Sir Topham Hatt has let all of his engines, minus the bad guys, to have a year vacation off of work, the same time Principal Celestia has let all of her students take a year vacation off of school. All of Sir Topham Hatt's engines along with the Mane 7 and Starlight are about to have the best summer of their lives. Will their vacation be the best they ever have?

Season 1: Sodor Meets Equestria

Episode 8: Remembering the Good Old Days

Where were the Mane 7 and the Steam Team you may ask? Well, they went on a trip to the Everfree Forest for a campout. They managed to take a bus, accompanied by Bertie. Starlight had to stay behind with Emily to take care of some things. Once they reached the end of the road, they get off the bus.

Bertie: I'm still itching for that rematch Thomas?

Thomas: You just can't let it go can you?

Bertie: What can I say, I live for racing.

Thomas: Maybe not at the moment, but someday Bertie, someday.

Once Bertie left the group, they walked into the forest and started unloading their stuff. Henry, Fluttershy, Twilight and Edward start putting together tents for everyone, while Percy, Pinkie, James and Rarity unravel the sleeping bags. Applejack, Toby, Rainbow and Gordon started gathering their necessary items they need. Nia and Rebecca also chipped in to help out when they can. Meanwhile, Thomas and Sunset were talking towards the river until they decided to sit on a rock.

Thomas: You know Sunset, I never got to really say this to you, but you and I make one great dynamic duo, I'm sure Percy doesn't mind if I include you in my lineup of dynamic duos.

Sunset Shimmer: You're right Thomas, we do, and Percy is okay with joining the two of us. To be perfectly honest, we've done some crazy things back then.

Thomas: Yeah we did, and I'm glad I got to spend those adventures with you.

Sunset Shimmer: (Blushes) No problem, and I'm happy that I got to do those said adventures.

Thomas brought out his right hand and Sunset grabbed it with her left and they lean in until their heads are touching as they look over the forest. It was early in the morning, and the engines are wondering what could they do for the time being.

Gordon: Man, I've never been this bored in my entire lifetime. I mean, as an engine, I'm perfectly fine with, but as a person, talk about slacking.

James: I agree, I mean as engines, we get to do all sorts of fun jobs, but as a human, I mean, we do have a lot of fun, but there's not much we can do. Our friends have amazing powers, and what do we have: nothing!

Thomas and Sunset arrived to the campsite with Sunset to see that his friends are bored out of their minds, so he thought of an idea that could pass the time.

Thomas: I have an idea, why don't we tell our friends some of our past adventures, before we arrived here to Canterlot?

Henry: Are you sure Thomas, you want our friends to hear of our past actions.

Thomas: Why not? It's still morning, so I thought that what the heck, if they want to hear it. You girls okay with us telling our past experiences?

Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie & Applejack: Sure! Sure! Sure! Sure! Sure! Sure!

Thomas: Nia & Rebecca, you might want to hear this as well.

Nia & Rebecca: Okay. Okay!

So everyone gathered around the unlit fireplace, ready for the engines to relive their tales back on Sodor.

Thomas: So which one of you wants to tell their tales first?

Toby: I think I will start.

Thomas: That's the spirit Toby, go on ahead.

Toby: Well, it all started when I was still working on my railway, the Arlesdale branch…

(Flashback: Toby the tram engine is shown running his old line, the Arlesdale railway and rolling with his faithful coach, Henrietta. Back then, those were the glory days until his railway had to close.)

Toby: …everything was going great, until my railway had to close.

Fluttershy: Oh my, that's so sad.

Toby: You have no idea Fluttershy, I have to stay at my shed and I thought that nobody wants me, I mean in other railways, why would they need a tram engine anyways. When I first thought all is lost, my controller Sir Topham Hatt decided to buy me and I became a permanent edition to the team.

Applejack: That's amazing partner, what other adventures have you did.

Toby: Well, I sorta played a part in Percy's ghost prank against Thomas.

(Flashback: Toby was heading to the sheds and found Thomas, telling him that Percy has had an accident, even though he isn't, and usually Thomas didn't believe him, but his skepticism has come back to bite him, when Percy scared him and he played along with it.)

Thomas: (Groans)

Percy: (Snickers) Wait until it's my turn, it will be good.

Sunset Shimmer: You really did that to Thomas?

Toby: Like I said, I played a part in his prank. Later on, I was dangling off a tightrope from a bridge and Mavis came to rescue me, I even said it was true from the game show.

(Flashback: Toby is trying to deliver a train of stone, but the trucks think it was Mavis and mistakenly bumped him, sending him in a runaway, but unfortunately, the bridge he was heading to is breaking apart from a powerful torrent, as Toby raced over, he ran into the tightrope and is treading on it, dangerously, fearing he'll fall into the rapids but not before Mavis came to rescue him.)

Pinkie Pie: I remember that.

Toby: That's not the only thing I did, I helped get a bull off the tracks when Daisy failed to do so.

(Flashback: Champion the Bull was let loose, and Daisy attempted to shoo him away with the toot of her horn, but to her frustration, Champion is still grazing, she tried again, but that only angers him. She had enough and left, which Toby had to step in and whoosh at him to get him back to his field.)

Applejack: Wow, that must've been really brave of you to face a bull like Champion there, if I were to see that there bull, I can show him what a real cowgirl wrangles bulls.

Sunset Shimmer: Is the bridge incident your only dangerous incident you've been in.

Toby: Well, I really don't want to relive this one moment, but it's by far, the absolute worst thing I've ever experienced, I was stranded on a bridge when the dam broke near a town, floodwaters came and swept the bridge away with me in it, and while I was swept away, I was heading straight for a waterfall.

(Flashback: Toby was working at a small village, but the weather had made things look really bad, floodwaters are on the rise, and the dam holding all the water back is on the verge of collapse, he has to cross an old bridge to get to the other side, but the floodwaters have made it unstable, and inevitably, disaster struck, the dam broke and all the floodwater came rushing out, swept the bridge away with Toby on it, now Percy and Harold have to rescue him before he is swept over a waterfall. But after a while, they managed to save him from his near brush with death.)

Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack & Sunset Shimmer: What?! What?! What?! What?! What?! What?! What?!

Applejack: Are you pulling on our tail on this one Toby?

Toby: No I'm not, I nearly plunged towards the raging waters if I went over the waterfall, but luckily Percy and Harold managed to save me just in time.

Sunset Shimmer: Phew, well, at least that's a good thing you're still around.

Toby: And proud of it, one more tale should do it, after that, there was a museum being built and all of my friends have to be repainted but I never gotten a repaint because my controller never told me about the museum, and I was worried out of my wits that he's going to put me inside the museum, until he told me that I was to take important visitors to the opening of the museum. Boy, that was really embarrassing.

(Flashback: It was the day of the museum's grand opening, and Toby was talking to James about the museum, the engine's getting repainted, but Toby feels left out. Then, he comes to realize that Sir Topham plans to put Toby inside the museum, which leads him to become paranoid, after a while, he got himself into an accident and Sir Topham Hatt tells him that he's too useful to be put in a museum, and plans to have Toby repainted and take the important visitors to the museum's grand opening.)

Twilight Sparkle: Well, at least you won't have to worry about being a museum piece.

Toby: Thanks Twilight, who else wants to have a go?

Edward: Looks like I'm next.

Rarity: Well then, let's hear it darling.

Edward: Well, how should I start, around the beginning of my time on the railway, I was a mixed-traffic engine, capable of pulling both freight and coaches, but Gordon back then, thinks I don't have the qualities to perform cause I'm outdated and old, until I proved him wrong when he got stuck on a hill and I have to push him up.

Gordon: (Groans)

James: (Laughs)

Gordon: (Growls)

(Flashback: During the beginning where it was just five engines working there, Edward was always the one that was overlooked by the bigger engines, teasing him about being weak, outdated, old-reliable and not as strong as them, but Edward worked tirelessly to show them that he's just as strong, until his chance came. Gordon was stuck on his hill with his freight train, grumbling as usual, until Edward came to push him up the hill, with every ounce of strength he has, Edward managed to push Gordon and his train up the top of Gordon's Hill.)

Sunset Shimmer: Well, at least you showed him. (Snickers)

Gordon: (Groans)

Edward: Sort of, another time was when I was taking a passenger train, James and Gordon were still teasing me that I'm old and unreliable.

James: Hey!

Edward: But I kept pushing forward and it was in the middle of a storm, I tried my hardest until one of my crank pins broke on me, but I knew I can't give up. So I kept on going, until tired but triumphant I reached the station and the passengers cheered for me.

(Flashback: At Knapford, Edward is trying to pull his passenger train, but he's getting old and not how he used to be, which resulted in the big engine's teasing him, but he didn't let that stop him. As he traveled down the line, a storm is brewing, making it more difficult for him to continue, until one of his crank pins broke, hindering his progression. But he didn't let that stop him, with every ounce of determination in him, he pulls the train all the way to the station.)

Rainbow Dash: Wow, now that is awesome!

Edward: Thanks Rainbow, but that's not the only thing I've done. I've managed to save my friend, Trevor, from being scrapped.

(Flashback: Edward was heading to the scrapyard to collect some scrap, until he stumbled upon Trevor, who was close to getting broken up. Trevor told him that he needs paint polish and oil to be new, but they'll say he's old-fashioned, but Edward retorted and told him that they say he's old-fashioned. Making it his mission to restore Trevor, he visits an old friend, the Vicar and talks to him about Trevor, to which he's all for getting Trevor, and Jem Cole came to buy and clean up Trevor, and succeeded in restoring Trevor.)

Fluttershy: Wait, isn't that the traction engine from my group?

Edward: Yep, that's him alright, I'll have to remind myself to see him again, anyway, now, there are two moments where were not great, to be honest. One moment is I have to take Percy's place pulling the mail train and I've never in my life pulled the mail train. I thought it was going to be easy, but it wasn't. I accidentally switched the parcels and mail to the wrong places and when I tried to fix this, I crashed and thought I failed Percy, until realizing that Percy does it in a certain order and finally, I managed to fix my mistake and delivered the mail in the right order.

(Flashback: Percy had to be mended and couldn't take the mail today, so Edward was tasked to take over Percy's mail run while he's being repaired. At first, he thought it would be easy and went to every station that needs the mail. But complaints surge from Sir Topham Hatt's office that they received the wrong packages and parcels, and that made Edward really upset and had to start over, but he only made things difficult when he had an accident. So he turns to Percy and learns that he does it in a certain order, and with that, he's able to fix his mistake and deliver the mail.)

Sunset Shimmer: Wow, that's a hassle for you. Pulling a new train that you've never taken before, it's a new experience. But with the right guidance, you can get right back on track.

Thomas: That's some excellent advice Sunset.

Sunset Shimmer: (Blushes) Thanks Thomas.

Edward: But the worst experience I've ever done in the past was dissing Rocky, the new crane. Thinking he isn't useful until my train of steel pipes crashed and spread all over the tracks, blocking Thomas and Emily and crashing Gordon. At first, I think Harvey can manage it, but he wasn't strong enough to lift Gordon, so I have to get Rocky to help out and it turns out I was wrong thinking that Rocky wasn't useful, he is a really useful crane.

(Flashback: Edward, Percy & Gordon were at the docks greeting the new crane, Rocky. Gordon calls him newfangled nonsense, someone that'll just get in the way, and Edward agrees with him. He doesn't require his help with his train of pipes but it's going to bite Edward in the ass when the chains holding the pipes snap and scatter all over the track. Harvey arrived to help out but it's going to take a while for him to remove every pipe, which is blocking the line where Thomas and Emily are. But it gets worse, when Gordon crashes into the pipes, and Harvey says he's not strong enough to lift Gordon, which Edward gives him and goes to fetch Rocky to help with the rescue. And to Edward's surprise, Rocky is extremely useful in rescuing Gordon and putting the pipes back in place, proving that Rocky is really useful.)

Rainbow Dash: That was a little harsh, don't you think?

Edward: Yeah, it was, but I promise never to be rude to new faces ever again, so who's next.

Henry: (Sighs) I guess I'll go next.

Twilight Sparkle: Okay Henry, let's hear it.

Henry: To be honest, my past has been extremely rocky from the start. Before, I was able to pull big trains but for some reason, I wasn't able to produce enough steam and resulted in me, getting sick pretty easily, until they decided to give me Welsh coal and I was back stronger than ever.

(Flashback: Henry back then, didn't have his new shape, he arrived in his old shape, which was poorly built design on Henry's part, which resulted in him not producing enough steam for him to pull big trains, and making him extremely miserable. Knowing he might be sent away, he's sent aside. But they soon found the problem, his coal is wrong and decides to put him under Welsh coal, and that will make him a different engine. Now Henry, with the Welsh coal, feels much stronger than he ever was back then.)

Fluttershy: Oh Henry, that's so sad.

Rainbow Dash: (Sniffles)

Twilight Sparkle: Dash, are you crying?

Rainbow Dash: What! No, I'm not crying, I just got something in my eye.

Gordon: (Chuckles) Go on Henry.

Henry: Okay, later on, my driver told me that I'm going to take the Flying Kipper, which is a special fish train. I was so excited; I cannot wait to pull it. And when I did, it was the most exhilarating experience of my life. That was until snow forced the signal down and I crashed into a goods train, and Sir Topham Hatt sent me to Crewe to get myself overhauled. And I managed to get myself a new shape.

(Flashback: At night, Henry was tasked to pull a special train called the Flying Kipper, a long and heavy fish train. The harbor was getting the kipper ready for Henry to take, he was most excited to pull it. And he set off in the night with his train. During the run, it was going splendidly until they came to a signal, which was forced down due to ice and snow, forcing him to go in a different direction. It later followed into a deadly crash for Henry, which he's damaged but Sir Topham Hatt doesn't blame him for the accident and sends Henry to Crewe to give him an overhaul. Now Henry, the one we know, is in his new shape, and has never felt better.)

Twilight Sparkle: Talk about a remodel. Maybe I should've put you with Rarity.

James: No dice, Henry we like you in all, but you're more of a tree lover than a model.

Everyone: (Laughs)

Rebecca: I never knew you had a remodel before I came here.

Henry: Yeah I did, I've been like this way before you arrived. Anyway, back to my story, where this one is an embarrassing one. I was called to a blocking that's happening at my tunnel, Henry's Tunnel. Actually, before I tell you that part of the story, let me tell you why the tunnel has my name on it, it's because I refused to leave it due to the rain, because back then, I was afraid of the rain cause I thought it would spoil my paint, and as punishment, my controller bricked me in the tunnel never to come out until I was ready.

(Flashback: "Once an engine attached to a train, was afraid of a few drops of rain. He went into a tunnel and squeaked through its funnel and wouldn't come out again!" Hey, couldn't help myself, sue me, anyway back to the flashback. Henry was taking a passenger train in the middle of a rainstorm, he was afraid of it so much, he went into a tunnel and never came out, knowing the rain would ruin his green paint and red stripes, the passengers tried talking him out of it, but he wouldn't listen. Eventually Sir Topham Hatt was called in to assess the situation. They tried pulling Henry out, pushing Henry out and have an engine come to push Henry out, but he stayed in the tunnel. As punishment, they took off his rails and bricked him up in the tunnel until he is ready to come out and be really useful.)

Fluttershy: How awful.

Rainbow Dash: And rude, who does he think he is?

Henry: Yeah, that was back then, now he isn't like that anymore. Back to the blockage story, when we arrived, the workmen tried to get the blockage out, until something scared them senseless and when I tried to remove it, it started pushing me and it revealed to be an elephant that escaped from the circus, their handler came to get him, they gave him cakes and water, until I released steam and he sprayed me with water, which is embarrassing.

(Flashback: Henry was called to deal with a blockage happening at Henry's tunnel, when the workmen tried to remove it, something inside scared them, now Henry has to push him out, but it pushed him out of the tunnel revealing to be a circus elephant that escaped, they gave him cakes and water, but when Henry wheeshed, it sprayed him with water before his handler came to get him.)

Rainbow Dash: Talk about getting into some sticky situations.

Henry: Yeah, but I've learned to get past all of that and I did just that.

Applejack: That's a mighty fine story you told us partner, now how about we saddle up for some lunch.

All of them agreed, as Applejack passed each of her friends' lunch, which consists of salad, a variety of sandwiches and a vegan sandwich for Fluttershy, some fruits and a cake for dessert. Sunset and Thomas told them they're not hungry at the moment, so they went back to the spot where they were before.

Sunset Shimmer: Are you enjoying this campout Thomas?

Thomas: I am, and I love every bit of it. I'm glad you invited us to the Everfree forest for a campout.

Sunset Shimmer: (Blushes) You're welcome Thomas.

Thomas: By the way, you told me before that you were on a campout at this forest, and that Everfree is a special place, why is that?

Sunset Shimmer: Oh, I forget to tell you that is the birthplace for our powers: My mind reading, Twilight's telekinesis, Fluttershy's animal communication, Rainbow's speed, Rarity's diamond shields, Pinkie's extravagant explosive sprinkles and Applejack's strength. All thanks to our geodes.

Thomas: Amazing, the birthplace of your magic is our campout. I wonder, would some of our Sodor friends get these special powers from the forest.

Sunset Shimmer: You may never know Thomas; you may never know.

Applejack: Hey Sunset, your lunch is getting cold.

Sunset Shimmer: Coming, we better get going.

Back at Canterlot, Starlight and Emily found out that another batch of Sodor's engines have arrived: Glynn, Judy & Jerome, Ryan, Skiff, Rex, Mike, Bert, Philip, Hugo & Bradford.

Glynn has pale skin with gray hair, wearing a red hat, with a white suit and a black tie and a red vest over it, with the number one on the side, dark teal pants and black dress shoes.

The Breakdown twins have dark teal skin with dark bronze hair (Judy's a bushy ponytail and Jerome's a sleek, spiky design), Jerome is wearing a gold shirt with a dark teal hoodie with his name tag on the side, black shorts with dark teal accents on it and black sneakers, Judy is wearing a gold and dark teal dress that goes to her thighs, gold leggings up to her lower legs and black shoes.

Ryan has light purple skin with brown hair with the tip of it curving up, almost making a shark fin, wearing a beige suit with a purple vest over it, navy blue jeans and black shoes.

Skiff has sand-colored skin with brown short hair, wearing a small white hat, a red ascot and a blue and white sweater with white around the collar, blue pants and brown shoes.

Rex has mint skin with yellow hair spiking out with green accents at the front, wearing a brown t-shirt with a green jacket over it, with red and grey details on the shoulders and red for the inside and cuffs, green shorts with red stripes and green shoes.

Bert has sky blue skin with black hair coming down, with part of it covering one of his eyes, with blue accents on the tip, wearing a brown shirt with a blue jacket over it, with grey and red details on the shoulders with red for the inside, black jeans and blue sneakers.

Mike has light red skin with bronze short hair with red on the tip, wearing gold earrings and a necklace, a blue t-shirt with a red jacket over it, with grey and black details on the shoulders and black for the inside and the cuffs, black pants with red stripes and red sneakers.

Philip has brown skin with black spiky hair, wearing a yellow handkerchief, with a green t-shirt with the number 68 on it, brown shorts and green sneakers.

Hugo has silver skin with white hair with blue highlights, wearing a pilot's hat with goggles attached, a white flight jacket complete with wings and badges, the underside of the jacket is colored sky blue, blue pants with silver highlights and white shoes.

Bradford has light green skin with black hair, wearing a sergeant's hat, a military uniform complete with badges, black pants and military green boots.

When Starlight texted Sunset of this, she put the engines that came into their respective groups. Ryan sided with Sunset, Judy, Jerome and Rex sided with Twilight, Bert and Hugo sided with Fluttershy, Mike sided with Rarity, Philip and Skiff sided with Pinkie and Bradford and Glynn sided with Applejack. While in the campout, lunch has been finished, and the next engine to tell their past experiences was James.

James: Well then, how should I start? Well, around my first time being on the railway, I was being my usual self and I wasn't looking to see that my old brakes were on fire while I was pulling a train and that resulted in my first accident.

(Flashback: James back then wasn't painted red now, he was painted black and had wooden brakes on. He's always showing off, often screeching to a grinding halt resulting in his brakes smoking. He kept on showing off until his brakes gave in and caught fire, sending him in a runaway with the trucks pushing him down the line, Thomas had to come in to try to save him, try as he hardest, he tried to couple up to James' train to try to slow it down, but it was too late. James careened off the tracks and into a cow field. Thomas now has to fetch Judy & Jerome, the breakdown train, to help James back on the tracks and to the repair yard. Once he's fixed, he's now sporting his new red paint and the number 5.)

Rarity: Yes, he did tell me that before.

Applejack: Well, what happened next?

James: Well, this one is humiliating, I biffed my coaches and that caused them to spring a leak, that made the guard and driver fix it with a newspaper and bootlaces! God, that was so humiliating.

(Flashback: After the incident with James wheeshing on Sir Topham Hatt's hat, he's put on a tight leash, and say if he misbehaves again, he'll be painted blue like Edward. That made James cross and is being rough to the coaches, bashing and bumping them into place as he pulls away, after a while, the coaches' brakes suddenly snap shut stopping the train. The driver and fireman examined the coaches and see that there's a leak in the brake pipe. He then told one of the passengers if he has any bootlaces since they have newspaper to help patch up the leak, but he refused, and all the passengers complained about the railway and the man, eventually, he gave up his laces. James is ultimately embarrassed by the whole thing and is worried about what will Sir Topham Hatt say to him.)

Everyone one of the girls were laughing their heads off, and James' cheeks were almost as red as his paint, or in this case, his jacket.

Rainbow Dash: Now that was the most hilarious one I've ever heard! (Laughs)

Pinkie Pie: Good one James, good one! (Laughs)

Edward: Come on everyone, I'm sure that's funny, but I think James has some other past experiences that are just as exciting as the last one.

James: Well, there was this one time on a stormy day, a tree was on the line and I nearly crashed into it, my heavy train prevented me from trying to get away, and Thomas came to help me just in time before the tree tipped over.

(Flashback: After James was repainted, he thought he was going to pull passengers, but Sir Topham Hatt tasked him on a goods train. As we all know, James is not happy about pulling trucks. So he set off to collect his train, while he was on his way to deliver it, a leafless tree had slid onto the line cause of the soil becoming too moist, James saw this and stopped just in time. James tried backing up, but the heavy train is preventing him from going backwards, and the tree is nearly close to falling on top of him, until Thomas came to the rescue and helped pull James away from the falling tree.)

Fluttershy: Oh my, that is frightening.

James: It was, but now I'm always careful of any tree that strays too close to the line.

Henry: After I told you about it earlier.

James: Oh stow it Henry. Anyway, there's just too many screw-ups and embarrassing moments I've done, so I'll say one last one and it's another embarrassing one. I was heading home at night during a blizzard, before that Thomas told the story of Jack Frost and I didn't believe him, until I noticed Percy, before I did, he was covered in snow and icicles that made him look and sound like Jack Frost, I was so scared I raced all the way to the sheds. Percy, next time, don't ever scare me like that.

Percy: Don't worry, I got you. (Snickers, thoughts) Not.

(Flashback: James was riding through a blizzard home, since he delivered his trucks of coal to the stations that needed it. Unfortunately, he's about to get quite a scare on his way home. Percy was doing the same job as James, but he had to stay on a siding since they gave the station his coal, but Elizabeth will come by and bring Percy more coal. Unfortunately, the blizzard has other plans for Percy, it starts blowing snow on him as icicles form around him, making Percy look like Jack Frost. As James was heading home, he got a fright from Percy since he sees Jack Frost, he was so scared he raced off into the night.)

Everyone was again laughing their heads off, as James' cheeks turn red again.

Rarity: (Laughs) I must say Jamesy, you do get yourself in some sticky and funny situations almost all the time. (Laughs)

James: Yeah, yeah, don't rub it in.

Gordon: Alright, now it's my turn. I for one, have a magnificent story, ever since I arrived on the railway, I was guaranteed the honor of pulling the Express, until a certain blue tank engine decided to play games with me, so I decided to get him back, by tagging him along with my coaches, I sped down the line with him at the back. I'm pretty sure that will teach him a lesson.

(Flashback: Gordon was one of the five engines that worked on the island back then, being regarded as the Pride of the Line and the one who pulls the Express. But during Thomas' first day, he plays countless tricks on him and now, Gordon has enough, and plans to get back at Thomas. When Thomas starts shunting his coaches, he quickly couples himself to his coaches and when the passengers get on, he quickly steamed away with Thomas in tow. Thomas is in for the ride of his life as Gordon thunders on with the express. When they stop, Thomas knows better than to mess with Gordon, he's surely learnt his lesson.)

Rainbow Dash: Now that was just rude, how could you do that to Thomas?

Gordon: Yeah, I know that action is totally rude and I regret doing that to him.

Thomas: And I forgive you for that.

Gordon: I do have a moment when I was being my boastful self, I heard that there was a new station being built, and when I arrived, I was hoping for a panoramic view, but there wasn't, until my systems starts frizzing and I was going too fast and crashed into the back wall. After I was mended, I get to see it again due to the station being fixed again, and I get to have a panoramic view after all, even if its modeled after my face.

(Flashback: Gordon was in his boastful and grumpy self, when he heard about a new station being built. He thought there was going to be a panoramic view for everyone to see him, but there wasn't, which only made Gordon even more grumpy. After some time, the station is ready for its first grand opening. But there's a problem with his system, he couldn't apply his brakes, something jammed and he's going too fast until he crashed right through it. A while later, the station is repaired again for its second opening and Gordon came to its unveiling, but this time, it has a panoramic view of his face.)

Twilight Sparkle: Ouch, that's gotta hurt.

Rainbow Dash: You tell me, it's like slamming into a brick wall so hard your head will cave in, now that will be extremely painful.

Gordon: It sure did, and I won't do something like that again. But that was not the only accident I've been in, a couple of them in fact. When I was taking a goods train from the docks, a careless signalman didn't switch the points and I went down an old line, sped off the tracks and crashed into a field, and me bashing into a lot of other stuff.

(Flashback: Gordon was an engine of many things, but pulling trucks is not his forte, Salty said that pulling trucks is not everybody's job but Gordon wouldn't know it, but Gordon doesn't like the idea and told him that express engines don't pull freight cars, they wouldn't be dignified. But later in the night, Sir Topham Hatt tells him to pull a goods train, which leaves him distraught. Gordon wants to be in a hurry to deliver them, and will show Salty how an express engine pulls freight cars. But a signalman didn't put the points for Gordon to go down the main line. But he went down an old line, as he traveled down the line, he passed a sign telling him to go slow, but he doesn't, and he paid the price as he careened off the tracks, his train derailed and crashed into a field.)

James: (Snickers) For a second, you're starting to be like Henry if you be pulling more goods train, then I'll be pulling the Express more often.

Gordon: Pff, keep dreaming James.

Applejack: That's a first, I never thought an express engine could get into an accident, let alone pull freight cars.

Thomas: That's true, express engines don't always pull coaches, if something comes up, then trucks are in effect for them.

Gordon: Yes, thank you Thomas, now this one is by far my most embarrassing, almost. When I was pulling the express, a banner for the Best Dressed Engine competition, which is a competition for everyone who dresses the best and the one who's the best dressed wins. Anyway, the banner came loose while it was attached to a bridge and I was blinded by it, it covered my face and I had to go all the way to Knapford before it came off.

(Flashback: Sodor is holding a Best Dressed Engine Competition, where the engine who's the best dressed wins. Gordon doesn't care much of the competition, as he pulls the next express run, but unaware to Gordon, a banner for the Best Dressed Engine competition is being blown about by the wind, nearly close to getting loose from its straps. And it did just that, and blinding Gordon just as he was rolling by. With him blinded, he couldn't see where he was going, nearly crashing into things, well almost, he crashed into Trevor's cart full of apples, and he wouldn't stop until getting to Knapford.)

Sunset Shimmer: Oof, that has to be embarrassing.

Gordon: You have no idea, who's next.

Percy: I'll go!

Thomas: Oh brother, this isn't gonna end well.

Percy: When I first arrived on the railway, I was extremely cheeky and I've gotten myself into all sorts of skirmishes. One time Gordon nearly crashed into me, I ran away and stop myself on a dirt bank.

(Flashback: Percy was one of the next engines to arrive on Sodor during its beginnings. While the big engines, Gordon, James and Henry, went back to work after their strike stunt, Edward, Percy and Thomas get to play around the yards. Percy finished shunting and went to a siding to wait for the signalman to switch him on the track back to the sheds. But the signalman was careless and didn't see Percy. And out of nowhere, Gordon came rushing towards him and barely came to a stop before colliding with Percy. All of a sudden, Percy's brakes were off and Percy sped backwards with no one stopping him, until another signalman saw him and diverted Percy onto a siding with a bank of earth, stopping him. Luckily, Gordon came to help Percy out of his predicament.)

Pinkie Pie: Ooh, I know what else happened! One time, you played a ghost prank on Thomas, later you plunged into the harbor, after that, you crushed a brakevan, next, you ran over a trolley carrying luggage and jam, along with the controller's trousers, and my favorite one, you crashed into a chocolate factory! (Laughs)

The others were shocked that Pinkie guessed all of Percy's past actions, perhaps their relationship is growing stronger by the day. But yeah, as it turns out, Pinkie was right.

(Flashback: Percy told the story of the ghost train to Thomas and Toby, but Thomas didn't believe that its true and claims he wasn't scared, even though the story was just pretend, or is it, after that, he heads for home, but he couldn't see that a cart full of lime was left on the track and he crashed into it, covering him in line. But now, they see him looking like a ghost. Percy thinks it's perfect to scare Thomas and asked Toby if he could stall him, so that way he'll scare the daylights out of him. And truth be told, he scared Thomas.)

Thomas: Ugh, I still remember that, but I definitely got you back with that dragon.

Percy: Hey, don't push it.

Applejack: So let me get this straight, first you scared Thomas as a ghost, and Thomas scared you with a dragon. You guys have a habit scaring each other?

Percy & Thomas: Sometimes. Sometimes.

Rainbow Dash: Did you at the same time plunge into the harbor, Percy.

Percy: Y-Yeah, it was really stupid of me.

(Flashback: Percy was telling the Clay twins that he battled a rainstorm, but Henry interrupts them, and he tells him that water is nothing to an engine with determination. As he sees a sign telling him that he shouldn't go pass it. Percy tries to ignore it, but wants to take the risk as he takes a train of trucks and asked them to bump him. When they get close to the bay, the trucks bumped him and he crash-landed in the sea, which the controller wasn't happy, and told him that he has to wait until the tide is lowered, before they can rescue him. And with Percy rescued, Henry then used his words to bite him back, and Percy wasn't happy.)

Percy: Ugh, just thinking about it reminds me of how stupid I was.

Sunset Shimmer: Don't beat yourself up on that Percy, the past is the past, now it's just the future.

Percy: Thanks Sunset.

Thomas: But that's not the only stupid thing you did.

(Flashback: When Daisy refuses to pull the milk, makes work difficult for Toby and Percy, and the trucks aren't liking this one bit and decides to pay one of the engines out and their target is Percy. As he's pulling his train, the trucks bumped and pushed him which made him go very fast and is sending him into a brakevan which he crashed and crushed, which now he has to be rescued again.)

Applejack: Wow, you mustn't have a lucky break.

Percy: I didn't have a lucky break back then, and it gets worse.

(Flashback: It was a winter day on the Island of Sodor, and Thomas and Percy were complaining about the cold weather, when Percy brought out the most outlandish idea he had, having scarfs, which Thomas finds ridiculous. And Percy could not get it out of his head, which only distracts him from where he's going. He didn't see a luggage trolley was being pulled into the station where the other passengers and Sir Topham Hatt were waiting on. He crashed right into it, sending luggage and jam all over him, the passengers, Sir Topham Hatt and a lone truck. Sir Topham Hatt was not happy with Percy's behavior and he was sent away to be cleaned up. He did get his wish on having a scarf, but not in the way he hoped.)

Fluttershy: Oh my, that surely wasn't fun at all.

Percy: It wasn't, but the last one, turns out to be sweeter than all of my screw-ups.

(Flashback: Percy has been getting dirty every time he's done work, and hasn't been to the wash down in a while, so he's been getting more upset. But after denying of getting clean, he is to take a shipment of sugar to the chocolate factory, to which Percy was happy about. But he didn't realize that there was oil all over the track as he was heading over there. He slid down the tracks and crashed into the wall of the factory, speeding right through it and coming out covered in gooey chocolate.)

Pinkie Pie: Mmm, chocolate.

Rainbow Dash: I still don't have a logical reason on why you two match so well, but man, if Pinkie sees you covered in chocolate, she'll think you are a chocolate statue and eat you.

Percy: (Laughs) When you put it that way, it kinda makes sense. Umm, I think that's pretty much sums it up, thanks for all of that info Pinkie.

Pinkie Pie: Your welcome.

Percy: Man, all this story telling has got me hungry, what's for dessert.

Applejack: Well, sugarcube, I have these here cakes, if anyone likes to have some.

Thomas: I'll have some later, I'm going for a walk.

Sunset Shimmer: You want me to go with you?

Thomas: Sure Sunset.

Applejack: Well, don't go too far, otherwise the dessert will be cold.

As the others are eating their cake and roasting marshmallows, Sunset and Thomas were walking into the forest, holding hands and hearing the night sounds of crickets chirping, owls hooting and frogs croaking.

Thomas: This really is a beautiful place, it's almost like Henry's Forest around night.

Sunset Shimmer: Really, I would like to see that place for myself. And I betcha Fluttershy will also tag along.

Thomas: I couldn't agree more.

Sunset was still blushing every time Thomas is near her, she wanted to tell Thomas that she loves him so badly, but she feels like it's not the time. Then, they see a glow coming from one of the trees. They went over to check it out, there they see was a pile of geode crystals. He picked up a light blue one.

Thomas: Sunset, you don't think those are…

Sunset Shimmer: Geode crystals! Yes, they are, Thomas you found the mother lode.

Thomas: And look, each one is colored just like our friends from Sodor, oh I think these will be excellent souvenirs. Come on, let's gather them and give them to our friends.

Sunset Shimmer: I have a bag that's big enough for all these geodes.

So Thomas gathered ten of the geodes and placed them in his pocket while they place the other geodes into the bag and walked back to their camp. Applejack was tidying up the desserts when Sunset and Thomas arrived.

Sunset Shimmer: Hey everyone, sorry we're late, we just found something that I think you'll like. Show it to them.

Thomas brought out then geode crystals to show their friends: Two were light blue, two were green and five individual ones: red, orange, yellow, dark green and brown.

Percy: Whoa, those look amazing.

Thomas: And all of them are in their respective colors, much like us, here, you can keep these if you want. And since Emily is with Starlight, I'll hold onto hers when she gets here.

Everyone picked out their respective geodes and placed them in their pockets, and its nearly time to sleep but Thomas is the last one to tell his past experiences.

Thomas: Well, I guess it's my turn. Well, where to start. When Sir Topham Hatt finally gave me the chance to pull coaches, I was so excited that I forgot to couple up to them and raced off without them.

(Flashback: The railway was still in its beginnings, Thomas was the station master for the Knapford engines: Gordon, James and Henry. But, he's getting a little bit fed up and wants to explore the world, but the engines will always tease him for being impatient and might leave something. Around the next day, he might get his chance, Henry has fallen ill and won't be able to pull his train. This is the chance Thomas will get, he sets the Express and is anxious for his chance. But as he gets in position, he wasn't coupled to the coaches and left them and the passengers behind and didn't realize it until a signalman told him that. Surprised and upset, he reversed back to try again. And he did just that, now he knows his mistake and knows never to do something like that again.)

Sunset Shimmer: Thomas told me that, the time that he didn't know Troublesome Trucks were troublesome and when he saved James, he earned his branchline, didn't you Thomas?

Thomas: Yep, I did Sunset.

(Flashback: Like Sunset described, Thomas did have a hard time considering it's his first time pulling trucks. He shunts his train and prepares to pull it, but the trucks weren't ready but he's not buying their shenanigans as he pulls the train. As he continues, the trucks grew crosser and decide to pay him out and their plan begins by pushing him down Gordon's Hill. He was going so fast he's trying everything to stop, to which he did on a siding, now he knows not to tackle Troublesome freight cars.)

Edward: (Chuckles) I remember that moment, you still had trouble orchestrating with the trucks, but thanks to my teachings, you got the better of it.

Thomas: And I appreciate you teaching me my friend.

James: Don't forget of the time you rescued me from my accident, which Sir Topham Hatt has let you get your own branchline, I'm a little bit jealous, but I'm gonna let that slide.

Thomas: You got that right James, that one moment is a highlight of my entire life.

(Flashback: Thomas has been working so hard, from pulling & shunting coaches to trucks, that Sir Topham Hatt is proud of his work, and told him that if he keeps this up, he might reward him with something special. As he was shunting, he came across the Breakdown Train, Judy and Jerome, and after a while, he rescued James from a nasty accident. Sir Topham Hatt was very happy with Thomas for rescuing James and being really useful, and as a reward, he's earned his famous branchline and earned two coaches, Annie and Clarabel.)

Twilight Sparkle: Talk about such an achievement.

Applejack: Not only have you gone above and beyond to save a friend in trouble, but you've gained yourself some spotlight, like your branchline.

Thomas: Thanks Applejack, it really means a lot to me. I've had my good moments and I have my bad moments, this is one of them. There was a time, I thought I can move on my own without a driver and fireman, but I was so wrong, without them, I kept moving down the line until I crashed into the stationmaster's house and ruined his breakfast there. That's when Donald & Douglas came to rescue me, while I was in disgrace. A bit of a stupid mistake from my part.

(Flashback: Thomas' driver and fireman told Thomas that he can manage without them, to which Thomas thought they're only kidding, until it goes to his head. Now thinking he can do what they said, he tried it and at first, it looked easy but it didn't last long. He is racing down the line towards the stationmaster's house and crashed right through it. He even ruined their breakfast, believe me, if someone were to ruin my breakfast, I'm gonna get hangry. But after a while, Donald & Douglas rescued him, leaving him in disgrace.)

Rarity: Ooh, talk about breaking in and entering.

Thomas: Yep, they were not really happy with me ruining their breakfast.

Twilight Sparkle: It's an accident Thomas, it's not your fault, no one is to blame for their mistakes.

Thomas: Thanks Twilight, it means a lot. Now, what else is there, oh yeah, like Percy's risk of going through a warning sign and that ended up having him plunge into the sea, the same thing happened to me, but I fell down a mine and Gordon had to come in and rescue me, which also birthed our alliance.

Gordon: That I did little Thomas.

Thomas: I told you to not call me that.

Everyone: (Laughs)

(Flashback: Thomas was talking rudely to Gordon, ever since he fell into a ditch. After taking his passengers, he now heads to the mines to shunt trucks, being stupid and careless, he thought that the warning sign is silly, so he made a plan to go past it. He bumped the cars fiercely and jerked his driver and fireman off, until it was too late and he fell into a mine. Now he's a silly engine and has to wait for Gordon to rescue him. After he rescued him, they apologize to one another and made an alliance that stands with them today.)

Sunset Shimmer: Talk about an accident that resulted in having a former rival rescue you and making a truce in the end.

Thomas: You got that right Sunset, I have other past experiences that I'll tell you guys, but right now. (Yawns) I think we should get some sleep.

Sunset Shimmer: I totally agree, and tomorrow, we'll continue our campout for two days and after that, we'll head back to Canterlot.

So everyone put on their PJs, and when to their beds: Applejack and Toby, Pinkie Pie and Percy, James and Rarity, Fluttershy and Henry, and Nia and Rebecca went into their sleeping bags. Rainbow Dash and Gordon, Twilight and Edward, and Thomas and Sunset went into their tents. Sunset was fast asleep when she felt arms wrap around her, it was Thomas hugging her close. She was blushing really hard, but she didn't want to wake him, so she went back to sleep, dreaming in her head.

Sunset Shimmer: (Thoughts) Oh Thomas, you are just the cutest person I've ever seen. Oh man, I wanted to tell him I love him so much, but not right now, when the time is right, I'll tell him. And Thomas, I love you.

As they were sleeping, the geodes that Thomas handed to his friends, started glowing and their magic starts transferring into them. The engines are about to get their powers, but we'll see what happens the next time.
