Taiga, with a small girl on her lap, sat in front of the computer, "So they have you working late tonight?"
"Yeah," Ryuuji sighed, "I'm sorry I won't be home to tuck Sakura in tonight," Taiga pouted and Ryuuji arched a brow, "What's wrong?"
"Ryuuji, they never asked you to work late…are…are…are you-"
"Relax Taiga, I'm only working late," Ryuuji assured, shaking his head, "You know that some jobs do this," Taiga sighed and slightly nodded, "I won't do anything to ruin the life we have together…I promise this will be the only time they ask me to work late. I'll be home around eleven,"
"Okay…I love you,"
"I love you too,"
Taiga looked down and smiled at the girl on her lap, "Say goodnight to daddy, Sakura,"
"Bye daddy," the child waved.
Ryuuji smiled as he waved back, "Bye sweetheart. Daddy will see you tomorrow," the child smiled and nodded before Taiga ended the call.
