It felt almost as if Mike Peterson had flown the Quinjet faster this time around to get to their destination first. Now Jewel understood that they were on borrowed time and needed to act fast. She still didn't know what the new SHIELD wanted with Skye and her new group of mysterious friends but Jewel had a feeling that it wasn't going to be good. She just hoped that once Skye sees Coulson, she will be able to be convinced into being the peacemaker. Jewel glanced at her watch as she hoped that this time they will get their foot more into the door.

She felt a hand on her knee and looked down to Grant Ward's hand before looking up to his face. It was calm but she could tell that he was tormented by thoughts he didn't want to express at this moment. Jewel sighed as she hoped it was for Skye and not for their daughter, Jasmine Grace. It was a little bit late but Jewel was trying to keep her mind fully on the mission in order to go home faster to their child.

The pressure in her ears gave Jewel the signal that they were descending down to their spot as Coulson was the first to unbuckle himself. Everyone else followed suit once they felt the jet land on solid ground. She unbuckled herself and went over to the armor cabinet to take out her weapons while handing back Grant's.

She turned and went to the screen that Coulson was pulling up of once again another building as she noticed heat signatures within. It seemed to be one woman and two men as of right now.

"Skye…" Coulson mumbled.

"Could it be a trap?" Jewel asked, "It doesn't look like a lot of people like there were before"

"Maybe, but we have no choice, '' Coulson straightened up, "We have to get to her before the new SHIELD does, chances are she's going to be more stubborn than before. Who knows if they made themselves known before"

"If they did, she's not going to sit around and talk to us" Fitz said, "We'll need more time then before and Simmons said that they were already onto her. If we need Skye to join us, then now's our chance, otherwise, Simmons is in the new SHIELD for nothing. Who knows what they'll do to her if they find out that she's the mole"

"SHIELD used to just fire the person and leave them with nothing" Ward explained, "Hydra would've put a bullet in your head if they even thought you were a mole. Chances are they'll probably use the TAHITI machine as a sort of compromise. Who knows if everyone is as "welcoming" as they appear to be. It's definitely something they would use to keep their options open"

Everyone all stared at Grant Ward as if he just grew a third eye on his forehead.

Grant nodded, "You meant it as a question to think on"

Jewel patted his arm, "Yes, honey"

"Alright, we better get a move on" Coulson said, "And more than likely try to find a way to extract Simmons just in case"

Fitz seemed to like that idea as he eagerly nodded before they all raced out of the quinjet, not leaving a chance to small talk like that time. Jewel turned at the last minute and blew a kiss in Grant's direction before she disappeared into the building. Coulson didn't want them to look like a threat so he told the team to keep the icers hidden for now. Jewel didn't like that idea as she didn't really know what she was going up against but had to listen as she leaned herself onto the wall. She sucked in her breath as she could hear people down the hall but to her relief, it wasn't someone she knew, which meant it could only be Skye's new group.

"Daisy said that SHIELD wouldn't just attack like that, they're a different group now" the first voice said.

"Oh, they're a different group alright" another male voice said, he sounded more mature than the other one, "They went from leaving us alone to hunting us down. I told you it was a bad idea to let her do this"

"She just wants to get to this… Coulson guy, she says that she can offer some sort of explanation-"

"She's naive to think that" the second man said, "Jiaying kept our kind hidden for years and we can't just let some girl do whatever she wants just because she believes everyone can live in peace. I thought you of all people would understand that"

"We owe her an explanation, that's why we're here" the younger voice said, "She said she didn't see Coulson attacking us so it could be Hydra-"

Jewel's eyebrows furrowed as she listened to the exchange, she wondered if this Daisy was a new alias for Skye. They never mentioned her but hearing this woman's actions and knowing Coulson sounded a lot like the geeky nerd that she knew on the Bus. She risked a glance around the corner and noticed a young man with dirty blonde hair talking to an older man with… skin covering his eyes? Jewel blinked a couple of times before she moved herself out of sight and down the hall to avoid being heard.

"It sounds like Skye is in the building" Jewel whispered, "But the two I overheard kept mentioning a daisy?"

"That's her birth name" Coulson answered, "She's here"

"She finally found her records with these people?" Grant asked, "That could explain her loyalty to them"

A flash appeared at the corner of her eye, making Jewel jumpback in surprise when she noticed the older man was standing in front of her. She didn't mean to but she looked at him longer than she should have, seeing that there was skin covering the place where his eyes should've been but yet, he was facing her as if he had eyes to see. Jewel turned her body to this man and tried to look as non-threatening as possible.

"Hi, my name is-"

"I don't care what your name is" the man sneered, "You need to leave and never bother us again"

"More than happy to" Jewel commented, "But we need to clarify a few things to our common friend, Skye-"

"Clarify?" he asked, "You mean when we tried to figure out what you're doing to our kind and then you people shot at us, taking more as prisoners?"

Jewel blinked, "I honestly don't know what you're talking about which is why I was sent here"

"I was sent here as well" the man took a step forward, "But it wasn't to negotiate"

Jewel brought her hand up to her ear, "Coul-"

The older man punched Jewel in the stomach, making her moan and double herself down. She grabbed onto the man's hand, twisted it and sent him on his knees as she pressed her leg to the back of his neck. Jewel was about to subdue him but with another flash of light, he was gone and she had to quickly regain her footing as she looked around the room. Suddenly, she felt herself being flung to the other wall as she slammed her head to the back, Jewel barely understood what happened before she moved away as the man was going to drive a kick into her stomach again. She swept his footing as it should've sent him to the floor but he teleported away again.

Jewel huffed, "Cheater"

"Jewel?! Jewels!" Grant's voice came through the comms, "What the hell is going on?!"

"I'm being attacked by some enhanced individual" Jewel responded, "He can teleport"

"Stay where you are, I'm coming to your position" Grant said.

"He mentioned that some of his kind is missing" Jewel informed, "I'm assuming that the last place we were at, the other SHIELD was grabbing and tagging"

A flash of light and he was back but this time with a weapon, a rope that he swung around Jewel's neck. She gasped and tried to move her fist up to give herself some breathing room but her knuckles were barely past the rope as it was unbalanced on the edge. She squirmed as she tried to not lose the fight to gain her breath but the man stayed far behind her so she couldn't hit him. Jewel tried her best to break free from the hold but couldn't risk losing her position with the rope around her neck.

"Jewel!" a voice shouted from in front of her.

She looked up to see it was Grant as he had his icer aimed at the mysterious man, causing her to duck. She heard a couple of rounds being shot but the annoying flash of light made her realize that the attacker was gone before Grant could put a hit on him.

Grant ran over to Jewel and ripped the rope off of her neck before he placed his forehead onto hers, "Are you okay?"

Jewel gasped as she said, "Yeah… he's a tricky one to beat"

"We'll get him together" Grant pulled her up to her feet, "Come on"

Jewel placed her back on Grant's as she kept her icer low, "Still think this was worth it?"

"It beats changing diapers," Grant joked.

"In a way… you're right" Jewel sidenodded.

The man teleported next to the couple as he swung Grant off to the side, but not as rough as he did with Jewel a couple of seconds ago. He turned and did another teleportation flash before Jewel felt tugged and realized that the man had wrapped himself into the rope and around Jewel's hands like how she wanted to subdue him before. Jewel blinked as she turned and noticed that Grant was faced like he was aiming at the man.

"Jewel?" Jewel turned and noticed Skye was on the other end of the hall, looking at what she thought was a kidnapping attempt, "What the hell is going on?!"

Jewel glanced to Grant before she said, "Skye, we can explain-"

"Daisy…" the man pleaded in a rough voice which Jewel knew was a lie because she didn't have a tight grip on the rope.

Skye lifted up her hands as a ripple came towards Jewel and Grant. An invisible shockwave sent the couple flying to the other end of the hallway before they hit the wall with a big thwack! Jewel fell hard onto the floor as her body slumped and her vision blurred. She knew what was coming next as her vision started to darken as a couple of figures came running up to them. Before Jewel's consciousness completely faded, she made out Simmons' face and worried eyes.
