang, and a friend of mine might know how to get there. I'm going to assist them so that I can find Vision too."

"Let me guess, the Quantum Realm?"

She nodded, "You got it."

"That's so odd," he furrowed his brows, "I thought that place is covered, why would he go back there again?"

"That's what we're going to find out," she said, "Can't let any more stones unturned. I still hadn't had a clue to where Vision may be."

"Yea, I'm sorry to hear about it," he nodded, "Vision isn't a variant, so it'd be hard to find him. But, I might be able to look into any data about people like, might give you a clue. I'll let you know if I find anything. Or if you find anything, you can give me a ring and I'll search it up."

Wanda nodded, "Thank you, Mobius. You gave me your realm location. Your office looked so dull, you really need to redesign it."

"Hey, it's not like our place has big investments as the Starks."

"You're right," she chuckled, then she turned to everyone else, "Well, then. I guess this is it."

Stephen, who had been silent, stepped forward, "You have been a great ally to us, Wanda. And for that, I am grateful."

"Me too, Stephen," She smiled and placed her hands on her twins' shoulders, "Thanks for letting us stay."

"You're most welcome," he nodded, "Should you need any assistance, we'll be here to help."

Wanda gave him a warm smile of thank you before turning to Loki and Sylvie. For the two of them, she gave a wide grin, "You two have been warming up better since we came here."

"Well," Loki cleared his throat, "A certain love expert barged into the library and gave me direct advice….so thank you."

She giggled, "I can see it working," the Scarlet Witch then looked at him genuinely, as a friend to friend, "Thank you for teaching my kids as well. They have grown more than I ever thought they would in just a few days with you."

Loki scratched the back of his head, "Well…..they are good kids. So…credits go to them, teaching was easier than I thought."

"I hope you can teach them again when you visit us," she grinned.

He frowned, "Let's leave that to another time."

Wanda laughed, "I look forward to it," she then turned to Sylvie, both ladies looked at one another before they broke into a hug, "Oh, I'm going to miss you and our talks together so much."

"Yea," Sylvie murmured, "I'm going to miss it too."

"Come by soon," she pulled away and smiled at her, "I don't know how long I can stand with so much testosterone in the compound," as she said that, both women burst into laughter. Ever since Natasha is gone, she doesn't know who to speak to for girl talk, and it sucked, "And thank you for protecting my children when I was not myself."

"No problem," Sylvie giggled, "You should come to visit us too."

"In the TVA?"

Sylvie stuttered as she was confused about where she'll reside, and she turned to Loki, to which he picked up the hint, "Most probably, we'll be at New Asgard," he said, "Might be a place to reside more or less."

"Oh, I've never been there. I'll bet it'll be a nice place to get away too, and the kids will love it."

He nodded, "I'm sure the people there would welcome you."

Wanda adjusted the bag on her shoulder before turning to her twins, "Tommy, Billy," her twins looked back, "Come here, my darlings," they both ran towards her, "We're going soon, you have something to say to everyone?"

The twins nodded and turned to everyone like the obedient kids they are, "Bye, everyone."

The adults nodded back, waving at them. They also said their goodbyes. Thor gave a friendly hug to her, "Well, you might see me more often there since I AM an Avenger."

"That's if you aren't in space," she frowned.

"True."

Once everyone is satisfied with their bidding, Stephen opened a portal for the family, "I believe I found your destination."

"Thank you, Strange," she said, "I'll come by some time to learn more about my own magic."

"The door is always open" he nodded.

"Sylvie," Billy looked at her pleadingly, she looked down at the child. The child looked at her proudly, smiling just like his mother, "Thank you for teaching me how to find my powers."

Loki watched her kneeling down to the child's eye level, "I just gave you some pointers, but you did the rest yourself."

Billy smiled, "Really?"

"Really."

And to her surprise, the child hugged her, Loki sees how stunned she looked, "Will we see each other again?"

Sylvie looked like she froze at his statement, it was the same exact question she asked Frigga. Different kinds of emotion began to flood into her, and her heart clenched. She recovered quickly, not wanting to cry in front of the child, "Yes, dear one," She finally said, and pulled away to meet his eyes. She tapped his little nose, "One day."

Billy giggled at her gesture, "Okay," he then returned to his mother and brother.

The family waved to them all, "Bye everyone," Wanda took the kids' hands in each of hers and together, they went through the portal, which eventually closed. Suddenly, Loki felt the place become a little lonelier. Ironic, the very place he didn't like that much became the place that gave him the most memories.

"Well, then," Thor clapped, "Looks like the party is over."

"Yes," Stephen yawned, "I think I'd like a small break after all these ordeals," he stretched his back, "I'll be heading back in. See you all." And at that, he glided into the temple, leaving only the Asgardians and Mobius in the training grounds.

"Speaking of break," Thor clapped, "Let's all head to New Asgard and have a feast at my place!"

Loki frowned, "Why do I have a bad feeling."

"Oh come on, brother. Don't be a party pooper."

"That doesn't sound like a bad idea," Mobius slipped his hands in his pockets, "You guys got jet skis there?"

"Sure, we do," he boomed, "So, you're in?"

"Definitely," Mobius exclaimed, he fished his tempad from his jacket and tapped a few things on the device. The signature orange door then appeared, "Come on, you two." Thor, without hesitating, jumped right through it, and Mobius followed.

Loki sighed, "I suppose this is what they meant by togetherness….not that I'm complaining."

"You're just not used to the crowd, aren't you?" Sylvie giggled.

"That, and the fact that most of the locals there still believe I'm dead….I think," he slipped his hands into his pockets, "I'm not the best in parties, they are awfully noisy."

"Ah, Thor can help you navigate," she holds his arm, "Besides, if we can find a place to slip," her mouth got closer to his ear, "We can do something else," she whispered playfully.

Chills ran down Loki's spine as she said that, he linked his hand with hers and captured her lips, "I look forward to it, my lady."

She giggled, "Lead the way, my prince."

And at that, the two gods walked hand in hand to the portal.

A new beginning awaits them both.

Aaand that's the end! Finished! Don't worry, there'll be an epilogue after this. So be sure to tune in!

This is the longest I've written, but it's my intention since this is the finale. Plus, it's Sylkie centric, just as I hoped for. I wanted to establish their relationship with everyone else as well, from the day they were loners and hesitant to engage socially, to becoming friends and forming attachments. The core of the entire story is learning to trust again. That's what I was aiming for, and I guess it worked? What do you think? Tom Hiddleston once said that he'll be playing a redeemed Loki, so I went with that direction. Hope it worked!

I added the conversation where Loki bargained for Sylvie's warrant at the beginning so that it refers back to the first chapter. I wanna give it more depth and meaning, so if one day you all read it back, there's a new perspective...ish? I hope it worked.

And so that I can add that 'love is a dagger' scene. I did like that metaphor in Loki, it was sweet and beautiful and I want it back! It kinda defined their relationship as well in the tv show, so I threw that in.

The part where they all said their goodbyes was painful to write, not because I don't know how to write it, but it felt like a farewell to me writing this story as well and I really feel that it's the end. It was bittersweet but satisfying. In the end, writing this was worthed. And a balm to my heart after that Loki finale too, hahaha!

I wasn't certain about Strange, cuz I always see him as a serious man even when he made up with Loki and Sylvie, so I don't think he wants to party. He's not even too close with anyone, he's his own man, I suppose. What do you think?

Otherwise, the trio magicians have been a blast to write! I love Loki and Stephen's banter and Wanda trying to keep them managed. It's like the golden trio of Naruto, Star Wars, and Harry Potter. And...their own little Avengers.

Well then, that's a wrap of the story. It has been a pleasure, guys! I've enjoyed every bit of writing this and the journey, it has been a challenge but fun. Now, I can't wait for Dr Strange 2 and Loki season 2. I'm probably going to rewatch Loki or something. I hope Loki and Sylvie will be in the next trailer or something, as Marvel didn't reveal them at all in posters or anything.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to comment on every one of my chapters. Your words have motivated me to finish this. I was afraid this was going to go unfinished, but the feedback you gave me and telling me the details of the parts you guys love was the fuel to my motivation. So, thank you so much everyone!

As always, my last request, don't forget to review and comment Would love to know what you think so far. Suggestions are always open, if it's good, I'll consider them for the next chapter/epilogue, just as I did with the previous chapters.

Until then, take care!

Claire
