Chapter 6:Bad day for a bow
Clint Barton was a lot of was a hero,a father,a mentor and last but not least a hero. But a hero can only be a hero for so long before they fall down. Which could be dying,retiring or simply falling down the wrong path.
Now he wasn't one to think too much about the past but he knew one day he would be haunted by memories of his past. So imagine his surprise when he and Kate went back to America to find out someone has been running around trying to become a new ronin.
"So let me get this straight" Kate said as she and Clint sat on a rooftop. "There is a person trying to be the killer vigilante ronin, who just so happened to be you?" She asked while eating a few pieces of popcorn she had in her lap.
Clint sighed and nodded. "Look, I don't really like talking about my time as him. He was a broken man, Someone who lost his family who wanted to make all the bad people who survived pay" He said while looking around and rubbing his ear.
Kate looked over at him before frowning slightly and reaching into her vest pocket. She held out her hand in his face and showed him his hearing aid, which he took with a groan and put it in.
"You know there isn't anything wrong with wearing it" She said before propping her feet up on the edge of the building.
"Yeah yeah i know" He said while testing it to see if it still worked. "It's just easier to think sometimes when I can't hear all the distractions of the outside world." He looked over his arrows while taking quick glances around the street and rooftops.
Kate smiled softly before looking in deep thought. "How do you think Izuku is doing in school. I mean we both know without a sliver of a doubt he made it in" She said with a big grin before biting her thumb. "But do you think anyone is accepting him?".
Clint looked over at her then back at the ground before pulling his phone out and unlocking it before handing it to her.
Kate raised an eyebrow before taking the phone and looking over the pictures that showed Izuku with his mom celebrating him getting in and even some from an outsiders point of view of him showing off his skills in a testing area and in combat.
She smiled and wiped a small tear causing Clint to look over at her with a smirk on his face. "I'm sure the brat is doing just fine. Oh here we go some action at six o clock" He said standing up.

Izuku shifted his backpack on his back as he felt a chill down his spine. 'Ugh it's spring, why does it feel cold?' He thought as he saw the crowd of reporters trying to get into UA to see All Might.
He groaned and started slipping between reporters to avoid being bugged but stopped when he saw Uraraka looking nervous as a few of them were blocking her.
"What can you tell us about All Might?Is he a great teacher?Do you have any plans to let us in to see All Might?" Multiple reporters asked her questions making her more and more nervous as she tried to find a way out of this situation.
She was about to use her quirk to get away when she saw Izuku walking towards her and felt a smile come onto her face.
"Hey you guys, I saw All Might sneaking through the side gate not too long ago. You might be able to catch him if you hurry" He said while nudging her towards the front entrance and watched as the reporters started running to the side entrance.
"Thank you so much" She said with a small bow and smile towards him causing him to cough into his hand.
"No problem, Now c'mon we should hurry before we are late" He said as he started walking to class with her beside him.
Neither aware of the hooded figure watching them walk towards the school with a sinister snarl coming from his mouth.

Aizawa walked into the classroom with his usual bored and tired look and gave a small wave to everyone. "Good morning class, Good to see you are learning how to be prepared already" He said with slight praise.
"I watched all of your combat exercises last night, good job to most of you. Midoriya remember that you can't solve everything with your equipment" He said, causing Izuku to give a slight nod before staring out the window. "Bakugo, you have a good quirk and better usage of it but you won't achieve anything if you refuse to work with people" He said, causing Bakugo to growl.
"Why should I let any of these extras hold me back!" He yelled before a capture scarf wrapped around his face.
"You're here to learn how to be great heroes not be a single person, Teamwork makes a huge difference when you have a weakness someone can cover for you" Aizawa said while letting his scarf lossen.
Aizawa adjusted his papers and yawned. "Now i know it may seem early but i need you all to choose who becomes class president" He said before hearing silence before an explosion of yells was heard.
"Me, Me i wanna do it,No choose me i will make it manly, Hey, I'd like to do it too" A few of the yells were heard causing Izuku to ignore everyone and keep staring outside.
Iida stood up and cleared his throat loudly. "Excuse me everyone but i think it would be best if we cut this yellign down and choose the class president by voting" He said while adjusting his glasses.
Tsuyu looked back at him and put her finger to her chin. "But wouldn't everyone just vote for themselves?" She asked, causing a few others to nod in agreement.
"Exactly so that whoever has more than one vote should be class president. What do you think about this ?" Iida asked while turning to Aizawa who was zipping into his sleeping bag.
"I don't care how you do it. Just choose before lunch" Aizawa said while closing his eyes and drifting to sleep.
Iida nodded and asked Momo to pass out paper to everyone and let everyone write who they choose before collecting the scarps of paper.
Iida counted all the slips of paper before looking up confused. "There's only 19 pieces of paper in the hat. Who didn't vote?" He asked, making everyone look around before Bakugo slammed a hand on Izuku's desk.
"You damn freak. Stop staring out that damn window and vote for me before I throw you out it!" Bakugo yelled, making some of the others jump in fear but saw Midoriya not even move an inch.
Izuku looked over at Bakugo and blinked a few times before writing a name on the paper and passing it to Iida.
Iida smiled as he recounted the votes but lost his smile as he wrote the results on the board. "Your new class president is Midoriya and the vice president is Yaoyorozu" He said with his head down while Izuku looked at the board with raised eyebrows.
"How did I get it?" He said while looking around at the room. "I was pretty sure you all didn't like me cause I don't have a quirk?" He asked, causing a few to flinch.
Kirishima stood up and smiled "hey anyone who is man enough to fight me one on one with only a bow and arrow, is someone i'd let lead any day" He said before sitting down.
Izuku shrugged and turned his head back to the window as the lunch bell rang. He stood up and started walking to the cafeteria as Iida and Uraraka appeared beside him with smiles.
"Congrats on winning class president Midoriya" Iida said with a smile as he set his glass of juice down.
"Thanks i guess, I mean i'm more of a scout and follower then a leader which is why i voted for you" Izuku said before taking a mouthful of rice.
Iida froze for a second before looking at Uraraka and then at Izuku. "Y-you voted for me?" He asked, receiving a nod back. "But why?"
Izuku was about to answer before an alarm went off interrupting lunch.
"Caution entry breach level three, Please remain calm and follow your student protocol and report to your class safety fields" A large speaker said as the students rushed for the exit trampling other students and causing a standstill of human traffic.
Izuku grunted as he was shoved by another person and slowly made his way to the windows and saw Present Mic and Mr Aizawa being swarmed by the reporters. 'It's just the news yet everyone is forming a mob because they're scared' He thought and looked around before seeing Iida fly over everyone and smash into the wall.
"Please listen to me everyone, It is just the news, there is no threat. Please calm down and think about how you're injuring other students!" Iida yelled,causing everyone to calm down and see he was telling the truth and start helping the fallen and injured.

Aizawa walked into the classroom while rubbing his face and sighed. "Good job on calming everyone down Iida and good job everyone else for staying calm during the incident" He said while standing behind the podium.
Izuku raised his hand then stood up. "Look I know you guys voted for me and thanks for your trust in me and such. But it's like I said yesterday, I'm better in the back and looking over everything, So unfortunately I can't be class president which is why I am giving my role up to Yaoyorozu and putting Iida as vice rep." He said before sitting down.
Iida and Yaoyorozu stood up surprised but still walked to the front.
A few of the students took some time to think about the change in leadership but started to get behind it.
"Hey we all saw how Iida reacted during the emergency today and how Yaoyorozu was able to talk about everyone's combat training yesterday so i think we can trust them to lead us" Kirishima said causing some to nod.
Aizawa stood up and let his sleeping bag fall to the ground. "Now that that's finished we will be taking a field trip today. It's off campus so we will be taking a bus there. This will be rescue training so you can choose to wear your costumes or the UA work out suits" He said before hearing the students talking.
"Aw man rescue training this sounds like a lot of work" Kaminari groaned out causing Kirishima to smack his head and grin. 'C'mon man this is what being a hero is about" He said, while Tsu held her finger to her mouth, "No one can beat me in the water" She said before everyone froze seeing Mr Aizawa's hair floating and his eyes glowing red.
"I wasn't finished" He said before deactivating his quirk and looking at his papers. "Now you will be taught by Me,All Might and a surprise guest. Now go and get changed" He said before walking out the classroom after letting their hero cases out.

Izuku looked over his arrows in their quiver and checked his bowstring to see if he'd need to get it replaced eventually before he heard Tsu start talking to him.
"So Midoriya, I'm normally very blunt and say what's on my mind, So don't take offense when I ask, Why would you become a hero even though you're quirkless?" She asked, causing everyone to stop their conversations and even cause Aizawa to listen in.
Izuku stopped looking over an arrow and slid it back into his quiver before sitting up straight. "Well i always wanted to help people and wanted to cause hope when i showed up to stop a villain, But then i didn't get a quirk but didn't wanna stop helping people and one day i met my mentor and his other protegee who became like my father and sister in a way. They spent a little over a year training me to build up my skills in hand to hand and how to use a bow and arrow" He said, shocking some as this was the most he spoke so far.
"But wait, who could be a good enough teacher to teach you how to use a bow and arrow this skillfully?" Kaminari asked while leaning forward in his seat.
Izuku looked down with a smile on his face. "Only the world's greatest archer the world ever saw. Hawkeye" He said causing Aizawa's eyes to widen slightly.
The students looked at each other in confusion. "Who is hawkeye? Is he related to Hawks?" Some asked before Mr Aizawa stood up.
"We're here, Now be quiet and get off the bus and wait for further instruction" He said while walking down the steps.

Izuku adjusted his bow into it's collapsed form and looked around before seeing the space hero thirteen.
"Greetings students my name is-" Thirteen was starting to say before Uraraka ran up and bounced up and down in excitement.
"You're the space hero thirteen, You're one of the leading heroes in rescue and your quirk blackhole allows you to suck up anything!" Uraraka explained while giggling and izuku smiled slightly remembering when he was a hero fanboy.
Thirteen chuckled softly before waving at Uraraka. "Well as you've heard from your fellow student i am Thirteen and i am here to show you and help teach you rescue training here at the USJ, Which i designed myself" She said and looked at the awed looks on the students.
Aizawa walked up to Thirteen and leaned in close and turned his back to the students. "Thirteen, where is All Might?" He whispered and saw her hold up four fingers. "He used up all his time this morning and is resting" She whispered back as Aizawa groaned and walked away.
Izuku saw Thirteen hold up her fingers and guessed what happened and rolled his eyes. 'So much for showing that oaf i can be a hero' He thought as he started thinking of what arrows he could make in the future to help with rescue work.
The class followed thirteen into the USJ and listened to her explain all the parts when Kirishima walked to the front and pointed at the center of the building.
"Hey they even have fake villains" he said, causing Mr Aizawa and Thirteen to freeze and run to the staircase.
"Those aren't fake villains, those are real. Thirteen protect the students and alert the school" Mr Aizawa said as he pulled up his goggles.
Izuku grabbed his wrist and stopped him. "Mr Aizawa we both know you can't fight all of those villains by yourself, you're a catch them by surprise hero don't be a fool" He said, his voice dripping with concern.
Aizawa smirked and shrugged his hand off and looked forward, "No hero is a one trick hero Midoriya, Would've thought Barton taught you that" He said before jumping down towards the villains.
