Taiga moaned before she sat up and looked down at her sleeping husband, "Ryuuji? Ryuuji are you awake?" Ryuuji moaned as he slowly opened his eyes and looked up in confusion, "Did you hear that?" Ryuuji sat up and listened before they heard crying echoing in the dark.
Ryuuji yawned and tossed the covers aside before he stood up, "I'll check it out…go back to bed, Taiga,"
"No," Ryuuji looked back as Taiga sighed and tossed the covers aside, "There's three of them…we both should go and see what's wrong," Ryuuji took a deep breath and nodded before Taiga stood up and the two of them walked out of the room and into the nursery.
Taking the children out of their crib, Taiga tiredly smiled, "Hey, what's wrong, you three? Did you have a bad dream?" the pair looked up and saw several shadows rush past the window before Ryuuji ushered his wife out of the room and they hurried down the hall.
The family sat in the living room, the three children sleeping while the two adults stared at the window with narrowed eyes.
