Traveling The Multiverse

Harriet Jayme Potter had been traveling the Multiverse since she was the Mistress of Death since she was seventeen and she was twenty-six; she also had her name changed to Phoenix Amethyst Stark, little sister of Anthony Edward Stark better known as Tony Stark.

However, in every Multiverse, she kept running into a man named Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange. He was always curious about her and he would court her as well but every time that he would get ready to asked her something; she would disappear in flames.

Nix was with Hel, daughter of Loki, the Norse God of Mischief and Lies in the soul relam. Things did not look good.

"Nix?" Hel said.

"Yes, Hel?" Nix said.

"I'm sending you to Earth 616 and there you'll remain because you'll be needed when Thanos comes. You're soulmate will need you as will your brother." Hel stated.

Nix looked at Hel for a moment or two and then realized that Hel was finally letting her stay on Earth to be happy. Then she said, "Thank you, Hel."

"You're welcome, Nix." Hel said as Nix left the soul relam.

Meanwhile, on Earth 616...

Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange was waking up from what he considered a dream. Stephen had shot up from his bed in confusion and worry.

Wong walked in and said, "You had a dream again, didn't you?"

Stephen sighed and said, "Yeah, but I can't figure out why and who the young lady is in my dreams?"

"What do you mean, Stephen?" Wong questioned, "By the way, you fell asleep in your clothes again."

"Apparently, I've been doing that a lot lately." Stephen stated.

"Are these dreams so troubling that you fall asleep in your clothes?" Wong asked curiously.

"No...well maybe." Stephen said, "These dreams don't make sense to me."

"Well, I may have a theory, Stephen." Wong stated.

"Oh and what's that, Wong?" Stephen questioned.

Wong looked at Stephen and said, "You're probably dreaming of your soulmate."

Stephen just blinked.

Stephen and Wong continued to talk.

In Malibu, California...

Tony Stark had to deal with another board meeting, but he was really beside himself because he hadn't heard from his little sister in three years after she had graduated from her boarding school in the highlands of Scotland.

However, Happy and Pepper noticed that Tony was worried about Nix because he had basically been a father figure and big brother to her after their parents had died.

Suddenly, Happy's phone text message went and he checked to see a message that said:

Be prepared for a surprise today! ;)

Happy seemed confused by the message.

Inside Tony's Office...

Tony had just entered his office after the meeting when a feminine voice said, "I see Pepper is making you attended board meetings when you prefer to be in your lab at home!"

Tony turned to see a young woman sitting in his chair and said, "Nix?!"

"Hello, brother." Nix said.

Tony walked to her quickly and hugged her then said, "Why haven't you called or write in three years?"

"Tony, I was basically doing some work that I forgot." Nix said.

Tony sighed.

"Besides, I got my snarkyness from my own brother and it came in handy at times." Nix teased.

Tony chuckled.

"So what's happened so far since I've been gone, Tony?" Nix questioned.

"Well, not much other than that I have an arch reactor keeping me alive plus I became the super hero called Iron Man, closed down the weapons department at Stark Industries, and I have to admit that you were right about Obadiah." Tony said.

"I just said that Obadiah made me feel uncomfortable, brother." Nix said sounding surprised by what her brother told her.

Tony chuckled again.

"Well, I am not going anywhere any time soon, Tony. Now, that I'm home; I plan to stay." Nix said.

Tony and Nix continued talking until Pepper texted Tony to tell him to come on.

"Well, it seems that Pepper is going to be shocked seeing you as well as Happy." Tony said with a smile.

Nix giggled and said, "I sent Happy a text but I don't think he realized that it was me."

"You contacted Happy but not your brother?!" Tony pouted.

"I was planning to surprise you, bro." Nix stated.

"Well, you did surprise me, sis." Tony said.

"Yeah, well like I said earlier, I'm staying home and I'm helping my brother in anyway that I can." Nix stated.

"Thanks, sis." Tony stated.

"You're welcome, bro and I know when I met my soulmate that plan to interrogate him like an over protective brother that you are, Tony." Nix stated.

"You're damn right, little sis." Tony stated.

Nix giggled and said, "I know and I wouldn't have it any other way, bro."

Tony smiled and said, "Well, we have to go meet Pepper and Happy in the parking garage."

"Then let's surprise Happy and Pepper." Nix said.

In The parking garage...

Happy and Pepper were waiting on Tony; they were wondering what was keeping him. Then after a few minutes, they saw Tony with a young woman and they were talking.

Pepper sighed.

However, Happy's eyes went wide with shock as he realized who the young woman was with his boss.

"Miss, Tony needs to head home." Pepper said.

"Geez, Pepper. You were always crushing on my brother, but I am surprised to see that you look to see who I was?" The feminine voice said.

Tony chuckled.

Pepper looked up when she heard Tony laughing at her and she was shocked to see who was standing beside Tony. Her eyes went wide and said, "Oh, my Gosh! Nix?!"

"Yep." Nix said.

"When did you get here?!" Pepper said.

They continued to talk and catch up. Nix told them all of her travels and the people that she had met along with what she had learned; as Happy drove the car and listened as well.

Back with Stephen...

"So,I have a soulmate and she's someone's little sister from what I know from the dreams, Wong." Stephen said.

"I guess that means you have to get the approval of her big brother then." Wong stated.

Stephen nodded.

"Well, why don't you take a morning stroll since you need to process this information, Stephen and the cloak will go with you." Wong stated.

Stephen just nodded and refreshed his clothes then grabbed the cloak and went out.

He walked the streets of New York as he thought about his recent dream of the young woman who appeared to be older than she looked. He was really curious about her that he had to admit that she was very beautiful; but it was astounding that she was in fact a Stark of all things.

Several months later...

Tony Stark was meeting up with the others that were to be part of the Avengers Initiative. His sister, Nix had decided to stay at Stark Tower to check everything and to make sure that the way Pepper wanted a few arrangements were correct.

Moments later, He and the others were fighting Loki on the Helicraft carrier and trying to stop it from falling from the sky. Followed an argument between him and the others; when he realized exactly where Loki was that immediately put his Iron Man armor back on and flew off.

Natasha had seen the look on Tony's face and realized that Tony's little sister was at Stark Tower. She had recalled when she had met Nix because it was only her and Fury that knew of Nix's existence.

Natasha turned to Fury and Fury nodded in understanding at what Natasha was trying to communicate silently.

Natasha grabbed Clint and Steve followed; they boarded the Quinjet then took off towards Star Tower.

Meanwhile, at Stark Tower...

Nix had just come from the lab and headed to where her brother had created the bar that was to the entertainment area. She stepped out of the elevator and someone asked, "Who are you?"

Nix looked up from her Stark pad to see the one and only, Loki. She wasn't really in mood to deal with Hel's father at the moment but answered him by saying, "My name is Nix Stark."

"You're Man of Iron's little sister?" Loki questioned.

"And you're an asshole." Nix said sarcastically.

"Fiesty." Loki said.

"Sorry, but I have a soulmate and he's handsome compared to you." Nix said.

"What?!" Loki said.

"I said that I have a soulmate! So, back off, sir." Nix said.

"No, then I will kill him and take you as mine." Loki said.

Nix's eyes lit like a green fire and the next thing, Loki knew was that the young woman named Nix was fighting him.

Tony just landed and saw his little sister kicking Loki's ass. He wondered what Loki had said to her.

Moments later after the fight...

Tony asked if anyone wanted to get shawarma. Which some of the Avengers agreed with; however, Steve Rogers was wondering about the young woman who fought with them and saved two gentlemen.

Tony noticed that Rogers was deep in thought and said, "Leave Nix alone, Capsicle. She wanted to help and one of those men, I believe was her soulmate that she saved."

Steve noticed the tone in Tony's voice it was like an over protective brother/father and he wondered where it had come from.

"Man of Iron, what is Lady Nix to you?" Thor asked curiously.

Tony sighed and said, "Nix, is my little sister. I hadn't heard from her in three years until she returned before the Monaco incident and she wasn't exactly happy about several things."

Captain Steve Rogers went bugged eyed that the young woman who had fought with them regardless of going to safety was Tony's little sister.

Thor was shocked to know that Tony's little sister knew of Loki's daughter, Hel; but he was more curious as to how Hel and Nix had met.

The other Avengers except for Natasha were shocked to know that Tony even had a sibling.

"How do you have a sister, Tony?" Bruce questioned.

"Nix, well Phoenix Mariah Stark was actually adopted by my parents when I was five. Funny thing, when our parents died; I had to become both big brother and a father figure to her. She went to boarding school in the highlands of Scotland. She would come home for the holidays; however, something happened and Nix was always leery about people." Tony stated solemnly as he recalled Nix's story.

Thor could tell that the Man of Iron didn't want to say anymore than he had about his sister. Natasha and Clint noticed as well along with Bruce.

Somewhere on Bleecker Street...

Nix was walking with Stephen and Wong. She was lost in her thoughts until Stephen said, "Miss Stark, I suppose that Wong and I owe you our thanks."

Nix smiled a small smile and said, "You and Wong are welcome, Dr. Strange."

"You seem a little distracted." Stephen said.

"Well, it's not every day that you suddenly meet a Norse God who happens to be well known as the Norse God of Mischief and Lies and his brother, Norse of Thunder and Lightening. Then learning that a book that was written about them was semi truthful." Nix stated.

"What do you mean, Miss Stark?" Wong questioned curiously.

"Well in the book it said that Loki's eyes were green but when my brother told me that they flickered between being green to blue. I realized that someone or something had Loki under their control. However, it doesn't excuse his actions." Nix stated.

"That would make some sense, Miss Stark." Stephen said.

"I suppose but the question is why would someone or something want to control Loki in the first place unless..." Nix trailed off suddenly as a thought struck her.

"Unless, what?" Wong questioned.

"I could be wrong; however, I wonder if this someone or something wanted to court Hel but when Loki broke for a moment he said he would kill my soulmate and take me as his own. So, I got upset for him saying such a thing but it makes wonder a little. " Nix stated.

Stephen was shocked that Loki had threatened the soulmate of Miss Stark which just happens to be him, apparently.

Nix looked at Stephen and said, "Loki can't hurt you, Stephen. However, he will be able to fall a long period of time and to him it would be like falling for thirty minutes."

Stephen chuckled at that.

As they continued to talking until they reached a building that could be a mansion.

Nix looked at mansion like building and said, "So, this is the Sanctum?"

Both Stephen and Wong nodded.

"It's beautiful on the outside and I believe it's amazing on the inside." Nix stated.

"You'll find out, Miss Stark. Considering that you and Stephen will be dating each other." Wong said.

"True and my brother will let you visit Stark Tower. Besides, I think my brother is still in shock that I protected my soulmate and his friend regardless of them being able to defend themselves." Nix stated.

Stephen chuckled and said, "I believe that. However, I am curious as to why you were in my dreams?"

Nix giggled and said, "Those were no dreams, Stephen. I met you in several different universes but I wasn't exactly aware that we were soulmates at the time."

Both Stephen and Wong were stunned to hear this.

"How is that possible?" Wong asked curiously.

Nix rolled her eyes sarcastically and said, "Hel, Loki's daughter. She's also known as Death herself thanks to Odin if you recall Norse mythology. At the time, I had no idea that I would be friends with Hel either and unlike her father; she's an amazing Norse goddess."

Stephen went wide eyed to know that his soulmate was friends with Loki's daughter. Then he asked curiously, "Does Tony know about this?"

"He does and he finds it ironic in a way." Nix said.

"I'm sure that he does find it ironic." Stephen stated.

Wong headed in while Stephen was with Miss Stark for a few more minutes still talking; then he noticed from the window that Miss Stark kissed Stephen before she left. He was stunned when he saw Stephen returned the kiss with some passion.

Then Wong watched as Nix left in flames or what appeared to be flames. He then went to see Stephen. He was actually stunned to see Stephen flushed from a kiss and the cloak of Levitation was fanning him.

Back at the tower...

Steve and the others jumped as flames or what appeared to be flames appeared suddenly. When the flames died down; there was Nix.

"So, sis, how did it go?" Tony questioned.

"Quite frankly, he agreed with you, brother on me being friends with Loki's daughter, Hel." Nix said.

"Did he ask about your name?" Tony questioned.

"No, but I am sure that he'll wonder why I was named after a mythical creature known as a Phoenix regardless that it is a name of a city in Arizona." Nix stated.

Thor was actually surprised by that tid bit of information.

Steve wasn't sure what to think after he had seen Nix fight. Not to mention, Nix was Tony's little sister but who would be her soulmate if she was anything like Tony.

"So brother, what is your opinion on Dr. Strange?" Nix questioned.

Tony chuckled and said, "He's a good man and a little snarky but all in all; he does respect you, little sis."

Nix hugged Tony and Tony hugged Nix back.

"Am I missing something?" Phil questioned as he appeared with Fury

"Nothing that really concerns S.H.I.E.L.D bit if you must be nosy then my little sister found her soulmate. " Tony stated.

Another few months had passed...

Stephen was in the Sanctum library when Nix stopped by with tears in her eyes.

"Nix, what's wrong?" Stephen asked.

"My brother is in the hospital and the doctors don't know if he'll make it." Nix stated.

Stephen was shocked and asked what happened. So, Nix told Stephen what had happened while she had went to visit one of friends in England and when she had returned she had found out what had happened from her brother's intern, Peter Parker.

Stephen sighed and said, "Captain Rogers may be from the 1940s but he still has a lot to learn and that's to never to piss off a Stark especially if that is you."

"Stephen, I know my brother better than anyone and if Steve Rogers knew that our parents were killed by his best friend, Bucky Barnes while he influenced by Hydra then I understand my brother's anger. He had to grow up pretty quick to raise me on his own. The Press painted him as a playboy but he was looking for someone who would help him out in raising me." Nix stated.

Stephen hadn't realized that Tony had to be an older brother to Nix but also had to be a father figure as well and now, Tony seemed happy that Nix was with him. He was curious and asked, "In your travels where did you go?"

Nix thought for a moment before answering and then said, "I went to Wakanda once and made friends with Princess Shuri. I assume that her brother is now King of Wakanda."

Stephen smiled and said, "Wel...give Princess Shuri a call and explain."

Nix returned Stephen's smile and said, "I'm going to but I'll let her relay a message to Capsicle."

In Wakanda...

Princess Shuri was heading to see her brother and their guests when she received a text.

Nix: Hey Shuri, I thought I would let you know that my brother is in the hospital and they're not sure if he'll make or not. My brother is Tony Stark aka Ironman.

My soulmate, Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange, Sorcerer Supreme suggested that I contact you to let you know what is going on.

Princess Shuri was completely speechless as she continued reading the text from Nix. When she finished reading, she knew that Nix was right that Steve Rogers had overstepped by keeping information from Nix and her brother.

In The Medical Bay in the Palace...

T'Challa was talking with Steve just as Bucky went into frozen sleep; when Shuri walked in and she seemed upset.

"Shuri, what's wrong?" T'Challa questioned.

"Brother, do you remember a young woman that visited and said Wakanda reminded her of her brother?" Shuri asked.

"Yes?" T'Challa said.

"Well, I just learned that her brother is in the hospital and the doctors are not that he'll make or not." Shuri said.

T'Challa was surprised.

"Well, we can hope that her brother makes it." Steve said.

Shuri looked at Steve and said, "She said that I was to relay a message to you, Captain."

Steve seemed confused and asked, "What message?"

"I believe her words were, 'Tell Capsicle that he has crossed the line. He has no idea what my brother has been through and just because my brother acts like a man-child it's because he had to grow up quick to be there for me when our parents died. To know that Captain America betrayed the trust of the Starks heart breaking. However, to keep a secret from my brother and me is the worst.' And those were exact words." Shuri stated.

T'Challa looked at Shuri and asked, "Shuri, was it Nix?"

Shuri looked at her brother and said, "Nix's full name is Phoenix Mariah Stark, she's the little sister to Tony Stark."

Steve realized that he has pissed Nix Stark off.

T'Challa was surprised that his sister was friends with Tony's little sister.

Back in New York...

Nix went to the hospital after talking with Stephen. When Nix got there, she saw Peter, Happy, and Pepper.

"Miss Stark?" Peter said.

"Hi, Peter." Nix said.

"Nix?" Pepper questioned.

"Capsicle has lost my respect; however, I will admit that I am not sure my brother will forgive him or not. I will always stand with my brother and my soulmate no matter what." Nix stated.
